Yearning nodded in conformation of their choice then leaned forwards to shove her shoulder against the log with all the others. She grunted and strained to get it in position, her heart fluttering madly in her chest with her efforts. She really hoped this worked, the need to find those sacs like a jittery itch under her skin.

Pref List: Spyro, ori Decision: C Current HP: 08 / 10 Current Fireflies: 02 Freedom wasn't sure what to do. Judging the environment once more, she didn't really want to jump or climb back down, a s tempting as the options sounded. The berries that were conveniently grown there in such a place, well...they could be poisonous and she sure doesn't want to find out by consuming some of them no matter how much her stomach growled.
The eagle's cry gave her a clearer view of the situation. She sighed and walked over to a bunch of kin pushing a giant fallen tree log. It really seemed like the only plausible thing for her to do. She knew she was strong but that log was massive. There was no way she could push it on her own.
"I... will help too," she spoke out to the group of gathered kin who were already pushing the log with all that they got. It budged just a little, but it was being moved. Surely, eventually, they will get it. Freedom found a good spot for herself and pushed with the rest of them. Omg was it heavy...

Haunt was unsurprised that a fair amount of kin decided to be intelligent and gathered around to help push the log into place. Once everyone was ready, she took her place and pushed as hard as she could.

Freedom spotted an ash-grey doe and moved over just so she could have a spot to push too. It was weird, she felt weird, she didn't think she would walk over to this group and help push a giant log just so everyone can cross. What if it was a trap? A mistake? She blew air out of her mouth and shook her head. It was fine at first but now the pair of fireflies just got in her way circling around her head. She didn't want to squash them while pushing and blew at them once more. Hopefully they get the hint.

Guardian stepped up to the log amidst the other kin, and started to push against the log as hard as she could, hooves being pressed against the ground as hard as she could to have better leverage.

Please follow the dice-related instructions only for your choice. -- If you picked A, you find your way onto the ledge and onto the nearest tree. Well, okay - climbing trees with hooves isn't that safe, when they're as tall as these ones are. It's a bit of a balance game, but there actually happens to be a semi-safe pathway of large, sturdy branches between here and your goal. You'll have to travel one kin at a time, and there's a little bit more jumping ahead of you...but this is exactly what you're here for. You stumble ominously once or twice as you travel, but it's nothing you can't handle. Lose 1 HP and gain 3 fireflies. Also, divide your roll by three and take the remainder (if your roll is perfectly divisible by three, sorry! The remainder is 0 in this case.) - that many additional fireflies follow you along. -- If you picked B, you made a safe decision - although it takes you a long time, especially given that the way around the cliff is a lot longer than the direct path between the two locations, and it seems like no stray wildlife is interested in following you along your path. You lose 0 HP. If your roll was 10 or higher, you gain one firefly; otherwise, you gain zero. -- If you picked C, you've picked a hard task. But you're definitely up for it...or are you?
If you rolled 10 or higher, your group managed to work efficiently. The temporary bridge you created was sturdy and let you work quickly. Lose 2 HP from the strain of labor, but you'll find that you've amassed a small gathering of 6 fireflies who admire your teamwork. Otherwise, you either had bad coordination, or your group just lacked kin-power. Still, you manage to tag along on some other group's bridge. Lose 2 HP, but gain 2 firefly followers, who just seem the tiniest bit curious.
-- If you picked D, the berries are delicious. You munch on them contentedly for a while, but searching for more leads you to stumble into a hole you hadn't noticed before. You fall for a long, long while - and are spat out, bruised but unharmed, on a soft soil floor. Lose 5 HP from your fall.
On the other hand, though, you seem to be located in a cave full of small, bright lights - which you quickly realize are fireflies. They're stunning in such numbers. You collect at least 3 followers as you move through the tunnel, curious as to where you are. Divide your roll by 2 and round down to see how many additional followers you attract.
-- CHOICE TWO If you picked A, B, or C This slope is bleaker and rockier, and lacks the vegetation of the previous. Searching reveals no obvious nest - although there are a few cavern entrances. Where else could that bird roost? You head into the caverns, wandering down a long, narrow tunnel, until you make it to an atrium. There are a few other kin already standing around there, and four other tunnels out.
If you picked D You eventually come to a split path in your cave - there are at least four pathways, other than the one you just came through (the path behind you seems empty of fireflies, now). After a few minutes, other kin begin trickling in from the path opposite yours.
Everyone After conferring, you realize that two of the paths are definitely the wrong choices - but that leaves three more.
It's dark here, except for kimeti-glow and firefly-light, and no one seems to be able to actually communicate with their newfound companions: there's no way to illuminate any of the paths.
A) Down one path, you can definitely hear the rush of water, accompanied by a soft breeze. Whether that's at all relevant remains to be seen. Birds probably like air...but what if it's just another way out? B) The next path has a fragrant smell - something fresh, rather than damp or musty. Also unusual is the sound of a loud crash, which is audible after a minute or so spent listening, and repeats itself in the same interval. C) A large rock near the entrance has been marked with deep slashes from something incredibly sharp-clawed, in a way that definitely looks intentional. You don't think you hear or smell anything coming from this path at first, but then there's a faint whisper: your name? A lover's name? You think you know, and then you're not sure again. Maybe you misheard it - maybe it's the fatigue getting to you. D) You've been led here by fate. You'll pick by fate, too, deciding randomly.
You have until 1 AM PT (GMT - 8 ) on February 28, 2017 to post your reply. Please roll 1d20 with your post.

