TURN 4 Reaper Crab Attack x1: 12-10=2 (100-2= 98% Defense Chance) ((6 Attacks)) __________________________________ The sound of another beings laughter in her mind unnerved Corrinne. What was this new sensation? She kept her mind focused on the fight as she talked with the other intelligence, "I'm afraid that's not an option." Corrinne answered it plainly. Somehow her constant barrage of attacks managed to catch the AI Core off guard; yet again he deflected her blows with its hard shell of a body. Then suddenly one of the spikes on its back broke off, sending the crab into a frenzy, blocking another attack, then missing the next to its face. Corrinne grew excited by the possibility of winning this fight. Her victory was short lived as the reaper crab returned with a vengeance. Darting into the air, trying to crush her beneath it.
Corrinne quickly spun her staff around to make it vertical to the crab’s body, hoping to pierce it or at least injure it before it fell. Moving out of the way, she continued to bombard it with attacks from the staff, since it had worked to her advantage the first time. She was beginning to like this form of attack, it felt more natural, and she didn't have to worry about where her attack would land next. It came to her intuitively. Corrinne quickly made a mental note to learn as much about the Bo Staff as she could ... if she had the chance.

Turn 4 15-12 = 3 (100-3 = 97%) x3 MISSEDThe Elder Wolf had been able to easily lift the human woman up and had quickly charged ahead. Normally this maneuver would strike without an issue. Somehow this woman was able to move so quickly and easily. She did not move like a human who was in testing to become a B.A.I.T.R., could it be that her dream world was allowing her to be like the many humans that had years of training. Or it had to be that suit. That odd suit she was wearing had to be helping her move around so swiftly. The clash of the blades and the horns rattled the Elder Wolf's head ever so slightly, the sensation was not unfamiliar but had been a while since the A.I. had felt that. It would have been a lot easier to ignore if the vibration had been a hit on the woman. Still not frustrated and more focused than anything the Wolf took a step back to watch as the woman moved away not really accepting gravity as every other object living or not did. The Wolf looked her in the eyes not being intimidated by the predatory gaze and instead gave on right back. The smile the young woman had across her face gave the charge away and the Elder Wolf simply ducked down and dodged around the desk as the attacks came from all angles. There seemed no rhyme or reason to the attacks, more so looked like a show than a well executed pounce. The Elder Wolf would be patient, it had not struck yet, but neither had it's prey. As the woman landed away the Wolf let out a low growl, not one to intimidate or to show the lack of frustration, but as pure instinct from the eye to eye contact once more. Seeing the woman on her feet frozen in their gaze the Wolf charge with a insane speed that it had yet to show and was in her face in moments its large maw attempting to snap down on her face and shake and violently as it could. The gazes were a challenge and the Elder Wolf would not back down. Turn 4Corrinne's Attack x6: 15 - 10 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance) The Reaper Crab had been truly made a fool of when it had been struck by the woman like it had been. Both of them were in prime fighting form--naturally this meant that the crab should have been the one taking the lead in this fight. However, it was left with an intensely sore back from the spike being blasted off and the side of its face felt like something had been shattered. This was most certainly an issue. The Reaper Crab was in a frenzy, however, and it was intent on absolutely destroying this woman. It could hear her voice in its head, stating that her death was not an option and the being smirked inwardly. "It is always an option." At this point it was in the air, flying toward her and slamming down upon her. However, as a defence, the woman put her staff vertically in an attempt to cause the Reaper to fall down upon it and impale itself. It could not allow such a thing, and even in its blind frenzy, it was aware of that. It rocketed its arms down at the rod instead of the woman and cracked it to the side so it could not impale itself upon it when it landed. But as soon as it had landed the woman was striking out at it again. The torrent of attacks was a little more than annoying, but the crab was starting to get used to them as they came and went, flowing like water. With each attack that struck towards it the crab moved its body only slightly in a way that would cause the attacks to slide off of the angled armour that it was made of. As soon as the attacks had ceased the crab breathed a sigh of relief. At