Keionx Rutace Xionek Heronn
Baking? Keionx knew nothing about baking, but All right she would give it a try. As she attempted it, she had a few uncanny recollections of mooncakes from long ago. Those had been delicious, hadn't they?
Unconciously, Keionx attempted to make them, mixing in lard and cardamom and all sorts of other ingredients that did NOT belong in cupcakes.
Then, as the oven baked, Keionx decided to do a workout while she waited, getting a little too into it. She opened up the oven as smoke poured from it, revealing cupcakes burned to a charcoal crisp.
"oh. Hmm." Keionx tried to make the best of it with icing and sprinkles, but in the end... She stalked off. This was not heroic at all.

- you have some of the right ingredients but the machine seems to have a mind of it's own as batter spits out everywhere. +1 point - just slightly overcooked, but otherwise not bad! You can decorate these! +3 points - "It's amazing! You're a natural," she claps her hands excitedly and jots down your score on her clipboard. + 5 9 points!
Sinter would never have considered himself much of a party-person, but he loved Bloodfest. The atmosphere was excitable with competition, but with a permeating emphasis on fun and togetherness. The nostalgia of childhood always hung comfortingly in the air.
The smell of baked goods also hung in the air. Sinter slowed his walk upon noticing the brightly decorated booth. He tapped on Ganyma's bicep before the other troll could wander too far ahead into the crowds. "How lovely!" He cooed at the delicate filigree on the banners. Upon seeing the advertised game was indeed a baking competition, Sinter gave Ganyma a sly look. "...Would you mind terribly?" He knew what the answer would be. Ganyma was nothing if not obliging and it wasn't as though the pair had anywhere to be but playing games at Bloodfest. Sinter ducked back behind the main booth.
It took Sinter a moment to adjust to the wide array of baking supplies just laying about. Unfamiliar cookware was a challenge in of itself, as was proven by the finicky electric mixer. Still, the event was by and far more relaxed than the famed cooking competition of Bloodfests past. Once he found his bearings, Sinter fell into the same rhythm of his home baking. By the time he reached the decoration stage, he had taken to piping icing into cute floral patterns.

Bloodfest had accidentally become a tradition for Sinter and Ganyma. How strange it seemed that they met on the event grounds, and how things had snowballed (ha!) from there. The warmth of the atmosphere was complimented by the bright, balmy evening – they hadn’t been in the crowds for long, but Ganyma was already looking forward to a swim. Even so, he felt at ease and relaxed (even if the rare ALG fan stopped and stared).
“Mmm…” Ganyma smelled the sugary aroma before he registered the booth itself. He turned around at the sensation on his shoulder and smiled openly, happily conceding to Sinter’s delicious hobby. It was perfect timing to raise his blood sugar! “’Course not, especially if I can help!” He exclaimed.
Ganyma followed Sinter to the booth and carefully watched him arrange his ingredients. While he did so, he followed suit to make a second batch of batter. Sinter had an issue with the unusual blender, so on his second go around Ganyma made sure to give it a sharp whack to get the machine in order. By the time he’d stepped up to it he was fortunate enough to get a well-blended mixture.
Side by side with the redblood, Ganyma happily baked – finding that their co-created creations were astounding successes. His icing was more rustic than his counterpart’s, but at the end of his trial Ganyma thought that suited him just fine. He couldn’t wait any longer. With a big bite that was accompanied with a big glob of frosting on his nose, Ganyma hummed in delight.
“So good! These are amazing.”
