Why do they want to join?: Although somewhat backlogged by now, Amaryllis and her father chanced upon the Pridelands and a kind member named Shaji. After her mother died soon after childbirth, her father became very paranoid and never let them stay anywhere for long out of fear that she would be harmed and he would lose her too. It took some convincing but at last (they thought) the Pridelands could be a safe home.
(And then Saffy laughed and laughed and laughed)

After running into a... somewhat nice lion (Na'resh is hard to impress) named Shaji he was convinced that this might be the perfect chance to give his daughter the life he never had.
To his credit, this place was pretty chill when they first got here okay.
