Mirai knew how asking questions went with Alley. The whole event--the way that Alley could move with insane speed. The claws that she had seen on her hands. She wanted to ask a million questions, but she knew she would only end up being frustrated. Was she some kind of genetic experiment? A super-human designed by B.A.I.T.R to be better than human? She sure seemed better than human. She was still shaken by the whole idea that Pyra had literally just died. And it had been so easy...it had happened in a split second and then WHAM. Just like that. It was sobering to realise that it was possible to die so easily--alive one second and then dead the next. They truly had entered into a hell of a dangerous line of work.

She wondered if she would have been better off just hunkering down and becoming an engineer like she had gone to school for. Then she thought about the gang. God, she had really screwed herself over with that. She wasn't safe without Baiter...besides, what was the use of even thinking about that? They essentially owned her now. She couldn't escape--they could just kill her and bring her back to life in their base. She had made her choice...watching people die a lot was probably going to be part of the repercussion.

The way that Alley had instinctively been there, though, just coming up to her and putting her arm around her while she cried...Mirai couldn't help but having felt like she had a friend there...like she used to feel when Kimiko would comfort her...but this was not the same. There was no trust. There could be no friendship. But that didn't mean that she couldn't at least have fun being around the other person for now, right? Their bantering back and forth was nice as they climbed the hill, as it took her mind off of the horrible event that just took place. They even joked about it a little, which was morbid, and she wouldn't ever disclose that to Pyra, as the woman would likely think they were the biggest assholes ever...but it helped.

Sure, she might have accidentally offended Alley, but the girl had no idea how complicated she was. How the hell was Mirai to know that she knew what butt meant if she didn't know what a** meant? There was so much that Alley seemed unaware of, that she didn't know how to gauge what she WOULD be aware of. Not her fault if she guessed wrong every now and then. She filed her passive aggression away about it though, deciding to ignore it this time around, and they managed to work their way up to the top of the hill that they had been running up a couple minutes before. In the darkness that had descended upon them, down deep in the forest, they could see the green lights that they were here to investigate. Finally they had reared their ugly heads, and the girls would have a chance to see just what might be causing the disturbance.

"Well, I guess it's time to get this party started." Mirai said with a small smile as she looked down the distance that they had to travel. They needed to make good time, too, which meant that they needed to move quickly. They couldn't afford to get there as the sun was rising and the disturbance was over. They needed to get there quickly. In this terrain, climbing down the mountainous area they were perched on, making their way through the entire forest, and finding those green lights...it was far longer than they had. The lights were dim from where they were--meaning that they were far. Too damn far. Mirai scratched her head as she thought about it and she heaved a sigh as she pulled out her lipstick tube. "Alright, I know you're not a huge fan of this, so I'm just taking a quick walk over to the side. I've got an idea, and you're probably going to hate it. But, I'll tell you in a second." She stated, walking over to the side a bit and pulling the contents out of the dimensional drawer. Before long, she had a bowl packed into her dragon pipe and she lit it up, breathing in the taste of caramel and vanilla, breathing back into the pipe, causing the smoke to leave with the same scent as it passed through the Dragon's mouth, breathing out a cloud of smoke. Mirai felt the buzz hit the back of her head--the light fuzzy feeling, and she knew that the one hit would be enough to calm her anxiety about Pyra and let her focus on the task at hand.

One thing that Mirai was extremely happy for was the fact that Alley did not know all of the effects of marijuana on the system. For instance, in a lot of people, their motor functions were much more slow and clumsy. That would raise a bit of anxiety about the whole thing, for certain. "I have some bad news for you, Alley. Even with your incredible agility, I don't think that we're going to be able to make it down to those lights before sun-up. There's just no way to travel that kind of ground over this kind of terrain in time. Hell, that's almost at the borderlines of the next areas. So, instead of dealing with the whole rigmarole of running through dozens of miles of forest and cliffs and all that fun stuff. I have a plan to get us there in a fraction of the time." She stated with a grin. The whole time she was talking she was tearing off large but flexible limbs from the trees around them, as well as looking for small, whip-like branches that she could use to wrap around the larger branches and bind them together tightly. Alley, while Mirai was going about this, raised an eyebrow at her, looking doubtfully in her direction. "And what would that be?" The last thing that she was going to need was some sort of material to drape over the frame that would allow them to catch a good breeze without it tearing. That was going to be the hard part. Mirai looked back at Alley and grinned from ear to ear. "You'll see~~. It won't take too long."

However, as she was thinking about it, the lights buzzed to life on her gauntlet, and U.B chimed in. "Anything I can do to...help?" Mirai was about to dismiss it and say no, but then a shock hit her system in her buzzed state and she grinned from ear to ear. "You know what...actually. Yes. I think there is. Give me access to your code. I need to make some alterations, if I can." "Whoa now! That's...top secret information in there." The voice came from some old film noir it seemed. "Yeah, yeah, I know. I won't change anything important on you, I just need to see if there's a way to make you materialize only parts of your body, and keep the consciousness as a whole inside of it, you know what I mean? If I can alter the code to keep you in there, but some of you out here...I win."

"I don't like the sound of that one bit." U.B. chimed back in, obviously a little sensitive, but the lights shone all toward the center of the glove and they projected a code-string that seemed to move by at an incomprehensible speed. But she looked through the code and interpreted it as she went with no problems at all. She seemed like a tough b***h, and a bit of a musclehead, but she was not a dumb girl, that was for sure. She poured over it over and over as she sat there, until she finally caught the string she was looking for. She cracked it. "Yes! Stop right there! We got it!" Her fingers dragged through the holographic screen and tapped a few places before the code seemed to begin to shuffle itself around and became a whirlpool of numbers and symbols.

In a short few seconds though, it ended, and she tapped her glove when the holographic screen disappeared. "U.B.?" She tapped it a few times before an annoyed voice called out. "Yeah yeah, you got it, alright. You fiddled with my soul, are you happy?" The voice constantly broke up to find new audio bits to fill in the words, but it got its message across. Mirai just grinned and nodded. Then she nodded as she finished up tying the frame together, going over it with multiple of the thin branches to make sure it was safe and secure, and then she had U.B. materialize the parts that she had needed -- the entire outer shell of its body, flattened with a slight curve to fit the curvature of the glider she had made. She then fitted the metal slabs across the frame, using the metal to cut into the sides of the wood and make small holding caverns along the glider so the metal sheets could not dislodge and fly away. To make it even safer, she looped more of the whip-like ranches through it and tied the metal to the frame as well. She stepped back to look at her work--it had taken quite some time, but she had finished it.

"Alright Alley. Here it is. Our way down there. We're flying baby." Alley immediately looked horrified at the idea of it, and shook her head. "Umm...no thanks. I think I'd rather walk instead." Mirai could see the fear in the girls' eyes and she knew immediately that there was no convincing her to get on this thing. "Well...okay...it's going to take you a hell of a lot longer to catch up though, you know. But, if that's what you want, then I can't force you. Can you just hold this rope for me so the thing doesn't blow away on me before we set off?" Mirai asked, holding out a vine-like rope that had been twined together with multiple thin branches. Alley reluctantly agreed, and Mirai thanked her for it as she set the glider up at the edge of the cliff they were atop and she looked down, taking a deep breath. 'I hope for both of us that this works.' She looked over to Alley and smiled pleasantly.

