Aiden nodded a little, carefully dodging through the crowd as they walked. Up ahead there seemed to be a department store... they could go in there, first. "I think I see a place up ahead... and oh, Mira, you don't need to buy me anything.. I appreciate the thought." She squeezed her hand again, then moved off to the side as a larger group started to pass by.
"It's awfully busy out here..." She sighed, looking around for a clear path-- and then froze. Someone up ahead caught her attention - someone clearly not human... The figure was coming their way, and something about them was eerily familiar and sent a chill of fear down her spine.
"...Mira, I think we should leave."

Mirabelle was having fun talking with Aiden and anticipated going shopping with her. She laughed a bit as Aiden told her she didn't have to buy her anything. She was starting to feel more relaxed, spending time with Aiden like she used to when they were kids.
Then she felt something.. fear.
Mirabelle halted her movement, coming to stand beside Aiden, then turned to look at her as if she could see her face. "What's wrong?" she asked as she then looked about, she scanned the auras before them, trying to read them all which started to make her head hurt. She couldn't see anything out of the ordinary and just remained confused. She tried to move her body to get closer to Aiden to comfort her but her body had frozen up a bit and her grasp had tightened on Aiden's hand.
'Something is very wrong.'
"Please be more descriptive, Satya." she commanded aloud in a normal tone.
'I can't tell. But you should leave.'
She turned her body to completely face Aiden, "What does Aiden see?" she asked, her voice a little more frantic as both her Mane and sibling were no longer okay with the situation. She was becoming scared very quickly and the feeling wouldn't stop.
The yellow-eyed succubus tailed behind the taller dark incubus, her eyes darting back and forth playfully as they had exited an abandoned building not too long ago. Making their way down the street she smirked, "So did you have fun last night, or what?" she asked, knowing it would get under his skin.

"Let it go, Obscurite." Kagyaku's voice was filled with warning as the irritation from bringing up the topic rose suddenly. She knew better than to bring it up. He rolled his eyes -- casting his vision out over the crowd ahead... and then something caught his attention. A familiar shade of green - a glint of glass in the sunlight... A wide grin spread across his features. "If you shut up I'll let you come join me for a game~." He started in their direction, red eyes locked onto the panic face of a certain green-haired girl.
----------------------
"It's-- Mira, we have to go, NOW." She gripped Mirabelle's hand tightly, and then turned to start walking quickly through the crowds, zig-zagging between passers-by as she attempted to get them far away.
"Do you remember when we were in the hedge maze..? We were attacked - you said you could see him." She glanced back, and noted that the large Incubus was following them - eyes locked on. "He's here. He's following us."

Obscurite laughed in jest at her prodding at his irritation. She opened her mouth to jab again when he seemed to stop. Something had caught his eye, made him grin, something that excited her as she followed his gaze to two beings who were obviously Metas. A game. Her grimace widened. "Deal." she simply replied, more than willing to join in on the fun, following directly behind Kagyaku in persuit of the two green-haired Metas. "A special interest I take it?" she inquired, grinning wildly, hoping it was someone they could kill. It had been a long time since she had taken the life of another being. Since she was able to cause a great deal of agony upon a living creature.
-------------------------
Mirabelle half stumbled as they suddenly turned to run. She kept a tight hold of Aiden as the panic began to set in for whatever unknown situation they had found themselves in. Aiden began to explain to her the situation, her mind began to fleet back to the time she had first encountered him, being dragged across the ground by a shadow. She remembered what he looked like and how he had carved her name into her arms, scars that had faded over time but were still visible if you really looked. Mirabelle whipped her head around, searching for the figure she had seen that day. All she could see were auras of normal people and no malices or manes in sight. "Satya!" she exclaimed to herself.
'I can feel something, but I don't know where it is. I can't see it. Just run, it's not worth it!'
Mirabelle was in full panic mode as both her Mane and sibling were distressed over the spirit being there but she could not see them. She knew it was of no fault of her own, she could still see spirits, just not the one Aiden had described. "Mira can't see them!" she called to Aiden, doing her best to keep up pace as she kept her tight grip on her hand. She knew that if she let go, she'd easily become prey to whatever was chasing them.

