The seventh division captain held her hand on the hilt of her blade as she waited for one of the hollows to move, to reveal a brief gap in their defenses. Not even a finger twitched as she remained alert. The wind whipped at her hair, her gaze unmoving as it peered into the vast stream of fate. Tsukiya arrives on scene holding the Captain of Fourth, Scarlet Lane, like a princess. He rests her gently on her foot and crutch before she releases her Bankai versus the Hollow masses. Before he could act the Captain of the Ninth showed as well releasing her own Bankai on the invaders. 'Geeze... no pressure. Just think of this as a proper captain challenge... Show them that you deserve this seat and your not just Taicho Muramasa's shadow.'"___" His voice falling on deaf ears as he called out the name of his zanpaku-tou, and thusly his own Bankai. The beauty of Taicho Akagi's bankai as it masked his release to the beasts that would have learned what he was all about. Shortly after the release, the Acting Captain fused with the weapon cause his reishi to seem vastly different than before as both spirits merged and worked in unison.
In this new, boosted form, Tsukiya began chanting incantations to kidou, though once more they fell on the opponent's deaf ears. "Spirit of Valor, grant me strength! Bougyoudo #24: Ryukin!"' "Spirit of Shielding; grant me your protection! Bougyoudo #25: Deband!" "God of the gales; grant upon us the speed of your kin. Let us join among the dance of the winds, Bougyoudo #52: Hayameru!" All three of the Bougyoudo activating one after the other, till Hayameru effect takes hold. A more earthy, divine aura flares around his body. His body now under a heavy strain as it is kicked into overdrive.. though it doesn't show it at all. The male could only hope that it wasn't too much for him to process as he raises his left hand and waves it before Taicho Lane. A large pillar rises from the ground before the earthen look shatters revealing two elegantly crafted pillars floating just over the battle scarred land. They move apart revealing a jade colored barrier of energy, "Jade Curtain." He then steps past the barrier and looks over his shoulder, "Use it Taicho Lane.. I will show you the might of the Eleventh Division."

Shortly after the arrival of the Fourth, Seventh and acting Eleventh Division Captains, Chuck would arrive to the field of battle and the devastation that these Hollows have been causing up until now. He grits his teeth momentarily, before observing the assorted Shinigami that had in fact arrived to this battle, and the numbers were certainly not up to the standard he expected, considering the number of Shinigami throughout the divisions. Chuck firmly knocks the soot and remaining tobacco from his pipe onto the ground, as he begins to recite the necessary incantation for his initial strike. ""Light to the highest.. Damnation seeks the wicked soul... Cup to the south... Six chariots thunder..." He says, mostly under his breath as he draws and then sheaths the zanpakuto at his waist, a slight glow of the blade could be noticed if someone was quick enough to observe it, as if writing had formed it's way across the blade itself. With the Bakudou in place, Chuck silently stands off to the side of the battle field, not entirely close enough to his allies that he could be caught up in any of the Hollow's immediate retaliations. With other Shinigami arriving, and the strength of some of the Hollows in the area, he knew better than just to throw himself right into the thick of the fight and get himself murdered. He would bide his time and wait for an opening where he could deal a good chunk of damage at once. "Have to keep track of those that arrive too.. Captain Commander isn't going to be thrilled if he has to arrive to fill in for seventy five percent of Soul Society..." Chuck says, before spitting at the ground at his feet and raising a hand to adjust the wide brimmed hat snuggly fit to his head, so that his cold gray eyes would be masked in the shadow it produced.

He immediately turned around to head out to the source, which he found to be an area in the Western Rukongai. He looks around to take a survey of the battlefield. He sees five Shinigami and twelve Hollows. The Shinigami were three Captains and two Vice Captains, while the Hollows had 4 Vasto Lorde Arrancar, and 2 Vasto Lorde Menos Grandes. With these odds, he hopes more Shinigami show up to the fight. He draws Bishamonten and shouts his release command. “Bishamonten, strengthen me so we may slay our foes!” As he enters bankai, he goes ahead and focuses on Bishamonten, entering the further state of fusing with him. Black oily armor covers him, and nothing but shadow can be seen under the armor, save for a pair of bright shining white eyes. He then activates one of his bankai abilities. “Bishamonten, warfare!” He then moves to the other Shinigami. “Acting Captain Hiiragi, what are your orders? Is there anyone I should focus on?” Each of the Shinigami near him feels an eagerness to join battle with these foes.

