Rachel Caldwell Turn 5 15 - 30 = -15 (100 - 1 = 99%) - 15% (stamina rule) = 84% 4 MISSESRachel's spirits almost lifted as the gear soared through the air. It looked like it would connect. Maybe, just maybe, if it was injured the drone would run away and leave her alone. At the last moment though it flew off to the side, a small spark showing as the gear just scratched the robot's casing. Her heart then dropped as the A.I. became angry. While it had only appeared to be toying with her earlier the calm confidence was gone. As its eye began to glow angrily the monster suddenly charged her wildly. The sudden furosity of the drone's charge startled Rachel. Her pupils shrank as she let out another shriek. Just before it was upon her Rachel's body reacted on instinct alone. As it reached for her flowing black hair Rachel again dropped low an dove off to the side. With a grunt of pain as she slammed into the hard earth Rachel grimaced as her shoulder ached from the impact. She quickly rolled over and got up to her knees in time to see the terrifying electrical attacks the booster drone had tried to throw at her. This thing wasn't playing around anymore. Though it was simply a red lense devoid of emotion Rachel still swore she could see the anger and murder deep in its gaze. Shivering from her fright Rachel again looked for anything to try to use to keep the mad drone away from herself. Spying more wreckage around her the raven haired girl snatched up the nearest flat object, a scrap of the hull that was surprisingly flat and had jagged edges, and again hurled it at her enemy. She had almost hit it before, and she hoped beyond hope this time she would. If she could hurt it, perhaps that red eye or one of its repulsors, it would be unable to attack her and would flee. Turn 715 - 10 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance) (-15% Due to Stamina = 80% Defence chance) It was easy, now, for the Vault Buster to see that this man had lost all pretence of his formerly calm self. He had turned into a raging machine, and there was nothing left to bring him back to his sanity. The world around them began to reflect his inner turmoil as the buildings became shambles, and they began to burn. This place was a place of horrible memories for the man, as well as good, it would seem. The beast would take advantage of his problematic mindset, however. Someone who could not harness and control their rage in a useful manor was only a person with a weapon--not a true combatant. The Vault Buster, however, could not speak anything against the man, for he too had lost control during this fight. Hell, he had lost an arm to the man already. As Dal'Mori side-stepped the attack and immediately launched into the offensive, the Vault Buster was ready for it. Its senses were acute, and it managed to whirl around and swing the one massive arm to knock the spear aside. As the second attack came in, the A.I. jumped backwards and avoided it with a sloppy grace. Even as the man whirled in for the final blow, shooting the spear forward in a stabbing motion, the Vault Buster spun to the side and the blade brushed past it, nearly striking him, but being just ever so slightly off the mark. As soon as the side-step had been initiated the Vault Buster immediately jumped forward towards the man, trying to catch him off guard after having avoided what he had hoped to be the end of combat. As he approached, the beast forewent using its hands, so it could keep it free to defend. Its body turned quickly and the tail lashed out, slashing towards the man's face once again, attempting to knock him senseless.Quote: Vault BusterB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 5/140 Skill: 8 Strength: 10 Defense: 10 Tactical Advantage:Power house: Your blows are devastating, leaving foes shaken and weak. Dal'Mori Cestrol Menne
Turn 6 (10-8=2. 100-2=98% Chance)(-15% Due to Stamina = 83% Chance.)
Lightning began to flash with increasing frequency, as if attempting to go for a strobe like effect. Thunder was almost constantly growling in the background. The fires burned on, and the sizzling began to become even more noticeable. One would be able to notice, if they were looking, and could see beyond the smoky haze that started to cover everything, that it appeared to have started raining. Curiously enough, it had not started raining above the two combatants. It seemed, in fact, as though they were in the eye of the storm.
All of this was lost on Dal'Mori.
The originally calm man from the beginning of the fight was gone. An incredibly accurate term to describe the warrior actually. Gone. Lost in rage. Drowning in sorrow. Wallowing in self-depreciation. If he was able to be even remotely aware, it would be absurdly clear to him that he had an almost direct link to the state of things around him, being that it quite clearly was all representing what his thoughts were and where his mind had gone.
Instead, all he felt was that his surroundings were appropriate.
He would finish off this monster in the place of his greatest failure. He would end it's life upon the soil where everything else of his ended. While it would not be the revenge he wants so desperately, it would be close enough for his liking, now all he had to do was make it happen.
