OH MAN! FREE STUFF! This was the best event ever! She loved gifts and she loved keeping pretty things and growing her collection, must at the behest of her mini's. She did feel bad about not enough enough room but she couldn't help herself! Who could? Especially with the items being free. It was the season for giving and receiving! Aureole would just explain that she just 'couldn't say no.' Her wings were all a flutter as she grazed the gifts, looking from box to box, being rather picky with how the box looked cause it wasn't like she wasn't going to keep the container too. The Peryton found a medium-sized box, striped in red and white with a green bow. Her puffy doe-like tail twittered about as she untied the bow and she was instantly hit with a confused look. Inside the box was a rather large pouch that seemed to just perfectly fit in the box. Any bigger and it would have been needed to be put in a different one. "Hmmm..." Aureole set the box and lid onto a nearby surface to get a better look at the pouch. She grasped the bag on either side, lifted it up began unzipping the pouch. A thick wall of maple-scent hit her hard and she was suddenly very hungry. And it was no wonder! There was a lovely stack of pancakes in the bag! This was awesome! Some how the inside of the bag wasn't messed up or anything. Some sort of magic was keeping it safe as well as the cakes fresh! "Best. Gift. EVER!" Oh whee! Her repertoire of magical items keeps on growing. Thanks whoever called Christ for being born on this month...maybe. She wasn't really clear about the origins of this holiday called Christmas. Maybe she really need to hit the books again. But that is that and this is this, she made a gesture of moving a pile of something somewhere else on the table and approached the...exhausted-looking reaper. Oh my, making all of those enchanted items was sure to tire anyboil out, she didn't even consider that. What help can she give to the kind reaper? "Oh yes!" She took out the pancake pouch and pulled out a perfectly-browned pancakes---well it's technically a 'pancake' but it's closer to thick fried eggs mix; she did some experimenting to test the bag's ability to preserve anything else than pancakes, and finds that the effect of the bag are limited to pancakes and anything that counts as one- so technically, bacon strips with a very thin pancake batter on it counts as a pancake, a pancake with other kind of flour (bread) still counts as a pancake, and beaten egg with a tiny amount of pancake batter in it counts too! "Here, eat this and perk up!" Mahlan combined the almost-pancake items to create a simple egg sandwich, and placed it on a large leaf plate, grown and picked from the nearby tree. She also snatched one of the wrapped gift while waltzing out of the booth "Give and take! Merry Christmas! Thanks for yer hard work!" On her way to the next booth, the plant spirit unwrapped the small package and founds an uh...glass ornament? There's a parchment on the wrapping---'hang this on your glass, transforms any drink* into hot chocolate' *orange juice not included'-was written on it. SWEEEEEEEEEET. Ruth did not want to be seen, at least not by Brenley or by Piper. It had nothing to do with the reapers, really, it was all on the blonde ghoul. But that didn't mean she didn't want to at least pass by their booth. Even for just a second. After all, she didn't know when she'd be able to see anyone at school (or in Halloween town for that matter) again.
While Brenley was preoccupied with another student, the gray-clad reaper snuck a package while the boil wasn't looking. And inside was a light wand. Oh. Huh. A rather useful little trinket. It would look nice beside the lighter she got from Andrew. She may have stood there admiring the wand just long enough to be noticed, or to have blended into the background like usual.Smerdle presents! minisite username: randonimity

Sludge crept back to the booth with all the presents, his eyes staring intently at each of them. With patience he waited until the booth owner allowed him to take one, and once permission was given he grasped a box and tore the wrapping off like the others he had taken. This present he had opened held a small blue stone inside, and he picked up in his claws. It felt cold and smooth, and as he stared at it he felt something fall onto his head. The monster looked up and blinked, watching the small snowflakes fall from the small cloud that appeared over him. Well, this was certainly not what he expected. Curious, he stuck his tongue out to taste one of the snowflakes. It tasted like normal frozen water, but this time his tongue wasn't stuck to any pole. Said lovely assistant to the booth had been busy doing...well, mediocer-ly in the House Cup. Piper had been in and out enough that she had barely been able to help Brenley, thanks to both her wounded pride and her high-maintenance lifestyle. Somebody had to watch her good looks, alright? And this hair needed to be handled delicately, especially after that tumble down the snowy hills earlier. Stupid snowman.
"I'm back~" she cooed to her partner in crime, primping her lab assistant look one more time. (One could say showing off at this point.) "Glad nothing's blown up." Not that Brenley's things were unstable, but whatever: science was all about explosions, right? Things were a little slow, so she decided to try one of the presents out for herself.
Piper plucked one out at random and opened it to find one of his temporary tattoos. She smiled as she examined it before wiggling the thing at him. "This is cute~ Where should I put it?"

