How she managed to avoid the wisps she wasn't sure, but Juniper pulled away just in time to avoid the jellyfish like tendrils of one that drew to close for comfort. Thankfully it seemed Temperance made it out of the swarm, but Juniper want quote due how the other girl faired.
Turning to Shun, Juniper tooled her head slightly, l. "If it wasn't for the crazy stuff we've seen, I'd think you were nuts or pulling some sort of sick prank." She looked back to the theatre where done of the others had begun to enter and get tickets.
"So how the hell do wet get back to our reality?" She questioned as she made her way into the theatre to join the others. With slight hesitation, she followed suit and pulled a ticket from the ones printed out. "I feel like Iam in some sort of fun house. "

Al frowned at the mannequin. He frowned at the group as they queued themselves and began trudging into the theater. He frowned again when the blonde woman announced that she was going to brave that weird crowd of wisp creatures. He watched her disappear, then turned back towards the theater. The entire situation was disorientating. It was wrong. He wondered if he'd managed to somehow fall asleep after loading the clock onto his truck, or perhaps even that had been apart of the dream turned noghtmare he now found himself in. The rain felt like ice on his bare arms. He hugged himself, made a grumpy noise, then followed the rest of the group inside. Better to go with the majority, he figured. Hopefully that woman could take care of herself. She seemed confident enough. As confident as one could be in a situation as ******** as this one was, anyhow. The man that seemed to know the most said something about an alternate realm. That things were different and unpredictable. When Al saw the slashed mannequin's face, he found himself wishing his fingers were curled around a knife. Instead they were curled into fists at either side of him. Play along, the man said. Al huffed and grabbed a ticket from the till. Might as well.

Once it seems most of them have a ticket in their hands, the interior doors swing open. The carpet is plush, red and vibrant, and the smell of popcorn is heavy on the air. A concession stand is straight ahead and there is a line of motionless mannequins, each one dressed in a style of clothing not quite from this era. Popcorn is popping, visible behind the counter and one of the faceless mannequins frozen in motion of handling it. There are, to the right, an entire section of displayed coming soon posters. Past the area with the line is where a single mannequin stands, ready and waiting to take tickets before anyone is let into the theatre proper. Quote: 3 ~ 4 disorientation as well a headache that will quickly fade. temperance will be extremely groggy. It felt... heavy, she thought. She imagined them filling in the negative space of her body: the crooks of her arms, the hollow of her ears, her nostrils, the spaces between her toes. So heavy. It was like warm molasses, but without comfort. It felt like drowning. She tensed, trying to push her way through, but they warped, stretching out like rubber without tearing. Her fingers pressed into their jelly bodies and still, nothing. Temperance reached out her hand to take a ticket and walked down the line of mannequins. Then she paused, blinked. She felt like she'd just awoken from an ill-fated afternoon nap. A headache throbbed along her temples - what had she been doing? It... it didn't matter. She was following everyone into the theater. "What do you think we'll be shown?" Temperance said to no one in particular, feleing as if she were moving in a daze. Her eyes glazed over the surrounds. It was funny; she didn't really remember entering the theater... She proferred her ticket to the lonely mannequin and absently patted his cheek.

"We need to find some place where we can cross back over. It is easier said than done, unfortunately."Really. He had only been here one other time, and Jeremiah had been the one to find the way out. Shun eventually did take a ticket, begrudgingly. He cautiously made his way in, looking around, alert. His gaze wandered over to the coming soon posters. Maybe he he could get some idea of what the hell this place wanted them to see.

As Shun approaches the coming soon posters, he notices that there are cardboard cut outs and posters. It is not just movies but plays and shows as well. Except - oddly enough - if he tried to stare at any of them for any length of time his eyes would start to water. Only a couple of them were readily clear. One was a dark forest, a bloody foot visible in the foreground. Emblazoned across it was was the title DARK FOREST. Another was a set of men in dark robes, eyes glowing red from under their robes. This one was titled BLACKFRIARS. There was a full moon in the background, the silouette of a wolf visible against it. The rest were could not be seen, though one had masquerade masks along the edges of it and glittered strangely. All others were slashed up, as if someone with claws had tried to tear them down but not finished the job. The mannequin who took tickets tilted his head towards the cheek pat. Temperance was given the uncanny feeling of more than one set of eyes watching her and, in fact, several of the mannequins had turned to look at her. A hand was held up, palm towards the ceiling but the other hand was held up to stop her. It was not quite time yet but he would take her ticket. Shun didn't really want to take the time to stand there staring at the posters to read the text correctly, but the imagery spoke plenty. The first one had that damn bloody foot within a forest. It was slightly reminiscence of the second vision he had seen.
The other one he could really look at wasn't quite as obvious, though it also wasn't too hard to guess what it might be referring to. The men in dark robes was a little ambiguous, but the full moon with the wolf was enough for him to get the idea.
He tried to see the others, but they weren't whole enough to make heads or tails of things. That was unfortunate. If the first two dealt with Heliodora and Michael to some extent, there could have been something here to hint at what was to come. Maybe that was why the rest were gone. Masquerade masks, though. He was going to need to keep that in mind.

