 "Helloooooo," sang Lily. "You've missed me, right?" She didn't wait for an answer. These fish were kind of cute - and she liked proving her skill. She stuck her head in close - wait, ah. Was...was the water dirtier than it'd been? There had been a lot of kin passing through, huh. Well, it didn't matter. She'd take all the tokens she could get. Her teeth caught on a fat fish and she pulled it out with pride. Apparently it was a bluegill? She didn't know much about fish, just winning. And she'd just won. Again. Hell yes.

Stump was beginning to think that the critters in this pond were conspiring against him to make him look a fool. That was the only reason why the catfish would band together to put a frog -- A FROG -- in his mouth. As it hopped off to its new destination, Stump slogged out of the booth, tongue lolling out dramatically. "'ow oo I geh uh huh-liiiime aw?"

Looking to the pond again, Blue Blood didn't hesitate, going forward in attempt to make a catch. Thinking he's caught something huge he eagerly came up- only to spit it out in disgust. "A frog?" He barked at it. "AUGH, I'll be tasting that for days."

Wild Green Stones charged in, aiming for the pond. "I'll do it; I'll get a - "
He dunked his head in and gargled water for a bit, before coming out with a fish.
"Ha! Told you," he said, with a leer and a wink. He dumped the goby back in before wandering away.

With a big smile - and a small bass within, Distant Thunder straightened up and let the bass fall from his mouth as he trotted over to get a token. Not a bad start to the market trip!

Having just arrived at the Winter Market, Splash had arrived at the fishing pool not because she wanted to do some fishing but because she wanted to do some, well... splashing. She ended up kicking up a pretty rock in the process and decided to keep it.

"Oh! You mean - " began Hunter and Hound, a startled look on her face. "I can put them back?" That sounded delightful, really. Well, she'd give it a try.
Unfortunately when she leaned in and swirled her snout in the water to see what'd bite, she really got bitten - she hadn't realized fish could be so aggressive!

He walked a few steps back, and looked into the pond again. “Hiding my face would make fish appear right?” He kept walking forward then backward. Time seemed to have passed by as he kept on doing what he was doing.
Finally, after like twenty times of going back and forth, he leaned over and stared at the pond water. Down below, past his reflection, he thought he saw a fin. Leaning over some more, he wanted to take a better look, and lost his balance, tipping himself into the pond.
“Oh dear,” he sputtered as he floated about, and saw allllll the fish swim away from him as fast as they could. “There they are,” he said while swimming back to dry land. "Oh please let me try again tomorrow."

Dogrot plunged its head into the pool because everyone else was doing it, and managed to pull a massive catfish out by its tail. Somehow it seemed to leave behind an oily film and a lot of squirming maggots when it stood up again, though. And it took a good deal of convincing to get it to put the catfish back in the pond.

"Fish liberation!" screamed First to Strike. "Move it - " he said to the nearest kin. "Outta my way." His little bear companion was only stumbling to keep up.
He plunged almost facefirst into the pool, but he definitely came out with a fish - a cute little goby. Unfortunately for Fair Hunter, he also proceeded to run three laps around the booth before dropping it back into the pool. "I couldn't find another pool this size," he said sheepishly. But at least he was getting a token for this, right?

((5. You nose around the bottom of the pond, but you don’t manage to find anything. Fair Hunter shakes her head and lets back in the pond to clean your muddy snout. No token for you, though- she doesn’t have that much pity.))  Tiger Beetle gives the doe a cheeky grin, "Hey there cutie." he says, before dunking his head into the water.
Despite keeping his head under until his lungs are burning, Tiger Beetle catches nothing. Rising with a huge gasp, he gives the doe a nod before plodding off. Maybe tomorrow he'll have better luck.

But first thing's first. The game! A fishing game! Dog could do this, he was a great fisher... Ok not really. But he gave it everything he had every time! The fish were just too fast in the water usually. He stepped up to the hole and looked down into the pond. With a deep breath, he shoved his face into the kind of gunky surface and snapped around for a fish. He was not expecting the fish to bite back! Dog yelped and stumbled backwards into someone, gasping in shock and sputtering as water dripped down his snout. "WHAT WAS THAT?!"

Light in the Ocean did not give up and ignored what the kin told him yesterday. He came in all smiley and was determined to fish out a fish today no matter what it took.
Looking at the murky water, he took in a deep breath and plunged his entire face into it. Deeper and deeper he went, almost falling into the pond again, all the while letting out air bubbles escaping through his nostrils, he leaned into the water until his chin hit the bottom floor.
Quickly opening his eyes, he scanned the place before it began to sting. There was a fat fish sleeping! and he did not care if it made it angry or not by waking it up. He flashed a set of teeth and bit onto its fin. With all his might he started to drag it out of the water before he ran out of air.
His legs spazzed along with his entire body as the fish seemed to weigh like a solid boulder! The old acha did not give up and heaved once more with his neck, practically throwing the pike out of the waters and onto the grass.
"Whew~! That's a big one," he was completely out of breath and had no energy to drag the fish back into the water. "Please put it back in for me? I am beat."
