Gilda did not approve of collars either and approved even less of her worth. But it wasn't like there was anyone to argue with that she wasn't worth half as much as it said she was. So she mutely dealt with it, and decided to do what she could to change things.

Before she could fully re-enter the Casino, however, she was once again stopped by two attendants. This time, there was no offer of drinks or coins.
Instead, they discussed the older woman, obviously not giving a crap that she could hear them.
"She's still kind of young."
"Yeah, but she's fat."
Her cheeks lit up at this, but thankfully for her own sake, she was too terrified to be furious.
"At least she's got all her limbs."
"Got hair too. Dunno if it's real, but it's there."
This continued on for several minutes. Finally, after what felt like forever, the two tallied up their reasons into a point system, then typed the point amount - 115 - into an electronic collar, which was promptly shoved and locked around Lola's neck.
"You probably shouldn't try to escape with that on. Or try to take it off."
"I mean, you could, but it would be bad for you. Funny for us, bad for you."
They laughed as they walked away, leaving Lola to numbly reach up and feel around the new accessory she'd just been given.

Corey was only vaguely aware that there were people around her. She was pale and unmoving, her gaze distant and disturbed, as though what she had just seen had shaken her to the deepest depths of herself. In truth, she only became aware that she was being assessed as someone spoke her number out loud, which earned a very confused, very angry, and very sudden: "What?"

Rasputin rubbed his wrists, looking at the casino workers who had turned him free in a way that was wild and frankly dangerous.
Maria stood silently as two assistants moved around her. As one asked questions the other seemed keen to poke and prod, as well as dig through her current items. She tried to not snap back in irritation as they clucked about, and lifted her chin when they placed the collar on her neck.
"155, you are a good one aren't ya?"
One asked with a smirk, before sweeping an arm out to allow Maria out to the casino floor.

Tyler grumbled as he was manhandled by two attendants as they fixed a collar around his neck. He couldn't see it but it was the first thing that he did when they him go. He found the closest reflective surface to find out what it read. "Eighty?" He whispered to himself. Jerking his head around, he looked at everyone else. Other people from other factions, other Downtowners... fixed with similar collars. "Damn it..."
On the bright side, he was on the cheaper end of people.

Before she could continue two women stopped her, checking her over, measuring, even peeking at her eyes. They had her lift up her arms as they patted her down even had her move her legs for a moment. After they were done they walked over and chatted holding something like a collar in their hands as another tapped away on a laptop, adjusting it before bringing it back over to Harper.
They looped it around her neck, the sound of it clicking together as the led light blinked for a moment and then displayed a number. They told her it was her worth, it was the value she had to make if she wanted out and until she brought the coin the collar would remain.
There was no escape.

Kelly played with the collar on her neck, frustrated at the evaluation she went through. The man was keen to ask difficult questions, and the woman was none too gentle going through her particulars. As she stomped away from the evaluation room and into the casino, she tried to not break down and sob as the place looked darker than she ever imagined.

As she was led out, Ellie couldn't help but see the irony of buying themselves at a Casino...
Once she passed those final doors she was greeted with the same Casino. However, it looked a great deal more ominous now then it had before... Guards watched the doors like hawks, what seemed like good fun was now a race for life... It was all just... Crazy... She never would have imagined that what she had to be most cautious of wasn't the Undying or Infected... But other Humans...
Of course... Considering she was a fan of the Brothers Grimm, she shouldn't be surprised...
Standing near the entrance was a man with a electronic collar. Quickly, he looks her up and down before checking her bag. Frowning, Ellie watches as he puts some numbers into the collar and clips it around her neck as if she were a cow for sale... "Now go have fun!" he sneers before shoving her out into the room!

Before she could step back out into the casino, another attendant walked up with a clipboard and a bundle of... something? All they really asked her was her age before they frisked her. "She wasn't all that heavy when I picked her up," said her escort. The new attendant made some note and went through the bundle for something, handing it to the other before continuing to take notes.
She eyed the thing, it was a collar. Ugh. What was that on the tag? A number. 135.
"It's your price tag," the escort offered, as he locked it around her neck. "So other people know how much to pay if they want to buy you." Nnngh. That wasn't creepy at allllll. a*****e.
