Zindel was back the next day with a firm jaw, set on getting free drinks. Though he wasn't as poor as last year, he still was too cheap to buy anything! Zindel carefully took a drink, gulping it down easily...
But as easy as it went down, the fire came rushing back up. Zindel choked and sputtered, splurging on more milk to drink and practically suffocating. Dear gog-- He could definitely taste the quality, but the spices... Zindel supposed he might need a little break for now.

He couldn't escape the spice, as awful as it was. But he loved the sweet things... Reemus couldn't help himself. But he wasn't going to make Voscil suffer. No! He would just have a hard time by himself. He needed to get some stuff anyway. First, he tried to warm himself with another shot of cocoa.
It was so good, but the sting was so bad. Why?! He just had to keep himself from whining too loud. He was on a mission! Just try not to cry from the heat. "Er, miss?" he asked, once his tongue felt slightly less dead. "Could I get some cupcakes please? A box? I can pay." As if a blueblood wouldn't be able to anyway. He idly wondered if he could get a box for himself, too, and not just Voscil. Otherwise it would be so tempting to take one for himself...purplerosesbeauty A mysterious troll who you didn't see last Bloodfest! Nope!

Rastin Morden
As soon as Rastin downed the shot, his face turned as red as a cherry and he was grasping for milk. He didn't know why he kept coming to this booth to try and win, but he knew that he would be coming back to try again tomorrow. He just had to find that one shot without the pepper in it!

Stryke paused as he came across the familiar aroma of a booth he remembered partaking in last year. The cupcakes had been some of the sweetest and namely spiciest things he'd ever recalled consuming. A bit cold from the snowy landscape, he made his way over pulling out beetles to offer for box of cupcakes, along with some cookies to go with his drink. Selecting at random, Stryke took the cup and took a sip. The "orangeblood" instantly regretted the decision, although he refused to spit the drink out and waste it. His eye twitched as the orangeblood gulped. It was pretty damn hot he had to admit, but it also added a real flare to the brew. "Yikes!" He shook his head, blinking in bewilderment as he cleared his throat. "Pardon me.." He sucked in a sharp breath as he tried to keep a stiff upper lip and not tear up. "Mm..right then. Could I get this here box and cookies? Please." He planned to pass the out some of the other kids around the festival if he found them before he ate a few that is. "Thank you." He added politely as he paid the other for their goods.

While he was thankful for the ticket the day before, the fact that he came back to drink once more still made him slightly frustrated. Zindel really wanted to find the normal drink at least once, and then, maybe, he'd leave the booth alone. So with great deliberation, Zindel grabbed the cup he thought looked the best and gulped it down.
And IMMEDIATELY reached for the milk. Greeaaat.

It was another night, another fight.
Cerpin marched up to the Hot Shots booth with a determined look blazing in his eyes. He would sadly be leaving with that same fiery feeling in his throat. Grabbing one of the cups, he took a breath, looked to the sky and murmured something that sounded like a curse and then downed the damned thing. It burned like never before and tears came to the corners of his eyes and his pride stung at the horrible feeling of crying in public.
"Just... why?" He squinted at the cheerful redblood bustling around the booth selling cupcakes and shots of death. The words were more to himself than to her, though he truly wanted to understand the answer. He would be back again another time to try and best this beast again.

It was that booth again. Fellah stood in front of it for a bit longer than normal, staring down the cups of hot chocolate. The cupcakes were so delicious, but the hot chocolate was like swallowing a stingbeast. Tonight would be the night, tonight he would not burn his tongue off from intense spice.
Success at last! Fellah gave a content sigh after drinking a perfect cup of hot chocolate. "Ahhh, delicious," he said happily, cheerfully paying for some more cup cakes to enjoy with his cup of cocoa.

Rastin was beginning to damn himself for continuing to come back each day just to drink something that made his throat burn. However, today was the first day that he happened to notice that there were other things for him to consume and purchased a plate of cookies to go with his milk. At least the sweet chocolate from that helped soothe his aching palate.

Lutrin was aghast. She had spent so much time taking care of her own booth, that she had failed to visit the others. So much for supporting local business! Nevertheless, Lutrin was determined to make up for it. She had downed several drinks from the Nightly Grind booth in preparation. Lutrin went from booth to booth like a whirlwind. Not surprisingly, she did not waste any time reading instructions or listening to sales pitches. She simply took whatever lay in front of her and applied it in the manner that seemed most likely. So, seeing a cup of cocoa on a counter, Lutrin chose the obvious choice of action and guzzled it down, splashing it all over her face in the process. Moments later, she was screaming. For several seconds, she ran in circles, flailing her arms, fanning her mouth and wailing like a siren. Then she managed to locate Cerise, and grabbed hold of her arms. Never once pausing to breathe, she continued in her unearthly wail. “WHAT MANNER OF DEATH IS THIS?!”

"I'm back!" Nucleo declared, holding a gallon of milk in his hand this time. He'd taken one from his supply back at his booth just in case he'd need it tonight. This had become a bit of a personal challenge by now. Grabbing one cup from the table, he knocked it back and felt the burn.
FROTH!
"HAAAAahhh!" Everything hurt! Uncapping the milk jug, he started chugging and even that didn't feel strong enough. Milk splashed everywhere and got his shirt wet but it was necessary. Dashing off, he vowed that tomorrow he'd have to bring a special challenge for HER.
