"When you are alone, every night is date night.." Jaro laughed more than he normally would but that was mostly on account of the wine. Whatever the dramatic stickers were about, the bath and wine and meat and cheese tray had fixed. Or it was just the wine. "So what did he do? I hated his face by the way-" Which came out like a very loud whisper.

"Considering I can-" No, he just shook his head and did not continue that statement. Instead he continued to unbutton his shirt and shrug it off. There was still bandaging along his side, a dark red spot showing where he had started to bleed again. He stopped, shirt half off, and looked up wide-eyed at Jaro. Aodh went red - caught somewhere between an angry flush and that pink he always went when Jaro would do his thing - and then laughed. "Well. I think I broke his nose, so ... There's more reason to hate it now? I don't know." Aodh finished shrugging the shirt off. The blonde had something of a broken filter when it came to Jaro. Truth always came out even if it was embarrassing. "He grabbed my phone again because I was texting and figured out that it was you that I was texting and ..." He frowned as he was slowly peeling the bandaging off.

"Maybe you did him a favor." Jaro seemed to move a big sluggish, a bit sloppy for someone who did precision work with his hands on a daily basis. The first aid kit was rummaged through for antiseptic pads and tape and more bandage. He glanced up at mention of the snatched phone, a look of genuine surprise that someone would be ballsy enough (and wasn't him), and then looked much too pleased that it may have been his fault it fell apart. "He got what he deserved even for the phone snatch." Grinning. Lots of grinning. Should he not be? "Drink some wine you'll feel better. Works every time."

"He didn't think so." Aodh was watching Jaro, not quite used to seeing him like this. He had not really been around him that level of drunk on wine. The stitches were still in, scheduled to come out the following week. There were long, still angry looking scars along his side, and he had clearly popped one of the stitches. It was bleeding sluggishly but thankfully mostly closed up after all this time. "Pass me a glass and I will, since my side hurts like hell and I'm not going home for painkillers." Which was him avoiding really saying what had caused the punch for the moment. Except that he couldn't just- Aodhan wasn't like that. He would not punch someone just for taking his phone. "It wasn't just that, he ..." His face flushed again. "He said something too."

Jaro sort of clicked his tongue disapprovingly at the popped stitches and used one of the antiseptic pads to dab at it. Thankfully it wasn't bleeding very much at all. He leaned back, "Hold that there a sec-" Bobbling upwards and going to the kitchen to get an empty glass. Jaro poured Aodh a glass when he came back, passed it off, and fell ungracefully back onto the sofa. "So what did he say?" He took over tending to Aodh's side, tossing the antiseptic pad and fishing around for the bandage which he seemed to misplace but was actually sitting on.

Aodhan let out a hiss of breath at the dabbing of the pad. It stung but he managed to not laugh as much as he could have. "Alright ..." He held the pad against his skin, blinking as Jaro came back and offered him a glass. Aodh's eyes narrowed at it briefly before he reached with his other hand to take the glass. "Thanks." Which then Jaro got another look for the way that he ungracefully fell onto the couch and the wine sloshed in the glass. "He said - Jaro, it's under you -" His head tilting and eyes cutting towards where he had last seen the bandaging. That red was returning and he took a quick gulp of the wine. It went down a lot easier than he remembered wine doing. "He said," he started again, "a lot of not nice things about you and that he did want want-" There's another long drink of his glass instead of finishing.

"Well that's not odd-" Jaro snorted and rolled his eyes hearing about the 'not nice things' said about him, took a drink of his own wine, and at Aodh's insistance, lifted his butt to find the missing bandage under his loose robe. He didn't wear shirts if he could help it. Just robes around the house. While the blonde drank, and relayed his story, Jaro managed to finally apply and tape the bandage over the pulled stitch wound. "He didn't want?"

When the bandage back in place, the stitches covered back up, and the wine warm in his stomach - there was already a flush to his cheeks from it, he never drank much - he was reaching for his shirt to put back on. His fingers were tight around the fabric. "It was alright, he didn't want sloppy seconds anyway." Then his shirt was left off and Aodh holding his glass out for a refill. The red on his cheeks was worse now. It wasn't like he hadn't dealt with it before or that things had not been said just ... Now? Now it bothered him more than when he had been younger.

There was a shift in his expression, his smile getting sharper, possibly vindictive, but he was still smiling. There was sudden anger that Aodh was being dragged through the mud on account of him. He was comfortable with the questionable choices he'd made, the mistakes he'd piled up, and the lovers he'd taken and left behind. Aodh had nothing to do with any of those things. "Well, Aodh. Obviously I'm a huge whore.." He glanced around at the obvious lack of lovers right now, his voice deeply sarcastic, "You came here for the orgy right?"

Aodh was quiet and nodded. It had not bothered him so much when he had been a teenager but now it was just- He did not like it because he knew Jaro wasn't doing anything like that now. People did not know Jaro, much like they did not know him at all and thought they did. "Obviously," he replied, "because I'm the kind of person who loves a good orgy." There was a roll of his eyes. His face was still flushed, now with the wine, and he was holding the glass out still for a refill.

He took a long sip of his wine before putting all the first aid supplies back into the box and putting it aside. Jaro's legs swung up to the couch and his toes tucked just slightly under Aodh's thighs. The auburn haired man was a rare breed of man who would wear brightly colored silk pants and a matching robe as casual wear. "Oh how college has changed you," Jaro laughed, this time without the vindictive sarcasm, "Got your shirt off already and everything.."

Glass refilled, Aodh was even pinker at the comment. He shifted on the couch, the shirt across his lap, and finally realizing that Jaro was in his typical clothing. Which was never really much minus the fact that there was so much cloth everywhere. "College didn't change me that much," he said before he was taking another drink, "and how else am I supposed to change a bandage? It hurt to get the shirt off, I don't want to pull it anymore to put it back on."

Jaro just grinned and shoved lightly at the other's leg with his foot. "I'm not complaining. It's a good look on you." He lifted his glass like he was toasting him, "Might get you better dates." And he'd act like a s**t every time. Why? Not sure. He just- there was really no dealing with the possessive itch in him. It had now settled onto Aodh. It had of course been there when the other was still in high school, but now it was different. The blonde was an adult and his peer.. and he'd probably seen Jaro's best and worst and still hung around. "You want to watch something? Eat some meat?" He motioned to the tray in front of him (that he leaned to pluck from and dangle above his mouth before devouring it with a noise. The TV was off but he had a healthy DVR and pretty much every channel and app.

"I don't want dates." Aodh gave Jaro a look over his glass, cheeks flushed darker now. "I only went out with dumbass because he wouldn't leave me alone and ..." There was a sigh. "I was also a little high on painkillers." Still blushing whenever he swore too. Watching Jaro at the suggestions he laughed a little bit. "You really are a dragon, Jaro." With the house and the way that things were strewn around and food ... "A lazy, amazing dragon."

Jaro laughed again that the whole thing fell on the fact Aodh had been on painkillers. He did enjoy being called a dragon. It was a shame they weren't real, he wouldn't mind turning into a dragon man if that was an option.. what with were-beasts wandering around possibly. "SO what's that make you then? Dragons don't make many friends as far as I know. Don't they just kidnap princesses and fight knights?" He held up a finger, "But the treasure bit sounds ******** awesome."
