Ree landed and stepped away after putting put her down, watching her silently when she knelt on the ground with a look of disbelief which was nearly painful to observe.

Painful because she now had freedom that should have always been here and he was sure she would likely be heading back to that island in 25 days time.

Turning away for a bit , he gave her some privacy as he looked around for any signs of recent dwellings or footsteps. If he were them he would have had someone on this side to catch those that slipped through.

After a few minutes he turned back at her question and grimaced since it only reaffirmed what others have been telling him. "Reckless idiot would be what my father or grandmother would have said"he said quietly, glancing at where the collar had been then down to her legs as he reached under his shirt to pulled up the stone he gave her.

"Refresh me on the difference between a normal human and a Magi....because I think we both have some very different definitions" he gave her a stern look as he tossed the necklace back to her. He didn't regreat what he did but he didn't appreciate being lied too either, not that she had much reason to trust him.

Ree only had time for a flicker of confusion and suprise as she grabbed him and pulled him close. The cat moved out from under his hair and leaned forward hissing into her face as Ree grabbed her arm and tried to pull it away, eyes narrowing as he meet her challenging gaze but ignored it, staring back at her searchingly. After a few seconds he tried to push her back if he could, wings lifting in warning.

"You're Vina, I heard them call you that and you look like her. How many Vina's are there on the island?" his voice hardening slightly as he glare, wings still up as the cat looked at her too, tail lashing back and forth. Lies

Ree narrowed his eyes raising a telekinetic barrier around himself knowing how futile that was if she just set him on fire...adjusting the barrier to block air ...something else he needed to work on..one day.

Watching her try to rein her anger he wondered why he even cared and not just answered what she wanted, it wasn't as if he could easily wander that town again or wanted too.

Taking a breath he released it tiredly as the intent look faded to a faint look of apathy even as the puzzle still confused him. Was someone dressed as her? Was that Rika?

"I arrived yesterday on the island during the burning of a magi by the town's people." He said carefully watching her. " Seems she escaped and found her way into one of the warehouses where someone told me to stay until after the burning. I healed her a little but she told me to leave before the purple sky the next day and gave me that necklace for good luck. Saying she had an ace up her sleeve when I offered to take her off the island. Wanting to stay for another person and being afraid of some Lady car.....something. I left but it seemed no one was looking for her when I did, then I saw you ...and that other person mention Caramel again.... So..." He motioned to her and waited.

"You thought you could never forgive but...? There is any reason why you would forgive? Being a nice master is still a master." He motioned to the city behind him."if what your sister said is true Carmila attacked this city and enslaved the true races here..and you...a Magi, while also saying that burning them purifies them" his wing feathers ruffled and he shook his head looking angry as the cat turned black.

"She told me she was looking for someone name Rika. The reason she wouldn't leave and seemed pretty sure she would be taken to that ..Carmellia if she was caught. " he growled softly."There is a possibility she is still free .." The anger was there now as he looked to the island."Think if you were to return now what would you do? How would you hide for all that time then get across?" His gazed turned on her and narrowed.

Ree sighed but calming as she clarified it was her sister and not the one who enslaved her. Sighing he looked toward the island getting a little more intrested in what she was saying even if it was against his own better judgement.

"You can't return tonight. You'll only end up captured and right back where you started. If you burning down the town where not everyone is guilty for your predicament...it will just needlessly kill more people, many innocent."he muttered making a slight fave as he remembered the crowd and pushed it back as a last ditch effort.

" Carmella likely has a water nymph or meta's somewhere too. So your best course of action is to use those 25 days to plan and sneak back to the island during the beginning of the 10 days.Are there any communication with the island and mainland during the 25 days or is that cut too?" he asked with a frown as he thought, wings shifting slightly behind him but for the most part lowered to the ground to rest.

"Did you? Who knows..if the life of you and your people are in danger then you have to decide what to do as you escape, that could easily be an ace in the hole to burn the town. One you have to weigh .....never mind. That has nothing to do with here or now " he muttered looking away from the island to her.

"Five non-human. A fallen working in the general store, the still life, and who are the other three? Do you think they would be allies, enemies or unsure? " he put his hands in his pocket as he looked at her, his voice dull again as he realized that a city reduced down to a literal handful was..... Disgusting.

"I think I saw some of her forces. Well trained to walk silently and blend with shadow, mostly at night. What else? Let's assume she was taken by Camellia, what type of structure does she live in, her guards, any thing of intrest you think might help to get to your sister. Like is it stone or wood. " there was a pause and he frown. "Actually how did she fight the non-human's? If she had to fight against you to get you back, are you aware of what she might try?" He knew he was jumping around with his questions but trying to start making a plan as she seemed lost.

Ree nodded slowly 5 non-human and potential allies if they could get their collars off. He still had one of those things Tri made excatly for taking off collars in his pack but only had 4 uses before it either broke or had to have its batteries changed. Still it would save him from trying to teleport collars off again and it sounded like all the others were flyers other than for the feral, Rika and Vina....assuming they still had their wings.

"Well on the far end of things we might have a chance but ge-...." He stopped and frowned looking down at his pocket with a puzzled look. It sounded almost like a call was about to enter but he hadn't activated his phone yet. He kept it charged and ready to activate but he didn't want Mara or Tri tracking him right now.

"That's odd" he muttered reaching down to take his phone as Vina's soft gasp jerked his head up only to watch her move, blood trailing from her shoulder, before she suddenly fell.

"Sh**" he muttered quietly eyes wide with alarm as he slammed up a teleketic barrier around them both. Moving to pick her up he attempting to run toward the ruins as the cat raise its head and looked around for actively moving spirits, causing him to nearly trip once or twice.