"Don't hate me for this, okay?" And in one swift moment the rope she was holding was looped around her wrist and tied tightly as Mirai then gripped her wrist and ran forward before she could pull away from her. One hand held the crossbar of the glider while they dove over the cliff, the other was on Alley's wrist, until she managed to slap Alley's hand down on the glider bar. They sped downwards, flying straight toward the bottom of the cliff and Mirai howled out an adrenaline filled WHOOP."Alright, just pull back a little, okay, it will level out the glider and cause it to swoop upwards and away from the ground. One...two...NOW!" They would both pull back on the thing, levelling it out, and sending them on their way, high over the branches of the trees below. "Hell yes! It worked! I've never flown before! This is amazing~" Mirai cried out as they flew through the air. Alley...well...she didn't seem to be enjoying herself so much. She was not responding to much that Mirai was saying, save for snarls, or complete silence caused by the fear she was experiencing. Mirai could understand why the woman would have been afraid at first--especially since it was so unexpected, but after they planed out, and were just gliding through the air above everything...it was a really gentle ride, and the view was spectacular. Even if it was dark out.

It took them just about as long as Mirai had expected--around fourteen minutes to get to where the green lights were shining bright in the forest, and Mirai grinned as she pointed down towards it. "Listen, I know you're likely pissed off, but let me tell you something, girl, I needed you here. I really did. I mean, what if there are baddies down there? I can't very well fight them all alone while waiting for you to run over. If we wanted to get through this mission, this was the only way. For what it's worth, I am sorry. I know that was a dirty trick." She said. It looked like Alley might respond, but when she pushed the bar to make it tilt forward and zoom back down toward the ground, Alley's mouth snapped shut and she resumed the look of horror. She'd likely give Mirai a talking to on the ground. The landing was not too bad--as they came in toward the green lights, they also began to hear music playing--loud, obnoxious, amazing, music. When they got even closer, it looked like they were smack dab in the middle of a damn rave party. They swooped low, and when they were close to the tops of the trees, Mirai nodded to Alley. SHe cut inbetween two of the tall trees and swooped just a bit lower before nudging Alley this time. "Alright, Alley. Let go!" The fall wasn't too bad, maybe ten feet max. With a roll on impact, they would take no damage from it--especially with their new bodies. And when they landed right in the middle of the damn party, they were absolutely surrounded by A.I.

"Holy s**t! The humans are here! Baiters! RUN!" Panic screamed through the crowd of A.I. and they all seemed to flee, crashing through the forests. However, several of them stayed, and they were not pleased that their party had been halted.

This. Party. Was. RAD! It had been a couple of weeks now--they had brought their sacrifices to the glade one by one, after conquering a small tribe of people living in the forest. They had partied all night while sacrificing one person per night to enhance the festivities, and it was incredible. They were actually almost fully complete their celebrations and rituals, and the Trap Master knew exactly what he was going to do. He could see a tipsy Trap Mistress hanging out across the way, and she had been giving him the eye all evening. Oh yeah. She wanted the T. And the Trap Master...oh was going to give it to her. ******** yes he was. All of a sudden, however, there was screaming, and commotion, and everyone scattered from the party into the forest at the sight of some humans. There had been so many of the A.I. here, it would have been simple to just tear them apart!

The Trap Master growled in anger as he looked at the two women who had landed there. "BRO! What's wrong with you bro?! I was going to get my T on, dudes, and you totally Tentacle blocked me! So. Not. Cool. Now, you see, I am going to ******** crunch you two and you are going to make it nice and entertaining for me to make up for what you've ruined." The Trap Master bellowed out as he snapped his neck, looking from side to side to see who had stuck around with him. Not bad. Three of them could do some damage for sure, they just needed to work together. If these guys were elite baiters, not even they would stand a chance. But...they were sure as s**t going to try to take the girls down. These bitches had no idea what they just ******** with. This ******** trapmaster was going to get his by the end of the night. Damn straight he was.

The Light Racer had been to the weeks long celebration a couple of times already. He hadn't come every night, because, well, it got a little bit boring, to be honest. Standing around and listening to rave music and sacrificing humans was fun now and then, but to do it all the time, every night, for multiple weeks? These A.I. were just looking for an excuse to get wasted on murder and oogle each other. It was quite pathetic...but...also enjoyable a little bit, in moderation. No harm in that, right? The Light Racer was usually pretty concerned with its standing with the higher ups, and how well it would learn to fight and kill and bring glory to their god, but it knew that it was alright now and then to take a break out from the work and just...cut loose, right? "Hey dweeb." One of the passersby said, bumping into the Light Racer and sending him stumbling to one side. One of those stupid jock assholes.

There was a shape that split through the night, flying in the distance, and the Light Racer wondered if it was even more people coming to join the party. The lights from the green crystals they used to power the alter that drained the humans of their life essence and breathed it--like a drug--into their clearing, fueling this party, definitely sent a bright light up into the sky that other A.I. could see for miles. But that was why they held it so far in the middle of nowhere, so humans wouldn't bother them. But, when the screaming erupted, saying the baiters were here, the Light Racer's eyes widened and he went to run, dashing for the bushes, but one of the a*****e jocks grabbed him by the shoulders and threw him back towards the battle, and where a particularly pissed off Trap Master was hanging out. Well...looked like tonight was the night he was going to die. Or his intellect would finally be recognized. But probably die.

She had the nicest fur of anyone here. She knew it. They knew it. They all knew it. She was beautiful, and her horns were perfectly shaped and curved, and her smile. DAMN. Her smile. She couldn't help but flash those sharp canines of her in the water of a nearby pond. She just...she loved parties. She loved having everyone flocking around her. The sound of humans screaming as they were sacrificed for their entertainment. God. It turned her on so much. But was she just going to go off and give herself to ANYONE? Hell no. She was going to make them work for it. Tease them, and leave them wanting more. And then maybe she'd go off with someone...or a couple of someones. Oh my goodness, it could happen. She almost galloped back to the party with glee, excited about the nights possibilities as she started mingling with the others again. "Like. Oh my god guys. This is so awesome. We should, like, sacrifice humans more often like this. I feel amazing. Their life force is so deliciousssss."

But then it all came crashing down with a couple of bimbo human sluts who wanted to come in here and try to show her up and make themselves look prettier than her. Especially. That. White. Hair. WHORE! The Elder Wolf knew a wolf when she saw one, even if it stood on two legs. "You FRACKING BEEITCH! You trying to come up in here and look all sexy with your two leg walk, girl!? Well you're not. You just wish you were as sexy an animal as I am, girl. Go home and FERGETABOUTIT!" She yelled, scraping her claws against the ground and getting ready to ******** destroy this poser.

Turn 1

The Elder Wolf stomped her paws on the ground, the lights in the area blaring as they swirled around and illuminated the area in an eerie, green haze. Her narrowed eyes stayed locked on to Alley's the entire time that she stood there, contemplating if she should make a move or not. She wanted to ram her horns through this posers thin little human looking body, but she wasn't sure if it was smart to rush in against a couple of baiters...they were only two versus the three A.I. who had stayed...but still. Baiters were known to be able to cut down multiple enemies...and the A.I. at their level, right now, stood no chance if these baiters were senior level. But at the same time...this woman...smell like a god damn wolf. She SMELLED like a wolf! SHE HAD TO BE ONE! She had to be! And not only that, but she stood on two legs and looked like a hot human woman, while still having all the benefits of being a wolf. Like...the elder wolf males had been looking at her with drooling mouths as they ran away and DAMMIT she was not going to have this human hoe outshine her. That was it. That decided it. She was going in hard, and deep and FAST and all the other sexual innuendos she could make.