Ikasu flash steps into an area among the shinigami, standing on a large rock. The twelfth division shinigami looks around at the destruction. He makes note of the fallen Vanessa and makes a mental note. 'If that body is unclaimed or has not yet turned to ashes, I will certainly enjoy grabbing some genetic materials.' He continues to survey the scenery and ponders his options. 'Use me!' he hears his zanpakutou demand. 'Forget it, you cocky little s**t. There is no need for you right now.' The zanpakutou sounds affronted and snarks, 'So you are going to call upon your shinki powers? You-' 'Shut the hell up. There is no time to talk to you.' He begins his chanting as he begins to make a series of somatic gestures. A great flame flashes up around him from the sole of his feet to well above the crown of his head. "Those who defile this sacred land," he begins, "shall be punished by the might of the kami who guard this place. Rising hammer, hammer fall, the children of the forge ..." he begins and then slips into ancient Japanese for the remainder of the chant. A great wall of fire rises up and sweeps through the battlefield as he makes a few careful gestures. "Strike the interlopers and evils, purify!" He can always get somebody to heal them later for experimental purposes.

The shinigami were finally beginning to pour in finally it had taken them long enough as is to respond to the sheer level of destruction they had unleashed upon the Rukongai in such a short amount of time. Hadrian though had to give them credit when they did arrive they reacted fast especially when it came to targeting him. The small crippled one seemed to have something up her sleeve with her bankai as the gushing wounds on the firsts shinigami seemed to come to a complete stand still, then she turned her attention to him coming in close to touch him. Hadrian was already on the move kicking off the ground as he dashed backwards away from the woman, even as another shinigami showed up rendering him briefly blind, and deaf as she activated her own Bankai. He had to give them props this was a very potent combination it was only a shame that even with all that work it was rendered useless against a soldier such as he.
Coming to a stop above fifty feet away from the shinigami a wild smile cresting upon his lips. "OH THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!" He shouted out his voice carrying across the battlefield in a thunderous boom as a tidal wave of killing intent rolled off of his body his reiatsu spiking heavily. "YES MORE, MORE,MORE it doesn't matter how many of you there are I will bring you all crashing to your knees.....so just keep sending more soldiers to the grinding wheel mere sacrifices to the true gods of death." Lifting his zanpakuto high into the air he narrowed his eyes his face a mask of twisted joy as he spoke the next words with such unrestrained glee, and blood lust. "CONQUER, TIRANO."
The force of his released flatten the buildings around him crushing whatever poor souls still might have been surviving hiding away in fear. Shooting upwards into the air as thick clouds of dust, and debris rolled across the destruction Hadrian's gaze behind his visor settles on Scarlet Lane, and the rest of the shinigami a wall of flame moving harmlessly down beneath him. "Now you shall suffer well...try not to die too quickly on me...I want to have some fun after all." Bringing his elongated released gun to bear he unleashed a barrage of bones in a wall of oppressive suppressive fire power that the shinigami would have no choice but to retreat to the edge of it's range lest they were riddled with holes their bodies lifeless on the cold ground.
He did not stop there he was just getting into the swing of things from his vantage on high he aimed his gun straight at the sky reiatsu gathering within the magazine of his rifle building up stronger, and stronger causing the very air around Hadrian to wrap around him. Pulling the trigger an explosive boom shook the foundations of the buildings around him the shockwave from the shot visible as the clouds parted around him. The bullet rose into the air, and as it reached the apex it shattered in a brilliant display looking as if the sky itself had shattered into a thousand of pieces. The pieces rained down across a large portion of western rukongai clouds of deadly gas filled with flesh devouring contagions blooming where each piece landed covering swathes of the land in it. Even in such indiscriminate death, Hadrian focused on the Captain of the 4th the gas around her super charging as he fired a second bullet into intent on inflicting her with more of his parasitic creations."Focus down the cripple...nothing is beyond our sights...feast FREELY ON HER SOUL!!"