Oh, a chase. Unlike the two Metas before them, Kagyaku had no trouble shoving people aside as he continued to tail the twins. "Oh yes. I've already met one of them, quite the fun pet to play with. Filth had to ruin the game, of course..." He snorted, tail lashing with excitement - hard enough to whip a nearby person as he passed. The sense of pain the person gave off only excited him further.
----------------------
"That's f-fine, Mira, we'll worry about it when we're safe." Aiden maintained her tight grip on her sister, giving up looking back at their pursuers in favor of speeding up their pace a little. As long as she kept out of the huge crowds, Mira should be fine to keep up with her.
"Mira, we're going to have to run. We have to get back to the Sanctuary but we need to lose them first..." She looked around, desperate for a place to lose them - ah, up ahead, a few carts with goods were about to pass by on a way to what she could only assume was a market. She turned down the road towards them, steadily picking up her pace despite the pain it caused her legs.

Obscurite shoved people aside as they ran, burning people as she went for those who didn't move out of her way fast enough. She was absolutely wild with bloodlust as she understood what Kagyaku was getting at. "This time, no one stand in the way!" she exclaimed excitedly. What were those two thinking trying to run from them, the chase only made it more fun. "There's two of us, let's make them split up." she suggested as she gave a wink at Kagyaku and darted down an alleyway at full speed. She intended to try to cut them off at the pass, or at least get them rattled with a surprise attack.
-----------------------------
"Right!" Mirabelle did her best to keep up, it was difficult to continue running as she was unable to see dips or objects that lay before them as she stumbled quite often, but she managed. She wanted to offer a suggestion on where to go but she was extremely unfamiliar with the city and had lost track of where they were during all the commotion.

"Pick one as your target~" He followed after Obscurite, moving a little slower as he was not one to rush to the kill... besides, of one of them was blind - that much he remembered. They'd catch them eventually. Patience was all that was needed.
-------------
They were splitting up - she had spared one look back... what to do - what do to.. She really didn't want to cause much of a scene, but if they kept up their pursuit she would have to utilize the glass around them. "Mira, get ready to run." She gave her sister another moment to take in what she'd said, and then picked up her pace, dodging in between the carts as they passed. Before the carts moved too far, she ducked into a side-alley with an exit at the other end to continue running.
"If they keep following us I'm going to have to use my powers and-- it will not end well." Oh, her legs hurt - terribly bad as she felt the glass portions threaten to crack but she had to keep moving - had to get Mira to safety.

"I'll take the one with the most fight in them. They are always the best to tear down." she grinned, honing in on Aiden, the one who was leading the way between the two girls. Obscurite thought as she ran after them, she needed a way to split them up, it wouldn't take much. They were already panicked and it seemed separating them would cause a great deal of turmoil. Obscurite cackled as she bridged the gap quickly. It wouldn't be long now. 'Yes, keep running from the inevitable.' she was estatic for the hunt as she ducked down a cross street then re-emerged at the same intersection as them, suddenly shoulder checking Aiden hard, knocking her to the ground. "Tag, you're it!" she grimaced murderously at Aiden.
------------------
Mirabelle was becoming out of breath quickly, she hadn't been this active in a very long time. She nodded as she readied herself to start running again. "Mira can defend a little, but she doesn't have any powers to fight with." she explained quickly. Cooperation would be key in this situation. She was scared but relied on Aiden to work together to get to safety. Then a wave of pain hit her as Aiden's hand was ripped from hers. "Aiden!" she cried out suddenly, searching the auras around her to try to locate hers. She noticed two auras possibly knocked prone, but she couldn't be sure. Her body froze up, her safety net gone as she tried to distinguish from frantic passerbyer and Aiden's aura. "Aiden!!!" she cried out again, hysteria setting a full course in her mind.

