Weapon(s): Ember Celica and her robotic arm [x]. What used to be two gauntlets is now one, but now she is much more accustomed to her robotic arm and its many uses. She still primarily fights with her fists and fires bullets for her attacks. Generally, she keeps her gauntlet shrunk in its simpler bracelet form and her robotic limb covered with a sleeve. Don't worry, because either way, she's always armed and ready.
Dust Skill: Moderate skill with all dust, besides earth which she is not savvy with, but she doesn't typically use dust anyway
Semblance: The more hits she sustains, the stronger she gets. "Yang's Semblance lets her use the energy from every blow she takes to make herself more powerful; this seems to be a form of kinetic energy absorption, with Yang subsequently redirecting said energy against her opponent."

Strengths:
Strength: Yang is a powerhouse. The most offensive fighter on team RWBY, Yang's brawler style of fighting is rather beneficial.
Tenacity: Until Yang is knocked unconscious, she refuses to stop. Even if her aura gets depleted, Yang will rarely ever back down.
Connections: Through her many travels, Yang has gotten a decent amount of contacts under her belt. She always knows someone.
Adaptability: When told she was weak against kick-style fighting, Yang made the decision to broaden her knowledge of different techniques.
Extroverted: Her naturally "comfortable anywhere anytime" attitude helps her in uncomfortable situations. It really helps out on missions.

Weaknesses:
Ruby Rose: It is no mystery that Yang would lay down her life for her little sister. Ruby is Yang's world. That could be easily exploited.
Frustration: When Yang gets worked up, she tends to get messy. In her older age she's better about it, but her fiery attitude will never fade.
Unconsciousness: Getting knocked out completely negates her semblance and renders her unable to fight. She needs protection, then.
Deep Emotions: Yang feels her emotions very harshly. This can be troubling when those emotions are negative, like anger or sadness.
Fighting Style: Her brawler-style isn't necessarily effective against a lot of weapons. That's why she uses bullets, but she can't always rely on them.

❖ Yang has been described as the type who would teach someone to swim by pushing them into the water. Aging has not calmed her down; Yang is still a spitfire that has fire burning her heels. She's always looking for something to do, which is why she enjoys being a mentor and partial instructor at Beacon Academy, as well as going out on missions as a professional Huntress. She is brave and chivalrous, bold and confident, and she refuses to be beaten. There are cases where, in extreme times of stress, Yang will slip into a deep depression that leaves her bedridden and harsh. She gets mad at herself easily, but her confidence and pure grit won't let her stay down for long. For as hot-headed and fiery she is, Yang is just as caring and nurturing. Most notably towards her sister, but she has shown how blatantly she cares about Blake and Weiss, as well. She'd sooner lose sleep than see her friends suffer. Carefree, cheerful, and energetic, Yang brightens any room she walks in, be that with her smile or by punching someone's lights out.

History:
So I'm going to be brief to avoid any spoilers and to also give way to my laziness until we get to the recent history that I'll be making up.

❖ Yang Xiao Long was born to Raven Branwen and Taiyang Xiao Long, a happy little bundle of fiery joy. Somewhere along the line, Raven left, Tai and Summer got together and they birthed Yang's half-sister Ruby. Yang didn't know all of the in between parts for a long while, and she still hasn't really brought it up with Tai. He's more fragile than he seems and the last thing she wants is to dredge up old tales. She knew he loved Raven, and he loved Summer, but he loved Yang and Ruby too. That was good enough for her. Ruby and Yang grew up best friends and close sisters. Yang was always protective and affectionate with Ruby, trying to teach her to fight as well as making sure she played like a normal kid. Of course, Ruby liked to fight so most of the time the two were combined. Yang attended Signal Academy on her home island of Patch, then moved on to attend Beacon Academy to train to become a huntress. She fought in the Battle for Beacon, lost her arm and thus replaced it with a bionic one, and continues to fight with her teammates and alone for the sake of justice and adventure.