Pref List: ori, spyro Decision: C) A large rock near the entrance Current HP: 8/10 Current Fireflies: 6
Frogs Rule the River possibly should have considered backtracking, she hadn't realized exactly how tall the trees were here. Luckily the branches were sturdy and made a kind of path down, even if a bit chancy.
The group, most of them anyway, gather in a cavern and spend time discussing the tunnels out. Frogs isn't really sure how it's decided what tunnels are okay, and which are not an option. It's really too dark to see, and as far as she can tell no one took even a few steps down any of them.
Seeing a large scored rock near one entrance, Frogs makes her choice and starts down the tunnel.

Honeydew had been following the group blindly and ended up injuring herself in her haste. It didn't bother her as much as her sloppiness did, however. She would have to be better than that if she wanted to save the little ones!
She watched the other gathered kin with interest until a gentle smell tickled her nose. Her ears perked and she followed it until the first loud crash startled her. She thought about going back, but she was too curious to let the mystery be...

Pref List: ori, spyro Decision: C. Large clawed rock by enterance Current HP: 5/10 Current Fireflies: 5
Yearning was very tired out from moving the giant heavy log, but the uncoordinated group she was with finally managed to do it and had crossed over. She'd found the cave enterance, following it in until she discovered quite a few branching tunnels. Which one to go down? Obviously not the one she'd just come from... She stood around for a few moments studying the tunnels.
One sounded like it had water running in it, but that didn't sound like a good option. Why would that bird like creature take the sacs in only to possibly head back out? Another had a very sweet smell coming from it and she could already see another kin heading down it, but she didn't believe that the bird would smell that good. She only had two options left, but she could see some kin coming out of one of them now.
That left her with the one that had a really large rock by it. She trotted over to check it out. Were those claw marks on the rock? Hmmm birds had clawed feet... It must have headed this way! Yearning headed down the tunnel.

Beloved listened to the discussion as the group gathered, glancing down each tunnel silently. She didnt know anyone around her, so she pondered each choice, nodding occasionally to a wise word.
As several started down the claw marked tunnel, Beloved started to follow, but! Something about that whisper unnerved her, and she stopped. Deciding to venture first down the breezy tunnel, she carefully trotted away from the group.

Well she wasn't much help. Wings sighed as she watched the others pushing the log and she could just barely move the dirt under her hooves. Now though across the bridge, which she thanked the others for making.
After the whole group started talking about the next way to go, Wings listened to the tunnel with water. It seemed the safest to her, even if running water could carry her way.

That was perhaps a bit more difficult then expected but not life threatening so. Howlback was a bit scraped and tired but she was not deterred. She had been injured much worse in hunts, and small wounds those irritating were not a deterrent. Just made her more determined to get it done and go home.
She looked at the paths, debating before following the smell of something fresh and the sound of crashing. Water rushed down, so she ignored the first path and the large deep slashes of something sharp-claw seemed territorial warning. Not birds. Birds as much as she knew did not mark like that.

Swallows found himself drawn by a subtle whisper; something on the wind? While he'd been investigating the front of the cave, scenting it curiously, nuzzling some odd feeling marks on the rock and leaving the others to announce what was being seen, he caught the strangest sound. It was with pricked ears he chose to investigate, unable to help his curiosity.
