Lt. Stibnite
If the appearance of Metallia had caused the young lieutenant to go into shock, this had all but stopped her heart. She had never met the General Queen before but the news post invasion of her status and whereabouts had not been good.
Now her sudden appearance had confirmed once more just how badly those invaders had hurt them.
That was until things began to happen. Magic was not new to Stibnite either. It couldn't be once you had faced a battle. But magic of this power. To see Metallia work...
Her jaw had fallen open.
And then with a turn of her head, everything changed.
There was no longer a General Queen before her...but a Queen in her own right. Slowly, and without much more than her own gut leading her, Stibnite felt herself dropping to her knee.
Head leaning forward and hand shifting from her hurt shoulder to over her own heart, she stole another glance at now Queen Laurelite. Her power, second only to that of the form behind her....
Stibnite did not need to question now. One thing was clearer to her now than ever before...this is where she belonged.

General LeuciteThe walk back had been long, and he had eyed Stibnite's wound with some concern, but had said nothing, he knew she would speak up if she really needed the help. Once they had arrived he stood near her, not too close, but close enough that if her wound did become too much for her he'd be able to step in and support her as needed. However, everything changed when Metallia appeared and the rite began. When the General-Queen... ascended - there was really no better word for it. Leucite dropped to his knee and bowed his head in reverent respect. The Saint had blessed them with a Queen. Once again he crossed himself, slowly, and murmuring a final amen. They had a path now. A course for victory. When he raised his head, his eyes shown with pride and energy. He could not wait to hear what their orders were to be from their new monarch.

BenitoiteThe words that their leader spoke had him sure it wasn't what he'd thought, same for the items though he figured remains could have been in that box. "No...no a greater youma..." He whispered, unsure of what was to happen now. He watched with baited breath as Metallia took on more of a human sort of form, a female form, and began some sort of ritual.
The fact she was proud of them - all of them didn't register with him. He had simply done as told, done as needed just as he had in that battle. He hadn't done anything beyond what should have been expected. What was it though which should have been done ages ago? What was going to happen and than the box opened and he felt it.
He had only seen her once, during a Christmas party, but he knew that feeling and paused as the breath left his lungs as he watched with wide eyes. Beryl...but she was gone. Why were the remains of her starseed here? A part of a great youma, and her starseeds and the other item he didn't know.
Watching his hand reached up to pet Katya's head as someone cloaked in shadows moved forward. It wasn't until he could really pin point the aura that he knew who it was - Laurelite. How was she? Last he knew she had a great youma land on her, he hadn't been able to help with the mess and chaos left behind from the invasion. He hadn't been down here since then till tonight. He'd been recovering and getting back up on his feet - literally.
Whatever was going to happen would surely be glorious with their General Queen involved. She would bring them glory and that was proven right after the show of color and energy, smoke and power was lifted and his slate eyes could take in the sight of a Queen - their queen. "Queen..." The word was breathed out before the General was dropping to the stone ground to bow. She had his respect and had since he'd met her. She had fought hard during the invasion, she had supported him when some had doubted him...when the wounds of his mistake with Bazzite were still fresh and raw. She had faith in him and provided him what he had needed.
His weapon was summoned and laid on the ground in front of him. Long and sharp at the end it was not nearly as decorative as her own deadly scythe. But his spear was hers to command, as was he. He felt more than saw Katya leave his shoulder and took note of her standing at his side with her head to the ground and front legs bent.
"Queen Laurelite." The words passed his lips like a whisper yet carried in the silence which seemed to have descended upon the room.

Lt. Arsenopyrite
He had managed to miss what had happened to most of the others in the room. Unfortunately the call had come at a time when he was taking an important test and while he felt pulled away he forced himself to stay for the test. How well he had done on it though was questionable because the voice was continually bothering him until he had managed to get away from the test and finally here.
Luckily he had run into general who had apparently been waiting for stragglers. After getting yelled at/lectured and punched in the stomach for "insubordinace" he had been teleported here, at what seemed to be when everyone was finally coming back from... wherever they had been. He would have assumed it was all over, but figured that since there had been someone waiting for others, that it was something too important to miss.
And so he saw the items being given, a form becoming almost solid it looked like, a woman coming out from the side, and then he had been blinded by the smoke until there emerged what looked to be an important figure. Taking a quick glance he realized he should be kneeling and did so with his head bowed down. He could feel the power coming off of the figure and was a bit intimidated, however he was still new to the Negaverse and so wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but knew he had to show his respect anyway.

