Round One Events:Heat Wave A dreadful heat blazes down across the land, scorching everything in its path. The air grows thick, the solar radiation heavy. Anyone out and about suffers from the unpleasantness of severe sunburn. Yet some individuals find themselves immune to the effects of sunburn. Some species have found that secreting a strong coat of thick oil across their fur actually helps to absorb the solar radiation, protecting their skin from harm. These individuals suffer less, and are more likely to survive through the hardships of life. These species quickly become more successful and start to dominate the land... although the others are still there. Those that lack the protective coating find their numbers are dwindling as they fail to survive through the harsh conditions. And, as a result, your genetic diversity decreases, so you cannot adapt as well to changes. Effects:-If you have 'Secretes Oil', you gain an extra mutation (up to 3 total) for the next round! -If you do not have 'Secretes Oil', you lose a mutation point next round (may only mutate once).
