Chiara was partially blind after her "partner" managed to hit her in the eye. She never should have teamed up with this brat. The blueblood just ended up shooting around randomly, hoping to hit her team member.
Lazer tag! Dei was all over this. He suited up and headed on in, trying to stay as alert and aware of his surroundings as possible. With the lighting being so weird and the loud sounds it was a little difficult, but worth it. Maybe if he ran into Perore during the festival he could invite her to come play or something. It wasn't physical or anything, but it was pretty strategy based. He crept along a passage way until he spotted an enemy dummy---

Apparently aiming this thing was difficult- he took three shots but only managed to hit once before a pink team member appeared in his vision. He groaned to himself and took off back down the passage way he'd come from- he'd rather buy some time and possibly some back to shoot up the dummy later than risk getting taken out this early in the game. He just needed to find a new target...
As he continued to stalk through the arena, he listened for any signs of other players near by. He thought he heard someone running up ahead. Perfect opportunity. Actually grinning to himself for once, he rounded the corner- only to get blinded as a strobe light flashed in his eyes. Hissing in pain, he fired off some shots at random before ducking back behind the wall again. Somehow, he managed to hit someone! Now if only his eyes would stop hurting...

After recovering from the awful lights in his eyes, Dei continued down the passageway to find someone else to shoot at. Or another dummy, which ever worked. Instead of finding one of those, he found a fellow Team Green player. Unfortunately he found them by getting smacked in the face by their gun. Dizzied, he stumbled back a few steps and had to regain his balance/self-awareness before continuing on... By that time the timer was up. Bummer!

Garand geared up in silent excitement, a little extra hyped up from the ticket he'd won the night before. He was good at this, and an actual adult gunner had talked to him about guns earlier too, and Bloodfest was shaping up to be the best thing ever. He flashed a quick smile over at his lusus, who lifted a paw into the air in a squeaked cheer, and then they were on the battleground and it was just him, the laser gun in his hands, and a whole lot of Team Pink to attack across the way.
He felt invincible. As he raced towards the enemy territory, he felt like time had slowed down just to give him this moment. Sure of every shot, he fired again and again and again, only dimly registering the beeping of his score rising with every accurate strike. As one of them finally started to turn to retaliate, he whirled behind a column and held in a triumphant laugh as confused voices wondered where he'd gone. How he'd disappeared.
With a quiet, breathy laugh, he worked his way around and then did it again, escaping back towards safer sides as if he'd never been there at all, those his score definitely said differently. As he rounded a corner though, a gun struck him in the eye. He fell back with an oof, hand over his face.
Maybe not so invincible, after all.

Tonight Kerras made sure to be holding their weapon the right way. Their shame from two nights before had followed them all the way outside the booth, and they avoided the booth and Malice the following night. Since then however, they had decided to sum up their courage and redeem themself. Unfortunately they were not off to a great start.
The weapon they had chosen, sporadically malfunctioned. Most times, whenever Kerras pulled the trigger, nothing happened. Then, when they were creeping around, trying to sneak past enemy forces it would suddenly fire, alerting everyone to their presence. They had spent most their time in the booth fleeing from other players. Sometimes it worked in their favour though. Once when they were cornered, and all seemed to be lost, the weapon suddenly produced a string of garbled noise and all the surround players' vests lit up, indicating a hit.
