She started out with a black silk dress, putting a bubble wrap skirt under it to really poof up the bottom. With some satin she hemmed and layered in some white and grey to give the dress depth. The juggalo also added a few small layers of white to make a fake "vest" look to the front without having to actually make a vest. Cutting the satin just so, she made it look like lace and really went to town on the sleeves, giving the dress an elegant look. Cutting the silk into strips she tied it around the doll's waist as lace and nodded as done. With several black jeweled buttons she finished up the dress and put it up for display.

Xionek Heronn
(Keionx Rutace)

It had been a while since Kei had last been at this booth, and to her delight, she could do... WHATEVER SHE WANTED. She picked up a seadweller doll and squinted at the materials, rubing her scarf thoughtfully. Gothic, hmm?

Kei was not familiar with the concept of GOTH, but she had read a few gothic adventures in her time. They were heroic. A little less grand, but heroic enough.

"Hmm..." She started with silk. Lots of silk. Pale white silk to start, draped over the doll in a carefully-sewn little gown. Rhinestones completed the look - on the dress, in the dolls hair, in their modest leather shoes. Fake fur gave her the hair she needed to style with, turning the short-haired seadweller into a long-haired beauty. A jeweled button became a ring, and a few careful dabs of paint became lipstick and dress accents.

Well, it was lovely, but was it gothic? Keionx looked at her dossied up model, turning it around in her hands. It wasn't that she didn't like clothes. She just rarely got to use that like. She'd never worn nice things growing up, and...

Oh!

There was an idea!

Gothic adventure, gothic horror - they had something in common. She added a feather to the top hat and, with a little grey paint, gave the seadweller a mysterious-looking pattern on their arm - a scar. Something strange, something gothic.

And elegant.

She entered it in, feeling all kinds of fulfilled for the moment...

Eyzaak heard someone talk about the theme being "gothic" today. Was that some sort of dark and mysterious spooky term for hipster? He wasn't so sure, but seeing the way everyone else decorated their dolls the boy pursed his lips. Crafting a cloak from the satin material, he began laying out what else he would need. He pictured a troll in a dashing jacket, which he made from the leather. The eye-makeup around the dolls eyes were painted black to give a sort of extra dramatic flair. Fishnet gloves were added as a wild card element when he happened to find some criss crossed fabric stripe he was able to salvage.

Once done, the morbid monstrosity looked ready for a night out at dark new-wave themed clubs. Eyzaak wasn't sure if that was right exactly, but it seemed to fit the theme. Especially when he finished up the look by adding a series of buckles and straps on the doll for an added cool effect layer.

The yellowblood was so fashionable. 'AUTUMN!!! AUTUMN ARE YOU HERE!??! WHERE ARE YOU AUTUMN!??!! RESPOND!!! AAAUTUMN!" The brownblood yelled. Then he turned half a degree and saw her. Somehow he missed her on his first sweep of the area. "Autumn!! Will you go cheer on my snail Prism?? With someone as amazing as YOU cheering him on i KNOW he can win!!"

Rollover!

"I'm back!" Amonee unveiled the challenge whiteboard with the next theme for any interested designers with a flourish. "A little tired so I'll be in the beanbags but let me know if you have any questions!"

NEW THEME: AMAZING HOBO
The special event has ended! Go back to rolling 4d20!

If drawing a sketch is easier, please feel free to post that instead of a written description! The 100 words requirement has been lifted but you must include some kind of description of what your troll makes! Please try to have your posts filled before midnight if you can. The rollover is pretty lax and I'm willing to wait a little late for last minute additions but try to do your best!

Hemera finally, finally stopped by what was hand's down the best conceptual booth at the entire event. If she was a child she would have been so thrilled. Now she gazed at the items and the booth owners with some amount of remorse. They could still play around; she had to focus on the greater good, hence her own booth.

But she could take a break just this once. No harm, no foul. Her nose scrunched a little at the theme, though. An amazing hobo? Well, maybe with the right materials. She pulled one of the grab bags and took a look. Fiber optic fabric was not what she would call 'hobo', but perhaps she could make it work.

The leather would have to be a jacket and boots, clearly. Lined with some fake fur, and made to look pleasantly scruffy. The rest of the fur would become something like a beanie, with the googly eyes added to it. The last material, though... Really, fiber optic items were the last thing she would expect to go with this aesthetic. She sighed and used it to make a pair of little overalls. A bit too glitzy, but it made for a completed outfit. There.

