Cody did move towards her but seeing that she practically collasped into a fetal position infear made him worry, "Look, its not what you think... im not going to hurt you i swear!" He said but it was hard to think of what to say, "Fine... its no use, I dont know what to say so here... just dont tell anyone!" he said waiting till she watched as he shifted into his tiger form. His clothes turning into fur as after a few moments the white tiger that had saved her life was now sitting on its hind legs as if it were an oversized house cat, waiting for her to react.

Emily glanced over at him when he talked. Maybe she was acting too much like a child but what else was she supposed to do? She looked at him curious, what did he mean by not telling anyone? As she watched the transformation in front of her, her eyes widened, jaw dropped. Was she seeing right? Or had she been knocked out and is dreaming now. She pinched herself to test it. It hurt, meaning she wasn't dreaming "What the hell!!" Emily stood straight up, finding only those three words to say to him. This is the tiger she saw, she wasn't crazy. And he lied to her, but for good reason. She was still afraid to go near it, even though she knew it wouldn't hurt her, "Umm....good boy?" she told him as she inched towards him while holding her hand out

Cody looked up at her in his tiger form, seeing that she gently inched towards him but he gently moved to her, rubbing his head against her hand gently, she could feel the soft fur on his head. He soon moved away from her after a bit and shifted back into his human form, adjusting his shirt as he stood up, "So I hope that it explains a bit more, and I believe that you would have questions huh?" He asked curiously to her.

As soon as she made contact, Emily smiled. His fur was soft and it felt warm. She almost tried to latch onto it as he pulled away but managed to hold back. She looked around one more time, then pointed to the sink, "Is that human blood or animal blood?" "What were you dragging? Your latest kill? You aren't going to eat me now that I know right? Please don't eat me, I don't taste very good."

Cody looked at her when she spoke, seeing that she was on the verge of freaking out with her questions, "Yes, I killed a deer, but after getting the meat that I like, the loins and such, I took the body out to the edge of the wolf's territory because they usually scavenge whats left. So that is deer blood, not human blood, the clog was closed so I forgot to empty it. And no I don't eat people." He stated simply to her.

This was all hard to swallow, at least he didn't kill any people. She fell back on her butt, trying to calm down. Emily was trying her best not to freak out and do something crazy, "I uh, never eaten deer mean before. Do you at least cook it?" Okay now she was talking crazy to this guy who could turn into a tiger. [sorry about short post.]

He watched as she sat down on the floor but he thought it over, "Of course i cook it. Im a shapeshifter, not a savage animal." He explained kindly but thought it over, "How about we head back upstairs and have something to drink and ill explain my story?" He asked as he held his hand out to her to help her to her feet.

Emily tried to give him a smile but she couldn't must one. She looked at his outstretched hand, she was hesitant about accepting it. Should she really trust him? Her mind says no, her body says no, but her heart.......Her heart is saying to trust him. Damn her stupid heart was right. She reached up to him, accepting the help up, but all of her fear was gone, "O-Okay..."

Cody looked at her when she reached up and accepted his help, but he began to lead her upstairs. He unlocked the basement access door and walked up with her. When she was out of the basement, he locked the door behind them as a habit he made. He then walked with her to the kitchen which was open and warm. He looked at her, "So what kind of drink would you like? And you can ask any questions that you want." he offered kindly figuring that she had several to ask him.

Emily was sort of out of it as she was led upstairs and into the kitchen. Sitting down, she looked around, "I'll take some tea, if you don't mind." she was nervous alright, but what kind of questions should she ask him? Lets start with the basic ones "Were you born like this or were you cursed?"

Cody looked at her when she sat down, he nodded and made her a cup of tea and set a small set of sugar and a spoon by her to sweeten it to how she wanted. Thinking about what was asked, he gently sighed, "I believe I was born to it... my mother found me when I was young and as a cub. I was alone in the forest so she brought this tiny tiger cub home only she found that it changed into a human baby boy. She raised me like her son and to this day I haven't really found out what I am other then that I am a shapeshifter." he said thinking it over.

Emily put in two spoonful's of sugar into her tea, stirred it until it dissolved before she drank some, "That must have been quite a discovery. I'm sure you had trouble controlling the power at first." she was very nervous, not sure of her words at all. And she avoided eye contact with him too, "I assume you know the area well then, huh?" that was a stupid question, of course he knew! Now she was starting to panic a little but sipping the tea really helped

Cody looked at her when she spoke, he listened to what was said, "Yeah, but I learned how to control my abilities. I grew up learning about the forest and helping my mother keep it safe since she helped get a document that protects the forest and the animals inside." He could smell the scent of panic from her, "Any reason why you smell like your scared?" he asked curiously to her.

"I-I'm sorry. But this is all hitting me at once." Emily looked up at him and into his eyes, "I'm not afraid of you, I just don't know what to say." she got sad, "But I will keep your secret, that is certain." she smiled and sipped some more tea, then she remembered, "Oh, I completely forgot." she rummaged in her bag again, pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to him, "That assignment that I was talking about, the reason why I went into those woods for a reason, well, here is the grade I got for it. I couldn't have done it without you." A+

Cody looked at her as she sipped her tea which as she spoke, he nodded thankful when she said she would keep his secret. When she got out her paper and showed it to him he nodded, "No problem but all I did was save your butt from becoming wolf chow." He said teasingly taking a sip from his own drink.
