Genevieve had sat under a tent for a while, picking at her food slowly, and looking about at the people mingling. So many faces she didn't know and her friends had texted her or come to find her - how...rude. Standing up with her empty plate and cup she went to deposit both into a nearby garbage can. As she did so a light breeze ruffled the bright salmon pink dress she wore, and sent her hair waving back and forth against her mostly bare back.
Brushing a few strands of long hair from her face she shook her head and dumped the empty plate and cup before pausing to really look around. She still couldn't see her friends. Sighing the dark haired girl was at least glad she'd thought about sunblock earlier or she'd be on her way to resembling a cooked lobster, with how pale her skin was and such. One golden sandal tapped at the sand as she ran her fingers through her bangs. Maybe it was time to try and get to know someone? But..who? Everyone seemed to be busy or occupied, at least as far as she could tell...and she didn't think it was polite to just jump into other peoples conversations so now what? She really did want to get into some conversation with someone - anyone!

With a bottle of cold water Alexandre had made his way to the tents and found a nice place, in the shade, to lay himself down. he really didn't much care for being social right now. He knew he needed to work on it, to get his head back on straight, but as he stretched out along the blanket he'd found under the tent he hissed in pain, his shirt riding up and showing not only the ink which decorated his skin but the nasty long scar he now hosted. A new decoration to adorn his fair flesh - how lovely.
Slender digits drifted down to run along the abused area. Lifting his shirt more, showing more of the tattoo work and the scar, the ashen blond didn't care much any more what people saw of him. He didn't care if people knew he was inked, his parents still didn't have a clue as to how much he'd done in the way of decorating himself, nor did he care if they knew he was scared the only issue there was how to explain it to those he was close to. Rolling his eyes behind his sunglasses he sighed heavily. Fingers deftly trailing up to just under the right peak of flesh and began their descent to where the scar ended, which was right above the left hip bone. He'd taken a hell of a cut and had been lucky to have not lost his life.
Snorting with laughter he sat himself up and uncapping his bottle managed to take a gulp of water before he found himself laughing softly. How many times had he nearly died now? He really should know it, right? Yet he was clueless about such an important thing, considering it concerned his own life. Recapping his bottle he flopped back down onto the beach towel and closed his eyes behind the sunglasses and shifted about as he got himself comfortable, fingers still moving over the abused flesh as he relaxed.
(Feel free to interact with Alexandre.)

Gwen sighed into her cup. "I didn't leve anyone behind and I've certainly not had time to really scope out with Destiny City has to offer since moving in." With another gulp of wine she adjusted her hat a bit to keep the shifting sun out of her eyes. Finding herself a man was something she hoped she could accomplish now that she was out of her father's house. He had always been so intimidating to any man she brought home she had given up hope. Now that she was away from his meddling Gwen had all intentions of finding herself a man. "I understand about life. It always seems to get in the way of things we want." She shrugged and nit picked at a bowl of pretzels before wiping her hand on her cover up to remove any lefter over salt and crumbs. "You should make sure to focus on yourself sometimes though. Otherwise you may regret it down the road." That was another reason she had moved to Destiny City. She needed to do something for herself. Not for her father and not for her brother. But her. Now, she loved both of them dearly but a single woman living in a house with two men just wasn't working. "When you're done eating there we should get in the water. It must be nice." She gestured to the lake with a nod of her head. "There's people already in." -------------------------------------------------------- Chay brightened when Lovely agreed to join them in the water. Three of them out there was certainly going to be much more fun that just two! Plus, having Lovely around would help her relax a bit. But, Lovely showed a side of himself that Chay certainly hadn't seen before. Not in such a cold manner anyway. Her brow furrowed at his comment towards Ilian and she huffed, all of her embarrassment and uneasiness gone. "That wasn't nice. Going to Hillsworth doesn't mean anything. It's really not fair to treat a friend like that. At least I assumed you were friends since you two were hanging out with each other." Oh she wasn't happy with Lovely at that moment. But, Chay was also an extremely forgiving gal who didn't much care for tense or awkward situations. "So, since you agreed. We're gonna go swimming." She took her inner tube off of her waist and practically tossed it over Lovely's head. "I hope you're still going to come Ilian. I mean...I don't blame you if you're angry at Lovely." She glanced at the pale haired boy. "You could always just take it out on him in the water." Chailee meant no harm by that. She had no idea that Lovely was not at all comfortable in the water. At most she expected the boys to be boys and splash it out, maybe dunk each other at most. Nothing all that harmful. At least not to someone who enjoyed the water. With that Chay grinned. "Beat you boys there!" She took off at a slow jog to the waters edge where she slowed to a stop and gingerly tested the temperature with her feet. "Oh! It's not too bad." It certainly wasn't bath water but it was quite refreshing with the sun beating down and the day only getting hotter. Carefully she began to wade in, stopping short of the water touching her stomach. That was always the worst part to get wet in her opinion. It always felt like a shock to have the cooler water touch her tummy.

