Zephyr was struggling with just keeping conscious enough to respond, his body shaking a bit as he clung on to what life he had left in him. Even with his soul as it was, he seemed intent on not dying yet. "N-no... I-I did not.." he whispered before he turned his head to one side and coughed roughly several times, his body shaking heavily after each.

Ree took a deep breath then slowly released it as Zeph confirmed he didn't transfer her soul. He should let it go, Zaku was working on someone who was completely out of it and used two of his artifacts. That should be proof enough that she was gone. Except there were still discrepancies... //are you hoping to find her? // // we might be// // even when we say we don't care// // ..... //

His attention turned to Zaku as he whimpered his eyes flickering between faint concern and worry. He moved toward him ignoring Zeph as he felt someone push him, his body didn't move but he felt it at his soul. Flaring out soul light in warning her turned to look at her. "Stop it. He is in a lot of pain...so are we all. " he growled in soft warning his eyes slitting, to her his soul looked even weaker than her own yet he still hurt her.

Ree turned back to Zaku and moved to support him. "Lets go" he said softly, trying to lead the muse out of the room. He could fly a little more before he had to rest and getting out of here was better than staying.

He shook his head, "I was hopeful.." was all he could manage. "..i tried.." he mumbled, eyes barely open, obvious too exhausted to exactly be coherent by now. "...wanted to do something good..." he continued to mutter under his breath. "..not lose more to them.." He felt Ree help him up and strained to get up at the movement. He nodded. "..we have to get back.." he forced out, barely audible. He was so out of it, he didn't even acknowledge Moira with words, only a small nod and kept moving.

Kailani furrowed her eyebrows, looking back down to Zephyr with worry but moved to Moira. "Nadorhuanrim." she hissed under her breath and watched the two leave.

Moira shook her head and sighed, "Well, we're trying our best.." settling back down next to the bed once the IV was hooked up to Zephyr, deciding to stay next to him until the pain killers kicked in and he settled back down into a slumber. She knew the pain of losing a limb, but three at once plus an eye was something else entirely.

//He's no.... not...//// .. no... not.... // He swallowed and picked him up once they were out of view of everyone else. The area was familiar, the memory of him and Kage accidentally flaring out their auras at each other came back at him with a heavy feeling as he rushed past barely casting a look around as he threw himself to the sky, using telekinesis to help him carry Zaku as he headed back toward Belrad..no Erast. Hoping the passing wind would help cool down the muse because heading to Aldas was out of the question.

Already his wings were protesting being back in the air so soon after arriving. He flew fast even if he wouldn't be able to continue this speed for long, keeping Zaku close as he focus his mind on anything else.

Hexxis killed herself... couldn't control herself. A command... someone else was in that room unless her previous command was to cut off his legs and arm then kill herself? but that didn't make much sense. No one went in ...but it didn't mean no one could have went in from a different way. Except there was no evidence that happened.

Shaking his head he flew fast, trying to get as far as he could before he needed to stop for a few hours.

Mise arrived at Sanctuary, a handful of hours ahead of what was legally possible. He wandered the nearly empty grounds, confused as to why it was so barren, before finding a map leading him to the medical wing.

Dragging himself through the doors he found Moira, Dagda, and Zephyr - and a exhausted look graced his face. "Hey there." he muttered, spotting and immediately moving to sit down next to Zephyr, taking his hand in his and allowing himself a moment of reprieve. "I owe you and yours no small favor." he smiled, turning his attention to Momo. "Thank you."

Mise chuckled, he imagined he must look like he had been dragged through hell as he briefly counted the hours since the last time he's slept - the last twenty or so were spent recklessly speeding, ontop of a already lengthy work shift ... no rest for the wicked, as they say.

He gave a small nod before muttering "Yeah, suppose a nap is in order, move over dear." and joining Zephyr on the bed. The state the man was in still didn't quite sink in - Mise had seen some gruesome things in his time, but he was always able to at least process the horror of what was going on around him - but here someone he felt compelled to protect sat missing more of his body then what he had left intact and he couldn't bring himself to believe it.

He closed his eyes, pulling what was left of the man to himself in a hug. "Excuse my behavior, regal lord shellington, but I have just arrived from a long trip and require some measure of sleep." he muttered, partly to Dagda, mostly to himself, and he promptly fell asleep next to Zephyr.