least it had escaped the wrath of that damnable staff this time. Perhaps this woman had grown lax after landing those strikes. As it regained its composure the crab rushed in once again, blasting toward the woman with a vengeance and bringing its arms down in a clobbering motion once more, trying to crash down on her shoulders to perhaps dislocate one of her arms or rip them right off...whatever worked.Quote: Reaper CrabB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 70/160 Skill: 5 Strength: 12 Defence: 10 Tactical Advantage: Sadist: You revel in the pain of others, A.I. or human alike. TURN 5 Reaper Crab Attack x1: 98% - 15% = ((83% Defense Chance)) (6 Attacks) __________________________________ Corrinne could feel her strength subsiding from her constant attacking. As the crab dodged and leapt about Corrinne realized that this strategy wasn't going anywhere, except to make her tired. Although it seemed to be having a similar affect on the crab as he returned fire with a similar move to what he had did before. Quickly evading it, Corrinne decided that the two were very equally matched. Both were relying on their strength and speed, rather than a special skill or a strange mutation on the Core's side. She couldn't decide if this was a good thing or a bad thing, as this meant that, either the two fight it out till one of them became too tired to go on, or find a plan of attack that the crab couldn't counter. Racking her brain for the answer, she kept her guard up as the two watched each other closely. Even if she did think up the answer, would it see it in her mind, she was very aware of the others presence now, so what would be the point of coming up with an answer if it was going to know it anyway. This logic really bothered Corrinne, it wasn't productive and made her wonder if others thought this way, as if there were another voice inside of them, constantly questioning their motives, it would become beyond tiring.
She could ask it to give up again but she knew what its answer would be. They both seemed to be rather feisty and stubborn, Corrinne liked that. Continuing to process plans of attack in her mind, her eyes darted around the scenery and back at the reaper crab. There wasn't much in sight that could be used as a weapon; the area she had unknowingly chosen was barren and stark. Nothing but the sound of waves, wind blasting past her, the smell of salty sea air, and the lush landscape. Breathing in deeply, she decided to try something new, even if it might get her killed.
Running directly at the Core, she knew it would do the same from previous interaction. But this time, she put the Bo staff to her side as she leapt onto the crabs back, holding onto the spikes. Her knee budged against the broken spike as she saddled her legs on the smooth surface of its shell. Pulling herself close to it, she knew the reaper crabs arms could only swing up and down, it wouldn't be able to pull her off its back. Corrinne also knew it would try to throw her off but she clung to it and chuckled as she pulled the staff out again. "Let's see how you do with a monkey on your back." She began to clobber it again with the iron staff, trying to break it apart.

Raindrops are my tears, wind is my breath and my story, branches and leaves are my hands, because my body is wrapped in roots. When comes the season of a thaw,
"Tch!" the classroom gave her too many memories. They were a distraction and so where the lingering emotions she had for a life she cast away. Yes, she was able to learn what she was protecting. But that was all she needed to know. Quantis planted her feet deep into the concrete ground; electric sparks flew from her heels as they clung into the metallic skeleton of the floors underneath the concrete. She caught the maw with her blades. The force behind the charge was withstood by the femme, gritting her teeth as she did. A vicious glare with an accompanying savage smile formed at her lips. This time she didn't stopped it and let the need for carnage to flow. Quantis intentionally herself be pushed back, giving the Elder Wolf a momentary gain but letting its body push further that an opening was made. Quantis was quick to bend her back and misdirect the hungry jaws away from her face.
She pushed herself off the ground into a backflip kick aimed to jam her foot on the jaws of the beastly A.I. The kick had the full power of her suit behind it; it might break the jaws or just stun the beast. However, it also helped create a distance between them again. By the time Quantis landed on the floor, she sliced a desk off from the floor with accurately and kicked up in the air. The femme spun, her leg lashed as it sent the giant desk towards the Elder Wolf. She had took the chance as her body was obscured by the desk and jumped to the ceiling before rebounding towards the beast with her blade poise before her to strike fast and deep.

