"Trying to subdue Murder Squad more than I already was would have caused a divide in the renegades that would have left hundreds dead for a unworthy cause. I was there to unite people, not tear them apart. I wish there was more I could have done." he sighed again, "Too many to count. There are anywhere from 50 to hundreds of metas in the cities alone. Safe houses sporadically spread out, you'd never expect which Metas you pass were renegades or not. Most of them living dual lives." he then ran a hand through his hair. "I don't know what they were planning... the fact that you had to tell me that I was being plotted against was jarring... I imagine, take over renegades, start a war with humans... a new war. With no mercy, just death."
Stormy hesitated, pushing away from DH suddenly and looking down at the ground with a deep frown. She was quiet before she finally nodded. "...I want to travel with Akash.. but I want to stay with you..." she muttered as though she were ashamed to say it. Looking away embarrassedly, she moved over to lay down again, shoving her face into the pillow as her electricity died down. "g-go away!!" she yelled into the pillow, muffling her voice then fell silent again.

Tri stared at him silently as his feathers smoothed down. Zaku, was acting differently from before, that was obvious from his second and last question, gone was the muse who was trying to convince him of the ideals of Renegades while ignoring the facts. There were talking normally and was as disturbing as when he allowed him to hide out in his room. A lack of connection with the rest of the Renegades, just he pointed out back then 7 years was a long time to be missing except he never expected steps to be taken so soon.
"Right.." he muttered, unable to fault his line of reasoning there. If he wasn't willing to use force to get rid of them then keeping them close seem to be the only way.
He went silent for a moment, Mara had to know... if Michael does good on his threat...
Shaking his head he almost ask where their base was before remembering they had safe houses all over, they could be anywhere. "I'm done" e muttered moving to get up.

DH looked surprised as stormy pulled away, her own expression turning sad as Stormy buried her head into the pillow. "... Stormy..." she said sadly as she watched her but didn't reach out to her. A quick look toward Akash showed him completely ignoring them as she stared back at her. "Hm... " she said nothing more as she got up. "I'll talk to them and see... in the mean time.. eat some of the cake if you want. It isn't that bad" she siad quietly, looking thoughtful as she turned to leave.

Zaku took a deep breath as Tri announded he was done and began to leave the room. He wasn't about to run after him this time either, at least knowing he was staying for a while. But there was one thing bugging him, a question that would not stop pressing his mind. "..wait.." he called out to Tri. "I just have one question..." he looked up to Tri, standing even with a look of somber confusion on his face as he tried to understand, "Why did you think I would confuse you for Rasiel? No one has known what he looks like now.. so it couldn't have been for looks like suggested. And I never acted with you like I would him or anybody that I would feel that way about before today. So tell me why you suggested I constantly confuse you and him." he inquired with a legitimate confusion in his voice.
DH called her name and she tensed up."L-leave me alone!!" she demanded before hesitating and listening to her. She looked up at DH briefly when she got up but made no moves to stop her. She stared at the mug and then nodded carefully at DH.

Tri stopped cold and glanced at Wizard who was only now getting up and clearing the other plates by taking them tot he kitchen.Looking back at Zaku he narrowed his eyes.
"Not -him-, I didn't know it was him. I did know it was someone." he said with a slight nod toward the door. " The hints? The desperation just now, inviting me to eat while you cooked when you had no reason to. The attempt to make a family with someone who has been trying to hunt you, still attempting it after realizing what you did to their original family." he clenched his hands into fist at the last one. " I never encouraged your attention one way or another. So it had to be be someone else" he said simply as if that was all there was.

DH didn't notice as she left the room, moving toward the living room where the others were but Tri's voice combined with Zaku made her pause. She would rather think about this first instead of just throwing what Stormy said at them, especially now. How she felt about it and how they were both pretty much lacking that Stormy needed to look for comfort outside of the two that should have been there for her...instead of treating her like someone else's child that they had to take care of.

"It was no one. But I can see why you'd think that." he commented calmly then gave an apathetic half-smile and a bit of a shrug. "I never meant to hurt you. And while you never encouraged my attention, I found my own reasons for what I do... Just as always. That's why they call me unpredictable, isn't it?" he gave a chuckle that just sounded a little sad than joking. "Anyway, thanks for staying.." he waved his hand a little and then moved into the kitchen to help Wizard clean up.

Tri stared after Zaku warily and looked down at the dessert cup. He shouldn't have eaten it no matter how much he liked it, never given him any clue on what he liked. Unpredictable was Zaku's attraction to him for what ever reason...this was...he wasn't sure what it was but Zaku was deluding himself. He needed to talk to Mara anyways, maybe he could sneak in questions about this and hope she wouldn't ask to much.
Getting up he went to find a place to set up until DH got back.