❖ Now, Yang is a professional huntress. She does solo missions more than anything, but she still enjoys doing team missions as RWBY. In her spare time, Yang offers her time at Beacon Academy as an instructor and special guest. Mostly, she leads sparring matches and combat classes, but sometimes she'll fill in for lecture-style classes. Admittedly, her lectures aren't as structured as others would approve, but she never cared what anyone thought before. Why start now? Besides, "the kids tooootally respond more to when the teacher relates to them. Maybe I wouldn't have fallen asleep so much if class was more interesting!" With her nurturing nature, teaching kids is a pride-boosting thing for Yang. Educating future hunters and huntresses, learning from her. Maybe that's why her dad and uncle did it, she would often muse. Besides teaching sometimes and doing missions, Yang likes to travel the continents and seek out her own adventures, see the world, and meet new people. it was why she became a huntress, after all, for the adventure and to ensure the world is a safe place.

Day-to-Day: Here. She hasn't changed her style much as she's grown up. What can she say? It looks good on her. If she wants something simpler, she wear this.

A pair of twin single hand bearded axes with viciously sharp edges on rune patterned steel heads. The axe hafts are polymer composite and metal. Long rifled barrels run the lengths of the hafts, muzzle terminating atop the axe heads, trigger and 6 shot cylinders near the bottom end of the axe hafts. When shifted, the twins become long barreled hand cannons( .45Caliber) with 6 rounds to each weapon before reload. Like most combination weapons, the trigger mechanism can be fired without shifting to full hand cannon form, at the cost of decreased accuracy at range.

Jarngreipr

Metal plated Leather gloves that are well grounded, providing protection from cold, heat and shock. Also very hard, making them excellent fisticuff weapons, since lets face it, Axe's can be thrown, and sometimes reloading just takes too long.

Semblance: Battle Fury

Energy is absorbed directly from his own Aura, boosting Lukas' strength, agility, and stamina, at the cost of being unable to defend himself with Aura. Extra Strong, Extra fast, and able to go for the long haul, this semblance is best used against large groups of less skilled fighters, rather than single targets, as the lack of Aura leaves him very vulnerable to damage, which in his frenzied state, he would likely ignore, accumulating more and more injuries until it was too late.

Personality:
❖ Many have described Lukas as Stoic and and Grim, an implacable fighter none wish to face. He is tight lipped, holding firm to the philosophy of " If you have nothing worth saying, Dont say it." Battle is his true calling, and when there is a fight to be had, a fire can almost be seen burning in his eyes. Growing up, His Uncles and Father taught him many lessons, the foremost being that Death is inevitable, so shrink not from conflict for fear of it. Instead use your acceptance of the fact to make the most good out of your life while it is yours. Because of this, he will unflinchingly stand against any and all comers. His acceptance of the fact of Death has given him a very morbid " Gallow's Humor". He is Loyal to those who take up arms at his side, and fierce in his loyalty. Brothers and sisters in arms are treated with deferential respect, regardless of age, sex, race, or nationality.

History:
❖ Born into a family proud of their service as generations of huntsmen and huntresses, Lukas was surrounded by the lifestyle his entire life. The day he learned to walk, his training began, in small steps. Safety around weaponry, how to properly hold various weapons, how to clean and maintain. As he grew older, his regimen grew harder, constant sparring, strength and endurance training, and live fire target practice. Lukas, like much of his family, showed great aptitude and passion for this kind of work, and in his free time while other young men would be off playing, He would be training, exercising, growing. His training made his body strong and agile, and his constant weapon practice with swords, spears, axes, pistols, rifles, hammers and the like, made him into a young master of arms.

A family Hunting trip in his early teens was his first true taste of combat. A large pack of Beowolves had been gathering in the forest near his family's property, and as huntsmen, they were asked to address it. Thinning the numbers was treated like a great game, there was boasting of previous kills, and new tactics or weapons, and it was a glorious family event.

The baying Grimm Charged, and met a hail of gunfire, arrows and spears, and then the two groups were locked in combat. Lukas, being the young inexperienced fighter was kept to the edges of the fray, where he engaged two smaller grimm, armed with an old sword of his father's. the fight was short, and intense for the young man. One of the Grimm managed to gouge a wicked wound in his cheek, starting below his right eye, and terminating at the jaw bone, but he put down both of his foes.

As the wound was being stitched up, His family congratulated him, and imparted the words of wisdom, " The scar shows that you came, you fought, and you survived, and none can doubt your bravery." Ever since, he has been proud of the jagged scar on his cheek, and every mark he earned afterward.

