Weapon Description: An odachi with a telescoping blade that can extend to twice the length of the sheath through the use of a trigger built into the hilt. The blade and sheath design is made so that the blade is charged with dust when held in a ready stance for drawing, allowing dust-based attacks when Zack quick-draws the weapon. The sheath holds 4 dust chambers on a revolving drum, allowing quick and easy dust selection while in combat. Designed and crafted by a friend, it is Zack's most precious possession. By constantly maintaining the weapon, it has saved his skin more times than he can remember. The blade is more than just a tool to him, it is a partner with a life all its own. As an added feature, the sheath has a built in thruster, powered by red dust, that serves a dual purpose.
When in a ready stance for one of his Iaijutsu strikes, the thruster can also be charged for a post to allow him to close a large distance with his next strike, his speed and power being enhanced from the momentum generated from the thruster going off. The thruster can also be charged, then used on Duo, who can fit onto the end of it like he were a RPG. With a full post to charge the shot, a flaming Duo can be launched with immense speed and bounce off of multiple opponents if they are within 8 feet of each other, up to a maximum of 4 times, or just hit one enemy with the force of a cannon ball, possibly sending them flying depending on their size. Any enemies hit by the little guy while on fire will suffer second degree burns.
Weapon Range: Short-Mid

Any generally straight bladed double edged sword large enough that it required the use of two hands to wield it effectively.
"Sorry, but I do not think your weapon resembles a greatsword."

The odachi is the Japanese equivalent to the greatsword. Averaging out to about 8'9'', the weapon was designed to overpower opponents with weapon weight and strength.
Ok I like the idea alot but I need a second opinion before I can judge this. a question for you: What rank will the user be?

I would say it is too thin to be a greatsword, you can put odachi in the weapon section instead of greatsword if you want. Except for that this is approved

Well I was thinking about freelance warrior, but to me that seems to not be enough for the capabilities for this weapon.

Sorry but it may be considered a greatsword but it classifies as a long sword.

Ok so here are my thoughts on your weapon:
- ammo will have to be capped in accordance with the guild system so
both pistols: 6 shots 6 reloads
Gatling gun: 60 shots 2 reloads
all 3 rifles: 8 shoots 4 reloads
and will have to share that ammo so you have 66 shots between both pistols ect. There is a thread in the beginners handbook with info on dust and ammo which you NEED to read.
- you will be allowed one dust slot for the whole weapon, 4 is way too many because of all the guns
- I dont like the idea of the sheath being used as a sword as that would count as a weapon config
- "Also this weapon comes with two different styled Clips that are named Type A and Type B clips. Type A clips are capable of having normal rounds as well as Dust Crystal rounds placed within them, this clip type can only hold 30 rounds. The Type B clip is more like a battery than an actual clip, but this clip is powered only by dust sand." this is not nessesary and sand dust is not available to anyone at this point so i'm afraid he can not used this.
- with the maintenence and ammo re-load posts this is fine just make sure you remember to do them and there wont be a problem here
- as you have said he would need alot of stats to use this weapon to the best of his ability so a freelance, huntsmen or even teacher would be fine.
-remember for his profile your character will have bladed, blunt and gun dust masteries
I must say though I really like this weapon and I appreciate the hard work and the art that has gone into it smile I really want to see this thing in action IC XD
- A sheild sheath would count as a weapon config, so you would have to add that to the weapon list.
That's the only thing I see that's needs to be done now, thankyou for being patient and understanding. I was worried because of the amount of info, there would be alot more to deal with o_O
looking at jade's stats I do have to point out we will be able to use each config at maybe a student level each, maybe less as 2-3 stats are average levels. it will mean having your character going through an academy but him being a huntsmen will give him 5 extra stat points

After looking through the weapon, the only thing I really have to say would be to have it so that either weight or durability are a weakness for it. You trade one for the other when making anything. By making it heavier, you're under less of a threat to internal damage from strong blows, at the cost of slower attacks/counters/what have you.
With the lighter weight, a stronger opponent will be more likely to deal internal damage to the weapon, the higher the opponent's strength stat, the higher the chance. That's my opinion on the situation, so please consider which option you would like to take.

Well if you truly looked through it than you would have seen that it needs constant maintenance, so it usually means that it takes on internal damage, but I could re-edit it again and make it OP by going with weight as its weakness and getting rid of its constant maintenance as well as the post duration that comes with it.
