End of Day 4!! Aconan smiled and waved at the now-familiar yellowblood as they shot. "See you're improving already!" Aconan's brow furrowed as she considered, and she shook her head at the Commander. "Sorry sir, I'm afraid I don't." And then, shockingly, he shut his eyes and hit the targets. Aconan's little face turned into an 'o' of awe, and she practically bounced up and down. "That was SO COOL!" But Kursha had already hurried off in pursuit of that yellowblooded lady. Huh, maybe they knew each other... Micillia +1 ticket for high score! Aconan grinned at the obvious enjoyment of Caiden to her handiwork. She KNEW they'd be a success! "Hey please don't damage the- EEP!" Diving out of the way with a yelp, Loupsus surging upwards with a threatening growl, Aconan surfaced with a distinctly displeased look. "Dad, sit down. I'm fine, he missed." Loupsus gave one last displeased huff at Sascha before resettling into the corner of the booth. "Mm. Here." Aconan shoved the keychain over the counter at him, sans a smile. KitsuneAura +1 ticket for High Score! Aconan smiled and waved as the excitable seadweller returned, and handed over the plush with a compliment - "You shoot like a pro, miss!" - it was always wise to be extra-polite with nobility, after all. Aconan smiled wider as Lorata obviously loved the plush, preening internally. Oh god it was the scary lady again! Aconan smiled nervously, but today she seemed to be in a better mood, and was much more pleasant. Aconan slid the necklace over it if was desired.

Sascha crept back up to the Gunnery Games booth. It wasn't like he'd been banned from the booth after nearling shooting its owner the other night. Technically. Hey, he even got a prize out of it. Granted, there may have been an unspoken agreement that if he got something he wouldn't come back. So much for that. Sascha approached the counter. He hesitated when picking up the gun, just to see if someone was going to stop him. Honestly he was more worried about the lusus than the troll, but he wasn't about to piss of someone who surrounded themselves with this many guns. Sascha loaded the pellet gun and aimed it at the targets. Swing and a miss--times four. Sascha managed to hit one of the targets, with the added luck of it being one of the correct targets. However he was too nervous to hit any of the others. The booth was filled with the dull "paff" sound of pellets hitting the back curtain. Sascha put the gun back down. Gently. While making sure Aconan saw him doing so. Score: +2

Quote: 86 (+2), 67 (+2), 87 (+2), 100 (+3), 69 (+2) 11 points He was still pissed at how Tevini had totally upstaged him here last time. Cerpin took hold of the toy gun and focused his entire being into the most important thing in the universe.
Winning.
"HraaaAAAAHHHH!" The boy let loose a crazed fury of fire upon the targets, managing to hit several correctly without harming the queen's targets. He looked like he was letting out some kind of stress as he did the activity, body tense and expression intense. Once he was finished, he wiped his brow and his demeanor reverted back to cocky and loose, with a grin. He reached and claimed his prize, an old military jacket. This ought to come in useful later at some point, he was sure of it. Military Jacket A plain black with fancy gold embellishments, it's very nice quality...though you do wonder where exactly she got it from, as it's not current military style.

Run-Away Nutbeast!Amidst the festivities, you notice a nutbeast scampering underfoot. To your absolute horror, you see her reaching for one of the pellet guns. Nutbeasts are not an usual sight by any means, but this one is dressed up with a shell-shaped backpack. It looks like it could be somebody’s pet. If you can catch it, maybe the owner will give you a reward! Rules:To capture Shelly the nutbeast, all you need to do is quote Green Minuet in this thread. Whoever quotes Green Minuet first succeeds in catching her. Anyone else is considered to have lost her in the scuffle. Once you have caught Shelly, you must post in Lutrin’s booth in order to return her and claim your reward. If you have not returned Shelly by the rollover, she is considered to have escaped! Both capture and return posts may be reserved but must be filled out by 12:00am PST in order to redeem your reward.

Pointing at the tiny critter, Elidae held eye contact with Shelly for a good three seconds before she tried to scurry away. "NO! I know its you who's been digging into my planter!" Sprinting after her, Elidae was in hot pursuit, zigzagging between the crowds of trolls as she scampered between their legs. Diving straight into a mound of snow, Elidae's gasp reached the creature just barely, her fingers clutching around her body. "Ah-HAH" Elidae held Shelly up in the air with triumph.

Score: 1 + 0 + 0 + 2 + 0 = 3 “Tch.” Kursha scowled, staring at the three pellets that had bounced off the back wall. There was no denying it. His encounter with Luxara the night before had left him rattled. The following scene with Odette certainly had not helped. He had his doubts about whether or not the Phoenix Initiative succumbed to the dangers of the swamps just north of Busthind, but the return of several of it's members confirmed his worst fears. The Phoenix Initiative was alive and doing well. Well enough to spend time screwing around at Bloodfest anyway. Kursha dropped the gun back down onto the counter in disgust. As he did however, he caught the eye of the young greenblood manning the booth. His eyes narrowed. Where had he seen her before? So many familiar faces were turning out to be former comrades in disguise. He was not about to let another slip by. “Hey, have we met?”