Turn 5Marthun's Attack x2: 10 - 5 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance) (-15% From Stamina = 80% Defence Chance) The spry human male was able to avoid the two attacks the Harbinger had previously thrown with ease. The man was quick like lightning, and his body bent like rubber. It was something out of some sort of comic book how talented the man was in combat. The Harbinger knew instantly that it was perfect. This man. He was perfect. He would be the man that the Harbinger could use to go places--to go far in the world. The Harbinger could lend him his power, and in turn, the man would kill for him, and it would let him do some killing as well. The Harbinger felt glee from this--pure and total glee. It knew that even if it lost this battle, it was going to be able to go on living and killing for a long time--and if he won the battle...well...clearly this man just wasn't good enough. As the man pulled his head back and threw it forward with great force, the Harbinger's clawed hand came up and caught him by the face. The only thing that protected Marthun from taking damage from the clawed hand was the mask that surrounded his face. Without it, the metal surely would have bit into his skin. But after he had released the man's face and tossed him to the side, he caught himself easily and then went for part of the environment to use to his advantage. He picked up a massive piece of wood and the Harbinger was actually impressed with the strength that it knew would take to lift such a thing. As the man picked it up and hurled it towards the A.I., it brought its sword down in a vicious swing, cleaving the beam in half and letting it fall to either side of him harmlessly. "We will see which is better." The rusted voice echoed out as it charged forward toward the man, bringing the sword back and swinging it once again, however as the sword passed by its first stroke, it came back once again, his waist turning like a top instead of a regular body, and coming full circle in a 360 degree turn so that the sword's slash would strike twice in very rapid succession.Quote: HarbingerB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 140/140 Skill: 10 Strength: 13 Defense: 5 Tactical Advantage: Sadist: You revel in the pain of others, A.I. or human alike. Turn 5Corrinne's Attack x6: 15 - 10 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance) (-15% From Stamina = 80% Defence Chance) The Reaper Crab watched as the woman easily evaded the attack once again, and the frustration grew within it as the battle continued to drag on and it felt its limbs getting more and more tired. The legs were not used to this level of strain, and it was becoming an issue. If the fight continued on like this, both of the combatants were guaranteed to get more and more tired, until one of them made a fatal error. The crab had already been bashed in a couple of times by the woman, and it could not afford to take another strike like that. It watched as the woman seemed to stand there pensively for a few moments, before it managed to catch her muscles twitch and foresaw her movements. It knew she was going to charge at it, and it prepared for that to happen, getting ready to counter it. However, the crab didn't think that the woman was silly enough to actually jump onto its back. Did she think that it was completely defenseless? That it wouldn't have thought of countermeasures for such things? What a silly girl she was. As she hopped onto its back, it felt her knee nudge against the broken spike and it hissed in annoyance and pain as it began to thrash about. Her staff fell upon it over and over again, but each time it would bounce off of its shell. The crab kept rocking its body back and forward to throw her off balance and make sure that her attacks were less effective and could not hit at full strength. This way, they easily bounced off of the hard shell of the crab instead of doing any lasting damage, though it could not bet on that keeping her from it forever. The woman was going to crack it soon, it knew. After her attacks ceased, the crab wondered how it could get her off of it...but then it realized in a moment of brilliance that it didn't need to get her off of it. It wanted her to stay on! The crab chuckled slightly, in its odd tone, before it launched itself into the air with a jump and immediately turned upside down, crashing down to the earth below and hoping to crush the girl between it and the dirt underneath.Quote: Reaper CrabB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 70/160 Skill: 5 Strength: 12 Defence: 10 Tactical Advantage: Sadist: You revel in the pain of others, A.I. or human alike. â–ŒMarthun If we could all just learn to speak to just one other person, â–ŒGartun I'm sure we would find that the world would become much smaller.
