Stryke's brow knit together slightly. Her distress had him concerned, the brief flicker of a yellow glimmer hazy around the yellowbloods frame. "Nor did I truthfully. I figured I'd take a moment to say hello when I realized otherwise." It was also to make sure she knew there was trolls around she could turn to, and identify with. "My first one was as well..I can only imagine how you feel." He replied quietly, as he had been able to walk around as his given color last year.

His attention turned to her demeanor as he moved to buy himself with tea sorting so he didn't look as if has loitering. The spicy and floral notes for the tea he worked with tonight was a different spin on nights previous he figured. Stryke couldn't help wonder. Why was she so worried..? It actually made him uncomfortable enough to glance around.There was no one watching them, and it was only natural for trolls to chat while mingling. Although, the yellowblood remembered being that small..it wasn't easy feeling that overwhelmed. For what it was worth, he started to say more as she abruptly cut him short.

However the answer came quickly as she went to talk to a troll. "I will meet you there yes..be ss...afe." He cautioned before letting her be. For the moment, he'd stay in the vicinity even if that meant leaving the booth to go eavesdrop out of site, and out of mind. One could never be too cautious, he'd learned that the hard way.

Thanking the polite booth owner, he excused himself.

The scents of the various herbs at the booth were almost too much for him. He could not tell one from the next. By some stroke of luck however, he managed to create a signature combination. Feeling vaguely happy for no reason, Ephias turned to go, all other thoughts having been chased out of his thinkpan by his minor success. It was not until he received a gentle reminder that he remembered he got to take a tin of tea away for his efforts.

Wearily, Ephias turned once more to leave. This time however, his gaze passed over the bowl on the counter. Something sparked in the back of his brain. He stared at it, bleary eyed, trying to remember. At last, like lightning, it struck him.

“A pen!” he said, as though proclaiming some great revelation. In a way it was. He reached to take one from the counter. Then, just like that, the thought was gone again. He pressed his palm against his brow, trying to reclaim some semblance of cognizant thought. “Pen, pen, pen, pen...” he muttered. It was just a word. But what did it mean? There! It clicked. He picked up the pen, grabbed a slip of paper, and started to write...

What exactly?

He scrawled a wobbly line across the paper, before glancing up to read the question. The letters danced before his eyes. After a moment, they settled and he was able to parse... some kind of meaning from them. That seemed like a strangely specific question. Nonetheless he penned down in scrawl that was almost illegible, “Sparse wildlife with specialised methods of survival.”

Hemera returned to the relaxing booth during one of her breaks. It was a soothing distraction from the likes of Eridia and Chiara. A troll could only handle so much personality, but life kept pulling her back towards them. Which was fine, really, but overwhelming sometimes. The positive was that she didn't have to experience clashing personalities if she didn't want to.

And now she just wanted to pick up some tea. Alas, trying again met with no tangible result. She needed better luck at this. Or, like her booth was all about, ask. That was a concept.

Nictor Sabbat

Glancing around, Nictor was able to discern the rules from a sign posted near the herbs and berries. Curious to test his luck here and feeling a lot better than he had so far, Nictor squinched his eyes shut and reach out to take his pick. Unfortunately, his sleeves may have brushed some pollen off on the supplies. Hopefully no one is allergic.

Opening his eyes back up, Nictor found he had minty and floral flavored herbs. The flavors sounded pretty nice to him, and glancing at the tea tin list, he noticed that that was one of the flavors. Surprised, but rather happy, Nictor found a tin of Windpeak Cliffs dropped in his hands with only a small jump at the owner appearing to drop off his prize.



((numbers for Windpeak Tea say 4 and 5 but flavors say Fruity and Floral. I think you meant minty and floral?))

Sephos Arbola

Sephos looked forward to Panili's booth. It was such a nice place to rest and relax and just... not have to deal with things. Panili was nice. He meant... her booth. Was nice.

He took a look at her question of the night and pondered it as he fiddled with the tea sorting thing. Floral and spicy? It wasn't bad. He'd have to show it to Rastin later.

But for now... the question. Independence? Hmm...

I gotta get ready to do that... he wrote out on a piece of paper, Maku's going to have me go off on my own soon, so I gotta be ready. It wasn't something Sephos liked to think about, but Maku kept gently reminding him that one day he would go off on his own and raise Maku's sapling. That was his role.

Sephos would never say it outright and out loud, but he was scared to leave Maku. He didn't want to. But, with every passing month, with every shift in the seasons, that inevitability got closer... I test myself sometimes. he continued, flipping the paper over for more room, I go out on my own and pretend I'm on my own and run through all the things I need to do. If I mess up, I can just go home. That's how I do things...

He frowned at his answer. It didn't sound like it answered her question, but it was his answer... He put it in the thoughtfulness bowl. He had a little question of his own.

"Um, um... Panili?" he said, waving to her to get her attention, "Would it be okay if I uh, brought you more flowers?" He didn't know why anyone wouldn't want more flowers, but trolls confused and confuddled him. And himself. He wanted to give her flowers, and he didn't know why... so he asked. Just to be sure...
