Clearly the Lieutenant was being a tad overly ambitious dropping down onto a Knight all by her lonesome. But if there was one thing that Vanadinite was, it was obedient and when told to strike, strike she shall. It didn't matter what rank the enemy was, if she couldn't stop him she could at least distract and slow him down.
Keep him from taking down someone higher ranked than herself. That was her more realistic objective.
A small feeling of victory flashed through her when the Knight fell forward, but the roll and kick was something that she was not anticipating. His feet went out and swept her own from right under her, causing her to drop to the ground with a loud thud. The back of her head hit the concrete and the impact knocked the wind out of her for a moment causing her to gasp for a breath. She could've swore she saw stars.
With the space that ended up between them and the time it took Vanadinite to see straight, she couldn't possibly let him get away. She sat up, pulled the giant two-fingered ring off of her right hand and with surprising accuracy, managed to throw it at the Knight as hard as she could. It may not neccessarily hurt but it could at least sting and be an annoying distraction.
Sabine hissed as the punch hit her gut, it sparked familiar bursts of pain into her lower back - but she was willing to suck it up if it meant doing more damage to Stibnite.
"Too bad you didn't!"
She growled, and leveled her fist back at the other woman, hoping it took her square in the jaw.
Not only did Saponite's weak hit fail to drive off the senshi, she decided to retaliate by pulling his hair. It didn't hurt a lot, but it kind of made him feel like he was being picked on by a schoolyard bully. His first instinct was to try and pry her hands off his hair, but after a moment he got a better idea. If her hands were busy with his hair, maybe she'd be less likely to use them to defend herself.
He was still at an odd angle to hit her, so he went another route. He got his hands under him and pushed against the ground, aiming to flip (or at least roll) over on top of her. He may not be much of a fighter, but he could pin her down at least.
Just when I was thinking this would turn into a schoolyard slap fight, he gets in a good hit. XD

Falias, Knight of Earth
The thud had sounded overly loud and whilst Falias had taken the opportunity to scramble back to his feet and put a bit of distance between himself and the Lieutenant, he had also hesitated-
Because he hadn't meant to kick out quite so hard.
And then a bright white had blazed out from somewhere further down the street and for a moment he had turned towards it with a frown...
Only to find himself swinging back in the direction of the Lieutenant as something bounced off him.
Said something fell to the sidewalk with a clatter, Falias' green eyes blinking for a moment as he spotted the ring.
"It really isn't generally advised to attack someone with a stronger power signature than your own you know" he told her as he kicked the ring back in her general direction, sending it skittering down the sidewalk.
The white light worried him however, something about it suggesting that it was something that needed checking out - particularly as he was pretty sure that it corresponded to the dots that he had spotted on the map that his ring was projecting-
Although Falias wasn't sure that he could chance double-checking...
Well at least not at the moment.

