♡ She was half way out of the door when Nicholas said her name, it caught her attention immediately because his voice was gravelly and loud. Turning around, Tegan face him, her phone and keys in each hand. She closed the door and took a couple of steps towards him, "You're being serious, right?" She asked hesitantly because Nicholas seemed like a big joker, "Deal." She smiled and took her phone and car keys, rushing out of the house just in case Nicholas decided to change his mind. Closing the front door her, she watched the school bus pass her house as Tegan unlocked her car door. Putting her backpack in the passenger seat and sitting down in the drivers seat, she put the keys into the ignition, the car didn't start when she twisted the keys. "No ******** way." She groaned, trying to start it once again.
After trying a couple of more times, Tegan finally gave up and grabbed her backpack to go back inside of her house. "I need a ride." She said, tossing her keys on the counter, pissed that her car won't start. Stuffing her hands into the pockets of her sweater, Tegan looked over at Nicholas witha grumpy look. "I'll meet you at the car." She said and headed towards the door.

He was expecting some attitude, though all she did was conform, flash a smile in his direction, and leave without another word. "Have a good day," was all he said before the door shut behind her. Nicholas turned around and headed back into the kitchen to start cleaning up his mess, although that was when he heard the door open and close once more. Turning around in confusion, he was about to go see what was up, when Tegan stormed into the kitchen and tossed her keys onto the counter claiming she needed a ride.
He didn't bother to go looking for answers and just grabbed his keys from his jacket pocket and headed outside in a light jog. "What happened? Is yours not starting?" Nicholas asked curiously as he sat down, shutting the car door behind him. "You've got to give me directions, I don't know where I'm going." He adjusted his glasses as he paid attention to the camera while backing out of the driveway and strapped on his seat belt when they were on the road.

♡ Crossing her arms, Tegan walked over to Nicholas' car and waited for him to unlock the doors. Hearing the car unlock, she took her backpack off and got into the passenger seat with an annoyed huff, watching him jog towards his car and get into the drivers seat. "Yeah, It's not starting and I don't have enough time to look at it right now, I don't want to be late." Tegan sighed, it was a shocker for most people but she actually did care about her school work. She hated school with a burning passion, but her goal was to be part of top ten when she graduates, also she wants to get into a good university. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do career wise yet, but she needed to get into a great university.
"Take a right at the stop sign." She said, watching out the windshield to tell Nicholas directions to her school. The older male needed to speed up or she was going to be late to her first period. "Go over the speed limit a little, I'm going to be late and take another right at the roundabout." Tegan told Nicholas, still pissed that her car wouldn't start, she tried not to let it out on him though. He was nice enough to give her keys back to her this morning and he could have made her walk to school or take the public bus system when he found out her car wasn't working. "Then at the second light take a left."

x ▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R ENicholas nodded some at Tegan's first set of directions and decided to speed up a little, going twenty over since the street was empty for the most part. He exhaled an exasperated sigh when the girl demanded he go faster and licked his lips. "I'm going twenty over the speed limit, what more do you want from me??" He snapped, accelerating nonetheless. Now, he was going thirty and he quickly glanced around and checked the rear-view for police cars. The only time he would really speed was if he was on the highway late at night, when it was absolutely dead. Other than that, he considered himself to be a very safe driver.
Soon enough, Nicholas was pulling into Tegan's school and stopped in front of the steps that lead up to the front entrance. He noticed a group of girls that seemed to be looking in their general direction although he didn't think anything of it. "And we are here," he said, taking his glasses off briefly once the car was parked and turning down the volume a few notches. "What time am I picking you up?" He asked dully, turning his head to gaze over at the other with his eyebrows raised questioningly. He didn't mean to sound like he didn't want to - he just wasn't expecting to be out the door so fast this early. It caught him off guard and he would much rather be laying down on the couch, reading a good book.

♡ Yawning quietly when they arrived to her school, Tegan let out a quiet sigh and grabbed her backpack from the backseat. "I get out at two twenty, but feel free to pick me up as early as you want, I hate this place." She smirked, looking around the student drop off area at the other students getting dropped off and a small group of her friends waiting for her at a picnic table. Turning back towards Nicholas so they wouldn't see her, his dorky glasses were taken off. "I can help you choose a new pair of glasses, those ones look pretty beat up." She recommended, the poor male cracked them yesterday morning when she tried to throw a punch at him.
He was so much better looking without his glasses, Nicholas was really attractive. Looking back over at her friends, she saw Amanda and Daisy get up and walk towards his nice car. "My friends are coming so I'm going." Tegan said and leaned over the center console and pressed a kiss on his cheek. As she moved away from him, Amanda yanked the passenger door open. "Who is this, Tegan?" Daisy asked with a smirk, Tegan rolled her eyes and got out of the car. "Thanks, see you later Nicholas." She said, saying his full first name for once.

