"Kanda, Kanda. Darling I know you can hear me," Vüsala called to her, finally resorting to bumping her with his tail, gently, to get her attention. "What did you want to do first?" The question itself was simple, but it would help to start them going through the festival. As it was, the giant plush was going to be a hassle to carry around the entire time. Hopefully she didn't decide that she wanted all of them. That would get them far too many trips back and forth between here and the hotel they were staying at overnight.
The abrupt thwap of her fathers blunt tail against her belly startled her and she whirled around to face him. There was no sound to accompany it, but her look said unmistakably there would have been a growl. Releasing his fingers, she signed back at him. "I was thinking; you didn't have to hit me." Pausing a moment, she looked around until she caught sight of a balloon popping game. Her attention riveted to it, she simply pointed before grabbing his hand and pulling him in the direction she wanted to go.
Rather than resist, Vüsala let the small grimm tug him through the crowd. He got the both of them some darts and stood back to let her go first. Unfortunately, it looked like there had been quite a few people there already, and most of the balloons had been popped. Though she made a good effort to try and hit one, none of her darts so much as scratched a balloon.
To make up for her not winning anything, Vüsala made sure to hit at least two balloons. It was easier thanks to his bigger size. Instead of claiming one of the bigger prizes, he asked to get a couple of the littler ones. A pair of clip-on, gold earrings and Kanda had completely forgiven him for bumping her. She had immediately clipped them on and was jangling them by flicking her ears back and forth. The game master held out a pair of antlers, telling him it was that or the earrings. With a put-upon sigh, Vüsala accepted the headband and put it on. Much to his dismay, Kanda lit up at the sight.

Chatting with the imp for a while, Isabelle eventually split from him to see more of the games and people around. None of the daydreams had come in while she had chatted with him, but maybe she would have more luck further in. Bidding him goodbye, she started making her way around the area.
It didn't take her long before she found a cute booth filled with books. She shifted through them at the insistence of the demon behind the table. A mystery novel caught her eye and she gratefully accepted that. It fit perfectly into the purple stocking she'd nabbed earlier. This festival was going well so far. Maybe she should play one of the games next?
Game booths were set up at regular intervals and Elliah decided to try her hand at those. It was better than standing still in the cold and would hopefully warm her up a bit. Fighting back a shiver, she took her place in line at a dart game. There weren’t too many people ahead of her, thankfully, so she didn’t have to wait long.
Darts were not her best game, but she managed to score well enough to earn a small prize. Spying a basket full of bracelets, she gestured for the game attendant to give her a cute light blue one. Within moments it was hanging from her wrist. Pleased with herself, and having forgotten about the cold for a bit, Elliah thanked the demon before heading over to another game.

Cyril hesitated at the gate of the festivities, staring inside. The announcement that the Daymares from Above were going to start attending the Academy was a big thing. A major part of history. The news alone had been enough to draw the young geist from his room and bring him all the way to the brink of the party. Now that he was here however, he wasn't entirely certain he wanted to be a part of history. Honestly, it would probably have been a better thing for him to have just read about the event sometime after the initial contact had been made.
While he was dithering on whether or not to go in, a kind soul tugged him towards the front booth and started handing him things. Bewildered, he accepted the stocking and then a giant vespercat plush that had a bracelet wrapped around its' paw. His surprised expression drew a laugh from the older demon and she gently nudged him out into the festival to partake in some of the rest of the festivities. Cyril, with a lost expression, moved about ten feet in, clutching the plush and his new stocking to his chest, and then stopped and stared about, unsure what exactly to do now.
Perhaps some of the other Academy graduates would consider her strange, but Miah hardly cared. In that moment, all she cared about was the countless decorations, the toys, the animals, and the numerous people filling the hall.
"This is fantastic," the Imp breathed, a slight grin breaking over her lips as her tail flicked happily behind her. That was when she first noticed them: The various Daydreams walking around, mingling with the rest of the Nightmares--though perhaps mingling was not the best of words. A sharp gasp escaped from the imp as she spun around on her heel, looking towards the young Bamphomet behind her. "Alis! Look! There's Daydreams here!" she exclaimed with a grin. Before the other could respond however, Miah quickly found her attention drawn off by something else; A booth, stocked to the brim with toys, trinkets, and the like, all demanding her attention.

