Anyone noticed how messed up Demona and Cassies Families are? >.> No wonder Demona loves the Garghastians so much! I have to send Cassie this item, because it has her name in it! Its so cute! My weakness for cassie is oversized shirts/sweaters because they are so comfy and Chubby babies in sweaters are adorable.. just babies in sweaters are adorable... I now want to draw Demona and Cass in oversized sweaters whee

Akito Fox To put your mind at ease if you didn't know, the Sidhe and the Wild Hunt are all from Celtic Mythology. However the Wild Hunt are the pups of Scathach, the powerful witch that some very famous and legendary Celtic warriors have gone to, to seek guidance. Warriors among her crew were legends like Chú Chulainn and in some songs, Brian Boru the first (and poor) king of Ireland. Also some teensy little tidbits that Brian married a Selkie, which was how he came to power so quickly. I geeked. Actually, the Wild Hunt is a concept developed by Jacob Grimm. It was based on comparative mythology because multiple European groups had legends/myths revolving supernaturals hunts. These European regions include Britain(Saxon, Celts, etc), Germanic tribes, and Scandinavian myths. The German hunts were often lead by a figure based on their God of the Dead or a figure based on the goddesses Freya or Frigg. The Scandinavian ones were supposed to have been lead by Odin. Interestingly, the Odin hunts were rarely seen but heard instead. Other regions with their own variations of the Wild Hunt are Italy, parts of Spain, France, and western Slavic countries. I always find it interesting how multiple peoples can come up very similar mythologies. Also, there seems to be a revolving door for who leads the Hunts depending on region. Fun stuff! biggrin

This is too fun not to do with everyone. Hellene's appearance is loosely based on a girl I knew in college. She's a professional milliner now and is making me a hat. Another big inspiration for her character is Veronica Mars. I have no idea who Hellene's father is. I've never really thought about it. Or the logistics of how she has so very many sisters. A group of harpies is called a matriarchy. This might not be official, it's from WoW, but I like it so much and it works so perfectly with how I view Hellene's family that I've decided to go with it. I may never come up with a dad for Hellene. Hellene's older sister Melpomene (Melly for short), is best friends with Nefera. Melly is constantly whinging and whining, constantly put upon by the world and complaining about everything. Melpomene is the Greek muse of tragedy. Another of Hellene's older sisters is Ocypete. Ocypete was one of the original three harpies, and the fastest, but when the harpies were chased by the Boreads, Ocypete became exhausted the most quickly and landed on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean. Which is why Ocypete is a grad student who has sequestered herself away in the Grimalayas. Hellene doesn't know how drive a car. Harpies fly everywhere, which is also why she's preternaturally strong. Harpies have basically carried everything everywhere since forever. Driving is something for ground-dwelling monsters. She does, however, know how to drive a moped. Hellene's color scheme and love of shiny/sparkly things is based on the magpie.

Kai Merha Melody Nocturna She found out Kai was her cousin through Draconia and that her uncle Mehra was actually the brother of her adoptive father. Their dads are cousins (that's why they have two different last names), so Melody and Kai are technically second cousins. That side of the family has the most interesting reunions. xd Thanks Kai! Out of all my character's Tori is the most well rounded of the bunch. Her hair was originally based off of these 90's dolls. Only much BIGGER and out of control. Thankfully that changed when Drakie Draw her Profile art. heart she was meant to turn to stone when in sunlight, thus, uses the catacombs for transportation... but I needed to phase that out for many reasons. sweatdrop She lives with her extended family in a large caves system. This is based on my life when I was a child most of my relatives lived in my house. Each family has an "apartment" while the main room is for everyone, like the lobby of a hotel. She is a very tall and active, out doors ghoul. Her mother makes her clothes for her, since she's always destroying them. Also based on my childhood, Mom made my clothes too. heart She's a gymnast, best spot is the uneven bars. This is due to her using tree branches as equipment.

Demona and Cassie's lives very much mirror my own, In fact Down to the way the two look mirror myself. Demona's eyes are green like mine, and her eye shape is similar to mine, but thinner Cassies eyes are purple, Ive always wanted purple eyes, and her eye shape is rounder then mine. Demona's nose is pointed and thin and Cassie has a cute button nose just like me. Demona has dark dark brown hair (like mine) and Cassie Has blondish almost white hair and pink (sometimes pink and blue since shes a bubblegum bae) And I want that hair color so badly. But Cassie's Body shape is kinda pear shaped very curvy and demonas is an hourglass. (im on the chubby side like cass) Cassies lip shape is very plump and rounded and Demonas is a little thinner and heart shaped, where as mine are a little bit of both These two, ARE me. Cassie's personality is who I am. Shy, severe social anxiety and depression. And Demona is Who I want to be. Confidant, sassy, a BAMF ... This is a thingy I drew of myself and You can see the Demona and Cass aspects AND there is a quick (AND I MEAN QUICK WHICH IS WHY IT LOOKS CRAPPY) photo of Mona and Cass in the fanarts place

Hellene Harpie Hellene's color scheme and love of shiny/sparkly things is based on the magpie. Hellene really works great with the Barton and Checkmate color schemes, just like this item!

Draconia St George Astrid Fantasy Hmm I cant find anything REELY nice that I want for Nekki so... chefs choice! I updated Akitos wishlist. Almost everything on your wishlists have either no listings or are out of my price range. However, I hope this matches Astrid's white/rainbow hairdo! I'm considering combining ALL my gold between all four of my accounts (astrid, nekki, akito, Generous Lucifurge) to get those astra tails <3 theyre just so Agh<3 Nekki's list is empty because I haven't quite found anything nice that fits her. Astrids wardrobe is made almost purely from CMYK lol. for reasons. AND THANK YOU

I feel the Pain, I've had to Change Damon's color scheme to fit into the Chessmate scheme, which is too bright a blue but theres no like dark dark blue