]x ▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R E"You don't say," he said, looking down at his glasses. It was sort of upsetting that he would have to throw them away when it was Evelynn, his 'special friend', who had picked them out for him. "I think what I'll do is invest in a pair of contacts. Give into the peer pressure," he chuckled softly. Nicholas looked over at Tegan once more when she stated that her friends were coming and nodded his head, starting the car back up. Pressing his lips into a smile when Tegan had kissed his cheek, he watched her go to open the door when suddenly one of her friends did it for her.
The male nodded when Tegan said goodbye, saying, "two twenty." He heard one of the girls squeal when he said that for whatever reason and just nodded his head awkwardly before putting on his glasses and driving off. The first thing he did was call and book an appointment with his eye care practitioner for ten o'clock, explaining his dilemma and that he needed a pair of contacts within the week, if possible. He was told that depending on whether or not the contacts of his prescription were in stock, he could get them today. Which was brilliant.
Nicholas arrived at Tegan's school earlier than expected, so he parked the car where it was before and got out and sat on the steps. It was odd not wearing glasses; he had been wearing them since he was ten. Although, admittedly, the world definitely appeared a lot brighter with contacts and they didn't interfere with his peripheral vision. He felt his phone buzz in his front pocket and fished it out, checking his email to see if any employers had got back to him and practically grinned ear to ear to see that they did. Nicholas replied to the email in an instant to set up an interview for Wednesday at nine.

♡ After Nicholas drove off, Amanda and Daisy didn't hesitate to stop questioning who this guy that dropped her off was. "He's cute, I love the glasses." Daisy mentioned, "I thought he was hot, plus he drive a nice car, he's rich isn't he! Tegan you've got good taste in men." Amanda added, "He's my babysitter because you bitches keep getting me in trouble!" Tegan argued, heading up the steps and walking into the school, "I'll see you guys at lunch." Tegan told the two and rushed to her first class of the day, the one minute bell went off telling the students that were still in the hallway that class started in a minute. At lunch her friends obviously continued talking about Nicholas and how cute he was along with his 'hottie accent' according to Daisy, all it did was annoy Tegan so she sat there and started some homework as she ate her lunch.
There was five more minutes left until class was over and her sixth hour teacher was done teaching for the day and let all of her students leave early if they didn't tell any of the security guards what teacher they had. So, Tegan did that and headed out towards the parent pick up parking lot in the front of the school, figuring Nicholas would show up at exactly two twenty, she took her time getting there. But when she stepped outside he was out there sitting on the front steps. "I'd move before the bell rings or you're going to be attacked by a stampede." Tegan warned him, nudging his back with her knee. Stepping down the stairs, she looked around for his car, "Hurry, my friends will see you and rush to say hello so you can talk to them with you accent." She rolled her eyes and pulled her phone out of her back pocket of the jeans she wore to check the time. Hearing the bell ring, Tegan heard her name being called out behind her, turning her head, Amanda and Daisy rushed towards her and Nicholas. "Tegan! Introduce us to your friend." Daisy smirked, "Yeah, he's cute." Amanda added, "Goodbye Amanda and Daisy." She said, looking over at Nicholas, her eyes begging for him to unlock the car doors.

He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, "beg your pardon?" He asked, standing up and shoving his phone back into his pocket. Tegan explained and with a face that read nothing but 'oh s**t' he unlocked the passenger side door and started to make his way around the car. Although it was definitely flattering, he was far from interested in high school girls; the man was twenty five years old. He was just about to duck into the car when the two girls ran up and started complimenting him.
"That's very flattering, ladies, but we don't have time for introductions," he said hastily with a friendly smile, and finally ducked into the car. "Why??" They asked in distraught, looking in through Tegan's half open window. All Nicholas did was zoom off before rolling up her window. Making a slow stop at the second set of red lights, the man exhaled a sigh and rested his elbow on the open window, rubbing a hand through his untamed hair. "Your brunette friend -- was that Daisy or Amanda?" He asked out of curiosity, and partially because he thought she was nice to look at. He sure as hell wouldn't have a problem with Tegan bringing her over.

♡ Getting into the passenger seat when Nicholas got in, her friends stared at her though the window that was half open. "I'll see you two tomorrow." Tegan told them as the tinted window rolled the rest of the way with a devilish smile, getting buckled as Nicholas sped out of the high schools parking lot. "Thanks." She thanked him, laying her head back on the head rest. Turning towards him when he spoke, "Daisy., Tegan answered, pulling her sweatshirt off so she was left with her grey t-shirt on. "Why?" She asked, as the light turned green and the older male took off.
Getting to her house, Tegan walked up the two steps to the front door and unlocked it with her key and headed towards the kitchen. Taking her backpack off and setting it down at the bar, she went to the pantry to grab a granola bar to hold her over until dinner. Sitting down at the bar, she pulled some of her homework out so she could get it over with for the day.