Ahriman had been gradually moving through the area, killing the stragglers while the more hollow mindset of himself dragged him along with the willingness of bloodshed and slaughter. His hidden gaze snapping back and forth behind the slits of his mask as he searches for his next target. Of course, the sudden arrival of several powerful beings would cause his bloodlust to subside as he finds himself immediately losing all senses of awareness to what was around him. "Wha- How- ?" He says aloud, his mind flying into a state of confusion as he falls to a stop and begins glancing around quickly in the hopes of his senses returning to him. Zesiro on the other hand had been standing beside Hadrian with a grin on her face, expecting to be handed a gun and allowed to shoot things with the expectation of glitter launching across the sky. Of course before anything fun could happen her gaze snaps to the side and momentarily goes cold as she sees a female appearing from no where and moving towards them both, before her senses went out as well. Even with the lack of her main senses, the sudden crash of spiritual power from nearby would send her flying off her feet and a couple feet away from where she had stood, tears welling up in her eyes as she feels the preasure increase as what she presumed to be Hadrian unleashed his strength to the area around them. Zesiro slowly shifted herself back to her feet and stumbled forward a few steps in the darkness before stumbling over something and falling down again. With searching fingers she attempts to figure out the source, only to discover that it was a fallen female with features akin to someone she knew. "Va-Va-Vanessa?!" She screams out loud, throwing herself onto the body beside her. And then moments after, the Flames covered both Zesiro and Ahriman.

Kreios had moved as quickly as he could from the Academy and towards where the hollows were fighting. Somewhere along the way he had glanced to his side and noticed that Hibiki had vanished nowhere to be seen. He frowns immediately, his golden eyes glancing this way and that around him as he dashed, only noticing that at some point his zanpaktou had been slipped back into his belt, although on the wrong side. "I guess.. She didn't want to continue the date? Or had something more important to do? I will just wait for her message whenever it may come." He says before turning his attention back to the task at hand. Hollows attacking the Soul Society hadn't happened in a long while and could not have come at a worse time for them all. His golden eyes swept over the battlefield as he slides to a stop immediately noticing the odd feeling of Reiatsu in the air that was associated with the male in the air in the distance who had just finished firing something upon everyone before he arrived. "At least I missed that and it seems the hollows are mostly occupied.. Spell Burst.. Flash Cast.. God of the gales; grant upon us the speed of your kin. Let us join among the dance of the winds, Bougyoudo #52: Hayameru!" He calls out as soon as he was close enough to be with the group of other Shinigami. Turning a ring on his finger in the process as a line of blood trails along an ingrained center portion of the ring itself. Preliminary buffs established even as well as an additional boost of speed for himself, and the First Division Vice Captain that he had ended up beside when he arrived. He assumed that ar least this one additional target would help sway the current fight more to the Shinigami favor. Kreios' golden gaze swayed over the battlefield once again as he prepared mentally for his next few actions that he had planned.

Koko roars defiantly as fire falls from the sky with her eyes narrowed and tentacles flailing out of her mouth. She hugs her brother and braces for impact from the fire wall as it washes through. The pain is intense and sears through her. Sinking to her knees and panting from the intensity she growls her defiance. 'If I survive this ... I will never forgive the shinigami for this,' she thinks. She attempts to move, but finds that she can no more than cry out in pain from her burns. It had been a serious hit. She finds herself incapable of doing anything beyond looking down upon her twin brother. Tears reach her eyes, but it is rage on her face. Is he alive? Did he survive? She had not been swift enough to shield him with her body. She hadn't been swift enough to help them get away. Their only hope is if one of the other hollows takes pity on her. She does not believe anything good will come of being captured by the shinigami who had announced his desire to examine and experiment upon any hollow that he can gather for specimens. Death is all that she expects at this point and so she decides to take this like the adults with as much courage and determination as she can muster. Anger is an all consuming emotion in her right now. Death may come to claim her, but she will not grant it the satisfaction of her cringing away or pleading to not be taken. She digs her claws into the soil beneath her and glares at the shinigami. She does not dare hope to be saved and does not expect it. No, this will be a noble death and she will take it. This is her decision.
Eli watched the others keenly as they caused destruction to the Rukongai. Even joining in every now and then to destroy something. The weak little hollow was having a blast. Though it was not to last much longer as the Shinigami started to arrive. All of them much stronger than he was. He decided to hang back to watch since there was nothing he could do now. Even running away was pointless now at least as far as he could tell. Eli's courage fails him as he sees the arrival of the fourth and seventh divisions arrivals but the weak hollow does not even try to run or beg he just waits for what he knows is about to happen. Though he did not expect to be sent to a vast lake. For Eli that lake would be the last thing he saw as Ikasu's attack would kill him.

