Well, I was born in the 80's so, I don't really know. Although... the 70's don't look too bad. wink I wouldn't want to be born in the Middle Ages--not even if I were a princess. But, I love the Renaissance. heart

Question of the day:

Which era would you like to have been born in and why?

Probably the renaissance(sp?) era, when being "big" was "in" xd

Hi! Since I missed all the questions (having just joined)... I thought I'd go back and do them now. smile

What is your favorite thing to do and why?
I think my favorite thing to do is just curl up with my husband and watch him play video games. Sounds boring, maybe, but I like it. It's sort of like watching an interactive movie, plus, for some reason, the music from games puts me right to sleep! And, I get the warm-snugglies as a bonus.

What is your favorite outfit to wear, and why?
probably one of my Holy Clothing dresses. They are really pretty, but also really comfy. So, I get to wear these dresses that have people stopping me to tell me how beautiful they are, which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, all the while being as comfy as if I am wearing a nightgown. smile

What are your favorite things to eat?
I'm with whoever said mashed potatoes and gravy! Fresh bread is another favorite. I also really like Hibachi (sp?) steak and chicken with rice. Or just rice!

Where do you like to hang out and why?
At my house, because all my stuff is there. Or at the park, when the weather's nice. Get fresh air, watch people, read, do whatever.

What was the last movie you watched in the theatre?
I don't go to the theatre much... in fact, I thinkt he last movie I saw there was either Saw or Shark Tale

What would you do if you were suddenly your perfect weight?
Well, much like alot of you, I'd go shopping! LOL... lso, my husband and I go to camping over Labor Day weekend at this clothing-optional camp. I have never dared wear less than a lightweight gauzy skirt and a tank top... if I suddenly found myself at my ideal weight, I think I might actually "dare to bare"... maybe smile

If you could go anywhere you wanted to, where would you go?
This one's easy, I'd go one of three places: Egypt, Greece, or Ireland

Which era would you like to have been born in and why?
Either Medieval, Renaissance, or Victorian

My friend's parents are in the military and they moved up here (I live in Alaska) a couple years ago from some other state, and when they moved up here they wrote to the Cracker Barrel and said they should open a resturant up here. They wrote back and said "Sorry, we're only open in the USA"

People are morons. rolleyes

Next time I go out of state to a place with one I'll have to check it out.

You think that's sad? A couple years ago I hosted an exchange studen from Ukraine, and my French teacher hosted one of the teachers that came over with the group, and she told us that one day they went to the store, and the cashier noticed her accent and asked her where she was from. When she said Ukraine she asked where that was. Okay, not that big of a deal, not a whole lot of people know where it is. But she said it was in Europe, and the cashier asked where Europe is. eek

Wow. Heres one. During the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics I got asked by some guy in PA where Utah was. I still get asked that.
