Shu's eyes widened at Tommy, startled at the sudden loud voice. She stared at Ana's hand that was an inch from his mouth and flipped back to her side realized something. How adorable she is, she couldn't help her mouth to form a "w". The petite Death observed the bunny mask girl was shy and not used to surround by crowd, her body language was self-protecting. She admitted that she hardly knew personal space and had to work on that. Or else, she might scare a potential friend away.
Curled up her legs, Shu chinhanded and inwardly sighed in admiration for the tiny chocolate bar that played an important role. Just a tiny sweet and she witnessed the happening of a date, even just a work out. She always believed in the magical power of sweets. Also, she wanted applaud for the subtle move of Tommy, so smart.
When the hunter returned Hattie with blowing kisses and heart gestures, she further confirmed that he was an adorable Mr.Charming and gave him approving nods unconsciously. "Ah, you guys get a room upper floor? That's lucky." When she moved in, the rooms on upper floors were full and the sassy playful tone of the guy suggested thing the exact opposite to what he said. She felt good emotions between the roommates only.
"How many people can sleep on a bed?" Shu asked, in an completely innocent manner. All she did was wondering seriously how many more plushies she could put on bed if her room was located on upper floor. Last time, when Robert jumped on her bed, he hit his head because the ceiling was too low for him.
Shu, though feeling warm seeing many shirtless bodies, wasn't uncomfortable. At least she saw people naked walking around the training fields as their island is so called sub-tropical area, it's warm throughout the year. Averted from the naked men, she spotted a hunter she knew. Sadly for the current situation, she didn't want to miss anything, so she sent her a message in replacement for a greeting.

It was pretty damn difficult for Tommy to restrain himself when it came to that hand in front of his face. With most other people, whether he knew them well or not, he would have either tried to n** at their fingers with his teeth and a grin or licked the palm of their hand, because he definitely thought that he, and these types of action, were hilarious. But, he did restrain himself, because Ana seemed almost cripplingly shy, and the mist trainee did not really wish to lose all of the ground that he had made in developing what he hoped to be a new friendship with a mysteriously masked woman.
With her acceptance of his terms for him eating the chocolate bar, which he now considered a major assistance to her on his part, he grinned again, lifted the chocolate bar, and took another disgusting bite, and then another to finish it off, before balling up the wrapper and throwing it towards Hattie's head, which was consequentially near Horace's head since she was sitting on his lap.
It unraveled in midair and didn't get anywhere near. Shame.
With Ana ducking into the blanket, Tommy could see past her and towards Shu much easier than he could before. "Ah, yes! I put in a request for one with the quartermaster right away. It was still almost a month in a basement room before one became available." He began to explain.
"And then when I got there, with my things, ready to move in, that harpy." He gestured towards Hattie again. "Insisted that it was her room, and not mine. We decided we could share." After they had fought it out a little, of course. "But I should have just dropped her through the open window."
At the second question, he shrugged. "Two, I suppose, but not comfortably. Three, if the people are small or determined to not get any sleep at all."
Ana peeked her head out to get a good look at the harpy. She made mental note of it, in case it came up later.
Do not room with harpies. Check.