Turn 05 100 - (-7) = 99% - 15% = 84% 13x5=65 20x3=60 80% of 65 is 52 FAILED x 2 65 - 52 (no greater than 80% can be negated) = 13 x 2 = 26 Damage
The attacks had once again done nothing to harm his opponent and there was no way he could do anything to fight this creature apparently. Maybe Marthun just wasn't cut out for this baiter thing. The Harbinger had sliced through the flying beam and was upon Marthun at a blinding speed even for the machine. Unfortunately Marthun didn't have time to dodge any of the strikes and was pushed back with two large gashes across his chest and he slid to a stop and locked eyes onto the Harbinger with a blank expression.
"Oh my....that almost hurt." he said with a stark monotone. The wounds on his chest snapped him back from his stoic sadism and his crazed melancholy. He cracked his knuckles with a sickenlngly loud popping and then cracked his neck, the chest injuries seeming to not phase the man one bit, why would they? They were of course inside a simulation in his mind right? If he died here his brain would die but if he got cut up it wasn't like he was bleeding back in reality. This whole simulation thing had a skeevy air to it, he secretly wondered what kinds of things the scientists did when nobody else was around. He laughed silently to himself.
His attention returned to the Harbinger and he crouched down into a sprinting stance before springing himself forward like a jack rabbit with the carnivorous fervor of a hungry wolf. Marthun he sprung up and launched forward a rocketed punch straight at the face of the Harbinger and swung his second attack upward to try and kick the chin of the Harbinger with his foot. If he was going to die because of fatigue he might as well go down swinging as hard as he could.

Turn 6Marthun's Attack x2: 10 - 5 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance) (-15% From Stamina = 80% Defence Chance)FAILED! 50 - 15 = 35 Damage The Harbinger seemed to grin as the sword slashed through the man's chest, and it saw the spatter of blood across the blade of its sword. Finally! Finally the scent of blood was scattering across the field of battle. When the waist of the A.I. Core suddenly whipped around in a full circle, not stopping like a normal body would do, the man was obviously caught off guard because the slash came down and through the man's chest once again, leaving two gashes across his skin. Even though he had managed to do this damage to the man, he seemed almost completely unphased by it, and the simple lack of care about the damage to his body made the Harbinger almost worry. However, he knew that he needed to keep his head, and that these two strikes would not even close to win him the battle. He would need more, many more, hits to land before he could call it a victory. But, as fast as the Harbinger had landed his strikes, the man was flying back with a savage punch. But as he threw the beastly attack the Harbinger's clawed hand flew in a right hook, punching the side of the man's arm to send his attack off course and harmlessly to the side. As the next attack came, however, he was unprepared for it. The kick came rocketing upward and struck him beneath the spikes, just far enough in between the spikes and the neck that the man wouldn't hurt his foot, but it jarred the Harbinger's head badly, and it felt the joints in its neck crack as the foot slammed into the Harbinger's jawline. It almost laughed, however, when the attack landed. This man was good. They were keeping up, blow for blow.
The Harbinger readied itself as it stepped back from the attack it had received, and it shook off the stunned feeling it had left. It was time to strike this man down for good. It needed to keep on cutting him until he could no longer stand. Eventually his body would fail him, and he would collapse. The Harbinger ran forward, opening the charge with a shot from the crossbow, aiming for the center of the man's chest. If he moved to dodge, sure the arrow might not actually hit the center of his chest, but it was worth a try. As the Harbinger ran, it pulled the sword back once again, but as it neared the man, instead of swinging the sword, it hopped into the air ever so slightly and switched hands, pulling the clawed hand back quickly to fake the man out and swinging it down with full force, attempting to claw out the man's throat if it could manage it.Quote: HarbingerB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 105/140 Skill: 10 Strength: 13 [18]Defense: 5 Tactical Advantage: Sadist: You revel in the pain of others, A.I. or human alike. â–ŒMarthun If we could all just learn to speak to just one other person, â–ŒGartun I'm sure we would find that the world would become much smaller.
