Aw, the slime and two-legger have moved to anoth- The maids sudden scream causes the cat sidhe to try and jump, whirl around to face the possible threat, and run all at once. The result was the beginnings of a hiss, a knocked over table, a pained yowl, and a large feline trying to scramble back to her feet and flee from the scene. She finally untangles herself from the table and backs away from the screaming woman, back arched, teeth bared, and hissing in anger. And maybe a little bit of fear, though she would never admit it.

Goopy blubbered as he searched for the furry friend, trying to call out for the friend, curse these language barriers! This wasn't working, and the Goopling-wearing giant was still watching Goopy! Oh no you don't, Goopy slid behind the bar counter to try and keep away from her-

And then the maid screamed and there was the sound of a table crashing, Goopy flinched and bumped the back wall of the bar, a bottle of vodka falling to the ground next to Goopy and shattering, alcohol spilling onto the floor next to Goopy, his body absorbing it almost immediately. ...Goopy had never felt so strange and fizzy in his entire life. He wibbled and wobbled and spun around in a circle, wheeeeeeeeee~!

The maid's scream turned into a howl of rage as the giant feline overturned the table and caused a flower vase to shatter on the ground. The resulting mess and chaos shot whatever lingering calm she had left right out of the window.

"How dare you, you little beast! Look at what you did to the Mistresses entryway! Get out, get out, GET OUT!" she yelled, swinging the mop at the cat to scare it out of the building.

-------------------------------------------

"Oh what is that girl yelling about..." Martha groaned, opening the door and walking out to the banister to see what was happening below. She blanched at the destruction, and the large cat that was in her inn. What if it found Cailly? Would it eat her?! She tried to make her way back to the door before her curious pet escaped, but it was too late, she was already out and poking her head to see what all the commotion was.

Yvenne glanced back swiftly toward the entrance when the maid first screamed, but the sound of the glass bottle crashing close by regained her full attention. She then was greeted by the slime creature sliding around in dazed fashion, what appeared to be bubbles dotting the inside of its body. It didn't seem all that concerned about her anymore, so she took the chance to go and pick up a small waste barrel nearby, filled with some apple cores and left over food, and proceeded to creep close to the creature, raising high enough so that she could drop it over its body.

Goopy was dancing to beat of his own jellied drum, this was sooooo weeeeird! There was motion over at the stairs and Goopy saw a blue-haired giant come down from upstairs, as well as- FURRY FRIEND! Goopy wibbled and jumped happily, hi furry friend-

Why was it so dark?! The texture of this little prison felt familiar... barrel?! Curse you barrels, curse all barrels everywhere! ...Oooh, was there food in here? Okay this wasn't so bad after all. Goopy could handle the dark barrel prison as he sat digesting the leftovers.

Utter panic. This was not Silho's cave, this was not her forest. This was not her shadows! She found herself hidden within the trunk roots of a tree of a place she'd never been. How did she end up here? Had her world turned upside down? Had she slipped through the cracks in her slumber and had she fallen?!

This was truly troublesome…

Silho slithered up to the shadows of the bark on the tree to get a better look. She was in a village of solids, that much she could tell...The sun was not to high in the sky, but she still feared, unsure how this place worked.

If shadows could make a sound, she would be whimpering. This was not her home. She quivered, falling back between the cracks on the trees skin, she fell into a puddle like state, feeling sorry for herself.

That is...until….a mouse came creeping its way out of the wood, claws scratching down the roots, jumping into her. Silho quivered with glee. Transportation!

Silho grabbed onto the feet of the mouses shadow, shrinking to fit, trailing with it as it made its way into one of the buildings, cackling to herself at her fortune. Her form contorting the shadow of the mouse into her own form, her grinning mouth like a sickly slit across her own face, claws clicking as the mouse slipped into a crack and into the main room of the building.

Yes!! There was much more shadow to work with her, and it looks as if she wasn't alone here…

Silho stretched against the wall, letting the mouse go free, a thank you for letting her hitch a ride. She tilted her head. How odd….was that one...a slithering slime?

Where was she?

Seeing the Innkeeper carefully make her way down the steps midst the confusion of the maid trying to shoo the feline creature away, Yvenne put most of her weight down on the upturned barrel and scanned the bar for anything that might serve as a cover to she could flip it over on its proper side. The opening was small enough that a plate could fit about halfway over, and she could tip it so the slime didn't escape.

Reaching up to a table, she felt around for the disc she sought for, but remembering this was Martha's establishment and her penchant for keeping things tidy (as to why there was food still in the barrel was beyond her, somebody must have been slacking because the owner was ill), there was not a plate to be found. Frowning at her predicament, she wondered how she was going to do this. And then an idea hit her.

"Martha...come sit on this barrel!" she called to the woman, hoping that she would just listen to her instead of asking what she meant or giving her an attitude as usual.

Luckily for her, Martha really wanted to do nothing more than sit down, and stepping over the debris in her entryway, and evading the maid chasing the cat, she slumped down on the barrel, her face still pale. She watched the Healer balefully as she searched the place for a plate to use. Finding a decently sized one, she hurried back to the barrel and scooted a chair close for the Innkeeper to sit on, slid the plate under part of the barrel, and turned it on its side. Taking a quick pause, she then moved it so the opening was facing the ceiling.