At his prep academy, a mandatory experience for his family before he attended Atlas Academy proper, he earned a few friends with his never say die attitude, and bravery at every lesson where they faced captured low level Grimm. He graduated from his Prep academy with less than perfect marks in academia, but his combat prowess was more than enough to earn him access to Atlas' famed academy, where he now attends.

Name: Svalrvænn Hildrhárr (Svalr meaning Cold. Vænn meaning Expected and Hopeful. Hildr meaning Valkyrie, Hárr meaning grey-haired in Old Norse. Collectively, she is the cold and expected valkyrie, or she is the valkyrie of hope. She isn't sure yet, either.)

Combat Type: Close-range slashing, long-range piercing.
Weapon(s): Herja: Forged by the armour her great grandmother, her personal hero and inspiration, once worn in the Great War 95 years ago. Herja is a spear made of dark blue metal, almost black or grey in colouration, with gold decoration of swirls along the blades edge, much like Hildr's armour. Near the spear's tip a long and narrow clip of dust is concealed, ready to power up her spear's attacks. The bottom tip of the spear has a smaller, more narrow blade off-centre to allow for the rifle barrel positioned at the bottom end. Hildr can fire this to propel her spear forwards for extra power. Herja can transform into sniper mode, the bottom blade bends 90 degrees and splits down it's middle to create a sight, whilst a superior, magnifying sight unfolds from further up the weapon where a trigger also unfolds. Herja's spear head folds together, completely protecting the long and narrow clip of dust that now folds in half to become more rectangular. The entire spear-head and clip then bends 90 degrees to become the ammo and shoulder-rest for the sniper. It's final form is dual-short sword, usually a last resort and close-combat only mode for Hildr.

(Design may be revised as I continue to draw and theorise how the weapon works, but the forms and usage will remain the same, mostly cosmetics that will change.)

Dust Skill:Hildr has two different rounds for Herja, Ice and Air.
Ice Dust allows her to freeze targets piece by piece, slowing them so that she might catch them. Her bullet become freezing, or the dust bullets are stored within the blade when not in gun mode to imbue the blade with freezing properties. Hildr has basic use of this dust at the moment.
Air Dust allows herja to help Hildr gain speed, but usually to allow her to attack her enemies from above, or to get around and leap like a great warrior. She rarely uses this in gun mode, however she often uses Air dust in spear or sword mode for manoeuvrability. Hildr has trained mostly with this dust to accompany her fighting style.

Semblance: Death Sense
Hildr has inherited this semblance as a hereditary ability of the Svalrvænn family, particularly the female side. Although not particularly useful in combat, she can sometimes sense death if somebody is in going to die nearby and very soon. She discovered this semblance as a child and lost somebody important. Since then she has wanted to train her semblance so that she can act on it more quickly. She firmly believes in destiny, like Pyrrha Nikos once did, and tries her hardest to change fate if someone she deems worthy of life is about to die.

Personality:
❖ Hildr is very kind, and usually confident and easy-going. But during times of extreme pressure her confidence can begin to dwindle. Without support from friends and/or family, however, she can quickly bring herself back up. She has very strong morals, and will do almost anything she can to see that she remains true to them, even if it means endangering herself. Hildr has her own reasons for why she fights, and sometimes it can knock her down, catching her off guard or giving her a random spark of defiance. She will often try to inspire others, or encourage them to make their own fate, but to never give up. She hates seeing people give up...

History:
❖ Hildr, or more properly named Svalrvænn Hildrhárr, comes from Atlas, living with her family that have always been in service to the Atlesian military. Her grandmother, however, wished she could be a huntress. Fóstra battled in the Great War 95 years ago, and after surviving it watched the construction of the Academies . In her personal diaries, she kept notes of how she wished she could have been a Huntress, and that the military life was beginning to inspire her less and less. All these messages of inspiration, of the power of a single person, of the power of choice, were what Svalrvænn grew up with. As a young child, she wished she could have met her grandmother, asked her what it was like, why she couldn't join the academy, why she was not allowed the choice she went on about all the time in her notes. But as Svalrvænn grew older and more mature, she read deeper into the handwriting that became difficult to read. Fóstra was too old to fight. After the Great War, her bones quickly became frail and her aura was less powerful than it used to be. Her only regret, was that she felt her Semblance was being wasted.