Turn 06 84% chance to dodge 1 Failed roll: 30 damage taken
The machine had gotten the better of him despite Marthun having been able to get a hit in, it was starting to look like the machine might just win. Figures that man would be weaker than the machine. The arrow that flew from the crossbow flew true to its course and Marthun could only move to the left enough for it to hit the non vital area of his upper right chest which knocked him off balance a little bit. He saw the second attack coming and as the blade was coming down he glared at the machine as it switched to reach out with the claw and instead of blocking he grabbed the claw and switched sides with the Machine. Arrow sticking out of his chest he looked down at it with an unamused look. He pushed it the rest of the way through and tore some cloth off of his jacket and packed it into the wound. Not that bleeding really mattered in a simulation it wasn't good to strain the mind with off kilter concepts like mental death.
Marthun cast the arrow down and charged forward at the Harbinger launching a kick straight to the front of its head and was prepared to follow up with hay maker to the side of the head. He didn't care about the damage or any of those perils of being human things. If he won he was going to liberate the vatican one day, if he lost he was just another human casuality, no big deal. So he continued, he fought on with no ill will either way, it was a demonic machine versus a man who no longer cared, everything he had was already destroyed or gone and he didn't plan to make any new friends any time soon. The world was crumbling and the only thing humanity could do to stop it is wipe out all life and let the planet restart on its own time.

Corrinne clung to the reaper crab till it turned upsidown, "Bwa!?" She crawled around its body, kneeling on its stomach, holding onto its claws. "Jeezus!" She yelped as the crab hit the ground.
Being this close to the crab made Corrinne jumpy, "Woah boy," she uttered looking around at its many legs. She began to jab her staff into its sides a few times, looking for some way to hurt it before leaping off to gain a better defensive position. "Okay, that probably wasn't the best decision, Corrinne." She spoke to herself, "But no harm, no fowl." Soon she was at it again, slashing her staff left and right at it.

Turn 6Corrinne's Attack x6: 15 - 10 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance) (-15% From Stamina = 80% Defence Chance) The Reaper Crab was certain it would have enough time to launch itself into the air, turn and come down on the woman, but somehow it was as if her body was completely in tune with its own. She scurried around the other side of it, and as the crab landed into the ground, shaking the Scotland hill they were fighting on, the woman was completely unharmed. She had managed to land on its stomach, and as the crabs legs flailed in an attempt to right itself and to fling her off of its body, she began to swing her staff down towards it. With one more mighty heave, however, the crab managed to flip its body around, hurling the woman off to the side and keeping her from landing any hits on its softer underbelly. This woman was not going to get the satisfaction of winning so easily. It was going to fight until the end, and that was only going to be when the Reaper was completely unable to move. As it finally got back to its feet, the woman started again, swinging her staff at it left and right, trying to batter the crab as best it could, but as her attacks swung in, the massive crab swung its body to bring the arms around and cracked into the staff, shrugging the blow off and redirecting it. When the blows had ceased, the Reaper Crab was ready once again, and this time, it was sure it was going to hit her. It HAD to. The Crab backed up ever so slightly, preparing itself to charge in, and it lowered its arms once again, dodging to the left and right to attempt to throw her off and allowing itself to be consumed by bloodlust as it flung the wickedly heavy claws upwards in another attempt to skewer the woman and throw her body into the air.Quote: Reaper CrabB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 70/160 Skill: 5 Strength: 12 Defence: 10 Tactical Advantage: Sadist: You revel in the pain of others, A.I. or human alike. TURN 7 Reaper Crab Attack x1: 98% - 15% = ((83% Defense Chance)) (6 Attacks) __________________________________ When the reaper crab rebounded the staff, it rattled Corrinne's arms to the point that she had to let go of the staff from jerking her arms. "Ow, ow, ow," She shook her hands to try to get them back to normal but the pain stung up her wrists and into her upper arms. "Heeeyyy," Corrinne pouted and looked up at the reaper crab angrily, she had already let him push her around earlier, after nearly escaping being crushed beneath him. And soon enough she knew he would be back at her again. She wondered and hoped this was all worth it. Because right now she was thinking about her room in her uncles apartment, her nice soft bed, then she realized she was technically asleep. But that didn't matter because her mind was jumping through hoops and dodging crab claws, the stress of the situation was finally beginning to weigh on her.