Quote: total: 14 points spending 10 for another military jacket if that's okay new total: 4 points Back again for more, Tevini began to feel nervous that maybe she'd start to be recognized if she came here too often. But at the same time she wanted to help the rebels and get more jackets. She didn't know how effective they'd be at disguises but hopefully they could get at least a one time use out of them. If nothing else she could use them for blankets back at their hive. Cerpin was doing his best to provide but they didn't have as much free reign to go out shopping and resupply as much as she wanted to. Nor the beetles. This time when she started firing, the girl lost her grip for a moment and the bullets flew out of proper aim. Oh no! Freaked out, she tried to calm herself and found it hard to continue. But she'd gotten enough points to claim another jacket so she did before heading out of there! ((If I am not allowed to claim more than one jacket let me know and I will change this post! I wasn't sure!))

Aconan straightened up almost instinctively as Commander Kursha approached her booth again, making sure to be very professional in her greeting as he aimed at the targets. Hm, he hadn't done so well today - certainly nothing as impressive as his closed eye shots yesterday! that had been so cool. Though in Aconan's opinion, pretty much everything Kursha did was cool. She might have been nursing a little hero-admiration. You know, just a small amount. Still, she was a little surprised when he asked the question. "Uh, kind of? Loupsus and I were in the tunnels with you when you were flushing out the rebels, and then we were at the party! Which um. Kind of turned into a murder investigation." Aconan tipped her head thoughtfully, hair tuft flopping as she did so, before smiling uncertainly at Kursha. "I think I know more about you that you know about me." Nodding more to herself then Kursha, Aconan continued. "Which makes sense because you're important and stuff."

Aconan eyed Sascha suspiciously, but he seemed to be more respectful of the stall today, so she smiled at him - if a little stiffly. Loupsus shifted his furry bulk in front of Aconan too. Obviously someone else had remembered Sascha as well. Still, when no shots went awry, the pair settled. Micillia +1 ticket for cute RP post! "Good try!" Aconan complimented the young troll, secretly finding the way he apologized to the militia for hitting them super cute. "A different size? It's nice to gift to allies." Aconan beamed broadly at the young troll who obviously had such strong relationships. What a lovely thing, to spend winnings on friends. Thankfully, Aconan was oblivious to the idea that it was rebel-aligned. (Claiming more than one jacket is absolutely fine if you have the points for it c: ) Wow, that was quite a change in demeanor. Aconan blinked a little suprised, but dug in the pile of jackets for a suitable size for the troll, making sure to build in some growing room.

Punkie said a prayer over the gun. It mostly had to do with words in the holy language that are not meant for children under 13's ears. After the prayer the child who herself was defnatly under 13 years of age adjusted the gun and aimed it at the small figurines. Wit each shot the juggalo yelled out a holy word, alarming trolls around her. Carver clapped his claws in approval as Punkie hit a few targets. The juggalo nodded and lowered the blessed weapon back onto its rightful place. Points: 5

Psykgi MenthaSince she had the time to do it, Psy figured she would try another shot at the target practice, pun intended. "Okay!" she said, stretching her arms before taking the gun into her hand and aiming. "Lets see how well I do..."PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW! Plonk plonk plonk plonk... "Oh!" she said, surprised, "Oh gosh, wow! I did great!" she squinted at the prizes, picking out a tooth bracelet. She wasn't into tooth jewlery but it would be interesting for a FLARP costume or something... Sascha's ego had finally recovered enough for him to act naturally at the Gunnery Games booth. Well, natural for a person of a normal energy level. Sascha was being relatively subdued for being Sascha. It ended up working in his favor as he was focused enough to accurately hit four of the five targets. "See? I'm getting way better at this." Sascha nodded in agreement with himself. He set the gun back on the counter. "In fact, over the course of this week, I've definitely earned enough points for, say... one of those sweet jackets..?"The source of his new-found chill was apparently an appeal for one of the prized military jackets behind the counter. He'd had his eye on them since night one. However his track record was telling him it would be better to make a grab for one quickly before he could fail at firearm safety again. Score: +8

Score: 2 + 1 + 2 + 0 + 0 = 5 “Oh my god.” Kursha clapped a hand to his forehead. The tension he had been feeling dissolved, as he burst out into laughter. “Of course!” he exclaimed. She was not another member of the Phoenix Initiative, come back to haunt him. She was on his side. “Nah, I'm not that important,” Kursha replied when he had recovered. Even though he played it humble, he secretly glowed. Even just the one off-hand remark had done wonders for his mood. “So, I guess you're a pretty staunch supporter of the military. I mean, not that I wouldn't have guessed...” He gestured lazily with one hand at the décor of the booth. “But the invitation pool was pretty small. I don't think I ever caught your name by the way.”