The overly energetic imp had Alis sighing softly, giving a shake of their head as they slowly brought up the trail behind the girl. Though they did have to admit, it was quite peculiar seeing Daydreams back in Below, it wasn't nearly as spectacular as the small girl made it out to be.
Still, Alis could hardly blame the girl for her enthusiasm. In fact, before long they found themselves trailing after the Imp, their gaze darting over the various booths before finding one of particular interest. Without a word to the gushing Imp, they padded over slowly, pondering the game and its prizes wordlessly.
If anything, they could certainly go for some chocolate, at the moment.

"Oh this is amazing!" the demoness exclaimed, a grin breaking across her lips as she trailed in behind the two younger Grendel students, holding her jacket over her shoulder. Chatter filled the area, making Aaminah's ears twitch slightly as she tried to pick out any familiar voices, though sadly there were none to be found. The downsides to only keeping friends outside of the Academy and Universities, it seemed.
As the two younger graduates went off in one direction, Aaminah followed another, being quick to grab herself a rather lovely, particularly soft stocking, which was far too empty by her opinion. Her first stop was a small booth, overflowing with rather precious little trinkets. The first to catch her eye was the absolute sweetest little bracelet, which brought a slight grin to her lips upon seeing.
"Oh, I need it...." she breathed, glancing up at the woman behind the booth. "What do I gotta do for one of these cute little things?"
A few easy ring tosses later, and Aaminah found herself giggling at the sparkling beads hanging from around her wrist.
Well, this particular event was especially festive in the chimera's opinion. It all felt unnecessarily so, however, especially when she learned that daydreams were being enrolled in the academy. The chimera had not taken to the news very well, but the other students didn't seem too upset or bothered by it.
Which just goes to show you how the standards have fallen and that she really should graduate as soon as possible so she could be away from what will eventually become polluted air. For the time being, she'll enjoy as much as she could and took a stocking. She accepted the book without hesitation, probably because the title suggested a chimera was the protagonist.

This was killer! And in the good way! Verve was giddy with excitement, but then again she always was a bundle of energy just waiting to be unleashed whenever there was so much as a hint of a party going on. And what better way to get into the spirit of things than by grabbing a stocking and donning the raddest-looking outfit?
The chimera draped the tinsel boa around her, striking a flamboyant pose made even more flamboyant thanks to her new accessory before going off to mingle.
Hopefully she wouldn't run into any daydreams. She'd heard... things.

The freshling clung to his caretaker's leg for several reasons. First being it was so cold and body heat was a glorious thing to share. Second, everything was so bright and sparkly it was practically an overload for the fallen. Third, because he was experiencing paralysis, the kind you get when you are offered so much and can't even begin to decide what to do first.
It was only when the fallen was handed a predominantly pink stocking then nudged towards the trinkets that he finally let go. Charmstar was quick to pick candy (of course) and when he learned he was allowed a plushie, well, he got the biggest one he could carry.
"I can't get over how amazing all this stuff is! Alis, can you?" The imp spoke with a wide grin as she clutched both of her books in hand, waving after the rather amusing librarian who seemed rather relieved to find the young imp, who was more than happy to take a couple books off her hands.
The imp was positively ecstatic. The atmosphere was everything she loved, and she found it surprisingly easy to get out of her shell--at least for the time being. Of course, the small plushie that she had managed to win from one of the booths certainly helped lift the imp's spirits even further.

Even Alis seemed to brighten up somewhat. After much coaxing from the imp, they found themselves at one of the many booths. Alis had never been one to collect stuffed animals or anything of the sort, but the small vespercat plushie was just too much for them to deny.
"Well... I guess it's cute," they muttered softly, head canting to the side as they gently played with the split tail of their new plush, the slightest of smiles making its way across their lips--a sight which certainly didn't go unnoticed by the imp, who giggled softly in response.