Of course she would. Not like it mattered, he remembered enjoying playing with the blind one anyway. He caught up with them just as Aiden was knocked over, pleased with the crunching sound she made when she hit the ground. "My my, what do we have here?" He honed in on Mirabelle, red eyes flashing with excitement as his tail lashed out to whip her across her back.
"Keep making a scene like that and it'll just get worse~" He had no intention of it not getting worse, of course, but it was always so much easier to play with his toys when they stopped attracting the attention of human authorities.
-----------------
The sudden hit to her shoulder had been completely unexpected - where had she come from!? She toppled over, feeling several portions of her body snap from the sudden hit to the ground. Unable to stop herself, she emitted a small cry of pain - despite being a Still Life her tough skin power had never worked correctly. "MIRA, RUN!" She cried out, begging her sister to flee before things got too bad - not that it had worked before with the very same person but any chance that she might get to safety was better than none.
Her own powers were more offensive than Mira's, better equipped for doing damage. She pushed herself up, propped on one arm as she raised a hand to snag the nearby glass from windows, shattering it until it came free and collected around her. "Stay. Away." She eyed the girl that had knocked her over, and the tall man that had lashed out at Mira - she couldn't take them both, she knew that... but anything to buy time. Anything at all.

She heard her sister cry out, urging her to run. Memories flashed back in her mind, the same scenario from when they were kids. Someone knocking down Aiden, being told to run, never truly escaping, it was all so inevitable. She was older now, could she really try to take them on now. She would have been able to deflect the attack against her had she been able to see it coming, but she was taken by surprise as something lashed hard against her back and she stumbled forward, as she felt the ground coming much closer than she had wanted. She had fallen to her hands and knees from the jerk of her body caused by the strike. Her body was shaking, but she had to at least try to stand her ground, despite being at a disadvantage and not having the proper powers to attack with, she pushed herself to a shaky stand. She turned toward an aura that looked a bit out of place as she looked like she was ready to fight, though her body language may have shown something else entirely.
--------------------------------
Obscurite was thrilled at the panic encited upon the two Metas, she straightened up, approaching Aiden slowly, her grin growing with every step. "I don't think you realize how ******** you are, my dear?" her eyes widened with immense excitement as she lifted her hand and a bright flame erupted within it. "I'm going to enjoy shaping you into something worthy of calling my pet." she snorted with enthusiastic anticipation to watch the fear set in. "Show me how scared you are, and I might have a little mercy on you."

Aiden stared at the flame in the woman's hand - how hot would it get...? Could she feasibly burn her? She could probably melt the glass she'd brought from the windows if she heated it enough, but Aiden herself was made of far more heat-resistant materials.. She glanced back to Mira, worry overtaking her- the other demon had struck her down before she could move.
Functioning purely on instinct, she reached out to take Mira's hand again, gripping it tightly. "I warned you to stay away!" She cried out as she launched her glass outward - knowing the one with the fire might deflect it or get rid of it but the other...?
------
Honestly he was too reckless when he got into the mood, so he should have seen that coming. Metas were difficult creatures, this one was no different. The glass embedded itself into him - moving too fast for him to have a chance at bringing his arm up to defend his face. He let out a hiss, distracted long enough by having to pry it out of his face and down his torso - ah well, Obscurite could deal with them immediately. Once he began removing the shards, his regeneration began - repairing the wounds as if nothing had ever happened.

