xxxxxxxxAcademy Registryxxxxxxx Basic Information
Name: Deja Bealorus [Day-zhah Bell-ah-Roos] Nickname: Deja Role: Senior Electives: Photography Clubs & Sports: Music Club
Physical Information
Species: Gorgon Powers: She can turn people to stone with a single look. As long as it is directly in the eye. She wears sunglasses to protect those around her. She has two forms, mortal and gorgon. Her mortal form is an adaptation that has evolved through the lines of gorgons to make them appear mortal so they can mate and reproduce, while her gorgon form is her true form. In her gorgon form she has snakes for hair that are the same color as her natural hair, her tongue is forked and she has fangs. The lower half of her body is like that of a snake as well, scales covering much of her body and her legs fusing together in a long tail. Her strength is heightened when in her gorgon form.
Origins: Crete Gender: Female Sexual Orientation: Pansexual Age: Eighteen Birthday: April 23rd Height: 5'7" Weight: 128 lbs.
Personal Information
Personality: Flighty. She can be described as being crazy. She mutters and talks to herself, believes that imps steal all her shoes, and can sometimes speak in a coded, riddle form that only she understands. She doesn't stay focused on things for very long. There are moments of clarity, however, where she can focus better and can speak her mind. However, this seems to only happen during times where she really needs it. Stress can make her thoughts even more confusing.
Aside from that, she is a very kind girl. She often doesn't dislike someone outright unless they are rude toward her first. She doesn't like it when people are mean to anyone, and doesn't appreciate bullies in the slightest. She is gentle and will give someone whatever they needed, if they needed it. She trusts others easily, maybe too easily.
Bio: Deja was born in Crete. To the world, she was nothing more than a fantasy, a myth, nothing more than a monster from nightmares. But to her family, the gorgon sisters were heroes, and ancestors. Medusa was the only mortal one out of the three gorgon sisters. And she is celebrated as a hero, her story that of tragedy. It taught all gorgons born after that to be weary of men. Which means that gorgons mate for life.
It also meant that after many years, the two sisters that remained, Stheno and Euryale, were able to create their own children. And for a long time, gorgons thrived. That is where her father comes in. He was able to look past her mother's snake form and see her heart as it truly was. And they fell in love. And had Deja.
She is their only child. Her mother volunteered at schools, helping with the pre-school and kindergarten classes. Her father is a doctor, specialising in treating children that have been diagnosed with cancer. And even though she grew up in a household that was full of love, she discovered that not the entire world was the same. To the outside world, they were a normal family. The strange habit of mother and daughter wearing sunglasses was thought of as a rare genetic disorder affecting their eyes.
It became hard as she grew older, some teachers were less accepting of her wearing sunglasses during class. And it all came down to one incident. It was toward the end of her eighth grade year and she was sitting in class. It was a day that a substitute teacher had been brought in since her normal teacher had gone to have a baby. The substitute didn't understand that she had a 'special exception' due to underlying 'vision problems.' She had a doctor's note on her file, allowing her to wear her glasses during class. However, the woman didn't care to understand that and forcefully ripped the glasses off of her face after she refused to remove them. It took one shocked glance and the woman's fate was sealed.
Deja ran home right after that, before word got around. Her parents and her packed what they could and flew out of the country that day. They went to America, creating their new home on the east coast. It was only a few days that they had gotten settled when a letter arrived. Deja had been invited to a school that was made for people like her. A school where she could be safe, and where others could be safe. Though leaving her family made her sad, she was more than excited to start her new adventure her Freshman year at Lubchenko Academy.
The school was everything she could ever hope for. And during her years there, she met many different people and made different friends. She found herself feeling safe, though she missed her family much during the year. But, it seems that her senior year will be the most exciting year yet, and Deja cannot wait.
Hobbies: Photography, flower arranging, macrame. Likes: Candy, horses, warm weather, the beach. Dislikes: Bullies, the color yellow, cracks in the sidewalk, imps. Fears & Weaknesses: Demons, hurting people, being made fun of.
