Character Death
Drow life is very very dangerous. And, for a lot of drow, short. But that's ok, because there are always five new drow ready to take the place of any one deceased drow.
During the average life of a drow in the shop, they might be greeted by the ultimate failure. This will only happen in places planned beforehand by staff, you cannot die in a regular Underdark Adventure or Vs Adventure. We will always warn people in advance by marking the choice that will lead to this in red. The first choice to lead down the path to player death may not be marked in red, but the final choice, and last chance to turn back, will always be marked.
Why would anyone take that choice for their character?
- If their aspect points increased your character limit, you keep the raised limit until another character's aspect is higher.
The price you pay for breeding (amount of owned drow) is decreased.
Their wealth aspect and owned items are given to any house they were in at the time, allowing the house to redistribute them.
All accumulated exp they gained (not counting exp spent on growth, etc) now becomes the player's exp!
If that was your only character, you can create a new premade baby.
Player Exp
Player exp can be spent in the following ways:
5 exp = change one colour on a new baby drow (C choices only)
10 exp = change one colour on a new baby drow (U choices only)
15 exp = change one colour on a new baby drow (R choices only)
this includes any baby, gotten via breeding, event, sales, etc
1 exp = 1 exp to an owned living character
1 exp = 1 aspect point to an owned living character
Character death is not intended to be a easy way to kill a bunch of characters to 'powerlevel' another, or get a baby with rare features. If we see people 'throwing away' multiple characters via this, they will become ineligible for the player exp feature. You may only kill one character per opportunity.