Had his hands not been busy with his bag and cooler, he would have picked Nadia up and spun her, as things stood he simply accepted her affection and grinned at Auguste and Lorne. Ash would get a proper greeting once he'd set his things down so he could scoop the Mauvian up. "You look amazing Nadia. You guys are pretty good too." Colin's smile was expansive and bright as he'd winked at Lorne and Auguste and cuddled Ash to his cheek. "And you, my dear lady, are as perfect as ever. And of course I'll keep Ash company for you." He knew the silver Mauvian couldn't say much of anything to him with so many people around, but that was okay. The curly-haired blond made a kissing face towards his friends now that he was holding Ash; being checked out by Lorne hit his radar and was filed away as admiration (which it was). "You have sunblock, yes?" Auguste was so damned pale, it was important to protect one's skin after all. "If not, I've got some you can use." He peered at the young man Lorne screeched at curiously - someone he didn't know!

As soon as the bag was set down, Ash was out of it in a flash of silver fur, claiming their little ‘camp’ with a lift of her tail like a conquerer’s flag. The offerings received inspection as Nadia set them out, the cushion kneaded with her paws and the straw given an experimental lick. All seemed satisfactory, which was only to be expected with Nadia in charge of it, so Ash turned her attention instead to their companions, of whom there were two lovely young men.
Unfortunately, they seemed to be paying more attention to greeting each other than they were to her, which would need to be remedied. She didn’t come all this way to be left on her own, for goodness sake! Ash let out a trilling chirp as she stretched, her back arching in a long curve the swept up into her tail. A voice distracted her from her silent contemplation of which boy to assault with soft, begging paws and Ash straightened up with a happy mew.
Colin!
The blonde Trekkie was a welcome sight and Ash bounced over to wrap herself around his ankles, a purr rolling from her throat as she rubbed her cheeks against him. Like the good boy he was, Colin obliged by picking her up and nuzzling into her fur, earning an even deeper purr of pleasure and greeting. It was a shame they were in mixed company… there was so many things she’d love to talk about with him.
Ash rubbed her face against Colin as she went limp, letting him hold her against his chest with a contented expression

Kyle tried really hard not to snicker when Lorne started getting loud and excited. His cousin always did that with him, without fail. So when Lorne all but tackled him, Kyle had to bite his lip to stop from laughing. It truly was a sight to watch his cousin sometimes. "Noooo, get off." He joked, adding a melodramatic groan for good measure. But then a thought crossed his mind and Kyle grinned widely. "You know what... On second thought..." It took some wiggling, but the teen managed to wriggle his arm out from Lorne's grasp and around his neck where Kyle proceeded to show those standing around just how sprightly the pair could be sometimes by giving Lorne a good old fashion noogie. "Admit your defeat! Go on. Say it!" The dark haired boy laughed as he tried to keep his arm wrapped around his cousins neck. Kyle hastily gave the curly haired blonde a small wave as he tried to keep his cousin subdued. "Yoh."