Off the Record
Secrets: She doesn't want people to know she killed someone when she was younger. Other: She has a large collection of sunglasses. She also has a teddy bear that she believes moves around whenever she is gone. Theme Music: Mad Hatter, Gasoline Username: Norse Princess

xxxxxxxxAcademy Registryxxxxxxx Basic Information
Name: Faye Estrella Eldϋr (F-ey Es-tr-ella Elle-derr) Nickname: Sunspot Role: Student: Senior Elective: Creative Writing Clubs & Sports: Martial Arts. Gymnastics. Culinary Club Taste-tester.
Physical Information
Species: Sun Dragon (Hybrid of Fire and Light) Powers: Faye can shift into a full-size dragon. In that form, she is coated in golden scales, gleaming with a red hue; impenetrable except to the claws and teeth of other dragons. She can breathe fire and plasma beams, the reward of two separate crystals of power in her throat. She also has the ability to emit a blinding light from within herself. While in her true form, she can also communicate through touch, her thoughts echoing in the minds of others.
Whilst Faye is in her human form, a secondary crystal is active in her throat, allowing her to breathe plasma. She can also glow and puts off serious amounts of heat depending on her moods. Her sense of smell is unrivaled down the slightest of changes and most faint of aromas.
There is a mid-shift stage that Faye also possesses. In this stage, she grows an extra two feet in height. Her body is covered in gold scales and her hair forms horns, crowning her head. Her legs and feet become that of her dragon form. The nails of her hands thicken and curl into lethal talons, roughly three inches in length. A thick, nine-foot long, scaly tail forms and the main crystal in her throat forms, allowing both forms of her breathing abilities. Light and heat both waft from her body, blinding and scalding at the same time.
Origins: Iceland Gender: Female Sexual Orientation: Pansexual Age: 18 Birthday: August 16 Height: 5 feet, 6 inches Weight: One-hundred and Twenty-two pounds
Personal Information
Personality: Faye is an all-in-all sweetheart. She sees the good in everyone. However, she is also quite naïve. The best description of her personality would be that she is like staring into the sun; bright and warm, yet glaring and painful at the same time. As a member of the Fire Dragon blood, her temper is... appalling to ignite. As it should be. The Light Dragon blood in her veins keeps her peaceful for the most part, though once she has been enraged, that there's the end of the line. She is nearly impossible to calm down, usually requiring her brother or mother to soothe her.
Faye is a playful spirit. She loves to have fun and finds joy in spending time with her friends. Among the Dragon-kin, she would play with other youth and find herself spitting fire and nuzzling scales and the occasional feather. In the human form that she has taken on to remain at the school, she finds herself a bit lost. The humans and small creatures that she walks with are so sensitive and find her random touches unwelcome. She sometimes finds herself unable to commune with others who are so avoidant to touch. It breaks her heart in a way... Touch means so much to her and her kind. To think that she might have to live without it while at the school...
Bio: Faye is the third born child of Mikill Eldür and Beleza Luz. Her siblings, Salvaxe and Vivir have a great difference in age from each other and her. Salvaxe is the oldest, roughly eight hundred years in age. Then Vivir is just recently cresting over three hundred years himself. Faye is an adult in terms of a human timeline, having turned eighteen with the last few months. As dragons, it is rare that they are the only children of their parents, born as individuals and not lain in a clutch if eggs. Though their singular birthing was not an accident or some thrice run tragedy. It was planned this way.
After the age of sixteen, dragons gain a human form, to better hide themselves among the modern masses. This form allows for conception just as their true forms do. However, with the elongated lifespan of dragons, many would think that they would over populate the earth. That is untrue. The reproductive system of a dragon does not fully awaken until after two-handed years of living. Likewise, their procreative instruments slow down and come to halt after a few thousand years. It is not certain as to when dragons stopping producing, only that no one has heard of a dragon still having children after three-thousand. Usually, a dragon will be able to have two to three clutches consisting of roughly three to five eggs. The rarer clutch having up to eight eggs.
Knowing this, the Eldür children were planned one at a time. Mikill, as any dragon, knew of the Original Mother, the dragon that spawned all dragons. She was of all the different elements and was their mother; the unifying pillar of all dragon kind. She had vanished near the dawn of time. Only the oldest of dragons, ones long asleep, knew of what her face looked liked. And she is who Mikill is trying to bring back. Legend spoke of the way to return her to existence. The unity of four children.