At some point Thad had gotten separated from the family that was hiding with him. But that was alright there were other targets like the weak little hollow that was trying to stay near the wolf like hollows. As the fight with the Shinigami began he decided that he would try to eat the weakest of the group. And started towards Eli. Thad didn't worry about the first Shinigami to arrive since she seemed to have aimed for Sasori and not him. Much to his annoyance another of the weaker hollows tries to cram him into her mouth. But he manages just barely to escape her attempt to eat him by grabbing onto one of the mouth tentacles and hopping away from her grasp. He barely has the time to notice the arrival of a couple of captain before all he sees is a vast calm lake. "I am dead." He thinks or mutters he is not sure which but it does not matter for it was not long before Ikasu's attack would kill him.
Elninio finally arrives from her training session at the academy. Once this battle was over and anyone surviving was taken care of she would return to the academy to train more. She thought about releasing her zanpakuto like her comrades had but she did not feel quite ready to use it. El went to join her allies but was unable to because of a barrier. So she hangs back and waits for it to fall so that she can help out. El spots Kreios and Chuck outside of the barrier and quietly goes to join them. She frowns as she does not seem to be able to help the other Shinigami. Then remembers Kawairashī yōsai. So she decides to activate that at least her Ice fortress might be able to help some. Maybe.

Sasori just stands there as the shinigami’s kido doesn’t affect him, failing to get through his skin. He turns to look at the Shinigami, hearing several other hollows launch attack, before another Shinigami shows up and activates their bankai. Just before his world becomes a vast tranquil lake. He is startled for a moment, before realizing it must be some kind of illusion. He takes several deep sniffs, activating Pesquisa to tell where the Shinigami are. He senses several more join before he senses a massive wave of heat and spiritual power heading his way. He dodges this, leaping over the wall of flames. After the wave of flames, he takes several more sniffs and senses that a few of the hollows have died. Sasori fixes where the Shinigami that attacked him is in his head, then activates an ability of his, creating larger claws of spiritual energy around his actual claws. He then moves in a blinding flash to strike her with the back of his hand with a simple strike.

Attacks came at her, Bullets, balas, even a backhand slap came to her swiftly, she couldn't even defend against them. Her body is in tatters but still holding up her Bankai as she can hear Yudai "Don't you feel that, your Captains, they have appeared plus something is strange about the spirit energy. It feels almost limitless like you are a ghost or something." He is right, Captain Lane releasing her bankai stopped her wounds with the big statue among the Shinigami. Its very clear, even though her wounds pain had stopped, the wounds don't close up at all. It works out for Kiku because she must continue fighting even if its pointless. Sasori, the hollow she attacked earlier, just completely insulted her with a back hand slap however with that single move, Kiku realizes the big power difference between her and him. With that, she has to leave Sasori to the Captains, she has no choice in that matter, not only does a Assassin need to fight stronger but be smart too in heated combat.
Her eyes linger upon the one who attacked her earlier with bala, the one that took the chance to attack her from behind. She turns to Vanargand as she would incite another Kido as she is prepared to duke it out with her. "Hadou#54: Haien!" A intense flame wave go towards Vanargand as with the sweat still coursing through her muscles, She fires it smoothly towards her target attempting to singe her for earlier attack but setting her up for future fire attacks.