Svalrvænn took on the nickname of Hildr during her time of training with her mother, Kala. She too was in the Atlesian Military and fought valiantly during the Fall of Beacon when the communication towers went down, causing the people of Atlas to panic. It wasn't long after that Hildr was born and Beacon was rebuilt. Having had the inspiration of her grandmothers journal, she had always been inspired to join an academy to become a Huntress. But she didn't want to join Atlas Academy, instead she wanted to join Beacon and help it to further become what it used to be, besides. Most people that graduate Atlas Academy join the Atlesian Army... And she didn't want that.

Before leaving Atlas to attend Beacon, Hildr had great trouble honing her semblance, and was pressured by her father, Vindr, to learn it as to impress his equals and continue the family honour. Whilst her mother was more understanding, Vindr was not. One day (only a few months before Hildr left Atlas) there was a surprise attack by Grimm in one of the towns outside of the city, where the climate was harsh, and a snowstorm was said to have damaged the town's defences. Vindr and Kala were sent out to help the Atlesian army deal with the situation. Hildr went with them, against their will, and was horrified when she found an innocent young girl trapped in a collapsed building as a grimm attacked. The sudden shock caused her semblance to activate, and suddenly she could sense everyone's lives that were endanger, she could almost pinpoint their location, and very quickly she felt the pressure of the world on her shoulders. Overwhelmed, she fainted.

Hildr woke up back home, with both of her parents, after a day of rest. Hildr wanted to know first and foremost, was the child okay. But Kala hung her head, and Vindr sighed, turning to look out the window, shame obvious as he shook his head. Kala attempted to sooth Hildr, but the aspiring Huntress pulled away. "So many innocent lives... lost" she had said, tears swelling up in her eyes, "they had no choice... they had no... chance. If only I'd have done something." Vindr quickly suggested she joined Atlas, quickly, so that she might join the military and stop this from happening again. But Hildr didn't agree. If she joined the army, she would be told what to do and what not to do. She didn't want to have to wait for orders to save somebody, she wanted to go where she felt she was needed, when she wanted. She could remember, in her last moments before fainting, the sight of Atlesian soldiers and robots prioritising killing the enemy rather than saving the innocent. But Hildr wanted to be completely selfless, she would rather die to save another person's life.

Not long after she began preparing, she applied to Beacon Academy and soon began travelling south.

Weapon(s): "Guinevere & Galahad" ( the names of the Knight Lancelot's spouse and son, respectively ). Two short scythes that he dual wields. They're thicker than normal scythes; the ends are slightly extended to help protect his arms during battles. The ends of the hilts double as sawed off shotguns. He's modified the shotguns so they fire four rounds each. He has regular rounds, but also keeps a healthy stash of dust-filled bullets if he really wants to make a statement. His preferred dust-bullets are lightening ones; they make a big bang.

Semblance:
Density Manipulation: Sage has the ability to make himself or the things he touches lighter or heavier as he deems necessary. As a rather passive semblance, the effects of it can be long lasting. The heavier the item he's manipulating is, the less time his semblance is effective. For example: he uses this to make himself lighter so he can jump to great heights. Or, he makes himself heavier so he can jump down from said heights and slam into the ground. Due to his aura, he doesn't sustain damage when he does things like this, although he can knock himself unconscious if he gets too reckless which doesn't happen all too often. He can use it on other people, but it takes a lot more energy to manipulate someone else's density. For training purposes, he also uses his semblance to make his armor heavier.

Strengths:
Willpower: While Sage knows when its time to fight, he also knows when its time to restrain himself in lieu of survival, information, etc.
Light-Footed: Despite his steel-plated armor, his rather light on his feet. Years of hunting sort of trained him to walk and not be heard.
Foraging: Sage has great knowledge of vegetation and can spot a bird's nest from ten yards away; if there's something to find, he'll find it.
Strategical: His mind is sharp. He can look at a map he's never seen before and tell you the best, safest, shortest, or easiest paths to take.
Humble: He doesn't let his ego get in the way of things. Sage isn't the best at taking credit and will often let it fall to someone else entirely.