"When the Sun and the Storm and the Cave merge, the Mother shall return."
The Cave. Born of a union between a dragon of darkness and a dragon of earth. The Storm. Born of a union between a dragon of wind and a dragon of water. The Sun. Born of a union between a dragon of fire and a dragon of light.
Faye is the Sun. The only one in existence. She has already been betrothed to a Storm. Not in nearly ten millennia has dragon kind been so close to the Mother. Faye’s children with her promised mate will hopefully produce a Solar Storm. That child will the be promised to a Cave. However a Cave has not yet been born, though the clans are trying for one. In Faye’s case, it was a miracle that the Storm she has been promised to was a male. Things were working out and it would be her job to assist in this mission when she reached breeding maturity.
Though there are few in the clans that do not wish to see her bear children. There have been attempts on the small sunspot… Though her family, her parents and siblings, are not to be trifled with. They have each fought in the name of their sweet girl. The fighting has been kept from her as much as possible, but she knows that she is not the most favorable being amongst the clans. And if the threats to her life weren’t enough, she still had the normal problems of youth. Though perhaps not the same problem as more humanoid creatures.
Alas, she has survived thus far and has arrived at the Academy in hopes of growing in strength and patience. She has had her ups and downs since moving to the campus, but she hopes to graduate with little to no issue.
Hobbies: Eating. Faye is almost always eating. Likes: Over-sized sweaters. Spicy food. Fruit. Tart food. Books. Laying in the sun. Poetry. Cuddling. Touching. Being touched by others. Dislikes: Sweets. Bitter food. Cold places. Overly damp places. Rain. Fears & Weaknesses: Complete darkness. Being fully submerged in water.
Off the Record
Secrets: Twice a month, Faye gets a craving for human flesh. Other: Faye has a sun shaped birthmark, a few shades lighter than her skin, at the base of her neck. It marks her as a Sun Dragon. She has permanantly enlarged canine teeth on both her upper and lower jaws. Her irises are red with gold flecks sprinkled around the pupil; they can glow depending on her mood. xxxxxxxxAcademy Registryxxxxxxx Basic Information
Name: Melody Martinez (Mel-uh-dee Mar-teen-ez) Nickname: Mel Role: Senior Elective: Art Clubs & Sports: N/A
Physical Information
Species: Celtic Fox Powers:
Species Related - Mel is able to transform into a fox and switch between forms at will. As a humanoid, she still maintains her fox senses such as better hearing, smell, agility, and flexibility. As a fox, however, she gains the ability to communicate with animals.
Art Summoning - A unique power she has it to bring her own artwork right out of its canvas. She is still mastering this, but it is a relatively simple power. Whatever she draws will be pulled out as it is, and only summoned artwork can be put back into another service as it is in reality. The intended weight of an object comes into effect as it takes form and she will need to be able to pull it out on her own. She is able to draw an item smaller than scale, but it will be brought out full size and risks breaking its homepage in the process. In this case, she will be forced to return the summoned item in a bigger surface to capture all of it. If it is able to be pulled out within its frame, she can return it to the same place in its same drawn size. The biggest limitation she has in this is the fact that she is unable to create life. Fruit comes out as wax, people come out as plastic toys, and animals come out stuffed. Currently, another setback is that she needs to have extensive knowledge of whatever she wishes to summon. Origins: Manhattan, New York Gender: Female Sexual Orientation: Straight Age: 17 Birthday: April 16th Height: 5' 5" Weight: 135 lbs
Personal Information
Personality: Mel is a moody fox, but is currently struggling to figure out if that is her true nature. From a young age, she had been kind and loyal to those closest to her, but grew up into something much more aggressive. She still knows how to relax and have a good laugh, and is very much in touch with her own emotions. Though, she is trying very hard to understand what all of those emotions are. The transition from wild fox, to house fox, to gang fox, and now school fox, has caused her to be confused by her own personality and is unsure which is really her and which is her survival mode.
Bio: Melody had the unfortunate beginning as the runt of her litter. At that time, she was just a nameless fox, struggling for her mother to accept her and catch up on hunts when she was old enough. She watched her siblings learn to hunt, but was further alienated from the pack as time went on. Eventually, her mother and siblings left their den without her and never returned. She relied on the local wildlife to pity her and assist her in hunting techniques and basic survival. It wasn't ideal, but hey, she lived. The worst part was when she woke up, five years later, sporting human limbs, no fur, but her tail and ears intact.
