Bobby nodded, "I am glad there was still someone to care for you. I've seen many people orphaned and given no place to stay. Many times, I was tempted to take them home with me. My husband wouldn't have liked that, though."
"An experiment?" Her brows furrowed as that took effect. How dare they!? Aren't they already enough of an experiment? She wasn't entirely sure how much was entailed in 'experiment', but she could tell it wasn't good.

Amaya nodded with a sad frown, her tail twitching before she looked back over to the older woman.
"Anyway, I should go... the air conditioning is starting to get to me." She stood and deposited her tray in the proper place before walking slowly back over to Bobby, her movements looking dragged on due to the cold. Then she did something she hadn't done in months.
She embraced the pig-like woman.
"Thanks Bobby... and I'm sorry."
All her conversations with Bobby seemed to end that way. But before she could chide her or say anything, her tail had already vanished out the double doors to the cafeteria.

Bobby was still steaming a bit, what with her recent changes and then now this! It was almost all too much... but then Amaya had to leave. The woman almost physically drooped at the thought. She enjoyed Amaya's company, and sometimes almost felt like everything was normal when around the girl (despite their obvious physical appearances). Also, though, she was glad to see that the girl was leaving... for she didn't want to take out any anger on her friend.
Watching Amaya without a word, she returned the hug. As the iguana left, Bobby watched. She was still angry at the news.... and relieved that she was by herself. Looking down at her last dish, it was still piled high with food. She hadn't even touched it. Right now, she didn't want to.
In a fit of anger, Bobby lifted the tray and threw it. Normally, it wouldn't have hit the wall. But, with the woman's anger combined with the new mass of her arms... well, it had enough force. The food splattered with the larger pieces falling to the ground. The ceramic plate splintered then cracked loudly, twinkling to the floor like large drops of falling rain.
All the woman could do was stare at the destruction and mess. She should clean it up.... but now wasn't the time. Bobby got up and left, determined to not create anymore damage.... well, for now at least.