Obscurite hadn't expected Aiden to move her attack to Kagyaku as the glass flew in that direction. She snarled with anger, "Hey! Your fight is with me, you little pip-squeak!!" she hissed as the flame in her hand grew bigger. "Two can play that game!!" she shouted as she turned her focus on the other girl who was facing Kagyaku, seemingly unaware of what was happening. Obscurite's grimace grew devilishly wider as the gears clicked into place in her mind. "...oh, so she's blind."
Mirabelle felt Aiden's hand grip hers tightly. She felt much more confident about fighting now though she knew they were at a disadvantage. She heard Kagyaku hiss as though he was hurt. She knew she only had a few moments to make a decision. Stay or fight?
"SATYA!!" she screamed as her eyes narrowed in indignation, the wind picking up lightly around her. Mirabelle used her shared her power to see the best course of action. If they stayed, they would definitely be killed. If they ran, they could make it, but she'd have to use her other powers to get them there without being followed back to the academy.
"We have to run." her voice was different for a moment as she looked determined and commanding. She turned and began to ran straight towards Obscurite, pulling Aiden with her in a hurry.
"What the ******** do you think you are doing!?" she exclaimed angrily, confused at the sudden change in attitude from the blind girl. "No matter.." Obscurite began to laugh as she launched two fireballs at them.
Mirabelle gritted her teeth as she deflected the first fireball, but couldn't stop the second one as it burned her arm. Damage that she had planned on risking, the other choice was death and she knew this would be a temporary pain. As soon as she was past the fire, she focused on Obscurite's aura and launched herself to shoulder check her, knocking her down hard and kept running. Quickly darting behind a corner. As soon as they were out of sight, she closed her eyes tightly, concentrating hard. "Don't let go of Mira." she commanded as another image of the two of them materialized next to them and began to run down a different alleyway. Mirabelle then began to run the opposite way.
"What the ********.... YOU b***h!" she screamed as she jumped to her feet, snarling, darting off down the alley. She caught a glimpse of them and took off after the fake girls easily duped by the magic. "GET BACK HERE! YOU ARE SO GOING TO PAY FOR THIS!!!!" Obscurite screeched as she ran to catch up. Eventually, she'd figure out that it was fake and she'd be even more pissed, setting fire to quite a bit before calming down only slightly.

Aiden prepared herself for the worst, hardening her skin as much as she could -- but suddenly she was being pulled - Mira was running, still holding her hand. She held on for dear life, trying not to think too much about what was going on. They were fleeing and the fire woman was chasing after them. She pulled the glass out of some windows as they passed, though not in time to shield one of the fireballs. It hit Mira, which caused Aiden to cry out in pain as well -- she'd forgotten that they shared physical feeling as well.
She kept her new shield up, watching carefully for the woman as they ran. Thankfully, she followed the mirror images, and not them. "Mira, sh-she went after the mirrors..." She panted, losing her breath from all of the running. They just had to make it back to the sanctuary, that was all...
--------------------
Kagyaku was in no condition to run after them, of course. He ended up ducking into a nearby dark patch to finish his regeneration and wait for Obscurite to return with their prizes.

Mira just kept running, her legs were ready to give out, but she couldn't quit now. Not until they made it to the sanctuary. Just to get back to Rhun, he would surely know what to do. "Mira predicted that would happen." she explained, the gates of the sanctuary were getting closer, she could just feel it. Her grip on Aiden was tight, she was determined to get them both to safety. Mirabelle hadn't judged the distance well as she slammed against the gates forcefully, grabbing onto them with her free hand. She cried out in slight pain, looking for someone's aura, anyone's aura. "RHUN!!!" she screamed out trying to understand how to get around the gate as her panic began to catch up to her.
---------------------------------
Obscurite managed to bridge the gap quickly but once the two rounded a corner, Obscurite ran after and they were gone. "********!" she screamed out in frustration. She searched for a bit then returned to Kagyaku. "The little shits got away." she stated matter-of-fact. "GOD DAMMIT!" she shouted again and punched at a wall, not hard enough to do damage, just to show that she was mad about letting them escape.

They crashed into the gates, causing a new spiderweb of pain to erupt from her body. It took her a moment to reorient herself, but when she did she fumbled with the gate latch until she managed to open it, then pulled Mira inside. Once they were both in, she shut the gate again and then started running towards the main building. "We're almost there, Mira!" Hopefully Rhun would have something to take care of the wounds they'd suffered....
-----------------------------
So she'd lost them. Well, that was disappointing. "What, the blind girl was too clever for you?" He snickered a little, though he was just as blind at the moment. "They were Metas, you know.... and hanging around here of all places...." He trailed off, waiting to see if she could connect the dots...