General ObsidianHe'd been listening idly to Metallia's empty praise as the agents offered up the hard-won pieces she'd sought, staying close to Lt. Angelite as he observed the proceedings. Laurelite's appearance was a surprise, considering the grievousness of her error. Metallia clearly still saw use for her, though what that was, he couldn't even begin to fathom. It was the sudden, savage blossom of Chaos that caught his attention, and Obsidian's eyes narrowed for a fraction just before the disgraced General-Queen stepped into the pillar.
The smoke stung his eyes, but he did not close them. The air slowly cleared, and he knew what he saw before him, recognized the haughty stance and the false crown upon her head.
Ripples spread through their small group, some taking a knee or bowing their heads to graciously welcome their so-called queen. This? This was what they had ventured forth to claim? Another failed tool? Obsidian met Laurelite's stare boldly, refusing to take a knee or even dip his head in some semblance of deference to her. He merely watched her, unimpressed as he took her in from head to foot.
Pathetic. Metallia apparently didn't know what she wanted, much less of how to obtain it. She kept picking up broken, previously discarded toys, as though they would somehow spark something new and interesting if she cast them in a different light. Had she not brought Beryl forth once, only to strike her down with the hand of another of her missing General-Queens?
Well. Their all-powerful overlord had a new doll to dress up and tote about now. He'd be curious to see how long this one lasted.

Lace, Corrupt Guardian Cat
Tourmaline had taken more care of the kitten then she had ever expected and when she had to watch them go and face the trials, she had never felt more useless to them. Dia and Tourmaline and Seraphanite were such amazing people...and she was just a small kitten.
She stretched and crawled from where Tourmaline had dropped her. Her gaze lingered on the teal haired general queen who had originally corrupted her in, and her bright transformation into more power then the kitten ever felt.
As such, the kitten laid her head to the ground and then meowed.Skye Starrfyre Thank you for keeping her so long

Corrupt Valeria. She had come back to the castle with Ate and the cat she claimed was crazy. She'd kept by the other corrupt's side the whole time not wanting to get lost and nervous over the shadows of the youma around them. She hadn't been down to the rift, or elsewhere, much so the presence of all those youma lingering in the shadows bothered her, unnerved her, so she had kept near to the shorter corrupt senshi.
When they arrived in the castle she spotted Huntite near to the ashen blond General she'd met back during the invasion and motioned to Ate that they could head over there. "Helped me during the invasion. We can stand by them." She also knew there was another guardian cat there as the General seemed to have one of his own. Maybe the two cats would get along? It seemed like something big was going to happen as the darkness which made up their leader took on a more human, more solid, form after calling people forward with the precious items they'd been sent off to retrieve.
As she was making her way toward the group she stopped to see what was going on and that was when the General Queen stepped forward and into such darkness. What was she doing? Why was she stepping into that? It felt, not to mention looked, dangerous. It seemed that looks were just that - looks. As it didn't kill their General Queen but as she opened her eyes and the smoke and such cleared there stood a Queen. Watching as people bowed, as people whispered, she found herself automatically doing the same thing while questing pink eyes went up to Ate, wondering if she had expected this.

Corrupt Sailor Noctua
Noctua spies the blue haired girl (Chrysocolla) and fell silent. Strangers. She watched with pale blue eyes as the other girl drew closer. So Noctua was not the only charge under Cinnabar's command? She should have known but... something jealous curled around her throat none the less. Still, she did not outwardly shunt he new girl, merely watched her cautiously.
And then the show began.
Metallia spoke to them, speaking of things that Noctua didn't understand yet. Instruments that they had all risked their lives for rose into the air and waited. Waited for a host, it would seem. A woman that Noctua did not know stepped into view, injured and crippled, but willing none the less. She stepped into whatever energy the shapeless voice conjured and when the dust settled...
A Queen. If Cinnabar's power made Noctua fizzle and crack, then this woman's energy radiated off of her and hit Noctua like a gale force wind, obliterating her and scattering her to the corners of the earth. Noctua's breathing caught in her throat and everything was happening so fast. This place, teeming already with the energy that Noctua could bathe in, these trails which threatened to kill but only made her stronger, and not this. Noctua's knees turned to water and her weight crumbled to the ground. She pressed her forehead to the stones and muttered poetry and speeches, elegies and ballads, songs and epic stories, all shatters of whole things but sewn together in love and adoration for her queen.
This was Noctua's calling. This place and these people and Cinnabar and The Queen. Love was the thing that rattled around in Noctua's rib cage, beating against the bars like a frightened bird. Love was the sweetness that lingered long after the starseed had melted from her tongue. Love collected the pieces of her demolished self and restored her, brighter and newer than before.
"I love you," she whispered into the stones. "I love you. I love you. I love you."