Running in the other direction as the reaper crab came for her, she moaned and rolled her eyes, "really, this again!?" The irritation in her voice rang out shrilly before leaping sideways to avoid the crabs attack. She watched it continue, then stop and turn around, snapping its claws and chattering contentiously. She wanted to fall over from exhaustion but she knew that wasn't an option.
Since she was never one to give up, she looked at the staff on the ground. Patting her hands together she rubbed them and began to jump in place, revving her body up for the next round of attacks. "You want some of this, do you want some of this?" She said punching her hand in the palm of her other hand repeatedly, then making punching movements in the air, she took deep breaths as she growled, "Oh yeah, I can do this." Shaking her body down, she picked up the staff in the process and spun it around a couple times to reintroduce herself to it. "Alright, we can do this." Corrinne said aloud again and began to realize she was trying to talk herself into the fight, to reassure herself, how sad was that, she sighed. "No, no, gotta keep my head in the game." She picked herself up and gripped the staff, taking a defensive pose before lashing out at the crab again. This time she stood her ground and attacked him, fighting arm to arm with his massive claws.

Turn 5 15-12 = 3 (100-3 = 97- 15 (stam) 82%) x3 MISSEDThe Elder Wolf was trying its best to get the woman in it's jaws wanting to take her out and down. She was fast as it had already previously thought but no way could she dodge it forever. This was a real test for them both. It was a matter of who would slip up sooner. Although the Elder Wolf was no where near winded, it could still feel the strain in it's muscles from all the power housing through the classroom. If only the human had done a field of some type it surely could have out run her! It felt the clang of the blades to the jaws to keep the bite from pressing down anywhere and its maw stung slightly from the sharp blades cutting some into the skin. It let out a low threatening growl as it continued to push and knew it would not strike her so jumped over her frame to stay out of the way from the blades and the kick that was aimed at it as the woman tried to use its own movement against it. Then the desk came flying towards it and the Elder Wolf sunk low to the ground letting the desk fly over head and saw the woman come flying right after. It did not have enough time to get out of the way completely and angled its large head to catch the blades in the antlers once more. The Elder Wolf was confident in it's moves and had no problem repeated them if needed. There was nothing to be fancy about, just had to do what it needed to so it could kill this pesky human. As it caught the blades it brought it's head down with all its might its powerful muscles rippling as it wanted to slam her into the ground and hard enough to knock the wind out of her and do some damage, anything to slow her down. Turn 7Marthun's Attack x2: 10 - 5 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance) (-15% From Stamina = 80% Defence Chance) The Harbinger watched as the arrow found its mark and punched through the man's chest, though off to the side and away from any sort of vital points. The Harbinger was distressed to know that the man was quick enough to redirect it from passing through his heart, but at the very leasy the A.I. had landed a solid blow on his opponent. However, as if it were nothing, the man grabbed the arrow and pushed it through the other side. He was smart enough, as well, not to pull it out the other way, or he would have ripped his flesh and broken bone before the barbs had allowed for such a thing to happen. The Harbinger chuckled under its breath as the man suddenly launched a kick up toward his head and as the leg came rocketing up toward the side of his face, the demon-like core swung its arm up and the claws closed around the man's leg, holding it there without letting it go. So, as the man attempted his second attack, his leg was still being held in the air, and the hay maker's power was lowered by tenfold. So, as the awkward punch came in toward its face the Harbinger swung its head toward the first, meeting it with the steel head and stopping the momentum with the headbutt. It seemed to laugh once again as it suddenly threw his leg to the side, attempting to use this maneuver to throw Marthun off balance before it shot another arrow at the man, aiming this time for his legs. He wanted to reduce Marthun's mobility if he could. As soon as the arrow was let loose towards Marthun's lower half, the Harbinger swung its sword arm high, aimed directly at the man's ribcage. Hopefully one of the vicious attacks would successfully land.Quote: HarbingerB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 105/140 Skill: 10 Strength: 13 [18]Defense: 5 Tactical Advantage: Sadist: You revel in the pain of others, A.I. or human alike.