Harpy? Her head turned to where he gestured. Shu only knew it was a kind of bird-like creature, she guessed maybe the sound of it was similar to Hattie's name that he said so. The amber eyes blinked a few times in confusion before she settled with her own explanation. "Oh they made an error, did you two have a fight?" She giggled at his joke, Hattie did look like the fun type of girl.
"I would have requested for a bigger room upper floor if not my friend and her boyfriend decided to stay, the basement isn't bad except the lighting and bathroom. The long corridor looks really spooky without lights!"
As for Tommy's reply, she paused for a second. "Why would three people packed themselves at one bed? One's too insecure......" Her thought trailed, thinking about how she cuddled with her sisters in the past. Like recollecting herself from memory, she gently patted Ana, "When are they gonna start the movie?" Sorry, that was like totally random to help herself to get out of her own thought.
Harley was about to ask about Micah's pajamas when Horace so helpfully interjected. Boxers, huh? She didn't say a word, she just stared at Horace for a minute or two, continuing to grin away like she were up to something. Which, usually, she was.
"It's not an imposition if I offered first!" Micah's refusal to accept her offer provided Horace some relief from her teasing, and her grin died down to a pleased little smile. "I really wouldn't mind the occasional visit. Sometimes it's nice to have someone who isn't Tommy nearby." She huffed, raising her voice to make her her room mate heard her.
"Aww. That's a cute story!" Yes, she thought that bugging people was cute. Especially if said people let it happen while grumbling all the way. Those people were adorable, and Micah was proving to be just as good. "It's probably for the best that I don't tell you how I met him." She whistled innocently, which was then promptly cut off as Horace snapped her bra strap. She yelped, and elbowed him hard in the ribs again, whining. "You're no fun!" Horace was pouted at quite a bit before Mercy came over, and then she had her attention, which briefly freed both boys.
"I'm Hattie! Well, Harley Kiddo, but Hattie. Nice to meet you!" She was about to hold her hand out to shake, but instead Mercy wandered off to yell at the group, which made a little more sense to her. Well, at least she tried the whole introduction thing! She heard her name, and she let out a gasp when she saw Shu.
"Shu! I didn't see you there! Hello cutie!" She waved to her tiny little friend, but since she seemed busy with Tommy and the Bunny Girl, Harley didn't try to wave her over. Instead, she looked back at Horace and Micah, looking between the two with bright blue eyes. "Man, parties are overwhelming, aren't they?" Though she looked far from overwhelmed; in fact, this was more or less her speed. "They're always so - WHAT?!" Her happy conversation ended abruptly with a surprisingly shrill cry, which didn't help her case should she ever claim to not be a harpy.
"Excuse you!" She pointed accusingly in Tommy's direction. "Now who is being rude? Geez. Have at least a little social decency, you dirty ol'vagabond!" There was a small pause, before she stuck her tongue out at him. "Besides, that room was mine, I'm only letting you stay with me." Another pause, before her grin turned wicked and she glanced down at Ana - or, as she knew her: the bundle of blankets that had glanced at her.
"The horror stories I could tell you about him~" She heaved a long-suffering sigh as she gestured to her unfortunate room mate. "But I won't, because we are in public, and I'm the bigger person here."

The harpy was screeching, and grinning at her, and Ana wanted to melt into the ground. She knew harpies could smell fear, though (or at least, she was sure she'd heard it somewhere) so she froze and stood very still, keeping her eyes focused on anything but Harley. Don't make eye contact, don't make eye contact..
"I have seen some of the upper floors. They look delightful. I'm thankful I don't need much, however. My basement room is enough for me." She spent very little time in it, unless she was sleeping - most of her time was spent training, sparring, working, or working out. If all else, she always found some quiet spot to sit under a tree and meditate.
She would need vast amounts of said meditation time, after this night was over.
She started at the pat on her back, but gave Shu a small smile. "Soon, I'm sure."
Oliver could not help but feel nervous as people arrived at the room. He rarely socialized much, even with his close friends, and such a large group of people was overwhelming to say the least. Not to mention many of them seemed to know him. There was less anonymity than he thought, no ability to keep to the background. He could only try his best.
"A-ah, you're Harper?" He asked when she addressed him. She was very recognizable from her twitter pic, and for that he was thankful. The freckled boy offered a shy smile to both Harper and the man who joined her. "I-it's no problem, I said I would..."
Tommy received a startled wave back, and Shu's comments were enough to make him blush. "Um, th-thank you... Help yourself!" He squeaked, blushing even harder as he was hugged. If she was that enthusiastic over Aero bars, he would have to pick up more next time he was on leave. Then Horace arrived, and he heard Hattie's voice chirping in response. At least for every couple strangers, there seemed to be a friend in attendance.
Oliver nearly jumped when Mercy startled next to him, even though he was the cause of it in the first place. "N-no i'it's okay! I... um... someone else can pick, I-I'm okay with that!" he stammered nervously. He didn't want to make the wrong choice and be responsible if people didn't enjoy it as much, his delicate heart couldn't take the social pressure.
Finally he shifted over to take solace from familiar faces, ending up standing in the most unfortunate place, right between Hattie and Tommy's good-natured bickering. For a minute it looked like they would be interrupted by his innocent arrival, but when Mercy suddenly shouted, he dropped to his butt so fast it was like someone had taken his legs off. Horace, whom he ended up sitting next to, was talking to another hunter Oliver had not seen around yet. He looked kinda grumpy... maybe they hadn't had time to get properly fitting clothes for dorm parties?

