 Shannon held on to the rope with excitement practically radiating off her. She occasionally flexed her fingers as she waited for the teachers signal to start so they wouldn't get too stiff but was always sure to go back to gripping hard after a second. As soon as the signal was given she kept her feet planted and pulled back as hard as she could, tail flaring out behind her to help her keep balance.

Gaius did his best to keep attentive in his new class, though his eyes would wander from time to time as his mind would. But he was able to gather the gist of what was being taught, and the questions that followed. He didn't get sick very much, himself, but he'd seen others in his dorm who had sniffles and coughs that were surely very uncomfortable. And thinking back on those instances, he was able to remember a few things that the overseeing adults would tell to the others who, himself included, how to try and prevent getting sick themselves.
"Washing your hands a lot is something I've been told helps." he chimed up when it was his turn in the group.

Silas kept very attentive and very quiet in the class. He almost tried to be as still as possible too, to appear smaller, and maybe not even visible to those around him. Squeezing the plush he carried around with him religiously, his little face was covered mouth down by it, as he buried into it for comfort. He didn't like having to speak in front of everyone... so his nerves were higher than before.
Slowly, one by one, the answers would pop up in order, inching closer and closer to him. Tiny hands clutching to the plush stuffed animal in his arms, his eyes clamped tightly when he heard the freshling beside him give their answer, knowing his turn was next. With great delay, having to coach himself to speak up, he finally managed to say something,
"c-c...cover...ing.... your... your mouth when....y-y...ou cou..gh..." he stammered, volume fluctuating between an airy whisper, and just barely a peep.

 The tug-o-war was just as fun as Anchriesel had imagined. They lined up, grabbed the rope and pulled. Chries didn't pull very hard, partially because he was having too much fun, and partially because he couldn't pull very hard. He thought he'd made a good effort, but felt like he wasn't putting as much into it as his team had. Oh well. After class, he tentatively offered Kirket a high-five. "That was good," he murmured softly.

 Gwen thought a moment, then said "Use tissues, throw them away after each use, wash your hands after every use. Use germ-killing gel on your hands afterwards to be really safe." She nodded sharply, Gwen did not like people most of the time, but yucky messy germs is where she drew the line.

Lior lined up as he was directed, and held the rope in his hands firmly. Once everyone else started pulling, he attempted to join in, but being on the end of the rope he hadn't really expected the person in front of him to lean back so far. He lost his balance a few moments into the tugging and ended up toppling over, by then it was too late to really help out anymore! Oh well..... It had sort of been fun?

 Sighing she looked down at the test in front of her. This class wasn’t that hard but there were times when it seemed quite easy to get distracted or start to draw. It was true that what she was learning was important but she really enjoyed art classes more. Her notes had actually ended up being a series of little sketches and doodle in this class rather than actual words. She had made a fun little poem to help her study but it was more silly than useful she had found out when she tried to study last night.

How in all of the lands below could she have failed that last test? Well maybe it was a bit hard to read some of her answers since she had doodled in the margins without thinking about it. She was just so used to it for note taking that it had become a bad habit that even appeared on her test. Nibbling her lip she decided she would make sure not to draw a single extra thing and actually focus on this test.

Merri groaned. She hated quizzes for they implied she had been paying attention. While Kirket was nice, she much preferred the running laps over the common sense health stuff they got drilled with every day. She sighed, frowning at the questions as if they personally offended her. The Imp was at least confident if someone she cared about got hurt, she could stick a bandage on it or find someone who actually knew a thing or two. She was one of the last ones to complete her answers, tail dragging along the ground in frustration as she marched the quiz up to Kirket.

Personal space. Well. This was a class that Foras needed to take. Badly. He listened as Kirket instructed them, then sighed when it was his turn to speak. "I just don't touch people. At all. I don't like to be touched anyway so it works out." He shrugged, then settled back into place to listen to the next person talk.

Quizzes weren't so bad. The Nixie was confident she could pass, and if there was anything about herself she was confident about, it was that would stick her neck out to help someone if they actually needed first-aid. Maybe it felt so routine because she had gotten used to paying more attention to her skin care, needing more salves and the occasional ointment now that she was away from the moist Nixie cities. She scanned her dark eyes over the page, honestly dreading the walk to Kirket more than her grade. Trying her best not to do something like kick a bag or table leg, she made it safely up to the instructor's desk and topped the pile of papers with her quiz.

 Personal space was an interesting topic. Malachi mused over it, listening to his classmates before taking a chance to offer his answer. It wasn't something he thought of much. Normally he was the shy one in the bunch and most of the time others picked up on it and gave him his space. As such, he never really got too close to others. The only people he ever really was close enough to touch were Hailey -- not that she ever gave him much of a choice! -- and his mom. Everyone else seemed to keep their distance. Huh...
Then it seemed to be his turn to talk. Standing up, he spoke up a little but more than normal. He was trying to be braver now, after all. "I never have really thought much about it, to be honest. I'm usually a little distant from everyone, save Hailey. I guess it depends on how comfortable others look around one. Like... if they seem stand-offish, give them their space. And maybe if they are a bit more friendly, they might be more open to a closer proximity?" Nothing else was coming to him, so he quickly took his seat once again. Phew. At least tried and gave it thought.

 Hailey sat in class, amused at the topic as anything. 'Personal space. Pah.' she thought to herself, smirking as she did. But at the same time, class time wasn't really about her amusement... sadly. She had to at least try to sound like she might think about respecting personal boundaries.
Malachi was thoughtful and whatnot as always when he took his turn. He was so cute when he was shy and babbling... Oop! She should take her turn now that he was done. She stood herself up and took the sucker from her mouth. "I don't really worry about personal boundaries all that much. But, I guess if someone seemed like they were scowling or about to bite me, I'd stand back. I haven't really had much experience with others telling me I'm too close and stuff."
But for the sake of asking, since she was curious and actually a bit concerned now "How can you tell if others really don't want you to get too close to them? I mean... Khai tells me I have issues with it with others, but he never makes me stop with him cause he liiiikes it~" she said with a giggle, looking over to her thoroughly embarrassed boyfriend. "But he's different...." she took her seat again and looked back to her teacher as she waited for an honest answer. Was she someone who was rubbing others the wrong way because she didn't really keep her distance?
