Gevaudan, knight of Ganymeade

He had sat slowly into his hair, cringing as his stitches pulled under his uniform. Setting his hands down, he leaned forward, laced his hands together in front of him, and started at the code as those spoke their ideas around him. It was information gathering, and he wondered what resources their side even had.

"If we are supposed to be on our own side and not too heavily relied on the senshi, maybe our first agenda should be relying on just our own resources first. I also have a concern as I don't know much about the Code. If everyone is saying this.." He pointed to the piece.

"...has caused all other code pieces to act strangely, and the code pieces act as sources of power for all knights, then all code pieces are linked in some way. If that is the case, does that mean this code piece can corrupt all the others and in turn all knights?"

He also looked to the ones talking about Caedus. "What would Caedus get out of helping us? I don't know Cosmos, but she did save the entire force during the invasion of the Negaverse so I'll be a bit inclined to trust her for now. She did say she was very wary of Caedus. We used him to get into the Negaverse. He might make demands if we ask for his help again. It's strange to rely on his power for something this important. He might not fully understand what the code even is as much as you do. "

Celliwig, Page of Earth

Someone had heard her. She'd spoken up and someone had paid attention and oh Maker, now she was going to have to keep talking. Well, that was what she had set out to do in standing up and stating what she knew-- And it was information that needed to be shared. There was no reason why only a few should know what had happened.

"Pollux. The senshi who attacked Caedus is named Pollux. He was frustrated about his brother and blaming our alien friend for those who made the choice to enter the portal because it had collapsed." Others, others... Yes, there had been others. "Sedna and Methone, two other senshi, they stayed behind while the others were called away. It felt like how we were called here tonight, but different. I didn't go that time because I thought we were being abducted... When Pollux attacked he also hit us, but Caedus stopped him. He protected us from being attacked and said that he had to hide, least Pollux, or anyone else who might wish to attack him, find him again."

As another Knight began to speak Celliwig found herself concerned again, crossing her arms over her chest as though that might somehow shield her from the way the conversation was turning. "... I don't want to be corrupted."

Emrys Squire of Neptune

Emrys opened his mouth - and then promptly shut it again, floundering slightly. But at the same time, the corners of his lips quirked, just the slightest, and it seemed as though he was almost about to smile, in spite of his nervousness at the situation.

"Oh, um," he said, flustered at her sudden question. "I...no, not exactly, I just - I came with my brother," Emrys finished lamely, gesturing at Celsus's back. "I'm still...new...at this whole, er...knight thing, I've only been one for a few weeks now."

And even then, he was still anxious about it. There were gaps in his memory, black spots where there should have been something, and it frightened him. Emrys had only powered up twice in the space of his awakening and now.

He clutched at his staff and shook his head. "I, er...I think that one is a M-Mars knight," he said, after a moment. "At least that's what Celsus said, I forgot his name. And the g-glowing thing is...the Code..? I don't know what it does, exactly."

Emrys felt his face heat as the girl stared at him, glancing once more at Celsus, but his brother was in the middle of a discussion, leaving him to flounder on his own.

"E - Emrys," he stammered out. "Of Neptune."

(Sorry I didn't get that quote earlier, my name was misspelled! -derp- Because I wasn't involved in the meta so far, Camelot has no idea what's going on so uh. Feel free to help him out. XD )

Royal Knight Camelot of Earth

The Royal Knight had been hesitant to answer the summons, but obligation and a sense of guilt and regret to him to put aside his personal qualms. He appeared in the room with the others, a little later than the rest of the gathering, looking around in wonder at all the faces that had collected so far.

His eyes settled on the curious, chaos pulsing thing seemingly at the center of attention, not too aware of what had happened in the recent past but knowing it had not been good. He was not particularly comforted by the presence of Chaos, even in such a limited form, in this place.

He needed a moment to catch up, his ears perking at the discussion already progressing and tuning in as quickly as he could in an effort to figure out what was going on, and what his place in it might be.

Falias, Knight of Earth

Falias hadn't quite expected his somewhat offhand comment about attempting to push positive energy to be overheard, but he hadn't been particularly trying to hide it either.

"Well I'm game to try" he said, especially since both Kairatos and the red-haired Knight's (Celsus) words pointed towards it being a thing in some shape or form. "Although.." he hesitated for a few moments, before finally admitting "I'm not really sure how to go about it." Especially as he had pretty much literally only just found out that sharing energy was even a thing.

He had listened as a Saturn Page (
Paris) had questioned whether they should do anything with the Code piece at all, but hadn't said anything. After all both Kairatos and a dark-haired Squire (Delphi) had been quick to answer and Falias hadn't seen the point of adding to their comments given that he hadn't had anything new to add.