While the two younger students were off gushing over the stuffed animals in their grasp, Aaminah found herself positively squealing over the actual creature in hers.
"Oh gosh, you are so adorable!" the demon squealed, lifting up the crimson furred fennekit, who seemed to be rather content mewling away to the Solstice songs that filled the area. The creature didn't seem to fully succeed, but Aaminah hardly seemed to care. She was far too enamored by her new companion to mind.
Between her bracelet, her new furry friend, and the (somewhat tacky) silver boa around her neck, Aaminah seemed to be getting into the festivities surprisingly well.
Mytrax decided that she could use a snack while she read the book. The festivities still looked promising but she wasn't certain if she could manage to interact with the others. Most of them seemed happy about the fact that daydreams now walked among them in Below.
Trying not to frown, the chimera instead began to thumb through the pages when she saw a familiar figure holding the same book. Deciding to brave the cultural divide, Mytrax strode to Batholith and asked, "Is it any good?"

Verve decided she was not done accessorizing and went about getting herself a pair. Of earrings. They tinkled with her movement, and it promised to be obnoxious if she moved fast enough. Verve was, obviously, loving it. She was so wrapped up in her goal of dressing up as festively as possible that she almost tripped over a freshling running around.
"Oop!" she squeaked, managing to regain her balance thanks to her tail. "Careful there, cuteling, wouldn't wanna squash ya~" she grinned, adjusting her tinsel boa before her eyes bugged out. "That is a huge plushie! How'd you win it?"

Charmstar had just taken a bag of brittle when another nightmare caught his eye. He felt his heart skip a beat and his wings fluttered in delight. He rubbed at his purple eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things and that the nightmare was real.
Shoving his trinkets and huge plushie into his caretaker's arms, the golden-winged fallen freshling strode off to greet his fellow pink fallen and the other freshling with them. "Hi~" he greeted them both before turning to the fallen and declaring with what Charmstar considered his dazzling smile, "You'w weal pwetty~" And to the other freshling, he stared into their silvery gaze, "You have shiny eyes~ kinda spawkly!"

Frey wasn’t entirely sure why he had wondered out into the festival. He didn’t have many friends and the astrology club was quiet ever since their leader had left for university. Still it might be nice to work on his plushie collection after all and maybe, just perhaps he could make a couple of friends. Frey did have to admit that lately it had been a bit lonely. He was one of those juniors that had somehow gotten a room to themselves, although Frey figured it was only a matter of time until an exchange student came and he was sharing a room.
Right now however Frey was going to steal one of these books. After all it never hurt to add to your collection and he thought he could recall reading it as a child at the orphanage. Picking up the book he gently wiped off the cover of any dust and added it to his bag.
Hermes let out a sigh and looked around. He was supposed to have gone to the festival with Melody and tayce but none of his roommates where anywhere to be seen. This of course led him to sitting on a bench that was slightly taller than he probably should be sitting in, and his legs where swinging back and forth as he sat down looking at random people passing by. He was trying to see if he spotted any one that he knew like Baum or something but…
Luckily one of the seniors had taken pity at him though so he was now currently the proud owner of a plushie. Well would it be considered proud? Phrases some times where really weird, at least the plushie was really soft though. Ugh had he mentioned he lost his people? Samhain looked around at the festival. It sure was a lot of people, then again when he had left his room he wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. This was his first winter festival. Everyone seemed to be having a good time though and Samhain was glad. He was just a bit worried now that Haunted Hollow’s was pretty much over. Samhain was a bit weird as he often wore a mask and it was quite obvious that the hybrid was mutated. His tails swished behind him. Ah well it wasn’t as if he wasn’t used to weird looks by now and he had come out to have fun.
Sure enough his luck seemed to be there at least as he got second place in the ball toss game he was trying out. Anything to keep Salem asleep, although lately Salem hadn’t made an appearance. Samhain wasn’t sure on whether he should be worried by that. Suddenly he was drawn out of his muses as he was handed a plushie for a prize, well he knew a certain nezubat that would love softer plushie things in his room.
Alrai wasn’t sure why he had come back to the academy. It could have been a surprise visit to Alioth considering he hadn’t really seen his younger half sibling since he had graduated a few months ago. However when he had called Alioth obviously hadn’t answered so now he was kind of wandering around the festival aimlessly for the most part. He didn’t see any familiar faces but it didn’t surprise the geist hybrid all that much. Alrai had been a bit absorbed into his studies at the time.
Considering all he had was time on his hands he figured trying out a game wouldn’t hurt. Of course three tosses later when he was handed a plushie he did wonder how he was going to get it home to his dorm room. Ah well he would figure something out. After all he was just thinking that his room was looking a bit bare the other day, and that he should spend some more time personalizing it.
Ziron made their way to one of the food booths that they could tell had peppermint hot chocolate, waiting in line for them to be able to get their own of this special drink. In line however, Ziron found themselves being given a pair of antlers, them putting it on before it became their turn to order their drink. When Ziron received their drink, they also received a really nice holiday plushie as well!