She was back, as though she'd never left. Al squinted at the blonde woman, very aware of her presence. Apparently, he wasn't the only one aware of it. The doors opened. Surprise, more mannequins. A group of them faced the blonde woman. Al edged away from her, away from them. He wasn't interested in being the first person to enter the showing room, either. He followed the man that had seemed, thus far, to be the most credible. He moved towards the posters, but he didn't say anything to the taller male. Instead, he leaned forward and grimaced at the wall of upcoming titles. A thought occurred to him. His ticket was still clenched tight in his grasp. Which movie were they going to see? He looked at his ticket.

Perhaps, not so surprisingly, the ticket was as blank as the faces of the mannequins in the theatre. There was an ornate outline but otherwise nothing there.

"Thank you, Charlie," she murmured and let her hand fall. She didn't want to turn around, but she did, er headache spiking up at the sudden stress. The mannequins had turned towards her, although they had not otherwise moved. Abruptly, she realized turning towards them meant her back was to Charlie. (It was easier when you named thing, she thought. Temperance never had any difficulty leaving named things behind, it wasn't that. Naming took away the fear of the unknown... sort of.) Since it had moved, though. "C-can you hear me? I'd say blink once for yes but that wouldn't work. Can you, uh, tilt your head if you can..." Temperance felt really ******** stupid talking to a mannequin.

There was no response this time, aside from fingers closing over the ticket and sliding it into the box next to him. His hand returned back to the same position it had been in and all the other mannequins continued to stare. The only difference was that half of the ticket was there, waiting for Temperance to take it back.

"Anything in specific we need to look for to find out way back?" She asked Shun as she joined the others through the doors that were now opened for them. It all seemed spot on. The place was a perfect replica of a theatre and did a good job of raising the excitement in Juniper. When was the last time she had stepped foot in a movie theatre? When was the last time I really had money to spare? Needless to say it had been awhile. The sight and smells of the theatre instantly put Juniper at ease despite the creepy line of mannequins. There really was nothing quite like the smell of fresh popped popcorn at a movie theatre. So caught up in the atmosphere, Juniper hurried towards the concession stand where the popcorn was located. She hurried right past the odd line of faceless mannequins to lean over the counter and glance behind to see if there actually was popcorn being made."Do you think there's something we can actually eat here?" Having just gotten off one hell of a double shift at work and now being thrust into some odd alternate reality, Juniper was hungry. Quite hungry. If the food was edible, why not? "I mean, who sees a movie without a bucket of popcorn or a box of candy?"

"I am not really certain if there is something we can see in particular. There may not be a way back within this theater itself, but we should still be vigilant, in case opportunity for us to get out of this building in the very least arises."
Get away from what was possibly the imminent danger first, then find a way home.
"I would avoid consuming anything from this place. It may be edible, but there is no telling what side effects the food here may cause."
It was possible that the food didn't come with any side effects at all. Shun had a fairly strong feeling that wasn't the case. He did have a fleeting thought that there had to be some form of safe sustenance here, if the teen trio lived in this place. But at the same time, he figured it was just as possible that they simply didn't need to eat. Who knew with this place.

There was popcorn popping in the machine and the smell permeated the entire area. Of course cutting in line meant that Juniper was treated to the heads of mannequins turning to stare at her. The feeling of eyes was now upon her, despite not being visible. An ominous weight would settle upon her briefly before the sound of something being slid across the counter made it fade. The mannequin that worked the register held a box under it's hand, some weird off brand of candy. It was clearly for her. Oh. It was also bland as hell should she eat it. There was that too. Not really satisfying at all.

Lily didn't care much for the theater, and cared even less for the horde of mannequins that greeted them all inside, their smooth motions leaving her ill at ease even as she took her ticket from the till. "Maybe it'll be a 3D showing or something," she murmured, but her attempt at humor felt stale on her tongue and did nothing to hide the wariness in her posture, the hesitance as she turned the ticket over in her hand. At least it was dry in here, she tried to tell herself, at least it wasn't cold, but any congeniality she tried to foster towards the theater began to wither the moment her eyes glossed over the movie posters. One in particular caught her eye, and she frowned, examining it closely. With a soft exhale, she put a hand on the Blackfriar's poster, and then out of reflex, examined her hands, just to make sure her fingernails hadn't become claws when she wasn't looking. She wanted to say something, to protest that no, Lucas hadn't hurt anyone, it shouldn't be a wolf on the moon, it was a wolverine-- --but these people weren't Pack, they wouldn't think to defend him. She knew the way they'd been looked at. With her mouth set in a grim line, she took her ticket to towards the usher mannequin, holding it out stiffly to be received as she gave Temperance a sidelong glance. "New friends of yours, Sailor V?"
