Amatha looked the same as always despite her apparent weariness, a trait Xuza wished she had. Emit, displaying his versatility yet again, introduced the blonde who definitely needed to tell Xuza how on earth she got make-up to look that incredible. The two seemed to have been partners for a while, acting like a couple thoroughly used to each other's tricks. At this Xuza couldn't help smiling as she brought the explanation of the meeting from her internal 'dex.
"Yuna, nice to meet you," said the winged one restraining herself. "Emit's not giving you too much trouble I hope." And from there it was on to business.
"Right. I've called you all here today for a couple reasons. First, I don't have to tell you what happened a year ago today." After all, it was the anniversary of Mina's death at the hands of Paradox. A short moment of silence was punctuated by a quick but deep inhalation. "... Which brings me to the main point: moving ahead. We're going to catch Paradox."
"While out the other day I met up with the witch who healed me before when I fought Lumina. She told me that she and her group have run into her in the past as well, which tells us that (a) Paradox isn't just targeting this group, and (b) from the way she talked, she wasn't too keen on her either. That means we have at least a neutral force as a buffer between us, if not an ally."
"... That said," said Xuza with more caution, "something about their organisation doesn't sit well with me. We're going to move ahead without their help, and if any of you encounters a member of a group calling themselves 'Ranto...' Don't blink." Now turning to individual accounts, as was customary for these regular meetings, "Ok, so what do you guys have to share? What have you seen?"

Amalie was a tad startled as the green haired girl grabbed her hand so suddenly.
"Well, I-"she started, when the girl ran off to attend to other customers."Au revoir...she said, her voice trailing off. She shook her head and smiled to herself. She was beginning to find the girl very entertaining.
Amalie was about to go back to reading her paper when a small group began to show up, appearing one by one. They were an interesting looking bunch, so she couldn't help but look over. They each seemed to possess such unique characteristics, much different than the people she's seen in the city so far. Before finding herself accidentally listening to another's conversation, which she understood to be incredibly rude, she went back to her paper. She began to think about Miki's offer. Amalie began to wonder if she could really make such a heavy commitment so fast, and without really knowing the girl. Was the girl capable of even using her? She had barely been in the city that long, let alone the country, and already she felt the weight of responsibility resting on her shoulders.
Amalie sipped her coffee and decided she would give Miki a chance. She'd wait until the girl had another free moment, then plan when the two could try out working together as weapon and meister. Perhaps, Amalie would be pleasantly surprised. Regardless, there's be no harm in trying.

✙➸ That hour was hell in the shop, everyone was getting out of work or meeting there, because apparently it was the next best thing near Deathbucks, mainly night workers and DWMA students went there. After a small influx of costumers, almost all the tables were taken and Miki was giving out the ready coffees. After delivering everything, she stopped at the crew's table and gave Amatha a Dynamite Coffee, asked her to sign a contract saying that Café con Leche wouldn't be held responsible for any hypertension, diabetes or other sickness developed after drinking the Dynamite Coffee. She also delivered Xuza's coffee and gave a free sample, a simple pair of cups of Brazilian bean coffee to the two love birds, if you joined the handles, it made a heart. Cute.
Then, she went back to Amalie's table and sat down, letting her weight sink into the chair, letting out a sigh. She held out a hand and smiled. "Partners? I assure you nobody is better for you than me." She gestured her to transform inside the shop, full of costumers. With the other hand, hidden in her apron's pocket, she dialed Simon, maybe he'd like to meet his new partner.

