Nonito Nekata, aka Jakken the [False] Kuzunoha "Ho...huh? Get ready to witness the power of a true summoner elite!"
It might have come as a surprise to some to see the self-proclaimed Great Summoner, the wayward Nito Nekata, functioning at such a high level while fighting in tandem with his demons, but that would only be because that person didn't know the truth about the potential of the man in question. While it was common knowledge even among one of the Kuzunoha that Nito was perhaps the most talented hand-to-hand fighter that had ever come through the Village...or at least in recent memory...it was also just as common knowledge that he had a proclivity for only using a certain subset of demons that were not especially endeared with him. These feline devils were especially rebellious to those who would give them commands, even though Nito desired their companionship for reasons other than the considerable power that they held. And to Nito especially, for whatever reason, they were unusually violent...yet despite all the demons available to them in the compendium of allies they could recruit, negotiate with, and employ, this was the only subset that he preferred to fight alongside. It wasn't as though he disrespected or did not care for others, but only that this was the style he had chosen. And unfortunately for him, this style had lowered his ceiling as a summoner considerably. But if he were to ever fight in tandem with devils that were more amenable to listening to his demands, not attacking him at every turn, and bonding with him on and off the battlefield...
His potential was limitless.
And so he mowed through the huge swarm of demons with nary a moment's hesitation, plowing through the commander with the efficiency of a true professional and leaving him laying atop the building from which he now leaped, landing smoothly in the streets below in one effortless move. That horde was down now, and so were their commanders. He rolled his shoulder, flipping the magazine back open as he began to walk back towards the Yellow Dragon in anticipation of his pending challenge.

Nito suddenly stopped where he stood just outside of the club as the trivia answer came to him about the 1980s supergroup collaboration in which Lionel Richie and many of the other greatest names of the decade joined together to sing for some charitable cause or another he couldn't quite remember. But what he did know was a majority of the names that had taken part, and that the song he had previously been thinking of was definitely the 1990s Michael Jackson song, which was most certainly not featuring the musical stylings of the great Lionel Richie! He crossed his arms and smirked proudly, becoming rather certain at this point that there was no way he could possible screw up in the next trivia game against Johnny Preta! What were the odds that even that Preta would know every single performer in that supergroup? What were the odds that he even knew of the beautiful linguistic poetry of Lionel Richie?! He was done! Done! Nito smirked confidently as he burst through the door of the Yellow Dragon and pointed his finger across the bar, ready to challenge his foe to the duel that they had been waiting the whole night for!
...And the first thing that greeted his ears was the sound of 'We Are the World', in the dulcet tones of none other than Johnny Preta, karaoke'ing from the stage of the Yellow Dragon for a gathered crowd of Nekomata, Lilim, and even a Lilith?!

As the battle against the target died down, another horde of demons came out seeking to take revenge, and Kisa's army wasted no time at all in shutting their attack down. She was practically dripping in tokens for use with the Cathedral of Shadows now, and a sad smile crossed her face as she thought about her changed opinion on their value. She'd fought so hard to get them... and now, she didn't even care.

She came across another girl a moment later - a relatively serious young lady by the name of Chiaki who'd gotten caught up in this mess and was looking for some kind of resolution to it, same as her. Kisa took a few moments to give her directions, and some more to a boy named Isamu that was hanging out with Chiaki at the moment. Hopefully, that would be enough to help them...

As soon as the ambush was finished, a much larger horde came around the corner and rushed forward, trying to wear her down. By this point, she could only sigh and shake her head at the inability of these creatures to learn. It was very... sad. A few more demons were scattered as she finished clearing out the horde that had attacked her, and she nodded slightly as she thanked her demons for their effort. Most looked more amused than anything else, and they began to move forward in earnest.