Bringing Phyre to a stand to get some food, Candy and Phyre were handed some gifts as they waited in line. Candy was actually quite happy with her gift, putting on her boa right away with glee. She sure liked how shiny it looked for sure!

While waiting in line with her mother for some food, Phyre noticed the librarian heading through and giving out books. When they came over to her, she was given a book that she thought looked really cool, Malice in Wonderland. Maybe Candy could read it to her when it came to bedtime?

Making his way to a booth to try out a game, Lazarus once again found himself being given yet another item. This time it was a bundle of candy canes, which finally brought a smile to his face. Someone had seen him and thought of him when they handed him this gift. It was actually kind of nice.

The librarian once again handed Yihad another book, the Halfling. Another book Yihad quite enjoyed. However, Yihad noticed something near hum after hu put the book away, an adorable Fennekit dancing to the music. When it saw Yihad though, it ran up to hum and bounced around a bit, spinning in a circle before sitting in from of Yihad. Did it want to come home with hum? Hu allowed for it to follow, smiling down at the fennekit and motioning for it to come with hum if it wanted.

After getting the bucket of cotton, Vivek was then gifted a pair of antlers by a nightmare passing by, giggling to himself and making sure it was on properly. He was sure he looked silly, but there were other frshlings wearing it so it must be something he should wear. He then went up to another booth that had a small game where you threw a ball at a tower of bottles. Since he was the only one there he got to try at it right away, hitting the tower and knocking them all over. In return for his amazing throw, the booth owner handed Vivek another plushie. Today was going great!

Coming to another game booth, Somansh decided to try for another plant. She wanted to get as many as she could so she could bring them back to her dorm to continue to nurture. After managing to get her prize, she then looked down to see a kidden eyes her plant. She wasn't about to let it eat her plants, but she couldn't let it just stay here either ", Are you going to come with me or not? I can get you more food at my place than you can here." Sure thing, the kidden followed, but maybe just because she had offered the familiar food.