The jeweled buttons glittered, calling to the young juggalo. They seemed to be yelling out to her to come use them. Punkie frowned, what would a hobo use jeweled buttons for? Carver clicked his claws, it was and amazing hobo. Punkie nodded and grabbed a few. As she finished getting some other things the jeweled buttons called to her again. The juggalo said under her breath. These jeweled buttons called to the juggalo in a way she did not fully understand. As she stared into the pile of them the world seemed to spin, things seemed to be not quite what they were, there was magic here. A troll bumped into her and snapped the orangeblood out of her trance. She quickly scuttled to her work station, not quite sure what had happened. The juggalo mutilated the fur, making it look worn and used. Fit for a hobo. She desecrated the cashmere, giving it a "worn ten years without being washed" look and nodded in approval. Then she looked at all the jeweled buttons she had collected. In a fit of something she bedazzled the doll with them, truly adding the amazing to the theme of the day.

Silk, Leather, Bubble-wrap, Tinfoil

Hmm. Actually, these items might have worked better the night before. But there was still flower potential! The silk would make for a nice warm-weather dress. The leather would, again, be a jacket, with the bubble-wrap and tinfoil fashioned into flower designs sewn into the jacket. The bubble wrap made up the pedals, and the tinfoil the center as well as a nice outline. A decent look, for sure.

Oh! That was an Autumn doll! How cute! But how did the booth owner know her?! Hmm - Autumn would need to be kept better track of, for safety reasons, but FIRST...

Dress up.

The theme was flowers, but what Keionx had was... not flowery. Sparkly things upon sparkly things. Ah well, a hero made do with what they had, and so Keionx gave FLOWERS a try.

It helped that the doll was already flowery. Autumn was such a pretty child. Feathers helped to add leaves and fronds to her look, ringing her with lovely honey-colored 'petals' and 'leaves'

The silly string became a woven, root or wicker like pair of shoes and skirt, decent enough though silly string was, in fact, awful.

The rhinestones became artfully placed dewdrops on the doll's hair and stockings, and the jeweled buttons helped secure some of the petals (and the wings), adding a bit of glint and glimmer.

When Keionx stood back to look, she rather thought that autumn now looked like an orchid - a very blossomy orchid.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Punkie clapped her hands at today's theme. Flowers. Her mind went immediately to punkin flowers of course. The juggalo got lucky with the ducktape and silk, the flowers would be soft as silk, meanwhile the vines and leaves would be harsh, tough, like duct tape. The sandpaper just made the whole thing more realistic. Punkin leaves and vines have thorns, did you know? Oh how Punkie knows about those thorns... It take a little pain to get your fruit, blood spilled for a punkin gained. The jeweled buttons were a must. They went in the center of each flower. Punkie looked at her silk flower dress, complete with prickly vine and leaf head-dress. Just like a real punkin plant.

OH UGH! What a TERRIBLE mess of.....just....MESS!! How was Miache supposed to make ANYTHING flowery from such material?! Well.....it was time to get creative. The satin he could fix into the shape of a flowing, casual gown. Sadly the sandpaper would catch on the silk if he tried to do anything with it.....OHH-HO!!! Unless!!!! Miache fashioned small flowers from the sandpaper and ductape, layering the tape on the outside of each sandpaper petal, topping each flower with a rhinestone stud in the middle. He designed the dress with the small flowers and mmore rhinestones littering from the left shoulder of the dress into a fade at the right hip, the flowers becoming smaller and more infrequent at the end of the trail.

Xavier while still tired felt better after visiting Nucleo's booth briefly to say hi to him and get something to eat and drink. It didn't fix that he was still worried about his friends..so he decided to pay Amonee a visit. Seeing as he had his beanbag pile..the boy quietly sat down before he went and tried making a doll. Night after night he'd been burning the candle at both ends to try and adventure around the Bloodfest grounds both in the early mornings, and stay up at night to man his Booth with Valaon.

Really if anything, it was the fact had a strange feeling of how unusual the fact the sunlights rays not bothering him wasn't..normal. Although, the brief chat with Panili had left the impression it wasn't an entirely bad thing..and Nucleo didn't mind. It was just hard to explain to less open minded trolls. That and the fact he knew how hard everyone was working to make this event work out the kid had simply hit a wall. Xavier curled up slightly on his side as he finally smiled. "I hope you don't mind.." He muttered tiredly briefly dozing off with little warning, snoring soundly as he trusted Amonee to look out for him. For what amounted it was the best power nap of his life.

His lusus simply settled herself down, not sleeping however. Instead she was using the opportunity to relax for the time being.

When he finally did wake up, he yawned as he sat up looking less zombified as he smiled sheepishly..reaching over to grab some materials for his doll. When he opened up the bag given to him he discovered a nearly perfect set of items to use. Quickly, Xavier set to work cutting out silk to wrap the feathers. He layered them like a fluffy flowery dress as he painted on different colors to give it an array of whites and yellows. By the time he was done making his floral-inspired dress he placed the doll on the table before shyly going to sit back down. He was content to hang around for the now before swinging back to his own booth to tidy things up for the night.
