This was going to take time, learning to pace things, and how to do things. There was no manual on dating, and if there was it should be burnt. Everyone was different and they hadn't known each other long, they didn't know each other all that well, there would be a lot to learn about each other including likes and dislikes. There would be fights over things, or at least disagreements, he knew it. For now though it was good, it was new and shiny and he'd enjoy it while it lasted. They'd talk, they'd have to, the first of many he was sure. But what happened, what they should discuss, he'd wing it.
This was one secret he'd be keeping from everyone, including his sister and cousin. He had no intention of telling his family, they didn't even know of his preferences. He could only hope no one would find out - ever. He didn't want to deal with that and he hoped Terry would understand if it came up ever.
The kiss the other pressed to his lips was shy and it remained shy and gentle as it was returned by Venice. He wasn't going to rush things, this wasn't what he was used to and thus would be treated as it should be - with respect. This was something to go about slowly, something he'd learn and work on. He'd let the other set the pace, or so he was thinking already. Drawing back, a small smile in place, he ruffed the others hair gently.
"Dinner tonight?" He asked, or offered really.

Telling his family never even crossed his mind yet. It wouldn't be later until it would, though he would be more willing to let his family know then Seung, having the reassurance that they knew of his sexuality already and didn't care.
When the kiss ended Erebus smiled back though he gave the other an amused look for the hair ruffle. He had a feeling that would not end up changing now that they were dating in the least. "Dinner sounds wonderful." He readily agreed. Maybe they would have the chance to talk more then or a bit before hand.

"Where for food?" Some place the other thought of, someplace American or at least not Korean, or some place in Korea town. That was what he was asking, he was open to either option. He just didn't know where as he was unfamiliar with the normal places in the city and didn't know what he liked either. He was still new to the food here, very new. He had a feeling, a very strong one, that it would change in time.
Looking for something to do, and remembering where they were, he did go to collect some of the little trinkets from the floor to place on the old, ancient, dresser. His dark eyes moving every so often to the other to stare and try and read him. This was new to him and he wanted to watch the other, see what he might be thinking. Would this change things and what? He was trying to find out, to see the changes.

"Hmm, I'll think of something." He said with a thoughtful look. Maybe they could go to some place like Olive Garden. It wouldn't be American or Korean but it had the potential to be a semi-private dinner with some of the alcove room seating. He wasn't however sure if Venice had eaten any Italian food yet so maybe that one American Diner as a back up. He would think up a list and run it by the other before they left.
When the other male moved away and started to pick up the figurines, Erebus followed and started to help with it, though he pocketed one of the smaller ones to take back with them like Venice suggested earlier. His eyes were also drawn to the other as he worked and he found himself frequently catching eyes with him and when it happened he would offer a small smile.

Each time their eyes met he found himself looking away, after the other would smile, a light pink color dusting his cheeks. This wasn't odd though, it was warming if nothing else. He rather liked it actually. By the time he'd picked up the last figurine by him, and was walking to the dresser to put it down, there was a nice collection of them.
"Had a lot of these." He observed with a smile, touching a few gently. They were old, very old. They gave an idea of what the previous Erebus liked and that was telling, at least he thought it was.
"Should eat soon - you brought lunch?" He asked, thinking about the lunch he'd brought. That brought about thoughts of what he had to drink and he moved toward the bag he'd let rest on the floor at some point, better than keeping it over his shoulder as he picked up the trinkets from the floor. Pulling out the little container of banana milk he popped the straw in and sipped it before taking out a water bottle to offer the other. "Thirsty?"

Every time the other would look away with a blush, his smile grew, finding it rather adorable. Erebus moved to put the ones he collected on to the dresser as well, fingers lingering on one of them in particular though he didn't notice. "Yes I did. I wonder what they all are for, why I started to collect them, when I started. So many questions and so very few answers right now." It was half disappointing but also half exciting. It was like a treasure hunt for answers almost, one that couldn't be solved with out gaining more memories he was sure.
"Yes, I brought a few different kinds of sandwiches and pretzels." They were easy to keep cool and transport and it was easy to avoid any kinds of nuts with them. When Venice offered the water he nodded and took it. "Thank you I was getting thirsty." He opened it up and took a few sips. He then looked over at the bed and gave it a somewhat doubtful look. "It might be best if we ate on the floor. I brought a sheet with me so we could have it picnic style."