The attack came with an almost surprising grace. Were it not for the fact that this creature had displayed an ability to learn whilst in the midst of combat, directly from his combatant, Dal'Mori might have been impressed. However, this thing was constantly adapting throughout the whole fight, and Dal'Mori had come to expect it. Thus, when the monster threw in an attack at just right moment, he was prepared. His spear shaft shot around and pushed the attack aside, his body turning with the block.
It was then something strange happened. Something Dal'Mori had never experienced before in his life.
He slipped.
The attack was pushed aside, sure, but apparently not all the momentum was broken. Dal'Mori's foot didn't find the ground like it should have, and he fell to the ground.
He just shut down. Humiliated and angry, he roared with a new found fury. Primal instincts taking over, he lashed out with an attack before even thinking of rising to his feet. As he pulled the attack back, his body seemed to just take over. Scrambling back to his feet, he launched forward another sloppy attack, mostly to cover his own getting up, but if it landed all the better for him.
When he was back on his feet, he pushed himself forward and stabbed straight towards the beast, with every intent of raising it high above his head should the blow land. Through all of this his new facial expression did not change. He looked less human and more bestial as he gave in to the monster inside of himself, growling as well as any human can growl, hate and anger billowing like flames in his eyes.

Turn 815 - 10 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance) (-15% Due to Stamina = 80% Defence chance)FAILED! Dead The Vault Buster was prepared for the impact of its tail, the swing was aimed directly at the man's head, but instead of impacting it, the man was quick, and he used the spear to meet the tail and deflect it off to the side. However, when the deflection was made, the man's foot slipped and he dropped to the ground in the tumultuous battlefield. The Vault Buster gained satisfaction from the slip-up, but at the same time, it knew that the man was not going to be defeated. The Vault Buster had already lost too much blood. As the sloppy first attack came in, the Buster was ready for it, though its body was slower to react, slowly bleeding out. It stumbled backwards and as it fell, it realized how hilariously in sync the two of them were. Even though it had fallen, it still successfully avoided the attack, and then as the man cleaned up his act a little bit, the second attack came. This too, the Vault Buster was able to avoid with a lazy defence. It swung its arm upward and hit the spear, knocking it away once again. However, when the last strike came, the A.I. was so worn out by blood loss, that it could not react fast enough. The last attack struck in the center of the Vault Buster's chest, and as it was pushed into its body, the man reefed upwards, digging the spear all the way through its body. The Vault Buster collapsed, the spear unable to support its weight without tearing through its body, and it fell to the ground, the spear sticking up out of its back. As the body hit the ground the Vault Buster seemed to whimper, its half-cut off arm wiggling in the mud for a moment before the body started to disappear--breaking down into the bright blue letters and numbers, until there was nothing left but a swirling mass of code. The Buster's code swirled around Dal'Mori's body until suddenly it rushed into the magnetic weapon hold that he had on his body, and as soon as it sank into the Code Core, the core would react and change in relation to the physical appearance of the Code Core inside. When the Code Core had absorbed the A.I. completely, Dal'Mori would re-awaken in the lab once more.Quote: Vault BusterB.A.I.T.R Standing: 14 Health: 0/140 Skill: 8 Strength: 10 Defense: 10 Tactical Advantage:Power house: Your blows are devastating, leaving foes shaken and weak. Turn 8 10-15= 1 (100-1= 99 -5%= 94 - 15 (stam rule)= 79% to dodge) FAILED x1 50- 40 = 10(defense can only block 80%) The Royal Guard could tell he was getting to the woman, and she was getting angry, but it was not making her sloppy, it was fueling the fire she had deep down inside of her. It could tell that she had not liked the noise it had made or even calling her a pest again. But she had stuck him, and that was two too many for it's liking. It had landed a hit on her but she had brushed it off so easily as if that was nothing to her. She had gashes in her arm! How could she not be bothered by it? As the Royal Guard had reached for her throat and watched her simply back away it scowled at her the best way that it knew how, “You will not be able to defeat me little girl. I will break you to pieces and take over your mind, you have no choice. You will be mine!” It shouted at her as she used her sword to keep its hand from grabbing at her once more. The first swing came towards its throat so the Royal Guard used its heavy arm to bat the sword away and did not back up as she advanced not wanting to give her any advantage. Then she tried for it again and the Royal Guard chuckled deeply at her, “Tired of me talking little one?” It teased her even more no. She was not unskilled, but she did not seem much more than that. How did this woman expect to be able to fight in the real world if it was taking her so long to take it out? Then the third strike came and it was true. Once more the blade sunk deep into the armor cutting cords and sparks flew, out of pure reaction the Guard's knee dropped the ground and it let out a pained cry. It did not bother curseing at her. Instead the Royal Guard went right for tacking her in a bull rush, it's weight was enough to hurt her just by slamming into her. Dal'Mori Cestrol Menne
He felt it happen before his mind even registered that it had happened. The slack of it's body, the sudden dead weight on his weapon. It came so suddenly, and without any fanfare he felt like the wind had been stolen from his sails. As he stared down at the dying corpse of his fallen foe, he realized that he felt no satisfaction. He felt nothing really. It caused a sneer to cross his face for a brief moment. Perhaps the reason he felt nothing was because this was only a substitute? Perhaps he would feel better when his blade tasted the flesh, or rather code, of the one who destroyed his whole life?