Lieutenant DomeykiteDomeykite tried to smile but it was weak, and he felt himself leaning a bit too much into the older man than he really wanted. Trying to focus was hard, but the hush that fell over the room as Laurelite appeared had him looking up and doing his best to see through the cloudy haze over his eyes. By the time she put a foot into that pillar of smoke, he felt his heart in his throat. Or maybe it was just vomit. Before he knew what was happening, Aluminite had pulled him down - a motion that made him a little dizzy, but more comfortable once he could finally brace more of his body against the floor. He managed to loosen his arm around the torso of his companion so that there wasn't so much tension and kneeled more of his weight into the knee he braced against the hard stone. Letting his head drop was easy, though he had to resist the urge to shut his eyes. Instead he stared at the blurry pavers and the hazy lines that ran through them in his vision, trying not to think about what Laurelite meant now. His inner dialogue was mostly just a string of panicked obscenities, but at least he was bowing.

General OsumiliteThe blonde General grinned from ear to ear as the General-Queen advanced to Queen Laurelite. A longtime agent of the Negaverse, he remembered the days of Queen Beryl's rule fondly and her exit left a void in the group that was desperate to be filled. Alas, a true and corporeally formed leader has reemerged within the Negaverse to bring them to victory. He bowed his head to honor her. Super Sailor TyphonOn the other hand, the blue-haired corrupt had no idea who Beryl was - but this b***h? Oh, the power he felt radiating from her was unlike anything he had ever experienced. It was immense and it was glorious. "YAAAAS KWEEEEEEN," he shouted, unaware of just how apt that title was. He cheered from the crowd, applauding her high above his head. Of course, he needed to add: "AND DAMN GIRL, YOU GOT DEM LEGGGGGGSSSSSSSS!" A wolf-whistle followed.

Corrupt Eternal Chrysocolla
Metallia's appearance, her physicality -- that in and of itself had been suffocating. A lump in her throat, like she was choking on gold. But Queen Laurelite -- not General-Queen, not anymore, just simply Queen and a power she'd never felt anything like (and Laurelite was alive, Laurelite was more than alive, she was beautiful) -
Well.
She dropped to one knee. It was as reflexive as breathing. My queen.

Captain MoonstoneLike Obsidian, Moonstone had been through one other Beryl: Nealite. She had seen how well that went, knew the stories from Before, and once Laurelite emerged with her power-up, the Haida captain could not help but feel almost... betrayed. Disappointed, definitely. This is what we risked our lives for? Another incarnation of a woman that failed us twice ? Why does Metallia repurpose such a broken thing? Moonstone struggled to keep those emotions clear from her face especially as she stood near the front where any and all could view - where Metallia herself and the newly crowned Laurelite could see her dismay, her uncertainty at the wisdom inherent in taking one that had failed twice and giving them another chance. But it was not her place to determine these things. Metallia did as Metallia wished and they could but provide service. This is correct, it is what our Master has decided. Laurelite is our new Queen and we will serve for her glory as well.Because of her position, Moonstone bowed her head to their new Queen but did not kneel, nor was it certain that she would have even if her wounds allowed for it. Standing before Metallia and Laurelite, the captain had a sobering thought: they were down two General Kings, with this promotion. Would there be others raised to that lauded status? Perhaps Schörl, or Cinnabar? Obsidian, with his return, or Labyrinthite? She did not dare dream that she would get any further reward than Metallia's praise for doing her duty.

Lieutenant HuntiteHuntite had been rather quiet on the return trip, having spent the time thinking over the mission and how little he had ultimately contributed to it. He did end up shoving those thoughts aside when they all gathered back in the meeting hall and Metallia's could be felt. It was soon the only power the Lieutenant truly felt even though he could clearly see all of the other officers around, everyone else felt like they weren't really there under the power of their ruler. When Witherite spoke up he turned his head to see the other Lieutenant and have a half shrug, careful to not dislodge Katya. "I'm not sure to be honest, I believe I spotted the other General in the crowd on the return trip but beyond that I can't say." He said with a frown. Maybe he would take a look around once Metallia was finished with them to see if the other's were alright.
The words from Benitoite caught his attention and and raised an eyebrow. Is that what they were doing? He could admit to being curious as to if they were going to raise a Greater Youma and if so, what kind it would turn out to be. He had only seen one Greater Youma before now and that was the dragon youma during the invasion and he didn't know much about any others. When Katya started to move from his shoulders, he kept still so she would have an easier time returning to the General. He was about to ask Benitoite what had happened last time and what kind of youma it was when Metallia's energy changed to soothing and she said that she was proud of them.
Huntite felt a mix of happiness that they had all made Metallia proud and disappointment in himself for having only punched one youma once as his contribution. He didn't dwell on these though as their ruler started up a ceremony and instead of raising a Greater Youma, General Queen Laurelite was changed into Queen Laurelite. Excitement welled up inside of him as she was reveled and he dropped to his knees like the General and cat beside him. This change would surely mean that they invaders would be paying for their invasion soon. As preoccupied as he was with their new Queen, he missed Valeria nearby.