Amalie continued watching Miki work the cafe. The way she handled everything with such a timely manner was incredible. Amalie watched her serve coffee to the table of people who arrived earlier. Again, her accuracy with orders was something to be admired.
Amalie smiled as Miki came and sat at her table. The poor girl deserved a moment's rest, after all. She was a bit shocked at the girl's immediate proposal.
"So soon? You don't even know what kind of weapon I am."she said, trying to keep her voice quiet as to not disturb the other patrons. She sat up straight in her chair and cleared her throat. It was time to be professional about this."I don't want to doubt your capabilities, but I think before any decision is made final we should, err, practice using each other. But not in here, it's far too crowded for such activity. When you have more than a moment to spare, I would be glad to step outside and show you my form."Amalie smiled, her thick French accent pouring through her words as she came up with the idea to practice outside. ✙➸ Miki crossed her arms and pouted, she looked at Amalie intensely. She looked at the group over there that was talking about hunting some people, when you work at a café for as long as she did, you develop those eavesdropping techniques. She looked at Fae and shouted across the shop for the keys to the back. Fae gave her a thumbs up and threw the big steel key across the room directly into Miki's expecting hand. When they landed safely in her hand, she motioned for Amalie to follow and went over to the back, passing the counter and the kitchen. When Amalie was right by her, she opened the door and let the sunlight in.
The back room was actually a small garden. It was closed off by the café, that composed two walls of the garden and two other buildings, both two stories tall. The garden was adorned with a few pot plants and a white, wooden bench, perfect for a couple. In front of the bench, a few targets and dummies. Some of the dummies were cut in pieces, some were left untouched. A few targets had holes in them. At the wall where the entrance and the exit to the garden was, a list of all the names of all the DWMA students that worked in that place and their partners. Miki's name was the last one, with nothing written in it. "It's about time I fill out that spot next to my name, right? Here we are away from the world, alone in our own little dimension." She said, once again holding out her hand, now with a courageous face. "I am ready to make this work, if you are too."

Amalie smiled, getting up to follow Miki. She left her coffee, half full, on the table next to the closed newspaper. She followed the green haired girl through the cafe, taking note of what it was like behind the counter. That was one quality that Amalie possessed; keen observation. Perhaps it is in relation to her weapon form....
Amalie was amazed at the garden. She couldn't believe that such a lovely thing was hidden behind the busy cafe.
"You do well at hiding this place. I would have never known it existed."She brushed her hand against one of the potted plants. She thought of her mother for a moment, but then returned her focus back to the present moment. She stepped away from Miki, keeping her back turned. She looked up, taking in a deep breath. She suddenly turned around. She ran her fingers through her pearly white hair, and winked."Get ready to catch me."It was then that Amalie ran forward and stepped up onto the bench and jumped, all in one swift motion. As she leaped into the air into a front flip, she glowed white and was transformed into her weapon; a silver bow with a quiver.
The quiver appeared on Miki's back, and Amalie was in her weapon form."Arrows come from the soul. Like bullets in the guns. If you want an arrow, make it appear."Her voice was muffled a bit, but if the two could strengthen their souls' connections, then Amalie's voice would get clearer. For now, however, it was up to Miki.

✙➸ Miki got ready to catch her. When she leaped into the air, making a front flip, Miki honestly thought it was a beautiful act, how she performed the leap was astonishing, perfectly arching her back. While Miki could do front flips, they were sloopy, her martial arts masters always told her that being nimble is different from doing tricks. Tricks are good in the stage, she had to be strong, but she still admired those who were able to do it.
When Amalie transformed into a bow, Miki felt her entire wavelength jolting, like a shock, in her body, they started off badly, incompatible, but it was clear as day why. Miki breathed deeply and remembered her master's words. "When with your partner, you must change your wavelength the best way as you can. While not being able to change your whole soul, you can make it way easier on him or her by getting into the right mood." Miki closed her eyes and felt her own hear beat. How was she feeling? She felt courageous, ready to lead an army towards a setting sun.
Her master's words came again into her hand, one of her last lessons, the association of the souls. "Courageous souls are bad with nervous and cautious souls, but nervous souls are good with souls that can reassuring souls." Miki took another deep breath and felt like she wanted to make sure Amalie had a great time with her, and not feel pressured.
Now, to test it out. What you normally see is laid back, comedy loving Miki, but actually, while in battle, Miki was a killing machine. She felt her entire soul giving power to her finger tips as she held Amalie with both hands. She drew the arrow with her soul wavelength from the body of the bow to the string and finally pulled it to the utmost maximum. She finally let go. Normal bows slightly rotate the arrow fired, but the rotation wasn't like a bullet and usually altered the target hit and reduced the speed. But Amalie didn't. The arrow rotated perfectly, without bending the body of the arrow, instead of reducing the speed and altering the hit range, it actually made it slightly faster, as it cut the wind in it's path towards the target.
And it hit, right in the middle. The arrow soon dissipated, leaving a hole in the target, right in the middle of it. She wanted to high five Amalie, but she was in her weapon form, so, yeah, later. "Amalie, you are amazing." She said, going back to being bubbly.