Jacintha made her way to a game booth, waiting in line and still in a bouncy mood. Was she waited for her turn to play, she found herself getting a really cool bracelet. Cool cool! This really was a good day. Not only that, but she ended up winning another plushie.
Rowan was actually really excited about the festival. They'd heard stories about Above and its races, and they would actually be able to get to see some of them! Already! Plus the Solstice meant all kinds of tasty treats as well as so much gift giving.. They were already trying to think of what to give Ella, or their parents.. maybe they could ask Ella to help with their mom and zaza's present.. There was a freebie booth that handed out pretty glowing pendants, and of course Rowan had to get one too. Walking around with it around their neck, next the child spotted a game booth with pretty cockatriels as prizes. It took them a few tries, but finally Rowan was able to walk away with a pretty purple bird. Holding the cage gingerly, the hybrid continued to wander the Academy grounds to see what else there was.
Eriu had been pacing in her dorm room all morning before the festivities picked up, so eager to see all the activities around the school grounds. Maybe she'd get to see her mom, too, since she'd heard the universities would get to attend the festival as well. As she entered the courtyard, someone immediately handed her a bunch of candy canes, and the girl happily began to nom on one of them. A stall close by was handing out free plushies - apparently the headmistress had ordered way too many of them and they just needed to somehow get rid of them.. Eriu picked a giant Vespercat plush that was almost as big as her. Lugging her huge cuddly friend, she continued to inspect the other activities.
Winter Solstice was a little nicer than Hallowed Haunt, in Mana's opinion. They really enjoyed the joyous atmosphere and all the gifts and goodies this time of the year involved. The little geist had received a pretty glowing necklace earlier, and was just idly wandering around the Academy grounds currently. Suddenly feeling something move in their hair, they reached up to discover a bright red wisp tangled in there. Showing no signs of wanting to go elsewhere, Mana was more than happy to let the little glowing sphere follow them around.
Sindri couldn't wait to show his dad the giant Kidden plush doll he'd got, but it was going to be hard to save some of the peppermint bark for Muere.. he'd try, of course, but unless someone was nice enough to give him more, there was a good chance it'd all be gone before he saw his father later. It was just that great, in his opinion.
This time of the year was really fun for Ash, and likely for her sister too. The two of them were avid gift-givers all year round, but at least around the Solstice people didn't give them such weird looks for handing out gifts to random students. Of course, the albino didn't really mind receiving things, either.. and because she simply couldn't resist glowing things, of course she'd snatched up one of the enchanted glitter necklaces that were being handed out. She'd also ended up taking along a cute little plush Seapup doll. All of the plushies handed out were of very nice quality, and she wondered what Chi thought of them.
Simply because she couldn't really think of anything else to do, Rusalka was also checking out the festival stalls on the grounds. She wasn't really that big on sweets, and most of the trinkets were too shiny for her tastes. But the librarian handing out books, well, that was something she could roll with. Her shelf had been looking pretty empty as of late. Now, to just make sure nobody saw her walking around with a cheesy romance novel..
Virus was taking it easy, enjoying the time off classes for a change. Every now and then she'd take a few dance steps, the music all around the place making her feet seemingly move on their own. She caught some weird looks from fellow students here and there, but didn't really mind. They were probably just jealous of her festive spirit. She'd even received a perfect shining boa to go with her outfit, and felt super fancy with it. And she hadn't been able to resist the cute button eyes of a gigantic Fennekit plush that was handed out, and she was planning to give it a special spot on her bed.
Tayce toddled back to her dorm as quick as her little legs could carry her, tail swaying happily as she held her new potted plant in both clawed hands. She had painted the pot herself, which was no small feat for her, which means she was very late indeed in leaving for other parts of the festival with her roommates. She entered her dorm and held aloft the barely sprouted... whatever it was, only to slowly sag with the realization that no one was here to see her new plant.
Blinking, she stood on tip toes to nudge it onto the windowsill and got a better look around. Oh no, they left without her?! Sad now, she shuffled out of the dorm and decided to try and find them, dejected that they'd just take off and didn't wait. Did she really take that long? After a time, she finally manged to find Hermes sitting on a bench. Swimming through the throng of people she made her way over to him, waving frantically.

