“Makes sense.” Terry said with a hum of understanding. He could see how people watching would help Seung learn, after all it was easier to pick things up when exposed to it. “That does explain a few questions.” There had been a few questions that had been well off topic at the time of them coming up though he hadn’t asked why they had come up at the time. “Sometimes. I will people watch when waiting by myself at times at least. It’s always interesting to see the different people react to different things.” He said with a shrug. For example he had been waiting in the park and a group of kids had come happily running by being chased by a playful puppy. The people around them had reacted differently with most think it cute, some proving they thought it an annoyance and so on. At the last question though he gave a sigh and a nod. “Yeah, if she starts back up with the flirting I’ll tell her. Still not sure how but I will.”

He was, and had been, doing his best to try and learn. He wasn’t about to give up his own culture and his own customs and habits - not any chance of it. But he did want to understand things and fit in better, so he didn’t make a fool of himself or those with him. Seung had been trying and he felt he wasn’t doing all that bad honestly, he was learning rather quickly; though not quick enough.
Some of what Terry said he didn’t understand but most of it he understood and nodded his head a bit before getting up when they were called for their drinks. Motioning for the other to stay he went to get them, passing the girls on the way. They were headed to their table while he was going for his and Terry’s drink. Stabbing the straw into his he took a sip, happy with the flavor, he went to join the others at the table and passed Terry his drink before offering his own for a tasting by the other.
He did wonder for a moment if the girl would say anything, he hadn’t really observed men sharing drinks like this...it seemed more a female thing if nothing else. Was it that way? Or was it just what he’d noticed but wasn’t the case?

Terry had just been about to get up when their drinks were called but remained sitting when Seung told him he would get them. He watched the other pass by the girls then looked at them and gave them a nod. “Got everything you were looking for?” He asked, referring to both the manga and the drinks. Before they could answer Seung was back and Terry gave him a smile in thanks as he was handed his drink. He took a sip of it and gave a pleased hum, liking how the flavor mixed. When the other man offered his drink he returned the favor with his own. “It’s pretty good.” He decided after taking a sip of Seung’s bubble tea.
The girls looked between the two, the blonde figuring it was a dating thing they did while the brunette wasn’t sure what to make of them sharing drinks.

Taking a sip of the offered drink he wrinkled his nose and shook his head. “No.” He didn’t like it, it would be ok if it wasn’t for the strawberry but that was his opinion. Taking his drink back he took a sip of it, sucking up one of the black colored pearls which he chewed on. His dark eyes looked over the two girls and he smiled.
“Drinks are good?” He asked the girls honestly curious, he actually was curious what they were having and if they were good. He wouldn’t ask to try them but an opinion wouldn’t be a bad thing really. Watching the girls as he sipped at his drink he knew one of them had them figured out, the blond, but had the brunette figured them out yet? Would she? This was certainly an interesting time out shopping.

Terry chuckled and took his drink back, amused by the face Seung had made. “Which part of it didn’t you like?” He asked out of curiosity. Better to learn what the other didn’t like now then later after all. He wondered if it was the strawberry or the mint since Seung hadn’t shown any signs of not liking chocolate before. When the other man addressed the girls he looked over to them to see the blonde giving a thumbs up and saying that her drink was good. His eyes slid over to the brunette who nodded in agreement with her friend. He wondered what kinds of drinks they got but didn’t ask right away.

“Strawberry.” He answered. “Not with mint..too many tastes..” Too many different things. On it’s own it would be fine but with the chocolate and the mint it was too much. He had no issue with the flavors on their own, or even chocolate coated strawberries as he rather liked them in the summer as a street treat. It was just combined it was a little much.
Another sip from his own drink and he nodded to the girls, glad they liked their drinks as well. “Good, what did you both get?” Now curious and wanting to know, so he had an idea of what they both liked, what was good here also. If he came back in the future it would give him ideas for other things to try, just to see if he liked them also. It was another way to learn and pick up new things.
“Am still learning different food and drink here...not same flavors.” He explained, since it was perhaps an odd, or perhaps rude, question to ask. He figured it might just be more odd than rude to ask.

Terry hummed in understanding while making a mental note. “Good to know.” He said then sipped his drink. He personally didn’t have problems with the triple flavors but then again he had grown up with quite a few multi flavored ice creams and this wasn’t too far off. Terry looked over at the girls when Seung spoke up and they started to explain their choice of drinks. The blonde had gone with an iced tea that had a raspberry flavor, simple and something he liked from time to time, while the brunette had decided to be a bit adventurous and got one of the bubble teas that Seung had mentioned earlier. “What kind of flavors are normal for drinks in South Korea?”