malie felt her wavelength change as soon as Miki's did. It felt...different. To date, the only meister who has ever held Amalie was her aunt, and it was only to practice going in and out of form. She was never paired with anyone before like this. It was exciting yet scary all at once. For the first time in her life, Amalie might get to participate in a real battle as a weapon.
Amalie couldn't believe that she was missing this feeling during her entire life. But, again, while she felt strong and powerful, she was also a bit nervous. It was normal, of course. She pushed the negative feelings aside. She needed to try her best to match wavelengths. That was the only way she would be able to perform to the best of her abilities.
Amalie's arrows were something to be admired. While it was up to the meister to perform the accuracy and motion, Amalie was responsible for strength and concentration. If she didn't give it her all, the arrows wouldn't shoot as clean. After Miki's first shoot, Amalie laughed."Merci beaucoup! Your form is wonderful!"Amalie began to glow once again, and was transformed back to her normal self. Her hair was a tad messy, which always happened. She began to fix her hair from the reflection in the window, then straightened her jacket. She turned around to Miki and smiled wide."I think the two of us will work very well. How about it?"She held out her hand for Miki to shake, if the girl agreed to be her new partner.

Before Amatha to listen onto anything she signed the contract and started to drink some of the coffee refreshing her a little bit while listening onto what they where saying. Of course this was a meeting about recent info the relates to them and to others as well. Once Xuza stopped speaking amatha spoke up once after she took another sip of the coffee. Guess my info will do great good to us, and talking about that fable witch from awhile back. She wasn't too keen on talking with me being another witch and all but she is willing to give up all the infomation about her meeting with paradox and other witches that know one of her forms as well. But the thing is she will not give me the information unless all of us or just me and xuza here visited where her home base is and pass some approval by "things" she lives with. She told me where it was but once where there, there is abosulte no fighting at all unless we want to be killed. Now other news I think I heard of a group name ranto, just from small rumors my students others make around. Though I don't vary listen to them very ouften because my way of thinking is going about somewhere else.
Abilities: (Up to 8 ) + Transformation Magic: Since she is part which she can't transform into her weapon form naturally like some users. She has to use Magic to turn into her weapon form and it allows her to use magic even in her weapon form.
+ Summon of the Three Weapon Bards: They are bards which are people who play music in their weapon form. There music can effect someone either with burning them, Poisioning them or making them fall asleep. - Sleeping Bard Alice: With her weapon out of her she can make anyone fall asleep for a good amount of time (and theres a 50 % chance the move will not work on the person)[7 posts]
- Burning Bard Blake: He may look all calm and nice and naturey but he will put who into a blaze for awhile.[3 posts]
- Posion Bard Ultha: his sweet saddening smile brings you to a relax moment but with one sound of his weapon form flute will posion you dear heart [ last 5 posts]
+ Next Level Witches Circle[Soul resonance move with Miester] Next Level is a move where the mister and weapon to soul resonance together and instead of creating a new weapon of herself. Her weapon for disappears and a witches circle gets created around her mister and with three different commands he/or she can hit actual types of magic at the enemie. Fire, Lighting, or Earth.[which throws giant rocks at]
+ Up Grade Witches Circle[Soul resonance move byself] Just being herself can make her go into soul resonance with no mister, but this time it the witches circle surrounds the enemy and does the three types of magic, fire, lighting or earth.