Aaaaaaah he loved the smell! Peppermint bark was just so simple to make, and smelled so good. The hardest part was honestly cutting the bark into neat strips, but a hot knife often did the trick. Worst case, he'd end up shattering some of the bark and it didn't look presentable enough to gift. That just meant scrap-bark for him to eat though, which he did with relish.
This double batch of chocolate and white chocolate had turned out pretty thick though, and didn't shatter nearly as much. More's the pity. Maybe next time a he'd try to make some with a bunch of mini marshmallows scattered across the top. Yea, that sounded good. It would have to wait until after class though. Sighing, he started to clean up, popping one of the shards from an earlier batch into his mouth and letting it dissolve slowly.
He was nursing one helluva hang over when he finally shuffled out of his apartment, not even bothering to get fully dressed to grab the mail. Something on his door downright jingled though as it swung open. "The hell...?" Squinting, the lights in the hallway were much brighter than they had any right to be, he focused on the ... thing, hung to his doorknob. One of those Solstice stockings, it looked like. Grunting, he unhooked the thing and prodded at it. Yep, jingling. He had half a mind to put it back on the knob and walk away, leave it for later (and less hung over) version of himself to deal with. There was a weight to it though that made his ears swivel. Turning the thing upside down, he could feel something shift and start to slide out, catching it deftly. The cellophane charged to the fur of his arm and hand instantly, earning a grunt of disapproval. However, it was wrapped around something much more promising. Examining it, Kaz realized it was peanut brittle. Ah, there was a little white square of paper attached. The handwriting was janky as hell, but he figured old age would do that to a person. Heh, if was from the old lady on the first floor that was always nagging at him to put on a shirt or meet her granddaughter.
Scuttling back into his apartment, he closed the door and sat down with the brick of ... well, not really candy, he didn't think. Definitely an old-person thing, like those nasty butterscotch candies. Still, he should probably return the favor somehow. Maybe he'd get her a new pair of slippers or something, since hers looked pretty ratty whenever he saw her shuffling about.

Elle held up the chintzy bracelet, turning it this way and that. Well, the colors were cute at least. She could tell it was little more than costume jewelry, but there was no reason to expect something besides from the freebies given in everyone's stockings. It would do the Solstice celebrations at any rate, to be sure. She slipped it on and shook her wrist back and forth and sighed. Well, the season had just started, maybe she'd get something fancier yet.

Cirro blinked slowly at the plush that was being offered to him. The thing was as big as he was, and he'd been preoccupied with the bundle of candy canes to even notice what the care givers were going back out in the hallway for. The ribbon holding the canes together lay still half undone as he stared at the plush in shock. This was real? The candy slipped from his grasp, forgotten, as he ran forward to tackle the giant fennekit, the plush coming loose from the demoness's grasp as he landed softly on the floor with it. "Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" He loved its grumpy face and its puffy belly and look how huuuuge it was! best Solstice ever!

Ix leaned back in her window seat, looking outside for a moment as the people across the way decorated a storefront for the holidays. She was enjoying Solstice herself, taking a much deserved break with a cup of hot cocoa and a book. It was a bit racy, but it wasn't like she was on campus and people could see and judge. Though, seeing as how this was one of the 'Staff Picks for the Season!' at the university bookstore, sooooo.
Snuggling further into her throw blanket, she took another sip before turning the page, feeling herself grin as this particular part started to get good. Her classwork could wait until the end of the chapter at the very least, though with how her day was going she'd probably get too absorbed and finish the book before realizing it. Especially with how well they were describing... well... Ix smirked to herself and hid her grin in the mug again, holding the page open with one hand.

