Natash loved trinkets and small things. She plucked the plastic bee from the hive draw and looked at the number to find out her prize, hoping for something good again. She had been eyeing the jewelry and wanted one before Bloodfest was over!

ZEYLLA CRYPSI
Zeylla made her usual trip to Nictors booth with a little more urgency today. She hadn't had anything to eat, and her stomach grumbled while her tongue craved honey. She gave the yellowblood a more familiar nod of the head. She liked this troll, he was polite and ran his booth well, though she had noted he stuttered when speaking, and while part of her felt that that was weakness, that was quashed by her respect for how well he ran everything. She was wearing her bee necklace today, which was the first piece of jewelry the greyblood had ever owned.
"Hello," she said in a offhanded nature as she grabbed her figurine. She glanced at the number and stated, "Another candle, I think Ill take the bee one," she stated as she set down the figurine, and eyed the food beside her with a grumble in her belly. She didn't wait for Nictor today to hand her a candle, and quickly scooped one up before sauntering over to the treats...

...So many choices! Zeylla found herself ignoring the recommendations as she stared at all the items before her. She was literally starving, having spent most of her beetles she had brought on her room and food in the city. Perhaps skimping out on breakfast had been a wide idea, but there was enough cheeses and bread and butters that Zeylla found herself not too worried.
She was so focused on which cheese and what bread she wanted for the little sandwich that she completely spaced the flavor profile of the honey. She had picked a hard, sharp cheddar and dark bread and made a little snack when she realized neither of those would go well with the orange blossom honey.
A small frown covered her face, but with Nictor so close and possibly watching she didn't dare put the items back after touching them. So she ate her dry little sandwich in resignation, and stared longingly at the honey.
Maybe a ride would cheer her up....

ZEYLLA CRYPSI...Nope. Terrible ride. Zeylla was clutching on for dear life as Beehmoth buzzed around and a jerking pace, and her yanks on his fur as she held on did not help the situation. She closed her eyes tight and tried her best not to get sick. And then it was done, and she groaned as she toppled off. She looked at the beast, who was rumbling unpleasantly, and managed to pat him as if to say 'Sorry' before going back to the booth to lean against it. She saw the yellowblood staring at her as she leaned there, and gave him a semi-apologetic look, " Just need a minute to settle my stomach," she informed him with a scratch to the back of her head. Taki-di better luck tomorrow maybe :U

Nictor stared up at the treebeast, blinking a few times to be sure. The lusus was massive, pretty much the same size as Papion. Perhaps what had Nictor at a loss was the little troll standing on the treebeast's arm who was holding aloft one of his plastic bee toys.
He briefly wondered if this treebeast flowered. Beehemoth could always use more friends among the treebeasts.
Nictor smiled a little awkwardly and motioned for the tealblood to return the bauble. When he got a look at the number, he offered to trade her her proper prize. Bit better than a plastic bee. Also he needed those, trolls could not take them.

Gnash got a perfect plate together, eager to try the orange blossom honey when her plate was jostled out of her hands and crashed to the floor. She whipped around, ready to hurt the troll who'd done this to her, but they were long gone and as her eyes darted around she could find no trace of them. She clenched her fists and cried instead. "I just wanted to eat the very good honey snacks that were provided to me here...." she blubbered.

Natash wiped her tears and decided to try a different game. The booth owner's large bee lusus was doing... rides? For a second, she hesitated. She had ridden her own very large lusus before and t was never particularly pleasant, or at least hadn't been in quite some time. Was he a mean lusus too?
She had to try it though. Gnash approached the bee lusus and pat him gently, requesting a very fun ride that made her happy and smile. His fur was so soft, she rubbed her cheek against him and giggled. It was so unlike the sleek scaly feel of most lusii she knew, or even the chiton of insects. It was nice! The ride itself was almost perfect, and she screamed and laughed the whole time, feeling the air in her hair and against her fins. She almost forgot about her lost plate of snacks.

Tzofia stopped by again to try the Hive Draw game and hoped for another prize to collect to show Peapop she really was doing her best. She hadn't quite worked her way up to trying the other games, though, or even saying hello to the booth owner, although she did pause to take in his sudden change of appearance. It was so colorful! And she liked it! But she couldn't seem to get that out of her mouth again! Frustrated with herself, she took her jar of honey and scurried off.

Back to the bee booth. Api stopped by the hive draw game to check out what they'd win this time. They picked up one of the plastic bees and examined the number... oh! A big one! It seemed this time they got to pick out a candle. They shuffled on over to the prize table to check out the available candles. Goodness, these candles were such high quality... they should really learn how to make their own candles this good... They picked up the bee-shaped one and then turned to go find the snack booth.

Orange Blossom! What a lovely flavor- Api couldn't wait to get their hands on some of the honey for the night's taste testing. They loaded up a plate and then got a decent helping of the honey before finding a spot to chow down. It seemed that their snacks did not go as well with this particular flavor as they would've liked... but clearly it was good honey. They just needed to figure out better foods to pair with it. They snagged a small jar of the honey after finishing their meal. Time for the bee ride...

Calida had been meaning to pass by the second bee booth, but with all the hustle and bustle of the last two nights it had been very difficult. Now she was here! She decided to sample some of the snacks, only to realize that she'd completely forgotten about the honey samples. Oh well, she'd be talking to the booth owner later about buying honey in bulk for her bakery!

Third try. It worked out for Calida's booth, surely it would work out here, too! Api waited their turn patiently, steeling themself for the inevitable jerk that had caught them off guard the last two times they tried this. Once it was their turn, they climbed aboard- but before they were really settled, the buzzbeast took off! Api yelped in surprise, barely managing to hold on. Thankfully he slowed down and Api got to experience at least a few moments of peaceful gliding before he landed again. Well... it was better than before! Surely by the end of the week they'd be a real buzzbeast riding champ.

Not too long later, Calida was looking over some of the other games when she found herself at the drawing table. She plucked one of the bees up and was pleased to find that she won some honey! so she'd be trying some after all? How wonderful. But she had other business to take care of. She smiled at the currently brightly painted vendor. " Do you sell any of this in bulk?" Calida held the honey close to her chest and smiled as she asked. " Maybe at least a 2 gallon bucket?"