Micah blinked at the girl who'd called him mister She was tiny. A kid? How young did they recruit them here? "Hi," he said back, and gave her a warm smile, his grumbling temporarily sidetracked by cuteness.
Hattie and Tommy were insulting each other comfortably, and Micah figured that they actually got along pretty well. They didn't really seem like they were a couple, so they must be good enough friends to be sharing a room long-term. "Sleeping in garbage sounds nasty," he said. "Wouldn't do that myself." Horace's comment about his sleeping attire was pointedly ignored.
"My room's all right," he demurred. "I got it pretty clean, and I got a lamp from the secondhand stuff. Don't need that much."
Tommy let out a long, suffering sigh when Hattie turned on him, but was amused, and fairly surprised, when Ana didn't respond, save to talk about the upper trainee rooms.
"Hattie, please, your screeching will deafen us all. Mi sono affezionato. Sei tutto per me.*"
He said it with as serious an expression on his face as he could muster, and then leaned towards Ana, "I have just explained to her how awful she is and how her contribution to the conversation is no longer welcome."
And then towards Shu, with a smile, "Soon, I hope."

Poor Tommy, living with someone he disliked that much. She would hug him, but then she would die. So instead, she gave him a comforting pat on the back, which nobody saw because it was under the blankets so it was okay.
"If you ever need some time away, I will be happy to accomodate you." Not that anyone wanted to hang out in basement rooms, but the offer was still important.
"'Lo, Shu. Didn't see you there. That's Micah." He jerked his thumb at the other man. "Your blanket friend okay?" Said person in the blanket had not spoken, but, honestly, a blanket burrito probably would have been nice. He listened to Hattie and Tommy bicker with a near-glazed look on his face. While he enjoyed being social, sometimes he needed small breaks of tuning stuff out (even though he just arrived!).
He chewed on his lip. "If you'd dropped her through the window, she mighta bounced, Tommy. And the bigger person - Hattie I can definitely feel that." He twisted, trying to avoid yet another elbow to the ribs. Oliver sat down and Horace smiled. He was glad Oliver was coming out and being social and not spending forever in the labs. "Psst, Oliver, do you still have Halloween candy?"
"Oh, Micah, I dunno if you need it, but I've got an extra bookcase in my room I ain't using." He looked up at Micah and frowned slightly before patting the sliver of space left next to him. "You gonna stand forever?"

So it seems like the only person that listened to her was Oliver, which really began to annoy her after awhile. So instead of yelling like a banshie, mercy got off of her bed, plugged in the A/V projector, and made sure the volume would be up pretty loud just incase some one STILL didn't get it. Since Oliver didn't want to pick a movie, mercy went though the selections on the thumb drive, settling for Guardians of the Galaxy. She walked up to October, poking him carefully.
"Did you wanna sleep up there? I have room for one more person" she pointed to her bed and walked away, climbing back on her bed and cuddling into the spot by Momo. She would have to deal since it was her bed and all. With that, she grinned and presses play on the remote, hoping the loud noise will cause everyone to settle down.
It got real busy, real fast, and before Rhys knew it the room was raining DVDs and person. Which was odd but it didn't seem like "odd" was out of the ordinary for hunters so he scooted to a corner of the room, huddled underneath his own blanket and waited for the movie to start despite all the shenanigans going on. All the faces were a blur and honestly he wasn't sure Mercy had a great handle on things, but this was her idea so as far as he was concerned it was her problem.
When Guardians of the Galaxy started playing his eyes landed toward the wall the projector was pointed at, where all the moving pictures were happening, and cleared his throat, trying to get comfy. It was hard, literally, because of the cement floor and the cement walls, never mind cold. His blanket didn't help some but it was barely past the opening credits and he was already drifting off to sleep. In an attempt to wake himself up he flicked a piece of popcorn over at Mercy, up on her bed and probably more comfortable than he was right then. Another piece got tossed toward Shu, and then a few other people he only knew by face, each wasted piece accompanied by a smirk before he popped one in his mouth and tried to pay attention to the movie again.