Either way, he was still left feeling devoid of something substantial. Like this fight had taken something from him. Rather, more accurately, he felt he didn't find something he was looking for. The worse part? He couldn't put his finger on it. He already knew he was without honest revenge, and even though there was a tiny smidgen of pride at being able to drop one of these monsters single handed, there was something else. A hole if you will. And he had no idea what the cause of it was.
That is.. Until the first rain drop hit his forehead.
With an almost crystal clarity he realized what was wrong. He realized why things had gotten so out of hand. He realized exactly what had pushed him so far into the haze of rage. He hadn't let himself properly grieve. He turned his gaze up towards the sky, his mind working in overdrive until he came to a conclusion he should have noticed well into the fight. This was an interpretation of his mind. The shattered remains of his home, the terrible storm raging over head.
This was all him.
The worst part? He couldn't bring himself to change it. He knew what was wrong, but he felt as though he didn't deserve to let it go. Let himself feel the pain gnawing away at his heart. Allow himself the freedom of crying the tears he so desperately needed to loose. So he stood there, unaware of the monster changing into code. Unaware of his magnet sheath changing color to match the grey, leather-esque skin tissue of the monster that once lay slain at his feet, nor the fact that the hooks changed to resemble the horns that once rested on it's head. Unaware of the ridiculous capabilities his body was now able to reach.
He hardly even noticed coming out of the simulation, and bringing himself back into the real world. The only thing going through his mind as he was led away, apparently the doctors taking pity on him still for his loss.
The only thing that went through his mind was what it felt like, standing there under the storm, feeling the rain slide down his face, as if allowing him to cry without once shedding a tear. It allowed him to slowly calm himself down. It allowed him to lock away the rage. It allowed him to bring himself back down to who he was at his core.
A calm, cool warrior.
Granted, one hell bent on genocide, but one all the same.
It allowed him to finally feel normal.

Turn 58-5 = 3 (100-3= 97 - 15 = 82%)MISSED The Battle Drone knew that attack had come much too close for it's liking, and that luck seemed to indeed favor this girl. The Drone did not like that it was fighting by itself but it knew it was not as ill eqipped as the girl it was fighting. If only it had not been in storage for so long! Then it could have killed this girl in an instant. Damn those vile humans for capturing it. It's processors had been so busy with processing the thoughts it was having that it had not been good enough to land a hit on the girl at all. None of it's attacks landed once more. It only had a short array of attacks to use, but it could easily mimic hers or ones it had seen in the battles the Drone had been in supporting its fellow A.I.'s. The girl did cry out in pain but none of it was enough to draw blood and instill true fear in her mind. The Drone hovered above watching the girl once more as she picked up a metal shard to hurl it once more. The Battle Drone however would not be taken down so easily! As the metal scrap came flying through the air, the girl had a good arm it seemed, the Drone calculated the physics and adjusted its pad correctly. It looked like for a moment that the make shift Frisbee was going to slam right into the Drone but instead the A.I. Caught it in its hands and let out a few taunting beeps in the way of chuckling. Quickly it touched the metal to its pads and charged it as it blasted towards her making the metal crackle with the electricity it had charged it. Once it was close enough the Drone tossed the hunk of metal right back her, aiming for the middle to hopefully compensate for her trying to move away. Not hesitating the Drone came at her shooting two more pulses at her chest wanting to stop her heart, and then it came in with its arms again going for her eyes. The girl needed to go down! Sarah Hartwell 13 - 15 = -2 = 1 (100 - 1 = 99%) - 15% (Stam rule) = 84%Turn 8۩…………………………………………………………………۩ Sarah ignored her gashes, though they hurt. But her trainer said there wasn't any point in worrying over a couple of scratches. The A.I. weren't going to stand around and wait for her to cry over her wounds. She was thankful she was able to be trained. Sure her family could have done everything possible to keep her from finding him, but they didn't. Sarah blinked at the Guard as it began to rant about killing her. She was slightly irritated that her swings to the throat didn't make its mark but that was quickly gone as her blade sunk into the wires in its leg. She turned her face away slightly when sparks began to spring out. She slide her blade out, watching as it cried out in pain and knelt down. She merely looked down her nose at it as she waited for it make its move. She didn't have to wait long, watching as it charged at