✙➸ Miki took Amalie's hand and shook it, then lifted it and high five'd her doing a mischievous smile. High fives were the incarnation of true companionship. "Hm... Now, I just need Simon to get here, he's my Twin Revolvers. He must be sleeping..." She said, pouting at her phone, apparently he didn't pick it up yet. That was when Fae came from inside the shop and gave Miki a letter. She opened it up and there was a convocation for a mission in Liberia. "Hey, let's go, Amalie! To Liberia!" she said, hyped up to go on their first mission as partners. Miki gave her the letter with the briefing to the mission. Miki fidgeted in place, waiting for the yes, so they could get their things ready for the trip to the African country.
Look who finally dragged his a** out of bed and entered the cafe. After being woken up by the billionth phone call, Simon decided to see what Miki wanted. He looked like crap and honestly needed about 7 years more sleep.
He yawned and scratched his stubbly chin. "Oh I see how it is...replacing me already." He overheated Miki taking in a new partner and Simon was a little hurt.

✙➸ Miki saw the gloomy butt Simon and went after him, grabbing him by the arm and dragging him to the back of the shop, extracting a few giggles from the scene of a little girl dragging a grown man around. Miki was actually really strong, from martial arts training, though it was more something about bases rather than actual arm strength. "You get over here and meet your new partner, it's rude to ignore people like that." She said, closing the door behind her and putting Simon and Amalie face to face. "Amalie, this is Simon, our partner, a Twin Revolvers, he's a wuss, so take care of him. Simon, this is Amalie, our newest partner, she's a Silver Bow, take care of her so no one tries to molest her. And I'll keep watch so *you* don't molest her, you hear me?" She said, brightly presenting them, expecting them to start a great friendship and all work together.
Simon barely got time to get a coffee before he was dragged into the back room by the smaller girl. Damn she had a grip on her and he had no choice to follow her. "Hey wait a second-" He looked at Amalie confused before Miki explained who she was. He felt a vein pop as Miki called him a wuss and suggested molesting. "I'm not a molester! What the heck gave you that impression." He should have stayed in bed.

malie laughed as the girl opted for the "high five" option. The girl was incredibly friendly, Amalie noted. She knew this would make adjusting to life in this new place easier, because at least she had one person to rely on.
Amalie took the briefing letter from Miki, and looked up and Miki, then back down at the letter. She was incredibly surprised."Are you sure we are ready for such a task?"She scanned the letter. She shook her head and lightly chuckled."This mission is mostly undercover, no? My eyesight is beyond that of many so I am sure I can be of help even if I don't fight,"she said, smiling.
Amalie noticed a strange man walk in. Perhaps this was the man she spoke of earlier? She smiled and waved at him."Bonjour monsieur Simon, it is nice to meet you. I'm not familiar with what a wuss is, but I am sorry you suffer from such a condition. I am also not sure what molest means but it sounds very unpleasant, so please try not to do it,"she said, her French accent thicker on the words she didn't know and most likely pronounced incorrectly. The man was strange, she'd admit, but perhaps he could be trusted as well. Amalie hadn't realized how much of the English language she didn't know, so maybe spending time with these two would help her improve her vocabulary.

Emit let out a cough before giving them an idea he had. "I have an idea that might work. If we are going to catch paradox, wouldn't it be smarter to look in the underworld?" He suggested, the underworld only allowed Demons, witches, things of that topic. "I want to suggest since what i am can allow me access into the netherworld, i can try to pick up on her last documented location and search for her from their." He said suggesting they utilize emit in this. Emit has the ability to track people and has the strength needed in case he gets into a confrontation. Though its not promised he'll withstand in a fight with paradox, he can at least try to find her. "Xuza, if i can find her i'll find a way to send a message to you."
