Darkerdemons Pesty Elf omg, Dark....I just finished Brimstone!  What a coincidence! You know the exact book I'm talking about! What did you think of Brimstone? Apparently there's going to be a TV series based on the Pendergast books. Hoping it turns out well! I loved it. I want to read more of the Pendergast books, and anything else they may have co-authored. They'd make a very good TV show.

Apparently there's going to be a TV series based on the Pendergast books. Hoping it turns out well! I loved it. I want to read more of the Pendergast books, and anything else they may have co-authored. They'd make a very good TV show. Brimstone was the first book I read by Preston & Child and the book that I usually recommend it to readers not familiar with their books. The Cabinet of Curiosities is another of my favorites, but it is not for the squeamish. Preston & Child also co-wrote a series centered around Gideon Crew. Only read The Lost Island so far for that series. Not my favorite, but it is still well written.

I do plan on having a guild get together at some point but it will all be quite sociable and for members only so no need to worry about that sort of thing here. I have a bullying policy. If you have a bullying problem in the guild and we'll chat with you and the person and figure out where to go from there. I cheat. I write my stuff down because I stink at remembering pass words. lol We do have a page set up for quests so that should help you and others. We'll do our best to help everyone out. We also have a freebie forum and a shop page where members can open up shops in the guild with items at or below mp prices or trade items with other members. Plus, I try to run a variety of games with varying prizes that are yours to do with as you wish once you win them. Edit: Sorry. In case, you didn't catch it. Darkerdemons Hi! I'm Darkerdemons! Please call me Dark for short. biggrin I've been a member of Gaia since... (quickly checks profile) ... April 2006 - almost 11 years. Just came back from a several month hiatus though. I have one mule: Strigoii. I am a member of a few Booty Grab guilds and a couple newbie support guilds. Recieved an invitation for this guild and figured I would give the guild a try (not a staff member for this guild). Most of my time on Gaia is spent in the Booty Grab forums and occasionally in Lake Kindred. I enjoy participating in guild games, particularly avatar contests. My favourite colour is blue even though my avatars usually feature items that are black or red. I enjoy action and mystery movies, TV shows, and books. Currently enjoyed TV Series: Hannibal, Sherlock, Marvel's Daredevil A few of my favourite movies: Avatar, Brave, RED, Red Cliff A few of my favourite reads: books by Daniel Silva (The Secret Servant), books by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child (Brimstone), Covert-One series (several authors), Alex Rider series (Anthony Horowitz) My current household has fish (not really mine), but I plan to get a dog when I have my own place. I was introduced to Gaia by my children who started in 2007. I just came back from a long hiatus and my children are too busy now. I guess Booty Grab called my name and some friends I left behind! I really enjoy Booty Grab and hope it will become even more popular as it once was. I enjoy playing games but I'm kind of silent. I sneak in and play lol!

I usually have slow quiet winters, but this one has been super busy, so I'm not online as much. But I do enjoy a moment on Gaia when I can grab it, and checking in with friends. I used to enter the AvArena once in awhile on my other avi (smellpotatoes) but it's been awhile. Talk Like A Pirate day group entry was my big fave. And Chickunforgiven, omg we'll never be forgiven for that one. Anyway, I hope Lanzer will bring back the glory of old & the arenas will work again. I still collect pirate items & cool items generally - the weirder & funnier the better. Hello, edamomme and welcome to the Guild! biggrin You should check out Gumdrop Runway. Hello everyone and thanks for the invite. There are quite a few friendly folks in here that I recognize. Feels like I am at home already 4laugh
I joined Gaia back in January of 2008 (wow, 9 years). I went on a hiatus a couple years ago (before they introduced the animal avi) and returned last year about this time.
I'm pretty down to earth and easy to get along with. A little shy at first perhaps.
I heart love faeries and everything about the fae world.

Thank you, wolfy! I haven't seen The Strain, but I have heard of it. Strigoii's name used to be Darkerdemons2, but that name seemed rather boring. I was reading a book describing different variations of vampire folklore years ago and thought Strigoii would be a more unique name. I've only seen the first handful of episodes for Daredevil. A family member said the series is still good. Hoping to catch up eventually. (I don't have Netflix and our TV only has about 4 channels, which is pretty much all news, so I borrow DVDs from the city library). Hannibal is not for the squeamish. I think Anthony Hopkins in the movies is still my favorite portrayal of Hannibal; however, Mads Mikkelsen does a fabulous job in the TV series. I like Hugh Dancy's portrayal of Will Graham (TV) a bit more than Edward Norton's from Red Dragon, as he seems to give more life to Will's character. The TV series also uses some great effects to convey Will's empathetic abilities. If you like Sherlock and aren't squeamish, I think Hannibal should be up your ally as well.