She immediately ran forward, lowering her head and charging with all of her might. "You're not taking any of these wolves for yourself, you imposter, b***h! I don't know who you think you are, but you are not good enough to be at our party. You need to walk your a** home, skanks!" The Elder Wolf growled, with a very clearly 'stupid rich girl' tone. As she got closer to Alley, she immediately lifted her head with as much force as she could muster, and sent her horns slamming up toward Alley's gut, hoping to disembowel the human enemy. As soon as the Elder wolf had reefed her horns up toward the woman she hopped backward a step and a half, and then immediately lunged forward once again, this time, going to bite the woman right in the throat, if she could.

Tempers were flaring, and the Trap Master was not going to have any of this bullshit. He was not going to let these baiters come in here and ruin their ritual sacrifice of their enemy, while getting pretty buzzed and possibly making bad life decisions and going home with certain tentacle related disease that he didn't want to have to think about until much later...when he had them...because why think about that now, while he was partying, and having a good time?? Why would he do that to himself? Why would he kill his own. Damn. Buzz. None of that mattered now. These little floozies just came in here and ******** everything up. Now the Trap Mistress he was getting ready to slide on over and copulate with was gone. She was gone, and all that was left was the aftermath of an incredible party that missed out on the best damn part of the whole thing. But that didn't matter--because now, the party might have been cancelled, but there was a new main show. This a**-kicking brawl was about to become the bloodiest, most brutal ritual ending deathmatch of all time. It would go down in their friend group history as the most incredible party ever thrown, and HE was going to be the reason why! YEAH!

He rubbed his hands together, wondering who was going to make the first move, when the Elder Wolf female he had seen earlier that night, trying to grind up on about six different guys, in her drunken stupor, blasted forward with reckless abandon. He dug it. He kind of got a little turned on...oh boy. Maybe there could be a little tentacle rubbing time after all. Oh yeah, he could pet that sweet fur with his face tentacles. Scratch her back and feel the fur bristle against him. DAMN. Sure, it was little more than a hug with your face, to humans, but it was a very intimate experience that they couldn't possibly understand. He watched as the Elder Wolf went for one of the females, the second female, wearing some sort of sleeveless jacket, would be the Trap Master's target. He darted forward, his body suspended in the air as he concentrated on his energy and let his longer, dagger-tipped tentacles drag behind him as he zoomed forward. As he approached Mirai, the first of the long tentacles came ripping forward from behind him, aiming to skewer the asian woman from the front, right in her belly. Then, as thaty tentacle was still going for her, a second came slashing across, aiming right for her throat. He would bathe in this woman's blood.

Turn 1
Elder Wolf: 60 - 25 = 35 - 100 = 65

A beauty outside,
a beast inside

Alley watched silently as Mirai messed with her gauntlet, talking to the thing inside, guessing it was her AI. She wasn't sure what Mirai was building, it was odd to say the least as it was being formed. She stared at the lights in the distance, lifting her nose toward the direction to try and see if she could catch any scents ahead, but sadly the wind was against her. She grimanced, wishing she what they were going to be facing, normal humans or AIs. She couldn't say for sure, not without at least some kind of scent. But her hearing was picking up something, music, laughter. She was confused what was going on down there and wanted to know right away. Though she wished Mirai would let them get going while they could.

Alley turned toward Mirai when she said her name, seeing that whatever Mirai was making was finished. She frowned immediately when Mirai said they were flying, and even calling her baby as well. Was this some kind of new way to call people? She really didn't the appeal. But she shook her head toward the idea of flying, quickly telling Mirai that she would rather walk. She narrowed her eyes at Mirai when she asked her to help her get flying by holding onto rope. She slowly took it, shaking her head. If Mirai got killed by doing this, it wasn't on her, she would make sure of that. She raised an eyebrow when Mirai looked over her shoulder and smiled, asking her to not hate her for this. Hate her for what? Flying? Before Alley could think, the rope would around her wrist and Mirai grabbed it, pulling with her as she took off in a run toward the ledge. Alley did try all she could to try and stop them, but sadly she soon found herself seeing the ledge disappear before her, Mirai pulling her hand up until it gripped the bar. Alley gripped it hard, her nails growing out to get an even better grip to keep from falling, her other hand joining and doing the same. She watched as the ground seem to be flying toward them, making a scream rip from her throat for a few seconds. She barely heard Mirai speak, but quickly followed her instructions, feeling her stomach clench as the glider lifted, cutting off her screaming and only horror was on her face.

The ride seemed to take forever, not the fourteen minutes it took, to get to the lights. Alley held on for dear life, though she was sure her stomach would never feel right with Mirai around, especially if she kept these kind of activities going. Alley barely gave a glance at Mirai as she spoke to her, saying her apology. Alley wanted solid safe ground, not words. She was glad to hear Mirai tell her to let go, more than willing to let the contraption go. She released, tumbling as soon as she touched ground to avoid getting hurt. She lifted her head, flipping her long white hair out of her way as she looked around them. They were surrounded, were being the key word. They all seemed to run off at the sight of them. Alley quickly turned to Mirai, wanting to get something out to the girl before giving chase. She grabbed the front of the girl's jacket but paused when she realized she was being talked to. She turned toward the four legged AI that called her another word for a female dog. She snarled at the female, smelling the wolf inside her. The wolf inside Alley was churning. Well at least she knows a good piece of a** when she sees it. Tear her to pieces babe.

Alley ignored the UniBlaster, her eyes on the female wolf. She watched as the horned wolf threw her head at Alley, quickly grabbing the horns and stopped them from slamming into her torso. She dodged to the left when the female snapped her large jaws toward her throat, ducking low as she did. Alley was on all fours when her transformation came completely. Her nails growing long as well as her fangs, snarling at the female wolf before her. “Let's see who's the stronger female.” She snarled before charging forward, leaping forward and slashed her claws forward toward the wolf's throat.

What scares you more, the human or the beast in me?

Turn 1

Trap Master's Attack x2: 50 - 47 = 3 (100 - 3 = 97% Defense Chance)

As they landed on the ground and the A.I. seemed to scatter into every direction, Mirai was glad that they were all spooked. That many A.I. at once would have been impossible for them to deal with. She imagined, from the look of things, here, that these A.I. had a little too much to...drink...or something? Maybe? Did A.I. drink? These rave lights, and the things that they were saying...it didn't make sense. Was she really that high? She only had a couple of puffs, she never hallucinated off of her stuff, not ever. But, there it was, an elder wolf sitting there calling them skanks and bitches, and telling them that they weren't going to get with any of the wolves here? What in the actual ********? Not to mention the ******** with the tentacles, BROing it up off to the side, and brooding about how he wasn't going to get his 'T' on? God damnit, this was too much. At that point, Alley grabbed her by the jacket, pulling her close, and Mirai flinched beneath the sudden grab, but she made no move to defend herself. If Alley socked her one in the jaw, she knew she deserved it. She did after all just throw her off of a cliff.