her. She lunged to the side, avoiding the attack as she rolled back to her feet. She stood and waited for the Guard to come to a hault. " I'm tired of your babbling, only someone with fear talks about taking their enemy down when they know they will lose." She said, her voice much stronger than it would have been in the real world. But in her dreams, she wasn't afraid to speak up, even if it was a fight for her life. She then charged at the Guard, her first swing was toward the Guards arm again. Then she swung at the other leg. Perhaps she could cripple or something. Two hurt legs would be terrible to fight with. She then swung at it's throat once more, to make her point that it should just be quiet and fight her just like she was. ۩…………………………………………………………………۩Outfit: Clothes JacketLine Count: 682 OOC: Quote: B.A.I.T.R Standing: 20 Health: 180/200 Control Limit: 160 Skill: 15 Strength: 10 Defense: 15

Turn 9 10-15= 1 (100-1= 99 -5%= 94 - 15 (stam rule)= 79% to dodge) MISSED The Guard had charged in a blind rage at the young woman not wanting the attack to miss but of course she had merely stepped aside. How could someone so timid be so good at getting out of the way and handling being struck so easily? The Guard was getting frustrated with her and wanted her dead, and now. As it slowed its charge to keep from knocking into something the Royal Guard turned around and glared at her as her voice filled the room. The strength behind her words and the look of determination gave the Royal Guard some more respect for her. It took courage and strength as good signs, and made it know that it really was in a fight that would be worth it. As Sarah charged forward however the Guard knew it would not be struck this round, it would make her work for it. "Now I will have the honor of killing you, The meekness is not the way to be little one," It chided her as it caught her blade in its arm gauntlet again and threw the strike to the side. Even with the slightly damaged leg the Guard moved away from the other strikes with ease letting the blade go through nothing but the air. AS she had made her third strike however it clasped its fist together to make one large one and swung its hands down towards her back wanting her to stop being able to move so quickly. ------------ In the room the scientist looked over the young girl laying on the table. There was no tell tell signs of how the fight was going, but she was approaching the average time it took for the new recruits to finish their initiation. Beads of sweat covered the mans brow as he knew what he was about to was illegal as hell, but he needed the money. He was more than well compensated for his position but with large sums of money can come large sums of problems. He had a debt to pay to someone who had already started harnessing him in terrifying ways. His wife was catching on, and he did not want to loose her. With shaky hands he took out the syringe that held the black market booster, it would allow some of the experience Sarah already had to come to light while in the fight. It was not much, but the boost would be effective to make sure the fight was in her favor. The eldest son of the family had gotten in contact with the man, and he already had the heavy envelope sitting in his work locker which would make all of his problems go away, as long as he never voiced to anyone what happened here. Expertly, the man found the vein in Sarah's arm and inserted the bright green liquid inside of her. She would feel a small surge, but when she would she would know nothing of it since the needle was so small it hardly left a mark. Sighing in relief the man went about disposing the evidence and back to watching the monitors. Sarah Hartwell 13 - 20 = -7 = 1 (100 - 1 = 99%) - 15% (Stam rule) = 84%Turn 9۩…………………………………………………………………۩ Sarah didn't take the Guard's words to heart. She was meek, she knew that. Gaining her hearing made her nervous. When she everyone's mouths begin to move and could actually hear what came out of them, it was nerve wrecking since she never knew what those sounds actually meant. It was weird for her whole family as well when they tried to use words that they knew their whole lives for her but only find her giving them a confused look. But it wasn't hard to talk and sign at the same time so she could understand a little better. But the learning made her nervous. She didn't see anyone for months, outside her family. When she had been told she was small and there was no way she could win a fight against an A.I., she felt an anger that she had never once felt. And as her hits missed, she almost felt like that perhaps he was right. Sarah quickly ducked, feeling the air from the Guard's swing again. The air was what made this dream feel so real. It so odd to feel it as if it really was there. But she was sure it wasn't. Sarah took a couple of steps back, taking in a few deep breathes. She needed to calm down. Doubt was filling her mind. How could she win? Sure she trained, but she didn't have any muscles. None that gave her strength anyways, her muscles were built for speed. It was obvious since she was dodging the A.I.'s attacks