Chance, much to Otto's knowledge by now, just had a thing about playing with his hair - and Otto playing with his own. He didn't mind the silence, Chance staring up at the ceiling and tracing the lines that the stars made, idly wondering if he should rearrange the again into a new constellation. Otto's appraising look was met with a simple smile, Chance turning his head to look at him.
He grinned as Otto smacked his hand away, Chance resting them both back on the bed now.
"No," he said mildly. "I just like the way you look, plus I'm around you more than other people. But if you don't like it, I can stop."

Otto rolled his eyes. "I'm not gunna tell you to stop drawin' me. It's your sketchbook, you can do what you want." He didn't care one way or another. It was kind of flattering, really. He set the sketchbook aside and flopped backwards onto the bed. It had been a long day, and an even longer week or so. He'd have to take a walk around the buildings later on to get the full scope of the possible damage. "I'm napping." He announced in a grumble as he closed his eyes. No permission from Chance or anything.

Ian grinned, leaning back on his hands.
"Napping it is," he said lightly, and then, after a moment, he reached out and gently touched a hand to Otto's leg.
"Can I join you?"

"You can try." Otto murmured back in quiet sass, already quickly falling asleep. It was a super power Otto possessed in spades; falling asleep on command. In all honesty, he had just gotten back from two weeks away from the island. And base camp missions tended to be less than cushy. Sleeping on a bed was the easiest place to sleep in, and very, very welcome. Evidentially he was tired enough that he didn't bother slipping out of his shoes. What a jerk.

The sleepy sass made him smile. Chance eased himself back onto the bed beside him and reached for Otto without hesitation, sliding an arm around his waist. He knew how he felt about being clingy when it was too hot, but it was cool enough outside now that he hoped it would be okay. And besides, it had been two weeks since he'd seen Otto, and really he just wanted to cuddle with his boyfriend.
"I really did miss you," he murmured with a smile, and pressed a light kiss to Otto's cheek, burrowing down next to him, and he knew that Otto was pretty much asleep already; which was why he pressed his face into Otto's hair and said something along the lines of "and I really do love you" before leaning away and simply relaxing back onto the bed.
