It was in! It was in! It's all over but the crying! Matthias torqued on the hold, arching back and putting tremendous pressure on the lower back and neck! But...wait...what's this? He hasn't tapped yet?! THE AUDACITY!
"TAAAAAP! TAAAAAAAAAP YOU LIMEY b*****d! ASK HIM! ASK HIM!" She shouted angrily.

The crowd is roaring in support of Cartwright, willing him on to continue resisting and find a way to escape!
Crowd: "CARTY! CARTY! CARTY! CARTY! CARTY!"
Commentator Guy: "Everybody is on their feet in support of the home town lad!"
Commentator Troy: "It's pointless! Look at that positioning! Look at the way that body is twisting and stretching! Give up now Cartwright! Save yourself now and fight another day!"
It appears that Cartwright is hearing and feeling the fan support! Cartwright attempts to free his arms from around Matthias' legs, where he would attempt a forward roll to surprise Matthias and change positions!

"No No NO NOOOO!" Matthias shouted after losing his balance from Cartwright freeing his arms, sending him tumbling backwards to his back!

The crowd leaps-up in excitement as Matthias falls back!
Commentator Guy: "Wow! Cartwright has escaped from The Scorpion Death Trap! This is amazing!"
Commentator Troy: "He just doesn't know when to quit!"
Cartwright is now standing with a hold on Matthias' legs while Matthias is on the mat, the forward roll was effective in switching their positions. Cartwright twists one leg in a four shape, it looks like he's dropping down for a figure four!
Crowd: "WOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

"AAAAHHHHHHH SONOFABITCH!" Matthias shouted in pain and fury. Legs twisted and tangled and bending in all the wrong ways, Matthias was pulling out his hair to deal with the pain!

Crowd: "TAP! TAP! TAP! TAP! TAP!"
Commentator Guy: "What a shift we have seen right in-front of us! It was turned from Cartwright locked into a submission to Matthias becoming trapped inside the ring!"
Commentator Troy: "Matthias looks like he's in a world of pain! Look at the twisted legs! The expression on his face! Cartwright's been practicing that Figure Four leg lock!"
Commentator Guy: "Aren't you going to encourage Matthias to save himself?!"
Commentator Troy: "I don't need to, Matthias can handle this situation! Just you wait!"
Cartwright sees no need to alter his strategy, as he can see how much Matthias is suffering. He keeps the Figure Four applied as the crowd continues to chant!

Matthias has to save himself and there's only one way to to that. He tries to roll himself over to reverse the pressure on the figure four! He tries rocking himself, back, and forth, back, and forth, building momentum to turn the submission around!
Edit: (Cart gave permission based on card ending today)
The resilient superstar is able to turn Cartwright over, reversing the pressure on the figure four! Cartwright is forced to release the hold on take unnecessary damage, but as he untangles their legs, Matthias kicks backwards straight in to Cartwright's groin! Clearly seen by the ref and everyone in attendance, but given the no dq rules, there's nothing anyone can do! Matthias stands up and limps over to Cartwright, clearly in pain from sustaining the figure four for so long, and very peeved at the direction of the match. He takes both of Cartwright's legs and swings back with his right foot, before swinging forward as hard as he can right in the taint! The entire arena feels that kick in the bean bag, grimacing in pain as Cart curls in the fetal position, allowing Matthias to cover him, and the ref to count. "1...2...3!"
The bell sounds as the ref calls for it in disgust. Matthias slides out of the ring as he's bombarded with popcorn and beer, the entire arena wanting to tear out his throat. Matthias decided to get out of dodge, the first thought on his mind was hiring security to get out of London alive.