Ryan paused for a moment at the accent, he hadn't been expecting it, but he didnt really know why. He gave a nod, "I play well enough not to be flatten. I'm just less professional and more summer beach and good times volleyball, but there is nothing like a little competition right?"
Ryan tossed her the ball, then frowned as his phone buzzed in the sleeve on his arm and he sighed. "One sec," he said fishing it out quickly to check it, sighing and shooting back a quick text
Text: You're terrible at nicknames ... endearments w/e ... im about to play volleyball.
He tucked his phone away and looked back to the girl, "sorry about that. I'm Ryan and you would be?"

There hadn't been much for Kam to do to get ready - he left his shirt behind, threw on a pair of board shorts, and walked out of the door in a pair of slip-on Vans. He refused to wear flip-flops, even to a beach party. Men weren't meant to wear such flimsy, blister-inducing feet contraptions. While Sana had spent half the morning getting ready, he had mixed and bottled a strong concoction of anything in the house so that the three of them didn't have to deal with a bunch of bubbly teenagers while sober. Hopefully it would keep Delphine from slugging one of them. "That's what you get for living by the light of the moon, Delph." Not that he and Sana were much better, considering the majority of their day was spent sleeping off the booze from the night before. He managed a sly grin as he tossed one of the bottles at his sometimes-roomie, then settled an arm across the shoulders of his tiny sometimes-girl. Sana simply sighed at him and his joke, turning honey brown eyes up at him, and then glancing at Delphine herself. She'd found a glamorous floppy beach hat and sported a white, halter one piece reminiscent of the 60s. It blocked most of the sun from her face while letting the rest of her skin soak it in. Dainty fingers dug through the beach bag slung over one shoulder, digging out a second bottle. She popped a top, took a sip, and immediately grimaced at the strength. "Holy hell, did you fill this with acid?" She coughed for effect, but didn't shove it into his hands to get rid of it, at least. Acid or not, she obviously wasn't going to pass it up. "I'm sure someone has some sunblock laying around, just make Kam swipe it when they're not looking." A small smile tugged at her lips as she felt him stiffen at her side and knew it wasn't because he was opposed to borrowing something that didn't belong to him, but because she was volunteering him without question. "Can I at least get some food before my daily crime quota, Zharkov?" The arm around her shoulders dropped as he joined Delphine closer to the food tables. He was balancing a pack of canned beer on his hip, but already seemed to be scanning the tables without considering where to put it down. Food was always his number one priority.

She caught the bottle, and from the look on Sana's face as she took a sip of it she wasn't sure if this was meant to taste good more than it was meant to get her drunk as quickly as possible. Delphine glanced down along the beach and considered all the youth gathered here, and then promptly took a sip of Kam's potent-to-a-point booze. God, there was so much happiness and giggling around that she'd rather be sick from a hangover than sick from dealing with them. Her next words echoed Sana's own, just for some damned emphasis on the question. "No, seriously, what the hell did you put in this crap, anyways? Everything?"
Oh my god, that was probably exactly what his answer was going to be. She preemptively groaned in dismay.
"Oh, you've got a quota now? You should have told me, I could have had you do a bunch of minor crimes in my name." Delphine arched a slender brow at Kam before turning back to the food table. Setting her drink down, she piled a plate full of more than adequate amount of grub. Drinking whatever Kam gave her would be a dire mistake on a completely empty stomach, and besides, all of this would probably taste infinitely better if she were drunk.
One of the reasons she probably tolerated Sana the most out of Kam's toys was because she wasn't fawning over him, and they weren't flirting constantly with one another. Maybe Kam just knew well enough not to bring those types of girls around, because Delphine sure as hell wasn't opposed to using her fists to shut a whore up. She hadn't had to resort to that with Sana yet, so it was a good day.
"Anyways, I put some on before I left, otherwise I'd have already burnt to a crisp." She saved Kam from one more day in the life of crime - she deserved one hell of a reward. "And, you know, you can put the beer down. Some kid isn't going to get past either Sana or me to snag it while you grab food." There, she was even giving Sana some credit. She was pretty sure the other woman would valiantly defend Kam's booze even at the cost of her life.
Alcohol was just that important today.