Shiki bounded up to the booth, his tail wagging as he looked at the pretty packages. He didn't even notice who was running it as he admired the wrapping. So nice. Finally pulling his eyes from the papers he looked around more carefully. He took the present that was gestured to, and opened it, gasping in pleasure as he ended up with a snow stone. Hmm, it's already the next day but the reaper's still looked kinda tired. Well then, she dropped a small ceramic mug filled with spiced hot chocolate (made from tap water using the converter she got yesterday), before taking the smallest wrapped present- "I'll pick the mug tomorrow! Thank ye!" On her way, Mahlan tore apart the wrapper and found a small temporary tattoo sticker. Hmm, should she use this for herself or to prank? mrgreen Smerdle presents!minisite username: Rathurue

 After taking a bit of a walk, Bren returned for more gift-giving/not-so-subtle-advertising. He was quite pleased by the reception the booth was receiving—things weren't too busy, but they were hardly stagnant either—and he tried to smile warmly (?) at most of the people who stopped by, succeeding at it well enough not to be questioned. So many new faces. A couple of old ones too, even a flash of blond hair he thought might have been Ruth's. The figure disappeared too quickly for him to be sure, and then Piper returned and stole his attention as she always did. Whether or not Ruth was there seemed less important all of a sudden, something he would only feel irritated about when this was all over.
"Somewhere... there's not already something else," he said, avoiding the words 'bare' or 'naked' or any of the other innocently suggestive things he came up with first. "It gets lost if there are other colors to compete with." He gestured at the inside of the wrist closest to him. "Here, maybe. Or on your forehead." It was the first place people usually tried to put the joke ones. Bren grinned.

again, please let me know if i missed something. i tend to grant these things at work or in starbucks, and both are places where i am very easily distracted and can miss things! of course, that doesn't help if i mistype a username and send something to the wrong person and can't get it back, but i hope i don't do that yaaaay ))

Shiki headed back to the booth, the stone from before still in his pocket making a cute little winter land around him. He peered at the gifts again, ears twitching as he gazed at the pretty wrappings. The kitsune's tails flicked and he picked up a box, holding it up to one of the twin fairy foxfires that were with him, letting them paw the wrappings off.. A string? The Kitsune boil dangled the string from his fingers a moment, watching as the foxfire sniffled it. He then wrapped it around his fingers, tying the end curiously. A figure heading toward a dark path.. slipping... falling.. a pit.. spikes... darkness.. pain.Shiki quivered in fear. "Am... I going to die in a spike pit?" He tried slapping at her hand, but it was long gone by the time he got there. "Hey," Brenley said halfheartedly, looking up at a tattoo he couldn't see. He sighed, his expression caught between exasperated and amused. "Does it look nice, at least?"

"Uuuu. The singing contest sucks." Mahlan, again with low spirits after being called tone-deaf by one of the judges trudging on the roads, a small very diluted dose of Uprooter in her hands. "Screw ya darned dreiddel! You can't even walk without being tossed around! *hic*" Her feet brought her to the present stall, where a small mug was placed on the desk, with a card stuck on it 'Mahlan'. The kind reaper is still involved in a conversation, so she just took a small present and her mug. At the edges of the forest, Mahlan sat down on the nearby bush, drinking her problems away. When she reached for the pancake bag, the wrapped present fell down. Ah, she forgotten to open this...tearing away the package made a small ring box appeared, in which a small, roughly-made metal ring rests. "A ring?" She put it on her finger just to test...eh, this doesn't match her. Better keep this ring away--- "Eh?" There's something near her feet-no, it's not piles of snow- "Vaisels?" She questioned the spectacle. There's at least twenty of them Holly Vaisels here-probably from the forest nearby. But why? Vaisels are cowardly by nature--- "Don't tell me it's this ring?" Said Mahlan, looking at her hand. The Vaisels looked intently at her, seemingly waiting for orders. "Well, since you guys' already here, why don't we eat together?" Mahlan opened her pancake bag and took out several stacks, put them on her tail-leaf and watched the vaisels eat; ahh, this is relaxing...thought the plant spirit as she gently caressed their fur. Within minutes, the stack of pancakes has been cleared, and the now-full vaisels are dispersing back to the forest. Aww. At least she can summon them anytime using this ring. "It suits you~" But since that was vague, Piper decided to be nice and pulled out her phone. Turning the camera on, she flipped it to selfie mode and let Brenley take a look for himself while she rummaged through the presents some more. Hmm...This one looked promising...
For a moment it looked like an innocuous shirt, which was mildly disappointing. She'd seen people walk off with wands and magic books...But when she touched the fabric, it immediately bloomed into a bright red, just like her heart pin, and words could be made out at the front.
"Shop at Cloverhorn's," Piper read out, noting that the shirt felt a little warmer to the touch now. It was even starting to smell of fresh spookies! Turning to Brenley again, she pressed it to her nose and inhaled. "S'that, like, a new place at the maul or something?"