"Might find out. But they tell some things." He said nodding his head gently. "Many collect what they like - a common theme. Also precious, time spent on them." The care which went in to keep them clean, maybe organized in a certain way. Maybe some were gifts from others who knew about the collection? Many things could be figured out and many questions could come up also. Things to find out in the future, if the other was lucky.
Nodding his head he looked about before deciding to point toward the bed. "Lean against it." Use it to lean against while they sat on the floor. "Brought food also." And juice for himself as well. It looked like they'd both come prepared and that was good. Venice was glad to know how prepared they both were to spend time here and in case anything happened. He needed to think of lights for his wonder as well, a flashlight wasn't a good enough light source. He'd likely do the same as Erebus next time he went to his wonder.
"Want help?"

"True, very true." Erebus said and nodded his head as he studied the little figurines. There were different shapes and sizes, some that looked humanoid and others that looked like animals. Unfortunately the rust was bad enough that it was hard to make out a lot. He looked over at the bed when Venice pointed and gave a hum in agreement. Leaning against it should be fine at least. "Sure, I'll set up the sheet if you start getting the food out and I'll help when I'm done, okay?" He gave a quick smile then dug out the sheet from his pack and started to spread it out onto the ground near the foot of the bed.

Nodding his head he pulled out his own lunch and juice, as he was almost done with the banana milk he had. From there he went to check the others pack for the food Erebus had brought, pulling out the others lunch he looked it over for a moment. Everything had been set aside, his food and Erebus', as he'd pulled it from the packs. His juice bottle also was on the ground with his lunch box. From his bag he also pulled out his extendable chop sticks.
Each thing was slowly brought over toward where the sheet was being set up for them both. This little indoor picnic would be nice, peaceful really. He doubted there would a quiet enough place, where nothing would interrupt, back in Destiny City. So many people plus all the things he'd read about online before moving there. The city seemed plagued with all manner of things ruining the cities events and general peace.

Once he was finished making sure the sheet was settled he went and helped Venice with the food. Between the two it didn't take very long for them to have everything set up and he sat down against the foot of the bed with a small smile. "I wasn't sure if you would bring anything so I brought enough pretzels to share and this is for you." He said and passed the other a wrapped up sandwich. Since he wasn't sure what the other liked on his sandwiches he had brought along a few condiment packages as well.

"Oh! Yes, brought food with me." Like he had when he'd gone to his own wonder. He thought it the best idea, and if he didn't he figured he might get scolded by Erebus. He had the feeling, now more than earlier, that if he didn't take care of himself he'd get scolded, gently, and than coddled some. The offering of food, something he was sure he'd never had before, was met with a smile and a short, barely there, bow of thanks before he opened his own food. "Can try some if you want." He offered in return.
His short, for the moment, metal chop sticks were placed inside his own food, but not stabbed into the rice, as he went to unwrap the food he'd been given.

Well he was certainly glad that Venice seemed to be taking a bit better care of himself, at least food wise. He smiled back and started to unwrap his own sandwich, moving the condiment packets with in reach of them both just in case. "Thank you, I might try some then." He also opened the pretzel bag and moved it close to them both as well. He might be a bit determined to make sure Venice was fully recovered from when he was over working himself.

Looking to the offering of pretzels and that the sandwich the other had opened, and the one for himself, he went to slowly, hesitantly, take a nibble. It wasn't anything he was used to eating. He really had a feeling he'd be eating, and trying, more American foods as time went on. Not a bad thing, of course not, but unexpected by him.
Nibbling the sandwich in one hand he flicked his chop sticks with the other so they extended. With them extended and locked into place, as they did upon extending fully, he swallowed the bit of sandwich, nodding his head in approval, before grabbing some rice. After he'd had a bit of rice he offered something, a vegetable mix, to the other with the sticks. "Bread is different..." Not as sweet as he was used to, what they used to make bread he wasn't sure but it was very different.

Erebus watched the other as he tried the sandwich for his reaction. At least he didn't seem like he disliked it. "Oh? What type of bread are you used to?" He asked out of curiosity. There were different types of breads that he had tried in his life as well but he tended to save some of the more flavorful ones for special occasions. Normally for a simple sandwich he would stick to normal white or sourdough bread. He then thanked Venice and tried the offered rice and vegetables. "It's good thank you." He took a sip of hi water and a bite of his sandwich as he waited for Venice to answer his question.

"Sweet...made with rice flour." He explained. This wasn't rice flour...it was something else. He was used to sweet bread. Maybe he could bring some back for the other to try? That was an idea and he would do his best to remember it. "Use rice flour a lot." For a lot of things, it gave a different texture as well, which he mentioned after another bite of the sandwich. It wasn't bad but it was very different for him. Yes, he would bring some bread from home back with him for Erebus to try.
"I will bring bread for you to try." Was there anything else he could bring for the other to try? Well, he was thinking of lunar near year peaches, he was planning on a few for himself if he could - they were terribly expensive but so good! He knew they were bought mostly for special occasions, especially lunar new year, but they were much better quality. The care the farmers put into them showed.