And then his attention had been drawn to a red-haired Earth Page (
Celliwig) as she spoke about Caedus no longer being at the hill where he had created the portal to Nega space.

It was hard not feel disappointed because whilst the Page had also said that that Caedus was still somewhere in the city, it meant that any attempts to try to find the other would be that much harder.

He made a note of the name that the Page gave of the one that attempted to attack Caedus - Pollux - before glancing towards the black haired Knight (
Gevaudan) that had voiced concerns about asking the strange being that had opened a way into Nega space for them.

"I think we should keep Caedus as an option - at least if one of us manages to find him" he said, "Although not necessarily as our first option." After all it was still a card on the table so to speak "If we do find him and he does makes demands for his help we don't necessarily have to take him up on it" and it wasn't like they had any guarantees that Caedus could help them even if they did manage to find him.

It was at that point that Falias noticed
Camelot - well more that he picked on the blazing strong aura amongst the other gathered auras in the room.

He turned, his green eyes finally spotting the Royal Knight
"Camelot," he gave the older Earth Knight a nod of greeting, adding as he noticed that the other's attention also appeared to be on the Code "We've been trying to work out if there's a way to fix it."

Slievenamon, Squire of Neptune

The squire nodded her head and smiled at Celliwig in gratitude. "Thank you. Those names and intentions'll be useful for knowing," she said. Her hand twitched in the motion of writing and, when she realized she wasn't in possession of her memo pads, swiftly sidestepped to where she sat and picked it up. As if as natural as breathing, the squire wrote down everything relayed to her in brief notes.

Scanning over her notes, Slievenamon cast her eyes to the tip of her boots. Caedus was a very grey area, that much was becoming clear to her. Even she didn't trust him—not fully, anyway—and the topic of demands made her thoughts sway a bit. She put in her two cents and left the topic of the cloaked individual alone after that: "Yes, definitely not as our first option. A-and I'm being lenient here, but if Caedus protected you, then he must not all be that bad. Not enough to be trusted, that's much of a stretch, but enough to be found and talked to. Compliance, agreement, that's all we should hope for now." Then the matter fell to the wayside of her mind for another time.

Come the entrance of a knight she didn't know, Slievenamon naturally glanced at them. She blinked at the mentioning of their name—Camelot. Just the person they were looking for!

Piggybacking off of Falias's remarks to the man, the squire nudged her chin in the direction of the Code piece and said, "We retrieved that from the Academy in Negaspace... Long story as to how we got in... A cloaked figure named Caedus, somehow, allowed us passage, there were so much youma, and—" The squire shivered. She didn't want to remember the bloodshed. "To shorten that, we found it, its here, but it is plagued with Chaos. Your name was brought up in our discussions to drive it out or, well, purify it. Do... do you think you can?"

Paris of the Smol Saturn

A small yelp erupted from Paris as he was answered, half expecting to be ignored. The mars knight helped shed some light on the situation, yet it still made no sense. If they were supposed to stand in the middle, then wouldn't the code also be the same? Still, The older Knight of Chronos made a weak smile form, happy to not be totally at odds or a loss.
"I guess that makes sense." He nodded, shying back for a moment to think once more.

What also bothered him, aside from basically forcing their power on the code which was kind of sketchy to him, was that no one was really asking the code what it wanted. It was it's own being and it was in his mind, still something with an opinion. If the code was a bit dark- heck his own experience wasn't all that pleasant, but that didn't make it bad or wrong.

He figured even if it didn't answer it was only polite to ask what it wanted.

While others could think to outside help, Paris just didn't want to get the code angry with him. He was a knight too, and well-
He just wanted to help.

"Ex-excuse me." He approached the code bowing his head.
"Um. I- I don't mean to pry but um. Um. Is there a way to uh, purify you. Or uh, make you better? That is, if you want to. I- I don't want to do anything you wouldn't want. Sorry. Sorry you probably hate us..."
He kept his head down feeling stupid.
"Sorry."

Kairatos

He almost hadn't expected Camelot to show, only because he had become so accustomed to not seeing a glimpse of that unique full plate, but the Mars knight let out a sigh of some relief to see him, and he shot the older knight a look as though looking for a life line. Usually if he was up at the front of the room it was to argue his point, not to try and organize anything, and he felt a bit under-equipped to the task, and he kind of wanted to pass along to Camelot those marks he'd seen. The idea that they might have been deliberately searching for the code concerned him a bit. More than a bit actually.

He was distracted enough by this silent look toward the Royal Knight that he blinked a bit owlishly as the young Saturn Knight walked up to the code piece, silent and reeling with waves of chaos, and bowed to it, and asked it's opinion.