He had made a mental note to try the raspberry iced tea next time, it did sound good and berries in the summer and spring sounded nice. When the brunette mentioned the bubble tea, and he finally looked at her drink and noticed it was in fact bubble tea, he asked how it was. He was curious what someone else, someone who had apparently never tried it, thought it was. Terry liked it, which was good, so he wondered what she thought as well.
When asked about flavors he took a few moments to think on that. “Melon, aloe, milk drinks, you know drink I buy often - banana milk. If popular, you’ve tried. They make in strawberry and melon also, can get those for you to try also.” He said wondering if the convenience store he got his banana milk at had the other two flavors. “Teas common - very common...many flavors...fruit and flower…” Floral he meant, but he said flower - same idea. Many fruit flavors of water and other things…” He said slowly thinking about the things he drank back home. He liked juices, flavored waters, banana milk was amazing. “Can buy some drinks for you to try.” He said smiling at Terry, it would be a very interesting thing - getting him to try all kinds of different drinks. “Asian market...can get many drinks.”

The brunette responded to Seung by saying she thought it was different but pretty good. She hadn’t been able to resist trying it she say while looking through her eyelashes at Terry. Terry on the other hand missed the looks she gave him and instead looked from the brunette’s drink to Seung’s, curious to see if she had gotten a different flavor but couldn’t tell from the way the cups were. Since he couldn’t tell just from looking he ended up just asking her what she got and gave a nod when she told him.
He then looked back over to Seung when he spoke up again and answered his question. “Sounds like quite the selection.” Terry said with a nod. There were quite a few different kinds of drinks over here in the States as well so it wasn’t surprising. “Sure, I wouldn’t mind trying some.” He said with a smile.

Of course he however had no issue in asking what flavor she got, while telling her what flavor he had gotten. Sharing the information and how sweet his was. He would have offered her some but it would have been odd to do that, so he didn’t offer. While Terry hadn’t noticed the brunette making a flirty expression Seung had and he leaned in to whisper to the other about it, while using a hand to cover it up so no one could read his lips.
Sitting back he nodded. “Good, we can go shopping…” Thinking over it, knowing he had plans for tonight, he wondered when they could manage this shopping trip. “Tomorrow?” He asked looking at the other with dark questioning eyes.

Terry just managed to stop himself from giving a sigh when Seung pointed out that Mary was giving him flirty looks. He whispered back to the other that if she actually spoke up then he would let her know that he was happily taken though he was hoping she would notice it before then. Once the other had sat back and asked his question, Terry thought for a moment to recall if he had anything planned or not then gave a smile and a nod. “Sure, I’m free tomorrow.” He had already finished any homework and he didn’t have any classes so his entire day, beyond a bit of time in the evening that he would go on patrol, was free. And more then likely Seung would join him on patrol anyway.

“Good, can get groceries too. Need some things at home.” And his parents were busy, as was normal with their jobs. His cousin was younger and while she could help he’d rather not ask, let her do her thing and handle homework and be a teenager. She had a chance to do more things here, more teenage things, than she did back home.
“I drive?” He asked the other after a moment while sipping on his drink innocently enough. Never mind the fact he didn’t have a licence, Terry didn’t know that. Terry also had never been in the car with him and seen how he drove. He took public transport normally to get anywhere, or he walked. That night they’d gone to see Caedus he’d let Terry drive once he’d picked Terry up, as he’d kept the foods in his lap so they didn’t spill.
His focus then was back on the girls, he didn’t want to be rude and exclude them from things. “Both drive? What school you go to?” He asked, unsure of their ages and while he wouldn’t know what schools where what, or their reputations, he knew what high school was and university. He could ask Terry, later, for more details and information. “Go to Sovereign Heights.” He didn’t like the uniform there but he was used to uniforms for schools, he’d suffered those up till he’d graduated from high school. His uniforms however had been a lot nicer, better design and better colors.

“Alright. We going to shop in Korea Town for the groceries?” Terry asked, not having any problem going with him to help out with shopping and as he had no idea what he was going to get himself into, he had just given a shrug and agreed with Seung driving. He didn’t even really give it much thought since he figured the other had to have a liscense seeing how he had driven before and that he had to know how to drive for the same reasons. Instead the thought that Seung did not infact have a license nor knew how to drive SAFELY never crossed his mind and he relaxed into the seat and took another sip of his drink.
At Seung’s questions both started to tell him that they both knew how to drive and went to the same school as each other. The blonde ended up asking Seung how long he had been going there for and when he was going to be graduating.

Nodding his head to answer the others question. “Mmm, yeah. Has other asian products too but many from home. Go there for produce not found in normal store.” He answered further. There were certain fruits and vegetables that the normal store didn’t carry, as well as drinks, noodles, and other things which were normal, even every day sort of common, back home. “Big store...has samples to try.” So Terry could try some foods also, and if he liked some Seung could always purchase the needed materials to make them.
“Started in September - moved here then from Seoul. Was in university back home...had to drop down so I could work on my English. Is better but not perfect. Good enough for university by fall.” At least he planned on it being good enough, if not he could continue to get help - he’d likely need to anyway. But he’d be far better off, especially with the help Terry provided him and the university student he paid as well for help. “Only take people till 22….will be 23 this year.” Though back home he was considered older, something he’d explained to Terry but didn’t mention here. It was an odd thing apparently and unexpected by Terry when he’d told him that he’d dropped a year in age when moving here.