Mirai had never done hard drugs, but for the first time, she really felt like she had. There was no way that things like this existed. The A.I. were monsters...hell-bent on destroying humanity. They weren't party-going sassy teenage ******** idiots! Mirai rubbed her temples, trying her best not to let it get to her as she tried to figure out what the hell she was going to do. But, in that moment, the Elder Wolf made her move, charging toward Alley and trying to skewer the woman with her horns. "Alley, I know you're busy. But PLEASE. PLEASE tell me that you're hearing all this whacked out s**t, too?" She yelled over at her teammate. It was at that point that things started to make a little less sense.

When she looked over to Alley, the woman was deflecting the Elder Wolf's attacks, easily, but when she dodged to the side of the Elder Wolf, Alley went down on all fours, her claws elongated, and her teeth more like rows of shark teeth than human's. A guttural snarl escaped the woman's throat, much like a dog's, and Mirai's eyes widened as she launched herself at her enemy like a wild animal. Jesus. ********. Christ. Mirai was tripping balls. Alley was turning into an animal, and these random A.I. were sacrificing people and absorbing their essences to get high? Yeah...right. This s**t was NOT happening. Then it was bro-force's main character coming at her. The Trap Master swung its tentacle directly toward Mirai's gut, trying to skewer her, and she narrowed her eyes as she quickly spun to the side, avoiding the strike. As the second tentacle came ripping toward her throat, she merely dropped backwards, catching herself with one hand before she fully hit the floor, and then pushing herself off, directly back into a standing pose after the tentacle had cleared her.

"Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy." Sounded off an excited cartoon dog. "It's time to get this started~~" U.B. was pumped. The gauntlet that it was housed in immediately sprung to life, the lights changing color and music beginning to emit from it. The music played into the air around them, and Mirai grinned from ear to ear. ******** it. She could figure out what was going on after...if she wasn't hallucinating this whole thing, she had to at least try her a** off to survive it. The beat crept in slowly, subtle and quiet until it picked up pace and became a retro rock EDM anthem. There were few lyrics other than some call-outs in the midst of the repetitive beats, but it was the kind of stuff that was east to move to...and that was exactly what Mirai needed. She blasted forward toward the Trap Master, throwing her body forward, and toward the ground. She planted her hands on the ground, bringing her feet over her head and toward the Trap Master in a vicious scorpion kick toward the top of the b*****d's head, twisting her body and throwing her legs to the side into a cartwheel that brought her back to a standing position. She ran forward this time again, planting her hands into a hand spring, back to her feet, and back to a second hand spring, pushing herself high into the air so she could come down with a vicious punch with the gauntlet, toward the top of the thing's head once again. It looks squishy...and big...and fun to punch. What could she say. She thought it would look hilarious to watch the thing's head jiggle.

Turn 1

The Light Racer was relieved, at the very least, when the battle started to explode around it, and everyone seemed to go about their own business, ignoring it was even there. It could...it should be able to just leave, right about now, right? It could just scurry away and nobody had to notice that it was even headed off. This wasn't the scene that it liked, anyways! It didn't even like to stand around breathing in the drug-like human essence that these other A.I. were feeding off of. Naw...it enjoyed just relaxing at home, much better. It just wanted to go home...to go home and get away from this nightmare. It wasn't a bad person...it wasn't a bad person. It didn't deserve this! Right before the light racer was about to leave, however, its wings preparing to launch itself into the sky, it met eyes with the trap master, and the A.I. seemed to burn holes through its body with its eyes. Immediately the light racer knew that it could not leave...it would be branded a coward and a traitor, and who knew what his own people would do to him, then?

With a begrudging sigh, the light racer immediately took off into the sky, blasting upward and preparing itself as it knew it needed to make quick work of these enemies so it could go home. It prepared itself before speeding down towards the baiters, and their A.I. enemies. The Elder Wolf was the strongest of them, so she would likely make quick work of her enemy, so it was the Trap Master who would need the help against the spinning, music playing woman he was fighting. Humans were so strange--the things they did to cope with the horrors of battle. She almost seemed to be enjoying herself as she danced to the music, attacking the trapmaster at the same time. The Light Racer blasted down at her, cocking back its fist and aiming to slam it into her face as it passed by her. Immediately the light racer would turn on a dime, shooting back toward her for a second time, this time, aiming to crush her sternum with a vicious strike as well.

Turn 2

Alley's Attack: 47 - 60 = 1 (100 - 1 = 99% Defense Chance)

As the Elder Wolf slammed her head upward towards the enemy female, her horns were caught by Alley, and she was able to actually stop them full in their tracks. She had been totally out-powered by the woman! Stupid Baiter! Stupid two-legged wolf girl! Stupid stupid stupid! The Elder Wolf then tried to chomp down on the woman's neck, but instead of receiving the mouth full of flesh that she had hoped for, she was met with a loud snap of her jaws closing on nothing but air. Alley had moved to the side, dodging out of the way of the snapping jaws of the Elder Wolf, and then, right after Alley had gotten out of the way, the woman was down on her hands and feet, snarling toward the Elder Wolf. She even had the gall to call her out! To call HER out! She wanted to see who the stronger female was!? She wasn't even a real wolf! She was just a human masquerading as a wolf! "Listen here, b***h! You don't even belong here. You're nothing but a cheap imitation!" She snapped, and at that point Alley was already lunging toward her throat. There was no way that she would be done in by some human copy. They must have done some sort of test on her--because, even with the long hair, and the claws and fangs, she was just a lookalike. That was all. The Elder Wolf could smell the human on her almost as much as the Wolf. Disgusting.

As Alley attempted to slice her claws across the Elder Wolf's throat, she immediately hopped backwards, putting enough distance between them that there was no way the claws could reach her. As soon as she had managed to back away from the attack, she took a quick look around her, making sure the others were okay. The aerial acrobatics of the Light Racer would hopefully help them out as well--they outnumbered their enemies. This was good. At least three had stayed, and not just the two of them. The Elder Wolf shook the groggy feeling the human essence had left with her, off, and she charged forward once again. Right before she reached Alley she reared up on her hind legs and brought the front legs down, attempting to slam the enemy with the front hooves right in the face. She was going to mess this girl up something fierce. She didn't care about any sort of code of honor. Anything was game--even if she ruined this girl's face forever. As soon as the hooves came down, she dropped low and charged forward again, aiming to slam her head into Alley's knees and knock her off balance, or to the ground.

Turn 2

Mirai's Attack x2: 40 - 40 = 1 (100 - 1 = 99% Defense Chance)

The Trap Master was not a fan of being made a fool out of--but even less so of being out-manned by a woman. If a woman was ever stronger than him, he had an excuse for it...he had to save his over-inflated masculinity, at least. So, when his first strike was nimbly evaded, it left a bitter taste in its mouth. When the second strike was also dodged, expertly, by the woman, it started making the Trap Master even more irritated. It was at that point that the music began to play around them, and the Trap Master wondered where it was coming from, until he saw the gauntlet's lights changing along to the beat. The woman liked to fight to music...he could at the very least respect that. Even if she was a woman...and had ******** up his whole god damn party! Yeah, he wasn't going to respect this b***h, no matter what she did. He cared about one thing: killing these fools, and then finding himself a lady to settle down with for the evening. Maybe even that crazy Elder Wolf would be a good night time partner. Until they woke up and went their separate ways, at least.