]x ▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R EThey were soon walking through the door and Nicholas slipped off his shoes and hung his car keys on the hook. Retrieving his laptop from his bag, along with the charger, he then headed into the kitchen shortly after Tegan had made herself comfortable and sat down with her. His email that was cut short had been saved to drafts and he accessed it from there, briefly glancing up at the blonde after he did so. She was currently working on some school work and he smirked softly to himself, "for someone that loathes school so much, you sure are putting your nose to the grindstone." He commented, eyebrows furrowing in concentration as he once again read out the response he'd gotten.
Once that was done, he logged out of his account and shut the laptop before getting up and walking into the kitchen area. "Is Daisy a senior like you?" The Englishman asked casually, grabbing one of the few shiny red apples from the fruit bowl on the counter. Nicholas circled around the counter once more and leaned back against the marble surface, folding one arm across his chest and taking a bite out of his apple. Daisy certainly didn't look her age, in his eyes at least. She looked around twenty - but then again as did most teenage girls nowadays.

♡ Opening her backpack up, Tegan grabbed two of the binders along with two text books, she had anatomy and math homework along with some reading for english. Starting out with math, she opened the heavy text book and a spiral notebook to start the handful of questions to do. Glancing over at Nicholas for a couple of seconds, Tegan nodded her head, agreeing with him as she went back to her math work. "I hate school so much but, I want to get into a good university so I have to deal with it." She told him, while writing down her work.
As Nicholas moved away from next to her, she focused on her work so she could get it done sooner. "No, shes younger, a junior." Tegan answered his question about Daisy, not taking her eyes away from her homework. She did think about the questions Nicholas was asking her so many questions about Daisy. "Wait, She started, setting her pencil down and opening her granola bar, "What's with all the questions about Daisy?" She asked, taking a bite from it, watching him take a bite out of the apple he grabbed from the large fruit bowl. Resting her elbow on the counter, she set her chin on her fist, admiring that Nicholas went and got contacts like she recommended. Without the glasses, more of his features were noticeable, made Tegan make him a little more.

]x ▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R E"Really?" He asked, half surprised at her answer. Good thing he thought to ask. "Jail bait, that one," he said lowly, taking another crisp bite out of his apple. Absently, the male turned his head to gaze out the window and admired what a beautiful day it was. It wasn't quite swimming pool weather, though he most definitely wouldn't hesitate to jump in the hot tub later on.
Nicholas looked back at Tegan when she spoke up and shrugged his shoulders at her question. "I was just being curious is all," he said with a smile, deciding to go on over and see what kind of homework she was working on. "Grade 12 calculus and vectors," he said once he got a look at her textbook, sounding exceedingly impressed. He pulled up a chair next to the girl and sat down. "Tough course. Are you looking to get into computer science? Architecture?" He knew that certain medical schools required the course as well, although it was very rare.

♡ Opening up her notes to her math homework, Tegan was already annoyed with her calculus work. "You think she's cute don't you." She said, keeping her eyes on her homework, she knew that was why Nicholas kept asking questions about Daisy. Everyone thought she was hot, she was the one who got any guy she wanted, she was good at flirting and gave it up to anyone she thought was cute. Tegan on the other hand, was horrible at flirting and wasn't into having sex with random people, she was a virgin and had only kissed a small handful of guys, now counting Nicholas. "If you got to know her, you wouldn't like her so try not to stay interested." She added, shrugging her shoulders. "I don't know what I want to do yet, maybe a anesthesiologist, lawyer, orthodontist, I can't decide." She answered truthfully, "It looks good on applications though, or so I've heard." Finishing the small amount of homework, she neatly put the papers back into the binder and putting it back into her backpack, switching to her anatomy binder and book.
"You know anything about anatomy?" She asked, grabbing a packet of homework she had to do tonight, "I've been struggling lately, my grades a B minus and I'm going to lose my top ten spot if I don't get it up." Tegan told him, and searched for the correct page in her text book to help her with the homework.

She was taking courses that she might not even need in the future and he thought that was commendable. "You're absolutely right. Universities are always searching for candidates that exceed their expectations," he said, propping his head up with his fist as he eyed the next batch of homework she pulled out of her school bag.
Once she turned to the correct page in her text book, Nicholas furrowed his eyebrows slightly in concentration and turned the book towards him a little more. "Anatomy isn't compulsory for any of the careers you just listed out for me," he pointed out, not to be a smartass, just to inform. "It's a myth propagated to scare incoming first years. The only topic I found remotely useful before medical school was physiology," he said honestly. "Which would be ideal if you were to become an anesthesiologist or an orthodontist. I don't know much about law school, though."

♡ Finishing her granola bar, Tegan sighed quietly and stared at her text book while Nicholas spoke. "It's high school, complete bullshit, they don't tell you anything about college and then you graduate." It was annoying and the girl could not stand high school, she couldn't wait to graduate in a few short months. Laying her head down on the open textbook, she shrugged her shoulders again. "It's too late to transfer out of the class anyways." Tegan groaned, turning her head towards Nicholas. "Were you in med school?" She curiously asked, she had no idea what he did for work other then babysitter. Tegan also wondered why he was a babysitter because he was so smart.
Looking down at her anatomy homework, at school today she learned most of the bones in the human body and she needed to memorize all 206 by Friday for the test. "This class is such bullshit, it makes me want to drop out and work at McDonald's for the rest of my life." She complained, how in the world was she supposed to remember 206 bones and where they belonged in four days?
