The spear butt thunked against the breastplate and slid, just enough for Kairatos to grab it with both hands nearly overlapping, his thumb brushing across the signet ring on his other hand in a fit of fury that didn't include much for tact. He was a knight of Mars dammit, the powers of her world were in him, and he was a soldier of that world, and if he couldn't defend who he cared about... who could? He wasn't sure if it was his imagination or not, but the ache and burn of the blows he'd already taken seemed to fade back into fuel for the fire, the need to give this damned general something to remember... that even an already injured knight of Mars... or at least this particular one, could hold his own. Either way... He yanked and yanked hard on the spear in his grip, jerking Leucite close enough to swing one hand up, back handed, and slam the gauntlet he'd already used on Chrysocolla across Leucite's jaw. "Let me leave you a REMINDER." DMG 13+ 19 + 5(aspect) -5= 32 HP:200 of 250 Def: 5 Effect: +1 attack for every 10hp lost from Mars Aspect.

General LeuciteLeucite had to give the Martian Knight credit. Not many could have pulled the spear closer like he had, and the backhand smacking across his jaw caused stars to bloom in his vision or a moment, with a grunt, he turned his head, spitting a bit of blood out and he hoped he hadn't lost a tooth in the exchange. If he had well - wouldn't be the first time really. Roughly pulling the spear back from the Knight, he didn't speak - spinning the spear quickly again, he made a quick downward stab toward's the man's thigh - hoping to give him a good cut there to hopefully slow him down a bit. HP: 251/300 DMG: 16 + (8atk - 5def = 3) = 19 Effects: - NRG: 60/60 Atk: 8/Def: 5

The spear dug into flesh and cut a bleeding gash... right before the other fist made a jab for Leucite's gut as though Kairatos was trying to drill for spine, and if there was any reaction to the pain in the Mars knight's expression, it seemed more as though it just fueled the punch that much more. He was done talking, at least for now, and any threat's were in his eyes. The promise he wasn't going to stop hitting, or coming after him, as long as he could stand. General LeuciteThe punch to his gut made him grunt and he could feel his lungs deflate, but he took a quick gasp for air and pulled the spear back. They had entered combat in earnest, and he could tell that it was a do or die situation now. He would either have to take the target down - or back off. He was not inclined to do the later. Pulling the spear back again, he made another stab, this time aiming for the other thigh, trying to slow his target down, to bleed him a bit more. HP: 222/300 DMG: 1 + (8atk - 5def = 3) = 4 Effects: - NRG: 60/60 Atk: 8/Def: 5

((Cthulhu put those 0 sided dice back where you found them.)) ...and Kairatos was just as ready to follow through with another blow, though due to a change of posture this one might well end up slamming into ribs instead of softer flesh, for all that seemed to be phasing the knight, who was still bleeding fairly freely from already scarred legs, and continued to look diabolically as though every single hit only made him hit harder. The bull motif might have seemed particularly appropriate, because the Mars Knight was definitely definitely seeing red.

General LeuciteThis was not at all going according to plan. Well - to be fair, Leucite had no plan. His usual tactics weren't working and with a low growl, he pulled the spear back again, this time he wouldn't hesitate. He roughly drove the spear forward, aiming squarely for the Knight's midsection. With any luck he'd punch right through and gut the b*****d. Luck... as it turned out... was not with Leucite. Not remotely. The spear hit armor and skidded, cutting a red furrow out of the bare places on the knights arm, but only as he moved in yet again.... this time with an furious elbow jab at the soft tissue between collarbone and neck. He knew that hurt, he'd taken a damn hammer to the shoulder. Let someone else feel a hint of how much pain that had been. It wasn't even about disabling, it was just. supposed. to hurt. Anything else was a prize in the box. DMG 13+ (7) + roll -Leucs defence) (33 points of ow.) HP:172 of 250 Def: 5 : Effects: Aspect. So much aspect.

General LeuciteThe frustration was rising - quickly - as was desperation. He was not getting any good hits in, and what he was doing didn't seem to phase the Knight either. A low, angry growl escaped his lips as they curled into an almost feral snarl, bringing the spear back, he made another mad stab, grunting from the impact of the hit and ramming his spear forward again once more toward his foe's stomach. The spear hit the metal armor with a thunk that may well have sent vibrations through the shaft of it, turning aside yet again and cutting another gash in Kairatos's arms, outside of whatever bruising it had done underneath, but it remained resilient to the attempts to gut stab the knight, a small mercy for what little protection such armor provided against other attacks from agents. There was a new pain there from it anyway, that might have been a cracked rib, but for all he felt, it was just needles prodding him onward.
And onward he went, throwing himself forward, with the horns of the bull pauldron leading, an near animal roar in his throat.

General LeuciteLeucite, to his credit, attempted to sidestep the charging bull of a man, but he was unable, as one of the capped horns of the bull clipped his shoulder and he could feel the bruising. Growling, his hand gripped it, and he drove forward, dropping the spear and instead reaching for the other man's throat with his hand. "JUST DIE ALREADY!" He snarled in pure, feral rage, fingers reaching to try and crush against the man's windpipe. HP: 130/300 DMG: 5 + (8atk - 5def = 3) = 8 Effects: - NRG: 60/60 Atk: 8/Def: 5

Kairatos's teeth bared as the other man's hand struggled to find a grip on his throat, heels digging into the ground as though he were still trying to shove the blunted horns of the pauldron into Leucites flesh like an actual bull... though that wasn't the half of it, as he swung up the heel of a hand hand to thump Leucites ear, finding his voice again to hoarsely snarl.

Teeth snapped close enough to his throat that he could feel Leucites breath in passing, but he had things to do. He had a fight to win, he had people to protect, and he hit him again. He'd lost count of how many times he'd hit him. He had all but lost track of Meteora had even escaped, he just wanted to make sure the man could not, would not, follow her, or hurt her.