It was at this point that the woman made her move to fight against him, and she charged forward. He tried to prepare himself for it, but she was insanely fast. She threw her hands down right in front of him, and as the scorpion kick came down toward the top of his head, the Trap Master flung its tentacles up and wrapped them around her leg, halting the kick before it could land and tossing the leg to the side, which the woman ended up only using to her own advantage as she began to spin, until righting herself once again. This time, however, she backed up, making her way toward the Trap Master in a series of flips and springs, until she launched herself into the air and attempted to bring her fist down in a savage punch to the top of the Trap Master's head. The Trap Master actually floated backwards, drifting back from her for a moment. The strike landed on the ground instead of on the top of the Trap Master's head, and the thing snickered as it looked her over. "Sorry, sweet thing, you may be hot, but your looks won't get you anywhere." He said, grinning as he lashed out once again--his first attack swinging a vicious bladed tentacle at her face, trying to cut across her eyes if he could. The second was a fake out. It swung a tentacle toward her neck, once again, though it was half-assed and not actually trying to hit. Instead he pulled to the side and swung a vicious punch toward the side of her head, hoping she was too busy with the tentacle to see the punch coming.

Turn 2
Elder Wolf: 60 - 25 = 35 - 100 = 65 HIT!
300 - 75 = 225 - 50 (AI Ability) = 175

A beauty outside,
a beast inside

Alley glanced at Mirai when she started yelling at her, asking if she was hearing what she was. What in the world was that woman talking about? Of course she heard them as well. She could only guess that whacked out s**t meant weird things. She was really going to have to sit with Mirai and learn her speech patterns. She could barely understand the woman and could only guess currently what she was saying. Alley turned her attention back toward the Elder wolf, not able to hold back the snort of disbelief at the wolf AI. She was calling her a cheap imitation. What made her think she was the original or even among them. This AI wasn't exactly in the right mind if she thought she was a wolf herself. Alley watched her claws swipe at the air. Alley looked at the others with the Elder Wolf, seeing that Mirai was alone, fending off two AIs on her own. She was concerned for Mirai, sadly the concern made her miss the fact that the female had come toward her and hit her fully in the face, causing her to see stars and stumble back, covering her face with her hands as the pain blossomed all around it.

Alley felt the ground rumble from the elder wolf's hooves stomping on the ground, Alley didn't even look as she made a blind dodge, shaking her head. She smelled blood. She lifted her hand and touched the bottom of her nose, finding that it was bleeding. Unknown to her, her nose was broken and her left eye was black and swollen. She growled as she regained her balance, slowly turning to the Elder wolf. “I think the phrase is 'calling the kettle black.'” She growled, looking hatefully at the female. “Wolves don't have hooves and antlers, you egregiously blabbering ignoramus!” She spat out her insult before charging at the female again, swinging her claws at the female's face. 'Ooooh look at my babe throwing out those smart words!' The Uniblaster said, the sounds of revving in Alley's head, her blood seeming to go into a rush along with the Uniblaster's excitement.

Turn 2

Light Racer's Attack x2: 45 - 47 = 1 (100 - 1 = 99% Defense Chance)
Trap Master's Attack x2: 50 - 47 = 3 (100 - 3 = 97% Defense Chance)

Mirai had her back against a wall at this point. There were two of them who were targeting her, now, whilst Alley was being kept busy by the third enemy. However, it wasn't exactly equal no matter how you looked at it--the thing that was attacking Alley was way stronger than these other two goons. Mirai's eyes widened as she noticed the Elder Wolf slam her head into Alley's face, immediately breaking the woman's nose. Blood dripped from her nose as she stood there, but she seemed to recover from the headbutt pretty well--all things considered. She had, after all, just gotten slammed in the head by a giant, hairy she-wolf. Thing. But, either way, she was still fighting, and that was all that mattered--if she had fight left in her, then she was certainly not dying. They already had to deal with that once...Mirai wondered if this would have been any easier with Pyra around. She bit her lip, the guilt of causing her friend to fall over that cliff hammering her once more. But, hey, they could laugh about it eventually, she was sure. After all, Pyra wasn't really dead.

She had no time to think about all of this crap, though, she was in the middle of a damn fight. The Light Racer was coming down at her, now, and she had to make sure that she was prepared for it. As it swooped in toward her, throwing a vicious punch toward her face, Mirai threw a hand down, sweeping her legs outward and poising herself low, the momentum of her legs sweeping her around in a full circle, while planted on nothing but her hand, her body only a couple feet above the ground at its highest point. The punch went over her by a long shot, and then when the Light Racer zipped back, it tried to slam another punch into her chest and Mirai hurled her legs suddenly, upward and over her head, performing a backward somersault and avoiding the second strike as well. But, then, it was the Trap Master's turn. The Trap Master called her 'sweet thing' and Mirai almost lost it. She laughed out loud as he attacked, bending backwards like Neo from the Matrix, avoiding the horizontal swipe. Then, as the tentacle b*****d tried to hit her again, swinging his tentacle toward her neck--but it was lax. She narrowed her eye and as she had started attempting to avoid the tentacle, she had no time to physically move out of the way--she had to stop the attack with one of her own.

She immediately lashed out, slamming her fist out into the incoming fist, stopping the blow completely with her gauntlet. She smirked at the Trap Master and shook her head. "Well, you now what. Being an ugly monster with dicks coming off of your head isn't going to help you any either." Mirai stated, laughing right at the stupid jerk. She knew guys who had acted much like this Trap Master, and she was sure something like that would infuriate him--only time would tell, of course, but she had a good feeling about it. Then, without warning she launched herself forward, taking a few running steps and then throwing herself forward in a dive that she caught herself with, planting her hands and then springing herself forward, her legs stretched out, in a projectile toward the Trap Master, literally shooting herself like a javelin at the weird, octopus thing. As soon as she would land from her journey through the sky, she would tuck and roll, popping out of the acrobatic maneuver and then turning as fast as she could to face the Trap Master once again, blasting toward it, and unleashing another vicious punch toward the thing's blobby forehead.

She heard Alley screaming back at the Elder Wolf, and Mirai quirked a brow as she looked over in Alley's direction. "Damn, girl, you know some pretty intense words for someone who doesn't have a huge understanding of language." She stated, a look of confusion as well as being impressed by the woman. It didn't matter to Mirai if Alley had claws and teeth--she was a bad a**, and she was helping her fight right now. That's all that mattered to her. This was their time. "If I could hit these bitches, I would help you out, I'm sorry you got stuck with the teen deer-wolf." She called out, knowing that the enemy that Alley was fighting was a hell of a challenge. Mirai just needed to start landing some hits. The beats continued to blare around them, through her gauntlet, and she grinned as she fought, as always, adrenaline pushing her through the encounter.

Turn 2

The Light Racer, as it came down, zipping into the fight and attempting to punch the woman, was surprised by her incredible agility. She was able to easily avoid the attack it had thrown her way, and when it turned around and attempted a second strike, it didn't have even a phantom of a chance to land it against her either. The second, towards her body, was met with a somersault that sent the woman rolling backwards and out of the way of the attack at her chest. She was a strange one--this asian woman. Almost as strange as her friend, who seemed to be almost as much animal as human. Music played around them as they fought--a steady beat with little to no actual lyrics to the music--just beats for the sake of beats. That was something the Light Racer could get behind. It watched everything unfold--at the very least the Elder Wolf had managed to land a hit on the wolf-girl, now. They were ahead. The three of them had an advantage in the beginning, sure, but now it was broadening. That could never hurt.