However when he had called Alioth obviously hadn’t answered so now he was kind of wandering around the festival aimlessly for the most part. He didn’t see any familiar faces but it didn’t surprise the geist hybrid all that much. Alrai had been a bit absorbed into his studies at the time. 
Ziron made their way to one of the food booths that they could tell had peppermint hot chocolate, waiting in line for them to be able to get their own of this special drink. In line however, Ziron found themselves being given a pair of antlers, them putting it on before it became their turn to order their drink. When Ziron received their drink, they also received a really nice holiday plushie as well! 
Bringing Phyre to a stand to get some food, Candy and Phyre were handed some gifts as they waited in line. Candy was actually quite happy with her gift, putting on her boa right away with glee. She sure liked how shiny it looked for sure!
While waiting in line with her mother for some food, Phyre noticed the librarian heading through and giving out books. When they came over to her, she was given a book that she thought looked really cool, Malice in Wonderland. Maybe Candy could read it to her when it came to bedtime?
Making his way to a booth to try out a game, Lazarus once again found himself being given yet another item. This time it was a bundle of candy canes, which finally brought a smile to his face. Someone had seen him and thought of him when they handed him this gift. It was actually kind of nice.
The librarian once again handed Yihad another book, the Halfling. Another book Yihad quite enjoyed. However, Yihad noticed something near hum after hu put the book away, an adorable Fennekit dancing to the music. When it saw Yihad though, it ran up to hum and bounced around a bit, spinning in a circle before sitting in from of Yihad. Did it want to come home with hum? Hu allowed for it to follow, smiling down at the fennekit and motioning for it to come with hum if it wanted.
After getting the bucket of cotton, Vivek was then gifted a pair of antlers by a nightmare passing by, giggling to himself and making sure it was on properly. He was sure he looked silly, but there were other frshlings wearing it so it must be something he should wear. He then went up to another booth that had a small game where you threw a ball at a tower of bottles. Since he was the only one there he got to try at it right away, hitting the tower and knocking them all over. In return for his amazing throw, the booth owner handed Vivek another plushie. Today was going great!
Coming to another game booth, Somansh decided to try for another plant. She wanted to get as many as she could so she could bring them back to her dorm to continue to nurture. After managing to get her prize, she then looked down to see a kidden eyes her plant. She wasn't about to let it eat her plants, but she couldn't let it just stay here either 
Jacintha made her way to a game booth, waiting in line and still in a bouncy mood. Was she waited for her turn to play, she found herself getting a really cool bracelet. Cool cool! This really was a good day. Not only that, but she ended up winning another plushie.
Rowan was actually really excited about the festival. They'd heard stories about Above and its races, and they would actually be able to get to see some of them! Already! Plus the Solstice meant all kinds of tasty treats as well as so much gift giving.. They were already trying to think of what to give Ella, or their parents.. maybe they could ask Ella to help with their mom and zaza's present..
Eriu had been pacing in her dorm room all morning before the festivities picked up, so eager to see all the activities around the school grounds. Maybe she'd get to see her mom, too, since she'd heard the universities would get to attend the festival as well. As she entered the courtyard, someone immediately handed her a bunch of candy canes, and the girl happily began to nom on one of them. A stall close by was handing out free plushies - apparently the headmistress had ordered way too many of them and they just needed to somehow get rid of them.. Eriu picked a giant Vespercat plush that was almost as big as her. Lugging her huge cuddly friend, she continued to inspect the other activities.
Winter Solstice was a little nicer than Hallowed Haunt, in Mana's opinion. They really enjoyed the joyous atmosphere and all the gifts and goodies this time of the year involved. The little geist had received a pretty glowing necklace earlier, and was just idly wandering around the Academy grounds currently.
Sindri couldn't wait to show his dad the giant Kidden plush doll he'd got, but it was going to be hard to save some of the peppermint bark for Muere.. he'd try, of course, but unless someone was nice enough to give him more, there was a good chance it'd all be gone before he saw his father later. It was just that great, in his opinion.
This time of the year was really fun for Ash, and likely for her sister too. The two of them were avid gift-givers all year round, but at least around the Solstice people didn't give them such weird looks for handing out gifts to random students. Of course, the albino didn't really mind receiving things, either.. and because she simply couldn't resist glowing things, of course she'd snatched up one of the enchanted glitter necklaces that were being handed out. She'd also ended up taking along a cute little plush Seapup doll. All of the plushies handed out were of very nice quality, and she wondered what Chi thought of them.
Simply because she couldn't really think of anything else to do, Rusalka was also checking out the festival stalls on the grounds. She wasn't really that big on sweets, and most of the trinkets were too shiny for her tastes. But the librarian handing out books, well, that was something she could roll with. Her shelf had been looking pretty empty as of late.
Virus was taking it easy, enjoying the time off classes for a change. Every now and then she'd take a few dance steps, the music all around the place making her feet seemingly move on their own. She caught some weird looks from fellow students here and there, but didn't really mind. They were probably just jealous of her festive spirit. She'd even received a perfect shining boa to go with her outfit, and felt super fancy with it. And she hadn't been able to resist the cute button eyes of a gigantic Fennekit plush that was handed out, and she was planning to give it a special spot on her bed.