Weaknesses:
Self-Doubt: The easiest thing to do it doubt yourself, and it is something that plagues Sage. With a lack of ego comes a voice of doubt.
Reloading: Since his shotguns don't fire as many rounds as guns most Hunters/tresses use, having to reload can be a huge pain.
Tenderhearted: Sage would give the shirt on his back to someone who needs it. He believes that, as a knight, he owes his protection.
Semblance: When he has a large spike of emotion, his semblance activates, and it weighs him down into the ground or floats entire rooms.
Mechanical: He is the sort of guy that looks mean and unapproachable on the outside, but he's really the opposite. Its hinders teamwork.

❖ Sage is the kind of guy that has his ducks in a row. He knows who he is, he knows his capabilities, and he knows that he can always broaden those capabilities. At first glance, he seems unapproachable and cold, maybe even a little rude. Truth be told, Sage is a kindhearted, charitable person. He would sooner go hungry himself than watch another person miss a meal. He meditates often and practices deep breathing exorcises. He almost contradicts himself with his more modern practices versus his knightly appearance and upbringing. Chivalry was taught to him ever since he can remember. Helping others for no thanks, living freely, a common courtesy shared between all in his brotherhood. It just comes naturally to him. Underneath that hard, mean looking shell is a polite young man, hand over his heart, ready to serve any in need.

History:
❖ Sage, Sage's father, and his father before him, and centuries of relatives back down the Tempest bloodline, are all knights. They were raised on a code of ethics, morality, and ability. They called themselves a brotherhood. His family is not of nobility, but they have been around for a long time, countless "Tempest"s littering history books. Sage was practically taught how to sword fight before he went to any kind of schooling. For years, he trained directly under his father and grandfather, learning how to fight and learning how to honor their code. Charity, kindness, the ability to read any given situation, adaptation, all of this and much more was drilled into Sage. It all came to him naturally, though. He had always wanted to help people. He wanted to offer his services to make others' lives better. It was this natural affinity that propelled Sage up and up in the ranks. He was the youngest member to ever go hunting with the brotherhood, and it didn't take long for him to outshine even some of the older brothers.

❖ Sage's mother sat idly by while this happened, but bottling up her negative feelings so long caused them to explode. Honestly, Sage couldn't blame her. She felt as if she had lost her husband and her son to "a suicidal cause to get yourself killed by Grimm!" His mother decided to leaver his father because of the "dedication and obsession" with the brotherhood. She wanted Sage to join her and help run her merchant business. "Come be safe, don't be so hasty fight the Grimm and risk your life for others," but that was all Sage truly wanted. It was noble. It was the right thing to do. He had a natural affinity for fighting and had the urge to protect others. There was no way he could give this up. Unfortunately, he was only fourteen years old at the time and still very much attached to his mother. When he stated that he wanted to stay behind, she started crying and said she needed him. That was all it took. It struck a chord in him. It made his eyes well with tears and his heart tear in two. He couldn't say no to her. She asked for help and saying no would contradict everything he had been taught up until that point.

❖ Next thing he knew, one week later, they were on a boat leaving Atlas and heading to Vale. They were leaving behind everything they knew. He was giving it up. But was he? Or was he simply adhering to what he vowed to all those years ago? Helping his fellow humankind. The next few years seemed to flash by. They lived in the city, right in the busy district (it was close to where his mother opened her newest location). It didn't take long for his mother to remarry and don the name of a man besides his father. As much as he told himself not to blame her, that everyone had their reasons and everyone needed comfort, he just couldn't bring himself to accept it. A once boisterous, inspired young boy had been turned into a reserved, withdrawn young man. He spent his time attending combat school listlessly and creating a new set of weapons: Guinevere & Galahad.

❖ In the year leading up to his acceptance at Beacon, Sage's father sent a letter detailing his life, the death of his grandfather and uncle, and a few other things. By this point, Sage was aimless. By 16 years old, most people knew what they wanted to do. But in that letter, his father urged him to seek higher things, to not forget what he was taught, and to not get swept away by the gloom of the city. That lit a fire in Sage. He focused on doing well in his combat school so he could attend Beacon and gain some space from his mother and her new beau. It was easy working his way up the ranks, graduating top five in his class and easily making it through the Beacon's entrance exam.