As Mirai attacked the Trap Master, and Alley attacked the Elder Wolf, the Light Racer prepared itself, sneakily, shooting up into the air once again. This time, however, it came down with everything it had toward the Wolf, Alley. It wanted to catch her by surprise, and if it could do that, then maybe they could eliminate one of them quickly, and then stomp over the second one right after. As it came down, it tried to approach from the woman's blind spot--directly above her. It shot downward and aimed to slam a fist down into the back of her head without her being able to see it coming. Right after that, the Light Racer swooped around, building steam and then coming right back from behind. It had been made fun of and teased for its sharp intellect, and lack of female companionship, but it wouldn't be the butt of this joke. It was going to make something of itself, dammit. As it came in, it aimed its second attack as a sweeping kick toward the back of Alley's legs.

Turn 3

Alley's Attack: 47 - 60 = 1 (100 - 1 = 99% Defense Chance)

As the Elder Wolf charged forward to strike the stupid little twig-human girl in front of her, she put everything she could into the blow--and it was well rewarded. Her skull smashed against Alley's and busted the woman's nose, easily breaking it and bruising the hell out of the side of her face. The damage that had been done with the single headbutt was alarming, to say the least. As she came in for the second attack, however, things were different. The wolf-girl made a dodge to the side, blindly, and actually managed to escape the attack unscathed. Fine. If she wanted to play hard-to-get, she would play! The Wolf was about to get herself ready when suddenly the wolf-girl said something about Wolves not having antler or hooves. "Yeah, that's right, b***h! I'm an ELDER wolf. We're everything a wolf is, just better. As for those things you called me, I am going to pretend I didn't hear them, because I don't understand, and you're just trying to be all superior with your smart mouth, and stupid sobriety!" The Elder Wolf spat, obviously starting to get angry. She was too hopped up on human essence to even begin trying to search her memory banks for what those words meant. But she would totally know when she was sober. Dammit!

It was at that point that the other woman made the comment that boiled the Elder Wolf's blood. Mirai made the comment about her being a deer-wolf, and the Elder Wolf whirled toward her with narrowed eyes. "I am not a deer! MALE DEER HAVE ANTLERS! I am a sexy, desirable, WOMAN, you b***h! And you're just jealous that you won't ever have the kinds of mates that knock at my den." She bellowed. Her hooves scraped the ground, and she snorted hot air from her nostrils as she got even more angry. Her fur stood on end, and she seemed to grin for a moment as her eyes reflected a dangerous red light. "Let me show you the strength of the ELDERS!" She boomed, her body seeming to expand, the muscle on it growing outward at a rapid pace. Then, suddenly, the wolf shot forward toward Mirai, lowering her head and using her increased speed to try to impale the woman, if she could. As soon as she tried to thrust her horns up into Mirai's gut, she would pull back and then immediately pound forward once more. She was trying to do one thing and one thing only--skewer this b***h, and show her who the 'deer-wolf' was...or was not...whatever.

Turn 3

Mirai's Attack x2: 40 - 40 = 1 (100 - 1 = 99% Defense Chance)

When the Trap-Master had attempted to make a fool of this woman, by telling her that she was hot, but it wouldn't get her anywhere, he hoped that maybe she might try to get out of being killed by telling him how much she wanted to be with him, and they should just leave together right now, and make sweet tentacle love in the bushes. But no, instead, she came back with some sort of comment about DICKS. Dicks on his head!? Are you serious!? This b***h was going to call his sweet tentacles something as lowly as DICKS??? The Trap Master was more than just angry--it was livid. The woman was dancing around his strikes once again. This time she was able to bend backwards to avoid the attack at her neck, and then, when he tried to feint her and punch her in the side of the head, the woman was prepared. She swung her fist when she could not swing her body, and the fist landed directly against the Trap-Master's stopping the attack dead in its tracks.

She was a thorn in his side, dammit. It was at that point that the woman made some sort of comment against the Elder Wolf--bad call. The Elder Wolf came swooping in toward Mirai with a vengeance, and if the Trap Master had learned anything about those Elder Wolf females it was this: Do. Not. ********. With. Them. I mean, intercourse was on the table, sometimes, but messing with them in any other way was likely a bad idea, as this human woman would find out. The Trap Master snickered, his fists balled at his sides as he watched the Elder Wolf do her thing--he didn't need to get pissed and respond to the woman's comment about him. He wouldn't allow it to get under his skin...god damn d**k comments. Then, he figured, while the Elder Wolf was trying to attack, the Trap Master would show this woman who she was messing with. It carefully prepared itself before it took a deep breath, eyeing up the woman. Suddenly all three tentacles shot forward and attempted to snare around Mirai, and if it succeeded, it would pull the woman off balance and entrap her within the A.I.'s grips.

Alley turned her attention back to the wolf and just stared at the wolf with an unimpressed facial expression. That was what this creature's argument was? That she was an ELDER wolf. “Elder means you're old. Not that you evolved, perhaps your age is messing with your mentality.” She heard a snap inside her head. BAM! Alley realized that it had been Uniblaster that made the sound, having some kind of image of it snapping it's one hand. “You're so annoying.” She growled, as she started to charge after the Elder Wolf. It seemed that she didn't care for Mirai's deer comment about her.

Alley noticed too late that one of the AIs that had been attacking Mirai was missing, feeling something slam onto her head, she held her head as she moaned, glaring at the Light Racer that landed not too far from her. She saw that it was coming at her again, she jumped up when she saw it was going low for her legs. She felt the world tilt, realizing the head injury did more to her than she realized. She landed clumsily back on her feet, taking in a few deep breathes until the dizziness finally went away. She was really getting tired of these things. If she died, they could count on her coming back later for them. She turned, a snarl tearing out of her throat as she charged forward and made a swipe at the Light Racer's face with her claws.

Turn 3

Elder Wolf's Attack x3: 70 - 47 = 23 (100 - 23 = 77% Defense Chance)
FAILED! 350 - 141 = 209 Damage (-50 from T.A. = 159 Damage)
Trap Master's Attack: 50 - 47 = 3 (100 - 3 = 97% Defense Chance)

Mirai was almost laughing at this point. The sound of laughter echoing throughout the forst. Wait...oh s**t...nope, she was laughing. She WAS laughing. This had gone from weird to the weirdest things that had ever happened in her entire life. This was what being a baiter was like? Your friends (or at least people who you'd like to be friends with regardless of their secrets), turning into wolves--your enemies turning into high school students. What the hell was going on here? Then she realized something she had yet to realize before. The humans that they had sacrificed--all of them were young--the corpses that lay beside their party alter had backpacks strewn about them as well--they had absorbed the life essence from humans as a drug, using their party alter, and now they were gaining mental attributes of those highschool kids. The Elder Wolf clearly had a massive issue with being the most popular girl ever--in her own head. The Trap Master was the douchiest ******** she had ever seen. And the Light Racer...he was quiet...classic introvert? Who knew. He was the mystery card.

Mirai was getting used to the quick little b*****d's attack patterns--ready to dodge and weave past his blows--but now, she was finding herself missing the bugger. He was not pestering her--she was instead accosted by the queen b***h of the forest of death high school, here. But, something happened when the Elder Wolf got mad--she transformed her body. She became enraged and her body seemed to instantly bulk up--becoming much larger and muscled before she charged forward, blasting with her new-found strength, right toward Mirai. Apparently she had not appreciated being called a deer...because only males had antlers like hers, and she was no MAN. Alright, Mirai could see how being called a dude might piss you off...but really, girl? As the Elder Wolf came shooting in, Mirai attempted to hurl herself to the side, but as she went to move, the Elder's body seemed to blink forward with a final, massive, kick off the ground, and the horn was inside Mirai's midriff before she could even feel the pain.