so well. But she couldn't dodge forever. And her hits were barely doing anything to the Guard. If anything, it was probably like stabbing him with a knife instead of an actual sword. Soon, Sarah felt something strange. There was a p***k in her arm, like something bit it. Then she felt something inside her, something like an energy going through her. She felt stronger. She wasn't sure why, but suddenly she felt stronger. She gripped her sword, taking in a few deep breathes as she shifted her shoulders. It was odd. She never felt like this. But she couldn't just sit there and figure out what happened. She had a fight and the Guard wasn't going to sit around and wait for her to figure out what just happened to her. If anything, if it knew she was feeling stronger suddenly, he would just simply try to hit her again. She charged forward, raising her sword so she could swing at it's shoulder. She ducked down and quickly moved behind it, taking a swing at it's back. She took a swing at it's side before trying to get out of it's range. ۩…………………………………………………………………۩Outfit: Clothes JacketLine Count: 96 OOC: Quote: B.A.I.T.R Standing: 20 Health: 180/200 Control Limit: 160 Skill: 15 Strength: 20 Defense: 20

Rachel Caldwell 15 - 30 = -15 (100 - 1 = 99%) 99% - 15 (stamina rule) = 84% Rachel couldn't understand how she's gotten herself into this. She was no fighter, she had never been anything close to a fighter. This robot was designed to kill, and clearly she was what it had set its sights on now. Everything in her was screaming at her to run for the hills and hope it didn't follow. The black haired girl could not think of what it was that was keeping her here. What it was that was actually driving her to fight for her life against this death machine rather than flee in terror. With a newly kindled furry the booster drone flew towards her with death in its eye. Rachel was sure this time it would either get her or she would finally make her break for it. Nothing else seemed more important than getting out of there. "Rachel!" a small voice called out. Looking off to her right Rachel saw here the voice came from. Her little sister was crouching low, trying to hide in the tall grass and wild flowers. She was shaking in her boots as she cowered. Rachel then knew exactly why she was fighting. Like a mama bear Rachel suddenly moved like she didn't know she could. She bolted to the side, avoiding the incoming metal shard by centemeters and the booster drone that followed it. Snatching another rusty old gear as she ran Rachel threw it where the drone would be at the end of its charge. As she reaches her sister she then spun around to put herself directly between the girl and the drone. "Stay away from us you monster!" The girl's voice had more confidence than it had before. Though still not very forceful it lacked the shaking and terror it had exhibited earlier, and instead carried a sloghty confident undertone. Rachel's wish to run was gone. Her sister needed her to protect her. Now it was either do or die. Quote: B.A.I.T.R Standing: 20 Health: 140/140 Control Limit: 160 Skill: 5 [--] Strength: 8 [--] Defence: 30 [--] Lines: 510

Turn10 20-15 = 5 (100-5= 95 -5 (TA) =90 - 30 (stam) 60% FAILED x 1 100-45 = 55 damageThe Royal Guard was getting tired of the little woman and her jabs at it. They were weak, but she was fast, faster than it was. Sure it could take a hit, and a good one but enough hits from anything would be enough to slow it down and take it out. As it's large fist came crashing down towards her it hit nothing and the Guard had to move with the momentum to keep from falling forward on the floor. It stumbled slightly before straightening it'self so it stood there and stared at her. Her shoulders were strong it seemed as she was not shaking but the A.I. could tell there was something mentally going on with her. She was too focused. Something in the dream shifted and the Royal Guard was not sure what it was, but it did not feel like a shift as if she was scared. As the Guard watched her shoot forward all it could think was that she was moving much faster, and how could that be possible? It was sure the woman had been giving all her effort from the moment the started the fight, back when the music room had still been in pristine condition. Now it was a right mess. Wait. Why was thinking about the mess instead of that blade that was coming towards it? The Royal Guard stood as if dumbfounded as the blade struck, then sank deep into the A.I.'s shoulder almost completely taking it's arm off. The Guard let off a low painful yell that filled the room as the arm hung limp from it's casing with wires cut and sparking. The Royal Guard was quickly out of its stupor as the blade was pulled from its arm and it knew it could not let her land another hit. How had she become so powerful? So suddenly? The Guard moved as the next few strikes came raining down to make sure they did not hit and growled at the girl. No more nice Guard. As she stepped back and watched carefully the Guard charged her once more it's limp arm hanging useless but its right arm came towards her throat again to choke her out.
