 KisaShortly after rescuing the two demons, Obelyn popped into the area for one more thing - the Candelabrums she possessed might be able to reveal some rather useful abilities over the course of this war, and she grinned slightly as she nodded and accepted his words on that. They were very interesting artifacts, and from everything she knew, she possessed more than any other... in fact, she wasn't sure anyone else had as many as two of them. She'd have to look into that later, though, as she was just a bit busy at the moment. She had a feeling the calm and quiet was a setup, but barely pieced it together in time. Though, unlike before, she stood her ground.
"Cai-Zhi! We're not losing here!" she called, tokens falling to the ground in sacrifice, as she and her demon released an onslaught of blows, giving the entities a fight for their lives...
One that Youmu emerged victorious in. She sighed, and sheathed her blade, looking at her demon's info.

KisaKisa's Preta was shot off of the ground a moment later, falling victim to an ambush - one that had also managed to down another boy nearby. Jack Frost took a few moments to scatter ice across her foes, even as Kisa reached down to pull the boy up. "C'mon, no time to lie around." she told him firmly. "Get somewhere safe." "Alright..Thanks." he called, thankfully seeing the area was..quiet. It was a scene to come back to, though...
"I hope Konpaku's okay." he thought out loud, starting out. It was a...worrying situation still, but at least he was back on his feet.

KisaFortunately, there was no followup lightning at the moment, and Kisa continued on a little more cautiously than before. The two demons with her were more than willing to keep fighting on her behalf, though, and worked together to quickly wipe out a group of demons that had been aiming to vandalize the local shrine. KisaBut in all seriousness, there were quite a lot of demons running rampant, and she could see more than a few fires burning throughout the city. This was a serious problem, and it was only getting worse as time continued to go by. She exhaled softly, then clenched a fist. Right, then. Nekura MyonmuThe brown haired senior paced around the area to find the girl..To no avail. He scowled and kicked the dirt....
Before coming face to face with another, powerful enemy.
"Well...s**t." he called, before the golden glint shone again. "You are an ugly ********, you know that?"
He wasn't entirely sure where the bloodlust had come from, but it felt..prominent. A surge of energy from a demon that resounded with him flowed through...And his movements were almost lighter than air. He soared, glided, and otherwise bashed at the enemy with punches and kicks...Forces of cutting wind tearing through the enemy. In the end, he was nearly covered in the demon's blood, as he wiped his eyes off.
"Ohhh..Too bad." he called, with a sinister cackle. "Looks like you're outta lives! Mehahahahaahah!"

KisaThe first sign of renewed conflict came from another demon associated with Hell - this time, though, it was fairly easy to bash it aside and continue on her way. It honestly hadn't been much of an encounter, and she bit her lower lip a bit as she continued on. "Konpaku'd probably think I was a psycho this way." he called, as he changed shirts with some...unfortunate victim. "And..I don't want to think of what Ellie would think."
He was still worried about her...But, he had no way of knowing where..or if she was even still alive. It was a worrying thought...but, one he shook away.
"No..I have to be strong. She's out there." he called before starting off, ready for action once more.

The demons were nearly relentless...and his own demon had sacrificed itself in order to keep him alive....But, he emerged victorious in the battle.

Amagai Genji, the Investigation Team's Gentle Fist
"...You see the surface, but my eyes see more..."Helping Nekura to his feet after his near-death experience, the cotton candy haired teen needed a moment to collect himself. Too much had happened in too short a time, and with the loss of his Pixie, he needed to really reconsider what was going on and how he was going to survive this nightmare. He accessed the Cathedral of Shadows and decided that the best path towards survival was to fuse a couple of his demons. Taking this anything less than seriously was only going to get him...and his allies...hurt. He brushed his hand over his hair and glanced at the retreating forms of Youmu and Nekura, hoping that he would see the two of them again before this thing ended...and that whatever this was would end, soon. He had a feeling that the longer it went on, the more likely people were to die. And so many had already died, just judging from the corpses that littered the area. He glanced down the road and saw a woman's corpse, already pecked near to the bone and still wrapped in the tattered blouse and skirt she had likely been wearing on her way to work...would that be the fate of all men? He hoped not...but nothing ever got better from standing still.
Genji sighed and looked the other way, hoping that he would soon see a crown of golden hair and those beautiful seagreen eyes that he had come to be so fond of. If he had survived, she had survived...he couldn't believe anything else at this point. They were two halves of a whole. If she was gone...he would know it. So she was out there. He simply needed to put one foot in front of the other and find her.Quote: 14 Tokens.

Minori Koroko  Minori opened her phone and saw not only that there was no signal and nothing was working...but that there was a strange app there. Somehow, the memory of it stirred a faint memory at the back of her mind, like deja vu. There was no time to think about it though... a can clanking at the end of the alleyway making her almost jump out of her skin. This was dangerous...she couldn't stay in the same place for long. And she needed to find Genji and the others.
A demon appeared from the alleyway...and another and another. Before she knew it, Minori was surrounded, and her body tensed. She had been careless... her mind elsewhere. She was worried about Genji...she hadn't noticed...
"Dammit..." She took a step back as the demons taunted her, her eyes frantically searching for anything that could pass as a weapon. The staff of a broom was the thing that resembled her spear the most...and the girl picked it up and put it in front of her, guarding. Mocking laughter was all she received... and the girl smirked. "Don't underestimate me!" A swift swing of the broom was enough to send a head flying... and the demons finally took her seriously.