Her mouth dropped as she looked down, feeling the horn yank out of her as the Elder Wolf pulled it out and then suddenly rammed forward toward her again, and once more after that. Mirai managed to grab the horns as the Elder Wolf was coming in the second time, using the strength she had--no matter how much it killed her stomach to do it--and pulling herself forward, using them for momentum so that when she jumped, she would clear the full body of the Elder Wolf, evading both of the strikes she was attempting. Blood was pouring from the stab-wound in her gut, and when she looked over at Alley, the girl seemed dazed--she had been hit again, this time by the zippy little s**t that she had missed. "You're one...sassy, ch--girl, Alley. I dig it." Mirai said with a grin. She would have said chick, but the woman might have thought she was calling her a baby chicken at that point, and the confusion was unnecessary. "Also, now that I know you've got some genetic mutations going on, I am pretty sure it's safe to say the pieces are falling together. You might as well fill me in on it after, neh?" Mirai asked, in the middle of battle. her gut was bleeding like crazy, and she had never felt more pain in her life. Not physically at least. She might as well laugh about it, right?

At that point, the Trap Master's tentacle came swooping in, trying to loop around Mirai and pull her backwards, but Mirai immediately ducked low and dove forward toward the Trap Master, avoiding the multiple tentacles and landing close to the octopus face. She smirked up at him for a moment before she dropped low and jumped, bringing her fist up with her in an uppercut that was aimed to crush the bastards balls in one strike. As soon as she had landed back on her feet she would pivot on her hind heel and bring her other leg swinging violently up and toward the side of the thing's head. Dammit she was going to see that jelly head jiggle before the end of this fight.

Turn 3

Alley's Attack: 47 - 45 = 2 (100 - 2 = 98% Defense Chance)

The Light Racer was actually beginning to somehow enjoy itself. It stayed so reclusive most of the time--not wanting to go out to these outlandish sacrifice raves, or really do much of anything at all. It liked to read...to stay home by itself and just keep away from others. But being social had turned into a right ol' kerfuffle. Surprisingly, the Light Racer was finding it...fun. The exhilaration of battle--the feeling of fist on bone--knocking the sense out of the woman he was attacking...it was just...such a rush! It felt, as it swung down at Alley, the reverberation of its fist striking solid skull, and the woman's reaction was perfect--the surprise on her face when he hit her from a blind spot--the rattled mind. It had figured she would be stunned by the surprise attack, but when it ripped in for a second blow, she had been ready for it and Alley jumped into the air, easily clearing the attack, but landing sloppily. So...she was at least a little dazed.

The Light Racer saw her steady herself, and it got prepared--waiting for her to dash forward toward her and swing a vicious attack toward its face. The light racer, however, knew its speed very well, and as she attacked, it was able to view her in almost slow motion as it moved to the side so fast that it seemed like it had just vanished completely. The Light Racer, however, appeared very quickly back to the opposite side it had dodged from, having gone full circle around the woman before it unleashed a savage punch toward her ribs. It would then seem to vanish once more, and then it would be behind her, blasting in toward her spine, and unleashing a second smashing blow towards the center of her back. It was going to cripple her.

Turn 4

As the Elder Wolf felt the impact of her first charge, she could feel the slow sinking of her horns into the woman's abdomen. The smell of blood washed through the Elder Wolf's nostrils, and a shiver of sheer pleasure went through the beast's body. Truly, there was nothing better than to be able to suck the life force out of an enemy slowly, through draining them of their blood. The scent of it--the feel of the warm liquid oozing over her horns. It was what kept her coat shining brightly and her horns as hard as steel. Human blood did wonders for the body. But, as she charged forward a second time, in an attempt to stab through the woman's guts some more, Mirai grabbed her horns and vaulted over her body, avoiding the strikes. But she would not be able to do that for very long--not in the state that she was in. She would weaken from blood loss soon. All the Elder Wolf had to do was wait...heh...not likely. b***h IS GOING DOWNNNNNN!!!

As she whirled around, Mirai was already unleashing multiple attacks towards the Trap Master once again, and the enraged Elder Wolf wasted no time in charging forward once again. As the kick Mirai had attempted was launched, the Elder Wolf would be coming in fast, and she would aim her antlers at the back of Mirai's thigh this time. After thrusting them toward her legs, she would pull back and then launch forward, her jaws snapping viciously at Mirai's left arm. Immediately after her jaws clamped down, the Elder Wolf would then barrel forward, trying to knock Mirai on her a**, and bring her horns down into her gut or chest once again, in order to impale the woman. The bloodlust was full fledged now--there was no way that she was going to get out of the Elder Wolf's grips.

Turn 3

Mirai's Attack x2: 40 - 40 = 1 (100 - 1 = 99% Defense Chance)

As the Trap Master unleashed its tentacles towards Mirai, trying to pull her quickly out of her stance and throw her off balance, the woman was able to dodge out of the way deftly, even with the savage wound on her stomach. The woman dipped low beneath the tentacles and pushed forward into a low dive, that turned into a roll. Mirai sprung from the roll and aimed a massive punch toward the Trap Master's genitals. However, the Trap Master was not going to see something like this happen! As her fist came up toward its junk, the Trap Master immediately concentrated all of its efforts on the woman's hand and pushed the telekinetic energy that it controlled toward her hand, forcing it to stop in its tracks before it landed. Then, as she recovered and tried to strike the side of it's head, the Trap Master's tentacles shot out and wrapped around her foot, holding it in place. There was no way this girl was going to land a strike against it--the Trap Master would not allow such weak baiters to leave their mark. They deserved nothing more than to die a worm's death for ruining their party.

At that point the Trap Master shot a second tentacle down toward the leg that it had already snared--hoping to slash across Mirai's thigh so deeply that it would disable her movement. At the same time, the tentacle holding her leg let go and the Trap Master moved backward, away from Mirai for a moment, seeming to pause, and then with a thrust of its palms outward, it sent a massive wave of telekinetic energy that was aimed to hit Mirai like a brick wall and send her flying backwards into the trees, and hopefully a branch or two that just might end the little skeeze.

Light Racer: 45 - 25 = 20 - 100 = 80

A beauty outside,
a beast inside

Alley was feeling very irritated, watching as the speedy little thing that had hit her dodge her easily. If that didn't get under her skin. She couldn't land one hit on these things, what in this world was keeping from hitting the thing? Perhaps she wasn't as strong with the wolf DNA as she thought. Maybe she still had a lot of work to do. She was sure she was ready. Very sure. She always won fights at the lab, but then, these AIs might be a lot stronger than the ones she had fought. She needed to train more, that's what it came down to. She glanced at Mirai when she called out, almost feeling her blood go cold when she heard her say that she had genetic mutations. She didn't figure it all out. Maybe she could just spin a story that get her off the trail. Just what would be convincing enough? Her mother slept with a humanoid AI and she was the result? Was that even possible? Alley didn't read too much into AIs so she wasn't all too sure if AIs and humans could somehow cross-breed.