, He kind of doubted the young man with the technicolor hair and bright blue eyes was going to get any more response than he had when they'd first dragged it out, but enough of this meeting had been a surprise...
He wouldn't be surprised if it stood up and tap danced on tiny feet.

He certainly wasn't going to stop people from coming up and trying stuff. It was, at best, a borrowed stage, when still didn't feel like he necessarily belonged up here himself.

Besides, knowing that Pollux had gone off on Caedus was good to know. Not that he knew anything to do about it, but it was good to know.

"With Caedus's crystals it was sort of hands on... but otherwise not sure. I'm not transcended so I don't know how their powers work... Glad to see you here T..." He started to use an old nickname for the Royal Knight, shrugged awkwardly and somewhat apologetically and corrected himself. "Camelot.".

Formal occasion, formal names. He'd already had one disagreement to start the whole thing off with, he didn't want to find out that Camelot had secretly hated it the whole time and had something to say about it. "Your timing probably couldn't be better. We wanted to try and see if we could... collectively help, but we don't know where to start. I mean I saw a damn good example of what we can do together... but this isn't exactly dropping an greater Youma. This is the Code... And it might not work. We might just straight up need you, but we burned out two royals and I think we'd collectively hate to burn you out too, if we needed you to be an ace up the sleeve."

He wasn't sure how else to put it, and it made him aggressively wish he was more eloquent.

Camelot

The Royal Knight smiled and nodded his head at Falias in return greeting, glad to see the young man. A piece of the code, found in the negaverse, corrupted by chaos.

Those were the bullet notes he had picked up from Slievenamon's explanation. Of course, his first instinct, too, was the thought of purification. It was the one thing he had really dedicated himself to, beyond his fellow knights themselves. If there was one thing he was good for at least trying, it was that.

After all, it had worked on the mirror coating of the DMC senshi he had helped. It was always worth a try, even at risk to himself.

"I'll certainly try," he answered the Squire, before glancing over at Paris as the unfamiliar knight spoke with the piece of paper. For some reason, the sight made him smile, eyes warm, and he shook his head slowly. It was good to see, he supposed, some small amount of innocence left in this terrible war, and it reminded him just what he was fighting for. And who he was fighting alongside.

Treasures, all of them, to be protected and cared for. Together, they were strongest, as Kairatos implied.

"I'll do what I can to purify it," the Royal Knight said, taking a slow breath with his decision. He placed his hand over the empty sheath at his side, closing his hand around an invisible sword hilt until he pulled it free and the crystal blade glimmered despite no clear source of direct light on it. He held the sword in his right hand, turning it slowly as he looked at it, wondering if it would do any good against the chaos that seemed to seep from the Code.

"I don't know what this might do, and I may need your help. The power of the Knights is greatest when it's used together, and if this is to work, I will need as much support as I can from you all. Maybe, if you all might honor me with a small piece of your energy... then maybe we can win back this small piece of our faction from Chaos. If that's what you all think we should try. I think I'd be interested in hearing more about this Code Piece, and what misgivings or ideas you all might have."

He was more grave and serious than he intended to be, but the potential use of this piece outweighed his misgivings and bore heavily on his sense of obligation.

Verona - Squire of Cosmos

Verona's leg crossed again and she wondered what really was the point of this meeting or calling. If the code piece needed a royal to purify it, then why were they there and not just earth knight...er...camelot? she was pretty sure that was the name whispered out.

And if they had found the code piece in the rift, why had it been there? What was in the negaverse hold base that would not only be able to house such a important piece of order side of units? Who had been corrupting it and for how long and HOW had they been able too?

She didn't like this one bit and thinking one royal could solve all their problems didn't seem right...or even a good way to think. they were all knights here, they had all been summoned. They all needed to wrack their brains together.

So where was the catch?

"Why haven't we taken this piece back to the code on Olympus? don't you think putting it back with its original whatever, would give us more clues?"
Or did this room on the moon hold something more important?

"Does anyone know how long this piece has been missing? Or we just playing guessing games?"

Celsus Knight of Chronos

The answer that came from Celliwig made Celsus frown a little, tapping a finger absently against his cheek. His casted hand had started throbbing a little, but he ignored it, easing out a breath as he said, "Well, that's not really all that helpful then, is it?"

He had not trusted Caedus - he still was not sure that he did, after all that had happened in Negaspace. But attacking him had been uncalled for, unless something had happened that Celsus did not know about; a provocation that had caused the senshi to attack in the first place.

He set those thoughts aside for the time being and focused on their other options, his hand still resting on Paris' shoulder for a moment longer before it fell away. Celsus watched him approach the Code, his gaze flickering momentarily to Camelot before he looked back at the crowd.