Captain Tourmaline Slowly the Captain had made her way through those gathered back towards her General. Despite the buzz and the shift in power towards the pillar, she paid little attention to it, routing all of her focus to keeping herself steady on her feet. When Tourmaline dropped to her knees it was not out of reverence, but once more out of exhaustion. This time she stayed there, content that she had made it close enough to General Labyrinthite for her actions to count as checking in. On the surface the young woman clad in black and pink seemed well enough; hair damp with strands that had worked their way out of her pony tail clinging to her forehead. She felt grimy and tired and if anyone were to ask her opinion on things currently she might snap at them out of sleepy irritation. Later on she might reflect on how impressive the whole ordeal was. She might think of how Sailor Dia had been the one to aide in drawing Laurelite out from under the remains of the youma that had left her to burn. She would possibly ponder whether or not that meant the newly named 'Queen' owed her friend... Later, though. Later, and not now.

General Jarosite
He returned unscathed, for the most part. The fall onto the giant beetle that subsequently been dusted, dropping him the remaining ten feet to the floor had jarred his joints enough that he was well aware of his left ankle and right hip. Super human strength aside, he was still human - and actually human not those abominations that were the half youma - and that came with some definite draw backs. Nothing a good soak and some ibprophan couldn't fix.
Metallia was... Metallia. This was his first time interacting with the semi-phenomenal cosmic being that was their supposed 'leader' and he mostly just... stayed silent. What else were you supposed to do when a semi-phenomenal cosmic being was speaking?
And rising a General-Queen to her full sovereignty?
The display impressed him, her scythe being a great point of interest, but that was the sum total of what struck out to him. He had not been present for the reign of Beryl; he surmissed that she'd been 'dead' some time before he'd been brought into the fold. Yet it seemed... odd to him. Why raise Laurelite? Why not one of their ranks? Why not someone who'd tested themselves and proven their worth? (Certainly not him, he'd be a terrible leader, but another general worthy of the post.)
This was not the first time Metallia had bade them to find a long lost tool to use in their war. The first of which was that dragon they took to the Surrounding... and lost. Several greater youma were pulled from the depths of the Rift as well, and they too fell. She thought so little of her own soldiers.
Ah, perhaps that was the problem, he concluded as his eyes tightened ever so slightly. It was not soldiers Metallia wanted.
She wanted puppets.
---
Haymitch
Unlike a brooding general somewhere out in the crowd, Haymitch was very excited about this whole thing. Not strictly the venturing into the cave thing, but that they had a whole new Queen! She was so shiny and pretty and a part of him wanted to cover her dress in fur because it could really use some fur. Wasn't she cold like that with the slit aaaaallll the way up? The little blue rose on her shoes caught his attention too and he tried very hard to not bat at them.
They were just so pretty and cute! And eye level with him.
The tiny kitten darted around the group and skidded to a stop in front of his new Queen. The return trip had been quiet and uneventful, which bored him dearly. Haymitch was already so behind on his mail route and he just wanted to go home, but apparently the crazy power lady wanted something else and well... that lead to their new Queen and a quest for objects to resurrect her. Or something. He really wasn't sure. It all sort of went over his head, to be honest and he just trotted around because why not. Besides, why question what the great Metallia did? Like this lady was their Queen, sure, but Metallia was Metallia. The big sort of important, everyone got their abilities from her, head of the Negaverse. Or entity at least.
Haymitch was very sure that Metallia was not human by any stretch of the imagination anymore, given that she seemed very ghostlike and more like living energy than a 'person'. At least he could see what their overlady looked like though! He wasn't sure that would happen, like ever. Not that he wanted to talk to a weird energy ghost on the regular! It just was nice to have a shape to go with the voice and, orders from on high? (That was something the old ladies at the post office would say sometimes 'from on high' after a particularly difficult customer. They also liked to go 'oh, bless your little heart' but it always sounded to Haymitch that no, they were not blessing their hearts, and that it wasn't actually the compliment the recipients always seemed to take it as.
HENYWAY~
The little flowers called to him to be batted at. He really, really wanted to. He would not.
Haymitch looked up at the new Queen and grinned as wide as his little mouth would let him, butt and tail waggling happily.
He would not bat at the little flowers, not when he was trying to say hi to their new Queen!
"I will fetch all your mail and deliver all your letters Queeny!" He looked at up her, almost but not quite jumping so she'd pay attention to him even more, and bounced a little. Which for Haymitch meant it looked like he was vibrating in front of her in excitement.
His paw twitched as he fought to keep himself from pouncing on her shoes. He. Would not. Pounce!
