Yesterday's winners are.....

Having markedly improved on his apple bobbing last night, Fellah decided to head over to the apple booth and go for another dunk. Every night he comes to bob for apples, it makes him wish he had thought ahead for setting up a booth. He would have to keep that in mind for next year.

"Well everything looks great, but I think I'm gonna try my luck with some of those seeds," he responded after taking a bite out of the golden apple. It was his little obsession, if he could plant every single different variety and sub-variety of crop on Alternia in his farm, he would.
"I bet you've got some really amazing apple seeds, since it seems to be your are of expertise," he complimented the little greenblood with a smile.



Once again tasting a mouthful of water at first, Fellah went down to sink his teeth in an apple. Not a golden one tonight, but still a victory in his book.
"You kids sure got a great booth here, makes me wanna set up one of my own next year," he said, this time after removing the apple from his mouth first.

Arniva walked over to the booth, .... begrudgingly. She could hear Mama Ook in the back of her head, drooling. Apples. FRUIT. WHY? Why was it always fruit? Fruit was not ******** mirthful at ALL, as far as she was concerned. She was ready to ignore the booth altogether, until she saw the type of prizes layed out for display. Eyeing the boobleheads and noisemakers, she put on her game face and walked over to the dunking booth, much like a sharkbeast trying to catch a defenseless lowblood. She emerged from being underwater, two apples hanging out of her mouth. Spitting them out, BLECH, she walked over to the prize claim, apple juice still running down her chin.

"One beautiful noisemaker.. for a beautiful troll. Right? RIGHT?"

"Hehe he's too busy helping me with my coffee shop!" Nucleo laughed as Valaon grumbled about Xavier. He didn't know how she knew the jadeblood but it was clear they had to be friends if they were running a booth together! He wondered how they'd met and decided to ask.

"How do you know Xavier? I met him after I fell off a cliff." The greenblood explained, figuring it'd be rude to ask her a question without giving his answer too.

Finally he'd made it. Sniffing the air, he took in the scent of apples and felt a little calmer. He'd been racing around all night and the tension in his body was not pleasant. Some might say he was overreacting but it was pretty hard to realize your first crush and then have it become impossible so quickly. Smiling to the trolls at the booth, he opted to first try and bob for some apples as one sounded pretty tasty at the moment. His first attempt he barely missed but he managed to snag one on the second. Wiping the water off his face, he leaned against the counter and took a breath.

"Hey Xavier. Any chance I can just hang out here for a little bit?" The boy asked, his tone sounded a bit glum. Scooting behind the counter, he didn't give the jadeblood a choice. Taking a deep breath he leaned into his knees and thought over what he wanted to say.

"I... There's someone I like." The boy confessed, wanting to just admit it to someone and get it over with. He clearly didn't know what to do about this and needed help.

"Problem is, she likes someone else." Fiddling with his shoes, the boy sulked, obviously feeling depressed. It was stupid to let himself get this hung up over it but how could he help it? She was so amazing and so out of reach. He was pretty sure that she'd think him too young for her and wanted someone closer to her maturity. He didn't know her that well but thought they'd started a spark and it was just a shame that he- he didn't know where he was going with this but it certainly wasn't her fault for liking someone else. That he was sure of. It just didn't make him feel any better.

"I wish I'd never figured it out. If I could just delete that momen-" The boy ranted and then paused. He could... if he wanted to. Should he? Then he could keep seeing her blissfully unaware and optimistic! All he had to do was go and absorb his clones and then memory would be scrambled beyond obliteration! It was that easy.

But it wasn't right.

It was selfish to erase that knowledge and keep putting Elidae in that position of having to deal with him when she had problems of her own. Groaning at this realization the boy spiraled further into sadness. It was getting close to the time that he really should get back to his booth but... he just couldn't bring himself to do it now that he'd told Elidae to show up again.

"What should I do?" He asked, wanting someone to help him.

"Hello Amonee!" Xavier called, waving in greeting to his friend. It warmed his pump biscuit to see the other. He hadn't managed to make it to his friends booth, and actually felt a pang of guilt. He vowed to fix that soon, he would make the time. "Good luck." He offered in a friendly manner. While working on doing a few tasks around the booth, Xavier stopped mid motion as he froze.

Xavier heard Amonee's cries for help. Almost as if on instinct the younger jadeblood was running for the other. Seeing as the other knocked over the apple vat, he merely bent down and checked on the other. His gloved palm touched the others shoulder, gently squeezing him when he cried. "Hey...it's okay." He soothed frowning as he leaned in to hug the other in a snug embrace. "Shhh." Xavier soothed the best he could, although he felt awkward in doing so. It was the thought that counted right?

"Yuh don't need to worry. We can get plenty more water, and it was starting to get cooler anyway." He smiled, handing the other boy a towel to help him dry off. He plopped the towel down on his hair and rustled it slightly to try and help him dry off. "I'll help you clean it up." He offered, quickly shuffling around to gather up the apples and plop them back in the now empty vat. "You're okay, right? That's more important." Xavier frowned a little, but was glad to see the other sniffle and pick out a shriektube. It would be alright he was sure!




Xavier peered up as a blueblood came by. She didn't look exactly friendly..but he still offered her a polite smile and nod of his head. He watched curiously as she made her attempt at the apple grab. Interestingly enough, she actually seemed to be one of the more determined trolls he'd watched in a long time. Her growling and snapping at the second apple was telling enough of her temper.

When the other troll came over and slammed down the apple, and stuck her hand out demanding what she wanted Xavier's head tilted. Looking lopsided with his 4 horns, the troll nodded them. "Of course, here!" He quickly passed her the item, not wanting to test her patiences.





Xavier greeted the yellowblood from the other day in kind, welcoming her back to their booth. When she introduced herself he realized they hadn't really exchanged names the other night. "I'm Xavier!" He retorted, nodding his head as the child's eyes lit up. "I actually do thank you!" Xavier politely indicated if it was alright to give one to his booth parenter Valaon as well.

Once the other troll was done playing, her passed along the other bobblehead as requested and offered a smile. "The apple farm they come from is pretty awesome I gotta say. I'm glad you are having a good time with the game!" He encouraged with a friendly nod.




Xavier cringed just a little bit as the troll spat out the apples. He leaned over and picked them up..gently rubbing one on his sleeve. As he addressed the highblood he worked on cutting up the apple to eat around where the teeth and saliva had been so it didn't go to waste.

For what it was worth he wasn't rude, as the other was of course a higherblood troll. It was a little frustrating to see her being so ornery about the apples, but to each his own he supposed. "Yuh.." He trailed off slightly not sure what they meant about beautiful. "Of course you got your mark right. So here you are." He passed along her prize, with a curt nod.




( CAUGHT UP. With that the booth is closed for new rolls towards tickets)