She couldn't match the speed of this thing, it seemed to disappear right in front of her. She couldn't follow it, feeling the pain before she could process that she had been hit. She felt her ribs almost give in to the blow. She gasped for air as it was pushed out of her forcefully, her lungs unable to take back the air it had suddenly lost. More by accident than design, she fell to the side, dodging the second blow the thing tried to throw at her. She coughed as she landed on all fours, unable to bring herself back on her feet. She twisted her body instead, still gasping as she swung her leg up in an arch, aiming for the thing's head. It was a pathetic attempt, but she wanted it away from her as she tried to regather her wits and breath.

Turn 4

Elder Wolf's Attack x3: 70 - 47 = 23 (100 - 23 = 77% Defense Chance)
Trap Master's Attack: 50 - 47 = 3 (100 - 3 = 97% Defense Chance)

Mirai was shocked, but as the Elder Wolf came toward her, even with her gut bleeding like a stuck pig, she managed to gather the strength together that she needed to avoid the attacks. Sure, the Trapmaster had managed to avoid the attacks that she had thrown toward it, easily brushing them aside like the enemies had been doing this entire time. Mirai wondered if there was any hope of them winning this at all...something told her it was doubtful, but she wanted to believe that was just her being negative. Then, she would look down at her stomach, and realize...hmm...maybe they were screwed after all. As the Elder Wolf came in once again, the horns slammed up toward Mirai's thigh, aiming to tear her leg open, but Mirai quickly continued her leg's forward momentum into a cartwheel and she rolled forward with it, away from the Elder Wolf. The snapping jaws closed behind her, just aside from her arm. Then, as the Elder Wolf tried to tackle her, once again, pushing forward and trying to stab Mirai with her horns, she stuck out her hand, gauging the distance between her and the creature barreling toward her, and when the Elder Wolf had gotten close enough, she pulled her arm back, keeping it out of biting range, as she turned and spun to the side.

Every moment was agony, as she moved. Her stomach was torn, and the blood loss would begin to effect her soon. She could not help but feel tired as she stood there--her head light as she tried to focus all she could on this battle. It had been one hell of a fight, sure, but...at the same time...it was hard to accept that this would be her first fight in the real world--a failure. She wondered if that was normal--something a lot of baiters went through, or if it was a badge of shame. She would know soon enough. It was at this point that the Trap Master was beginning to make his offensive move toward her, flailing his tentacles at her in an attempt to slash her, or throw her off balance, but she would not allow it, deftly shifting her weight from side to side, through his blows. It didn't take long before he snagged her by the leg, reefing her into the air. She crossed her arms as the monster attempted to launch her backwards with the telekinetic force. It hit her hard, but it only succeeded at throwing her backwards.

As she was spinning through the air, she could catch glimpses of the incoming trees, but as she approached she managed to snap her arm out and grab one of them by the trunk, reefing her body to a halt suddenly, and having her abdomen absolutely scream at her as she bumped against the tree trunk. She let herself drop the few feet down to the ground below, and she breathed deeply as she held her stomach--she needed this battle to end...one way or another. But she had made herself a promise, before. She was not leaving this fight without seeing that tentacle douche's head wobble like a jello plate in turbulence. She launched herself forward, pushing against the pain, and when she got close enough, she left the ground in a hop--gaining some height before thrusting both of her legs out in a full on drop-kick toward the Trap Master's chest. She would catch herself with her arms behind her, but when she tried to correct the fall with a breakdance maneuver, this time, her gut screamed so loudly at her that her arms gave way completely, sending her falling back on her a** completely, hitting the dirt hard. She recovered--getting back to her feet slowly, before she threw a lazy hook toward the b*****d's face. It was likely going to miss...but at least she was putting forth an effort.

Turn 4

Alley's Attack: 47 - 45 = 2 (100 - 2 = 98% Defense Chance)

The Light Racer felt the impact once again as it slammed its fist into the woman's ribs--feeling them snap beneath the brutal strike. It would wear these humans down slowly but surely. It was actually quite incredible to feel so much...stronger than someone for once. The Light Racer had been teased and bullied for so long that it had truly begun thinking that it was useless. But here--in the fight against humanity--the Light Racer was a god damn boss. He watched as Alley stumbled back from the blow, falling to the side which unwittingly saved her from the impact of the second blow. However, even as she fell over, the woman attempted at lashing upward with her foot, trying to strike the Light Racer in the side of the head. The Light Racer was not perturbed though, it merely danced around the kick, buzzing to the side before it came back to hover over her face.

"You guys aren't so bright, huh? You should probably just stay down and...I don't know...die?" The Light Racer said, shrugging its shoulders as if it had just said the most matter of fact thing it had ever heard. Then, without warning it lashed out from its position as it hung above her, slamming a fist down toward her face, the second coming down rapidly behind it in an attempt to punch her in the head yet again. This thing was going to put her out of her misery right now.

Turn 5

The Elder Wolf was getting pissed off. Her attacks, time and time again, were being pushed aside by this stupid b***h, and she wanted to kill something! Couldn't anything go RIGHT today? She huffed and puffed and stomped her hooves on the ground. She was getting tired, but she knew that she still had enough in her to go effing crazy. She was about to WRECK THIS HOE. There was no way that she was going to have any of this. The Light Racer was going alright with the stupid fake she-wolf skank trying to steal her men, but that didn't matter. She couldn't think about that. She had to focus. She had to KIIIIIILLLL. Her horns still dripped with the blood of the woman from before--it was sliding down the protrusions from the Elder Wolf's skull, and she decided...wouldn't it be nice to let Mirai experience what having horns was like, too!?

It happened suddenly. The Elder Wolf bounded forward with staggering speeds. It lowered its head and it charged with everything it had. Then, as it was about to hit the enemy, the Elder Wolf hopped into the air and continued its lowered posture so that the horns were directed right towards Mirai's skull. She wanted to plant those suckers right into Mirai's head. Then they could BOTH have antlers. And the Elder Wolf could have brains for dessert! Woo! She immediately pushed forward when she landed on the ground, thrashing her horns up toward Mirai's face multiple times in hopes of popping her melon.

Turn 5

Mirai's Attack x2: 40 - 40 = 1 (100 - 1 = 99% Defense Chance) (-15% From Stamina = 84% Chance)

As Mirai was able to move her way around the Trap Master's attacks, once again, it was stunned. He watched, as he blew her backwards toward the trees--as the woman went flying. But, she managed to catch herself on one of the branches, turning the maneuver into her own benefit as she swung around the tree, harmlessly coming to a stop as she bumped against the trunk. Little did the Trap Master know that even the slightest bump, like that one, had sent waves of agony through her body. As she came down from the tree, she rushed forward toward the Trap Master, and as the woman dove toward it, aiming a savage drop-kick at it, it merely looked at her, confused, before slowly stepping to the side, ending her rushing strike in a kick through the air that followed by her attempting to do some sort of trick maneuver to catch herself. This time, though, she could not fight the pain in her gut, and she ended up collapsing to the ground. When she got up, she tried to lazily punch the damn Trap Master, but no, the Trap Master caught her hand mid-swing and glared at her before it immediately pushed her away from it.

"You're used up, girl. You don't have anything left. Just...give up." He snapped--annoyed at her persistence. These girls couldn't fight on their level...not at all. Why had they even bothered to come? The trap master attempted to launch a tentacle toward the woman's eye, hoping to skewer her stupid face. Then, another came down as well, which would take her head. It could only hope to get this over with. It was getting tiresome, and the Trap Master was bored--its libido was gone, and it just wanted to eat some junk and go to bed. To hell with trying so hard to get action. This had been enough for one night.