Dmitry couldnt help the chuckle that left him when the other man meantioned that some one would want to suck something out of him. But then he frowned. He was a recently awakened page so he didnt know much about other powereds and what not, even less about the negavers and dark mirrors. But the way he said it made the red head think he was alluding to something of a powered nature.
When it finally hit him, the teen laughed before taking another drag of the cigarette, pouting slightly when Isaiah took it back. His starseed was safe thank you very much and if some nega wanted to tango, he'd be very happy to send them back where they came from with a delightful kick to the balls or if they were female...
a light push and an air kiss...
Gotta be nice to the fairer sex and all y'know.
Slavic? Well he is of Russian parentage so...
When Isaiah decided to look at Dmitry's phone, he simply grinned, letting see just who he was texting and what the text implied. Once he recived Ryan's response, he looked over to where the volley ball net was and grinned. Damn the old man looked good...
He made a mental note to go ******** with him later, priorites and all that. He kept his gaze on his phone while Isaiah looked.
Its not like he had anything more adult going on there...Ryan was a SLOW work in progress, and if the mesage WAS anything personal, he would've locked his phone immediately. As much as he was proud of his body, no one would want to see a picture of his scholng.....Unless they were interested that is.
"Eh, Isaiah works for me...As for that earlier statment," he leaned in close enough so that only Isaiah would hear, eyebrow raised in question. "Just who are you and do I need to kick your a** after I take your cig again?"
Y'know...Not to be agressive but...
Oh yeah! Dmitry whent back to his phone, quickly replying to Ryan while he waited for Isaiah's reasoning.
Quote: Text: D'awww! You think my silly nickname is an endearment? Im honored Ry! You should come over here so I can show my... gratification. ;3 So he might get punched later...It was so worth it to maybe have the chance to make Ryan squirm.

The familiar flash of green hair stole his eyes and he glanced aside to spy Nadia passing. He returned her show of affection with a smile; he'd need to drop by when he caught the chance, maybe harass her boyfriend too. Isaiah was fairly certain that man didn't deserve her if he made demands for a closed relationship.
Open ones were far more fun, despite the fail rate.
But attention was arrested back to Dmitry with his next response, both invasive and unduly harsh for the context. Isaiah's eyes grew lidded and he cocked his head back to examine the man through mascara-laden lashes. Unfortunately it proved difficult to look down on someone when shorter than them.
Initial reaction was to lean into Dmitry's personal space and responde tongue-in-cheek with something like Christina Aguilera or Marilyn Monroe. Instead, he clucked his tongue softly. "Oh, so you're one of those people." Usually he only offered one name, and that name was taken without question. The rare chance he offered both, and the man threatened him with physical assault. Apart from standing slightly taller, it looked like Dmitry had roughly sixty pounds on Isaiah, possibly more. Most of that weight looked like the muscle that the goth plainly didn't have. "If you wanted to kick my a**, you could probably do it easily enough." At this distance, Isaiah wagered the carefully covered bruising around his eyes and nose were detectable beneath the foundation. "The downside is, with a good handful of witnesses, you'd wind up in jail for it. But, you can always take my cigarette." He placed it to lips once more and puckered around it, as if an invitation.
"Since you're so uptight about it..." Isaiah paused to pull his wallet, fished about for a breath, and pulled a die-cast business card that he intended to hand to the redhead. Unfortunately, the man's attention looked stolen by his phone, so Isaiah carefully placed the business card atop the screen. "Isaiah Zähne is my real name." Though, for a flash, he wondered if Dmitry referred to the alter-egos held in powered life. Was he looking for confirmation of Isaiah, or presence of Scholomance? The latter, at least, he knew not to furnish so lightly.
"Unless 'kicking my a**' is a euphemism for bedroom affairs, I think I'll leave you to your distractions." Isaiah started to walk backward. "Have fun with your old man."