Tommy had no idea that Ana wasn't aware that he was only joking around with Hattie, though if he had been, he would have likely stopped immediately to attempt to explain things. However, when she offered for him to stay in her room, he got the wrong impression, first and foremost wondering if she might be (gasp!) hitting on him.
And then he decided that was utter nonsense.
......Hopefully.
He really hoped he wasn't reading this situation wrong.
"Ah, cara, I would not wish to impose....but if ever you are simply feeling the need for some company, I would not object to providing it." He smiled, and it was genuine, because he actually really would be fine with it, so long as it was just an innocent sleepover with no shenanigans, which he was almost one hundred percent certain it would be.
When Oliver joined them, Tommy leaned forward to give him an encouraging pat on the back, before sitting back again, and when Micah spoke up about not sleeping in garbage, the mist trainee gave a nod of his head, his expression turning serious. "That is good advice. I will have to remember it." As if he had actually thought about sleeping in garbage until that very moment.
Horace's contribution to Tommy and Hattie's banter was met with a stifled snicker that threatened to explode into full out laughter, but he somehow managed to hold it in, grinning wider than ever and giving his head a small shake, before shifting and adjusting his position on the cold, concrete floor, less out of being uncomfortable and more out of his typical inability to sit still for long periods of time.
Mercy got up and put on a movie, then, and Tommy settled back down, wrapping what part of the blanket he possessed more tightly around himself as he fixated on the wall that the movie would be projected onto.
"I have not seen this one, cara, have you?" He whispered, leaning towards Ana again but keeping his eyes on the screen-wall.
Suddenly, a kernel of popcorn sailed passed Tommy's head, and he let out a small sound of surprise, instinctively ducking under the blanket for cover.
It was almost as if he'd had food thrown at him before......
Shu in the bear Onesie felt much better when Hattie and Horace said hello to her, she was pleased that her guess was right but bothered by it on the other hand for her petite figure. She tilted her head and crossed her arm over her chest to think about it. Just one second later, she threw it away. Cheerful girl not bothered long by minor thing like that.
Happily waved back, she picked up her phone and rolled up the long loose sleeve and typed a message to the Harpy Tommy called. The content of it was simply saying it had been a while since last time, maybe she could pry from the boys what they owed them in the 2 vs 2 spar. Besides immoral things, she would accept almost everything.
Ohhh, Horace's introducing his friend to her! The petite intermediate trainee was pleased, "Oh Micah, which division are you from?" It was slightly difficult to talk with a person through three to four people so she leaned back for a while. Although Micah looked he wasn't the type easy to open up, Shu won't be scared by that. She resumed her position right as Horace asked about Ana, Shu took a glance at the quiet friend. "She's fine." Hearing his stressed words to Hattie, Shu guessed she still needed some times to not linking his sassiness with Elio who might be the first hunter she ever hate.
She took a look at Oliver who settled between Hattie and Tommy, she hoped the nervous boy could find his comfort. Since he didn't complain like Leslie, she automatically added him on her huggable list.
As Ana talked, her attention quickly snapped back to her. Her eyes flickered and decided she would share a little secret with the blanket girl why lighting was a problem to her. Shu leaned close and whispered, "I sleep-walk occasionally, if I don't lock my door, I would find myself waking up at the lightless corridor and not knowing which side my room is. It's scary when you're alone and couldn't see anything, right?"
After Hattie's screech, Tommy's words that consist of a foreign language drew her attention. He was an Italian so he should be speaking Italian. Why using non-English to speak it? That was suspicious. However, it was no longer important when Ana offered to be companion. Shu took an inward cheerful gulp.
Her feeling was complicated, on one hand, she was slightly upset neither of them offer to her. On the other hand, they were getting closer and better and she was happy for that. As a result, a painful musing sound lightly escape from her mouth. It felt like the time she wanted to push Milo and Noemi onto a date but she didn't want to be left behind by her friends. It was a paradox she never get a solution for.
Then, the lights all went off when she spaced out on her own problem, the movie had finally started. Shortly after she heard a small yell and felt a push from another side from Ana, something hit her nose and she winced. The eyes left the screen for a moment to catch the suspect, Rhys who wore a mischievous smirk and making tossing gestures was spotted quickly.
After realizing what happened, she sighed like a deflated balloon. Is her role forever to be someone's match maker? If he didn't want to be known he wanted have some attention from Mercy, she won't mind to be the distraction and she would help him if Mercy had feeling to him as well. But wasting tasty popcorn? Unforgivable! The petite Death picked up the kernel of popcorn that rolled down and rested on the crease of her Onesie and tossed into mouth. She then stuck out tongue at Rhys before she snapped her head back to movie. She hadn't watched this one yet.