"Before we try anything at all, I think...er, Skully here has a good point in perhaps asking beforehand," said Celsus, gesturing at Paris. "But I also - and please forgive me, I mean no harm - I also think that we should be working together. I'm sure Camelot's presence and his abilities are more than welcome, but we should also know how to work cohesively all together."

He gave the man a tired smile.

"We should not base our entire likelihood on the shoulders of one person, that's far too much pressure on anyone. It is much more likely that we will be able to accomplish things without being dependent upon a singular person, especially seeing as how we know so little of the Code."

Verona's suggestion made him gesture at her as well. "That is another suggestion I believe should be considered as well - taking the Code back to Olympus could prove fruitful."

Baikal, Page of Mercury

A glance was cast towards Camelot as he arrived, apparently right on cue. Convenient timing, it would make it a lot easier to attempt a purification, if that was the direction the collective gathering finally settled on.

It didn't seem as though it was going to settle any time soon, though.

Pale eyes narrowing a touch as Celsus spoke up, the page took a second or two school features and voice before speaking up. "And how do we know adding a corrupted piece to the whole won't just corrupt all of it?" It seemed like something worth considering, at least.

"I left it here, instead of taking it to Olympus because even from the Rift... this one corrupt piece seems to have made waves at multiple wonders, all across the galaxy. I wasn't sure what it would do if I put it next to another piece in person when they seem to be connected, so I made the call to isolate it."

In that at least he could agree that referring to this corruption as a form of sickness might not be inaccurate, and he didn't know what would happen if it jumped to a second, integral piece of Code...

"I'm up to a discussion but maybe we could... try and clean it first? You're Transcended... how does this energy share thing work? It's a start anyway... I mean do we... hold hands?"

He grimaced, clearly unsure if this sounded as ridiculous to others as he felt saying it.

Slievenamon, Squire of Neptune

Slievenamon pursed her lips and nodded her head. "Whatever energy or assistance I can give, I want to," she said to Camelot, before shifting her attention over to Kairatos. She muffled a chortle behind the folds of her memo pad come the mention of holding hands, hoping no one heard her.

Maybe they were going to sing Kumbaya after all?

Putting on a serious face again, she busied herself writing down this new flow of questions again. Before she knew it, she had reached the end of her first pad, and frowned at her illegible penmanship.

Maybe this was for naught, she thought. There's just too much to jot down.

Hy-Brasil, Page of Earth

Well it seemed her input wasn’t all that wanted as she was soundly ignored. Fine. She got it. She was a newbie and really didn’t understand the first thing about The Code or much about being a Knight either. But be damned, she was here and wanted to help! Wasn’t that enough for her to at least warrant her question getting some kind of response from someone? After all, new or not, she was still one of them. Sure, she didn’t go and retrieve the code piece from...wherever the hell they got it. But that was a technicality in her mind.

Seething some, and doing her best to reign in her temper, Hy-Brasil crossed her arms and decided to continue to watch the group go back and forth over what to do. It’s like a horribly put together tennis match. She mused to herself.

And then Camelot arrived. Finally. Someone who may be able to do something. She may not necessarily know Camelot all that well, but she knew he was a heavy hitter and that his presence would mean something was about to get done here. In fact, when Camelot asked people if they would offer up some energy for his attempt of purifying she was finally beginning to reign in her temper and focus back on the task at hand, which was solving the problem with the code.

And then another knight, the one who had nodded at her when she first arrived (Celsus), popped in and caused the Page to furrow her brow at his response.

Unfolding her arms, Hy-Brasil stepped forward into the group a bit more so that maybe, this time she wouldn’t be ignored by the collective. ”Wait, I am not understanding you here. You’re saying you want to purify the code piece but when the man who can actually do it comes in you don’t want him to try? He even asked us to help pull our energy together for him. I am not sure what else you expect to happen? Is there something else that you know that the rest of us don’t because helping Camelot at least try to purify the Code sounds like a much better option than all of us standing here hashing out what if and how comes.”

She then glanced around at everyone else and decided to pose her question from before again. Another thing. If something happens, and s**t hits the fan, is destroying this piece of the code an option? I am not going to stand here and say I know anything, because I don’t. I am too new to… all of this.” She waved her hand in general indicating the Knighthood as a whole. ”But if this is a real serious threat like you are all indicating it might be, we may need to consider such a drastic option.

For the most part she managed to keep her temper in check considering she hadn't fallen into a complete blabbering idiot. Still, it was obvious that the fiery red-head was a bit miffed at how this whole gathering was going and she had only been there a short while.