Ikasu surveys the landscape for how the hollows have been affected. At least two dead, one seriously injured. One has vanished from this plane. Had he exited via garganta? Hopefully so. He does not detect his reiatsu any longer. As he scans, his eyes bring up several readings of the area. Aside from the obvious survivors among the hollows, he notes that the littlest hollow is still clinging to life and looking defiant at the shinigami in general. While she is cute, in her own way, he feels neither pity nor compassion for her and her brother. Hollows must be purified, regardless of what they are like. It is the way the balance works. These souls must have their corruption removed if they are to be relieved of their painful existence. Granted, he does want to do experiments on hollow flesh. He is a proud member of Division Twelve, after all. He takes note of the fourth division's captain performing a healing rite and he nods politely to her. "Domo arigato, Taishou-sama," he says while staying aware of his surroundings. He ponders the situation as he reaches into his kimono. "Tatsukiba, old friend, lend me your strength. Your master gave you to my ancestors, may your fang bite true. Tatsukiba: Kiritateru!" The dragon fang dagger glows as he draws it and makes a slashing motion in the direction of the hollows. The meaning of his command is 'Dragon Fang: Slay All.' This attack is aimed at Sasori. Might as well aim at the big dog.

Chuck stood there silently overseeing the entire battlefield, he could see those that had managed to be within the protective space of the Fourth Captain easily preparing themselves and even some sending out attacks like the wall of flames. He frowned slightly to himself, as he turned his attention onto the hovering Hollow that had taken aim at ranged combat and used their barrage of bullets barrier to keep others from intruding on the fight. And then just as suddenly, the barrage ended. Chuck himself did not even see what had happened, the male that was the biggest threat, the one that was most definitely going to be doing some damage at one point or another, just vanished. Perhaps he couldn't take the pressure of the combat? Or maybe he simply saw his chance and fled back to the sand pits like trash such as that belong, but either way, he was now gone. Which lead to a much more interesting thing that Chuck could pay attention to, and he knew that his ally beside him could do the same. The remaining Hollows were still ready for the pickings and his weapon was primed and ready to go! Chuck immediately set forth to enter the fray and allow for himself to get a lick or two in before these other Hollows attempted to flee too. Even though he knew what he had planted on his weapon, he should be able to do something to any one of these Hollows. Chuck's cold gray eyes set upon the only Hollow that had activated their power and was still left in the area, if he could get rid of that one it should essentially end the fight all together. Or at least that was what he figured as he dashed towards Sasori. He could see another attacker aiming to leap in as well, and knew that this would put him at an advantage for his own attack. Chuck would swoop right in with the hope that this Hollow was distracted by the blood red slash of energy that was aimed to strike Sasori as well. He slid in immediately, and immediately muttered a single word. "Reap." The zanpakuto in his hand's form changing ever so slightly, gaining what could only be described as tentacles that almost appeared to move, for the guard and a glossy sheen both upon the blade, and the remainder of the scabbard and handle as well. Chuck's Shikai activating the moment he muttered the word, as his power flares outwards in rhythm to the single slash of his weapon towards Sasori. He was certainly not at his strongest, but he was completely prepared to push his limits the best he could against any opponent, and with that thought in mind, he drew his weapon in a flash for this one attack, putting the full available force and speed behind it with the intention of either cutting Sasori down, or casting them out of the Soul Society entirely.

Off in the distance, standing upon one of few rooftops that were still standing, were the hardly recognizable forms of the Captain of the Second Division, and the Captain of the Twelfth Division. They had arrived roughly around the same time, and each had taken up residence on the same roof top in order to see the situation from a better vantage point. The moment the strange barrier of gunfire had been released and the Hollow in question had apparently vanished from the face of this world. They both went into action, leaping off the roof top and dropping to the ground below in order to head towards where the fighting was taking place. The elderly woman in charge of the Second Division having no apparent issue keeping up with the younger male beside her who lead the Twelfth Division. The male had a clear look of rage, this area having been similar to the place he had grown up and it all now lay in ruins before him. They would pay for this, if there were any alive upon his arrival.