The animals didn't have any advice for her then, or at least couldn't tell her in a way she could understand. She found her way to the city and dug through the trash for scraps to get her by. She was found by a winged man one night, who was the only other creature remotely close to her combination. She trusted him, and he took care of her. He referred to her as 'Melody' after hearing her hum the sounds she heard in the alleyways, and brought her food every day. Hot food with different smells and tastes than she had experienced before. He gave her a twig that created marks on surfaces, and this strange item became their only way to talk. She soon discovered another crazy fact about her existence: she could pull things out of those surfaces. Terrell, the winged human, assured her that they will figure out how she could do that and what else she could do with that.
Winter came and she was still struggling to revert back into her fox form to stay warm. She wondered if that was going to be the last of her time spent with Terrell, but he surprised her with a trip to his home. Admittedly, she was nervous about being rejected by the mother of a different species, much like her own, but was welcomed with a smile and hot bath. With her new family, Melody learned how to speak, read, and write well enough to communicate with them. Somewhere during this time, she figured out how to shift back into a fox, and the achievement was celebrated with a party. Her family life was perfect, and she hoped that nothing would change it. But fate had some sort of agenda against her, and their mother got sick.
Mel was eight years old when mom started to have coughing fits. Terrell was out of the apartment more often and returned in the middle of the night with money that he refused to confess the origins of. He smelled like tobacco and gunpowder, so she worried for her brother as well. She heard Terrell talking on the phone outside to strangers, bargaining the price of medicine and swearing at them when they bumped it up since the last call. Mom was undocumented, which meant they needed extra money to bribe the doctors into silence for her medicine. Mel had a bitter feeling that it didn't matter how much money Terrell got, they weren't going to afford to save her. After several months, the two sat with their mother to hear her last words before she slipped away from their lives.
There was no funeral, no memorial, nothing but a note and anonymous phone call to report the discovery of a dead body. Terrell took Mel by the hand, bundled in baggy clothes and a hat to hide her animal traits, and flew over the cityscape to their new home: the Blood Shooters. She heard about these people in hushed whispers between neighbors. They were a gang that were so dangerous that they were rumored to get high off the blood of their enemies. She didn't have an initiation into the gang, and was assumed to be a guest until she went on their runs regularly and became a valuable member. Terrell wasn't happy about this adjustment in her behavior, and they had fights about it for months until he was old enough to rent an apartment and try to pull her out of her third life.
After finding a place for himself, Melody was being dragged to courthouses and hearings in regards to her citizenship and guardianship. Terrell was trying to adopt her so he could take care of her properly and hope to get the proper support from the government to do so. She was fine with all of this when it was just signing papers and showing up to places once a month. But instead of leaving their ties on paper, he did everything he could to physically drag her away from the gang life she clung to desperately.
Terrell finally bested her, and managed to fly her all the way to the midwest so she could get a 5th start at life at Lubchenko.
Hobbies: - Drawing - Being in the presence of friends - Listening to showtunes and musical soundtracks (guilty pleasure). Likes: - Copic Markers - Catnip - Non-American Accents Dislikes: - Overly peppy people - Other people insulting Terrell - Dairy Fears & Weaknesses: - Losing all her notebooks. - Heroin -- She recently got clean and hopes to stay that way. - Sudden Physical contact - Her gang Boss
Off the Record
Secrets: She was raped by Boss when she was thirteen, but never thought of it that way. He manipulated her and threatened her to consent in order to protect her brother. Because of their many fights, Melody didn't think she could tell Terrell for fear of being hit with some 'I told you so,' or other dismissive statements. Instead, she turned the gang's supply of heroin to numb her physical pain and help her cope with the trauma.
Other: As a way to cope with her cravings for heroin, Melody has fallen victim to her sweet tooth and is constantly grabbing small candies and treats to keep her going throughout the day. Even as a human, she can make fox vocalizations, but most of them are kind of embarrassing to her and she would rather not. Theme Music: "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten "Hard Times" by Paramore Username: Naturana