The hit from both girls made the Captain slide bad. Her eyes were raging as she picked them back up to focus on the pair. Behind them, she could see the third...the senshi in white who acted as their leader. "Too good to let her ruffle her feathers..." Stibnite hissed out as she unwrapped her arms.
Chaos built around her and in a flash, two youma appeared at her side. They were not her own but alike. Smaller in size but both still flew and with a jab of her hand, she sent them forward. Both towards the little senshi of tattoos as she herself dove back towards the smaller one with her fist towards her nose.
"You shut your mouth-" Sabine was about halfway through her retort when the youma were sent flying toward Imparatrix and she felt a fist sock her square in the nose.
She yelped in pain, feeling her eyes fill with tears. But she pressed on. "'Trix! Take care of those youma!" Before she pivoted and spun a hard back spin-kick toward Stibnite's hip.
A young woman wearing a hood appeared out of nowhere and began to chastise the Lieutenant for his cowardice (or apparent cowardice, whichever). Bob didn't feel her words applied to himself, though even if they had been directed also towards his furry ginger self, he was too caught up in staring at the flash of teal and white hiding behind the Assassin's Creed type hoodie to notice. He knew the reference from the bajillion commercials for the film on daytime television - it made for a decent Negaverse costume, but it also hid far too much of this dame's womanly figure, as far as Bob was concerned. Guys needed to be armored up, gals needed to at least give a fellow a head's up that there was a chick under all that fabric....
Shaking his head, he was content with watching the others take off and join into the fray. He was hesitant to join, himself, until an appropriate opening presented itself. After all, when you weighed hardly a quarter of any of the other opponents out on the field (and probably a paltry tenth of what Big Blonde weighed), you had to be particular about what and who you struck at.
Little redhead Lieutenant was struggling with a senshi he'd found, even going so far as to tumble down to the ground with her in a practically graceless slap fight. Okay, so that was about as threatening as watching a couple of Jerry Springer guests going at it.
Perfect.
Running forward, he dashed his large kitty self towards the fallen duo. Mindful not to accidentally swipe poor little Redhead, he let out a warning screech before launching himself towards Sailor Skadi. Claws extended, he landed with a flurry of swipes before quickly dashing several yards away in a very cat-like retreat.
Less likely to use them to defend herself indeed. Not only did she have the Lieutenant moving under her, but she was suddenly blind-sided by something or someone. She heard the screech, but the cat moved so quickly it was all a blur to the Senshi. Unwilling to release Saponite's hair twisted between her fingers, she had no defense when claws swiped across her face. Forgetting about the Lieutenant, Skadi's hands immediately released him to press against the fresh wounds.
With the moving underneath her and the force of Saponite's hands, Skadi slammed onto the ground and rolled slightly before the Lieutenant managed to pin her down.
She caught a glimpse of what she believed to be the cat that had come to the Lieutenant's aid several yards away and knew that there was no way she could reach him at that distance.. And her magic required touch. She shrieked and thrashed under him in a fit of rage but considering she was unable to use her hands to wrench herself free, Skadi decided to go for a (quite literal) low blow. She used him being atop of her to her advantage, drawing her right knee up as hard as she could to hit him where it really hurt.
The white light on the other side of the fence hadn't been missed by Vanadinite- she was sure it was some sort of beacon for the White Moon to gather up their forces and do something big to out-fight the Negaverse. That always seemed to be the case. So if Vanadinite could stop even one Knight from helping? That was what was important. That would get her recognized as a loyal agent if she survived this- and quite frankly even if she didn't. At least she would go down fighting, and fighting one of their best.
Her pink eyes glanced down at the ring that was kicked back to her and she raised her hand to summon it back onto her fingers. The stars faded and she managed to push herself to her feet and gather her footing.
"No?," she questioned his comment about fighting someone stronger. "And why is that? Either you're holding back or you're weak. Or you're holding back because you're a p***y, which also makes you weak. Take your pick," she smirked.
Trying to bait the Knight into fighting her and not running off to the white beacon was dangerous, but it was her duty to the Negaverse. Lowering her right shoulder she charged at Falias with all of her might.
Though the youma ran true, the kick to her hip made the next punch miss completely.
"You little..." Stibnite spat, her eyes narrowing as she regained her balance and stepped back.
That was when she took a second to glance away. Red eyes watched the white senshi again and then...she saw the mess.
She didn't know what had happened but Stibnite saw him...Leucite...dragged into the battle as if a sack of potatoes. Her eyes landed on the Mars knight who held him. She could hear nothing but she could see forms...see the shapes...she...
Alarm passed swiftly across Titan's features. This was too close, too familiar. This was a field of battle, with blood and weapon drawn, and direct orders. The General grabbed what handful of the smaller senshi could be found for purchase, ungentle. Threw the one eternal at the troublesome other than pleaded with equally too familiar tones for leniency and armistice of a kind.
Aegir was as fine a weapon as the hammer for attacking Ida.
I cannot let them pass here. So many shadows are cast. A light from the center of it. I should stay here and make sure they stay down.
Whilst Falias tried his best to keep his face neutral, the twitch of his eyebrow suggested that the Lieutenant's words had at least partly struck home.
He still wasn't intending to serious fight her though...
Unfortunately the same couldn't be said of the Lieutenant, who had decided to charge in his direction.
And it still stung, even though Falias had tried to brace himself, ithe impact causing him to stumble back a few steos as his breath whooshed out in a hiss.
He didn't summon his weapon, instead using his left hand to swing out at her instead in the hopes of pushing back...
But this was wasting time - too much time - and a part of him knew it.

Phact had chosen to stay back as Trix and Sabine took on the Captain. Sabine had a score to settle with her, she understood that. Be she also understood that three on one was not right...
For a long moment she watched, waiting to see if she would be needed. That was until she heard Kai's voice boom above the others. Watching from where she was, Phact made up her mind and took off at a run towards the red zone.

Eternal Aegir
He'd seen the alarm cross Titanlåvenite's features, felt the hands gripping roughly at unprotected limbs; he'd thought, for one dazzling, dizzying moment, that Titan was going to hold him there and yank his starseed.
Instead he found himself launched unceremoniously into the air, heading right towards his friend and erstwhile comrade, Ida. There was nothing he could do to stop his momentum, for Titan had thrown him bodily with great force, it was all he could do to cast his eternal magic in the hopes of knocking the Negaverse General down before crashing into his friend.
"Soundless Tranquil Ocean!" Magic welled up and spread out golden and warm like the shallows in tropical places, crashing across the battlefield with far less precision that he would have hoped; it destroyed the second youma, but didn't even touch the intended target atop the concession stand.
There was a blinding white pain from his already damaged ribs that kept him from doing anything but wheezing air in, no matter how much he wanted to apologize to her. So he simply focused on breathing as the last of his magic dissipated.

damn, rejected hard core. he's never gonna recover!
"Hey! Pay attention to the fight!" Sabine growled, following up her kick with a quick jab at the woman's side. She wasn't about to let her have any break in this - if she wanted to drop her guard she was going to take full advantage of it.