Nadia made it to the drink bar and helped herself with the DIY list, making two sex on the beaches. Then she headed back to her group, knowing that Ash was in good hands with Colin, and that none of the boys would be without excitement.
Even if one of the boys had know Lorne, was someone new to her and she was just a little bit confused on why he looked at her the way he did. Maybe Lorne could explain?
She caught the tail wind though of Andrew's (Isaiah) conversation and dropped herself casually in next to the man, "Sorry to Intrude here, Andrew, Would you like some Sex on the Beach?" She smiled up at him.
She wasn't offering the glass yet though, she hadn't even thought of it. She'd take these two back to Colin and Ash, and perhaps make herself or Andrew some.

Annabel wandered into the party with a handle of Fireball Whiskey under one arm, and a case of Angry Orchard in the other hand. She wore black swim trunks (and not those "girl" swim trunks but actual trunks designed with guys in mind) the brightest green bikini top she could find, a grey plaid shirt with the cuffs rolled over her elbows, and combat boots. Because who doesn't come to a lake party in combat boots?
She knew absolutely no one at this party but that wasn't going to stop her from having a good time. Anna was resourceful. The short haired young lady - no, older teen - was an adventurous sort; she'd always try something at least once. In this case, there wasn't much to try, 'cept talking to people. Not her best skill, but hey! Practice made perfect.
(It had absolutely nothing to do with the fact she could get drunk without getting in trouble. In theory.)
She dropped the handle of Fireball at the drink bar, popping the top off one of the hard ciders. Anna took apprasal of the gathering. Lots of smaller groups, huh? A few random people were hiding among the shade, though they didn't seem particularly wanting company.
Bah.
For now, she leaned against the bar, casually sipping from her bottle and content to scope out the lake.Quote: Feel free to interact with Annabel! She has booze.

Isaiah took Nadia's intrusion as fortuitous - not only did she allow for escape from the potentially annoyed man, but her presence there gave him every reason to retreat before Dmitry called him out on a fake name in front of his Saturn associate. Isaiah's bony fingers crawled around Nadia's bicep before he lead her in a turnabout to walk away from the redhead.
"You're going to be the death of me one day." He looked askance at her, eyes narrowed in suspicion. "The answer is yes, but I'd like to know if I'm getting laid or getting a drink." Nadia didn't strike him as the type against public intercourse but having That Boyfriend who apparently preferred a closed relationship complicated matters greatly. The drinks in her hand also provided the biggest hint. It dismayed him somewhat to know the truth. "I'm going to guess it's the drink. You are such a tease," he finished, the last word hissed through clenched teeth.
She may not have offered what was on hand, but Isaiah did not take either of the drinks in vain hope for a more literal intent behind the question.
"I'm going to assume you're here with your boyfriend? I should meet this man." And kick his a**.
If only it were that simple.

Nadia was watching through half lidded eyes, lazily smiling.
"Nice to meet you." She said to the other man before being moved along and laughing, light and low at Isaiah's comments. Yes, she was teasing him. And she would continue to, as long as he gave rise to her doing so. Flirting, in her mind, was just a extra polite form of conversation anyways.
"You've got a lot of days for that, Handsome." she shuffled her drinks so that he didn't spill them and then laughed again. Still low. Still delightfully entertained. "You've already said yes, so it doesn't matter which one is intended because you are saying yes to whatever I want." She leaned over and whispered in his ear. "It's the drink. In my hand." And then leaned back, her smirk ever so wide.
"I could give you a b*****b if you wanted instead." She waited, "There is a list of all those fun little drinks at the bar set up." She laughed for a third time and started to head towards her little entourage of friends, people she hoped, Isaiah would take too since most of them were saturn bros. As well as Ash, but who didn't love Ash?
"Yes he's here." She pointed to Lorne, "It's the tall dark haired one. I'm sure he'd love to meet you."