Galemnius

The search of the twin's farmland had proved mostly fruitless. <<Fields... mud... mud... tall green... short green...>> That is until the creature happened upon the male two-legs prized possession, his one cow. <<What are you... beeg four-leg>> The Galemn stared through the fencing at the bovine curiosity with awe and wonder <<No horns but how so beeg?>> The Creature had tried to get a closer look at it but it seemed the black and white four-leg was penned in. Every time It would get close to the cow, it would trot over to the other side. <<Still now beeg theeng, why no stills?>> Through some slightly flawed reasoning it assumed that this four leg was special meat. The good meat came from the square thing, and this one was in a more open square thing. This deduction gave a measure of happines to the Galemn. <<New friend is special-meat...>> A wide smile crossed its features as it sat back on its hind legs to observe it's new friend.

As it was watching the cow, a very familiar and very unwelcome scent crossed its nose. <<Noooo... Grey howly four-legs no here, my specials>> It decided something would have to be done about those four-legs. It leaned over the pen and stared the cow in the eye. <<Special stay here... howly theengs bad... I fix now...>> The lumbering lizard then stalked off to deal with the encroaching howling that now surrounded the farm.

The Galemn's nose did not lie, as a pack of wolves came within range of the Twiggs farm. Noting the lack of the Farmers scent, they grew bold, weaving their way through the corn field to where the animals were kept, jaws snapping hungrily in anticipation of the kill. They would chase the animals out of the safety of their pens, scaring them into motion, the hunt would be good. Very good.

The Alpha of the pack stopped abruptly, as a new scent filled the air. Marshy, and the spice of a snake's skin. He growled at the scent, sending two of the pack to hide in the crops, in case this new thing was going to deter them from their goal.

Still tipsy and not quite comprehending what was going on, Goopy wobbled back and forth in the barrel as it moved around, was jostled and sat on, and suddenly he was turned upside down, wheee! With a bubbly -shlorp-, Goopy bubbled and stuck to the bottom of the barrel, still working on dissolving those leftovers contently.

Scáthach would have gladly left after that painfully loud scream, but the maid just had to say something she would find insulting. She trembles with rage as she stalks towards the woman, blue eyes glowing briefly before she swipes at the mop. The mop splinters on contact, helped to the breaking point by a well placed curse from the cat sìth. "Beast... Beast!? Who are you calling a beast after your horrid shrieking!?" The large feline snarls and hisses out her words, wispy tail lashing angrily, "Are you some gods damned banshee!?" Scáthach was furious, how dare this miserable two-leg talk this way to her? Her of all fluffy critters!

Heads turned in shock as the cat hissed out its words. The maid stared dumbfounded as the splinters of her broom fell to the floor. Yvenne placed a hand to her mouth, her eyes wide with concern for the well being of the girl. Martha gave a little gasp and slumped in her chair, fainting on the spot.

The maid raised a shaking finger toward the cat, mouthing opening and closing like a fish without water. She finally managed to find her voice. A whisper at first, then growing in intensity.

"D...D....DEMON!"

Away in his Church, Brother Carelius looked up suddenly from his scriptures. A candle had just blown out from an eerie chill in the air...

If you thought Scáthach was offended before then you ain't seen nothing yet. "Oh, now I'm a demon!" The cat growls, pacing angrily in front of the maid, "I am a cat sìth, you ignorant buffoon! A majestic queen among cats, not a demon! Don't you filthy humans know anything!?" Never before had she felt so offended in her life and she was absolutely livid. She lets out another hiss and flicks her tail, a plate shattering somewhere in the building. She honestly didn't want to break anything and as much as she disliked these two-leggers she didn't want to hurt them. Scare them yes, but hurting or killing would likely result in her never getting milk from them. Milk and respect, that's all the cat sìth asks for demands but apparently that is too hard for humans to figure out.

As quickly as the intoxication began, the vodka was burned out of Goopy's system, but owwie do you all have to be so loud? Don't you know there's a Goopling with a hangover here?

...Wait a minute, why was everything so dark? And why did this feel like deja vu? ...Dang it, it's another barrel! Well Goopy knows how to defeat barrels, and Goopy begins to try and rock the barrel back and forth to tip it like last time.

<<NEW OBJECTIVE: Make safe Special-meat>> Deter them it would. The Galemn turned to stalk the wolves. It had run ins with the nasty four-legs before. Sometimes it was hard to keep it's prey a secret, usually a good scuffle and a few hard swipes turned away the curious and hungry alike. It didn't have to go far, it wasn't long until before it were three large timberwolves. One a bit meaner looking than the others. <<Four legs go home... am hungry...>> The Galemn took a hunkered down stance A plan was hatching in it's swampy brain. <<Hurt meany one... others not good after meany dead>> It took off with surprising speed, barreling full tilt at the lead wolf. Huge powerful legs kicking up dirt and rocks <<Hungry fight is bad... Makes me meany too>>

The maid flinched as the plate shattered nearby, her lip quivering as the cat grew more and more agitated with her. She had never been so terrified in her life. First the cat shattered her mop in front of her very eyes by just a swipe of the paw, then it...it spoke! It may claim differently, but all she saw in front of her, pacing angrily, was an evil spirit. And these were probably going to be her final moments.

Yvenne stepped forward toward the cat creature, the shock passing and her usual steady clam returning once more.

"No, we do not know anything about your kind, or the slime ones for that matter," she said, taking notice of the green ooze trying to rock the barrel. She placed a firm hand on the outer rim so it wouldn't escape, "...what are we to do so that you will leave us in peace?"
